A great restaurant with an awesome view of the ocean! The service is great. They were all super friendly and the server helping us was very helpful and descriptive with the menu. I recommend making reservations prior to going to the restaurant. Although the indoor seating is great, the outdoor seating is recommended. The food was delicious, except for the chicken sandwich. I tried the chicken sandwich because it sounded delicious, but it was heavy on the breading, dry, and bland. What you should try on the other hand: crispy calamari, mesquite grilled salmon, Chilean sea bass, and the day boat catch. Those dishes did not disappoint! There is plenty of parking, but you are required to pay. I recommend coming out to hangout here for the day and come for lunch or dinner with the family! read more

Five stars all the way! We had an incredible dining experience at the Parker's Lighthouse restaurant in Long Beach, CA. The food was outstanding, fresh seafood, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Every bite was amazing. Our waitress, Anneliese truly made the night though. She was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, the wine and so friendly. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish. It's rare to find service that thoughtful and genuine. Oh and the desert, can't remember the name it was a cake with ice cream that she also recommended was amazing. When arriving, you pull into a parking lot, right on the bay! The parking was $7 with validation from the restaurant. The restaurant is right on the bay and has some amazing views all around it! When going inside you are completely taken back by the beautiful restaurant and the huge windows with a view from almost every table! We checked in and we were seated right away. They asked us if we preferred a table at the window or outside and we opted in for the table inside by the window. When putting in our reservation before we went, we let them know we were celebrating our anniversary and they congratulated us as soon as sitting us down! We thought that was super special. Our server was amazing, got us our drinks and went over our questions about the menu. They have a pretty large menu, so definitely take your time going over it! We ordered the burrata bruschetta as our appetizer. And for the entrees we had the filet mignon and the day boat catch. The bruschetta was SO tasty. The bread was crisp and the cheese literally melted in your mouth. The flavors with the tomatoes all combined together so well! The filet mignon entree was cooked to perfection! The asparagus was delicious and tender, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and tasty. The day boat catch (which was salmon), was also cooked perfectly. It was soft and melted in your mouth every bite! It came with potatoes and veggies which accompanied it very well! For dessert we ordered the crème brûlée to share and two espressos. The crème brûlée was TO DIE FOR! We still talk about how good it was to this day! Definitely one of our favorites. It had the best caramelization shell on top and cracked with the tap of the spoon. The espresso was strong but tasty! They also brought over two glasses of champagne to us to celebrate our anniversary on them! It was super sweet of them and it definitely made our night! As we rolled ourselves out of our chairs and walked back to the car we talked about all of the delicious food and when we were going to go back! The prices were fair for this restaurant given its upscale menu and location! This place is at the very end of the pier and it's an absolute gem. The restaurants at the beginning of the pier were overly packed with wait time, even on a Tuesday evening and this spot had no wait and AMAZING views. The drinks were good, the food was great, though I have had better clam chowder, but it totally hit the spot. Plenty of seating options both outside and inside and depending on where you sit, you can have a view of the Queen Mary or the lighthouse (or both.) In the evening they have heaters outside, and plenty of umbrellas during the day to provide some shade. There's a really cool, two-story, wine cellar in the middle of the restaurant and we'll have to come back to try some of the wines. read more

The food is great and the ambiance is gorgeous- view of the Long Beach Harbor and the magical (still, after all these years) Queen Mary make great backdrops for your photos. Ate here tonight while in town on business based on a coworker recommendation and I can say..It did not disappoint. Holy Cow, first of, our server Lexi was amazing. She was attentive and made some excellent recommendations from the menu. She recommended the mixed grill, we asked about the Chilean Sea Bass and she said we could get it on the Mixed Grill....SOLD. The Mixed grill is an excellent dish. Everything on the plate was delicious, the sea bass, scallops, shrimp and vegetables were cooked to perfection. Unfortunately the ambiance and scenery didn't make up for service at this restaurant. Once we got our table, we did not have a server for over 20 minutes. Once we asked about it they apologized and somebody came over to say they weren't our server but ours would be out shortly. I want to start by saying that Parker's Lighthouse is normally a truly magical place for us. Tonight, the hostess team--especially Yajaira--really shined, and the BOH team executed everything with perfection. Unfortunately, our server, Laura, was extremely lackluster. On 2/6/26, we had reservations for our anniversary dinner. This is a restaurant we visit a couple of times every year to celebrate special occasions together. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly, with all of our seating requests accommodated, and received above-and-beyond service from the hostess team. Once seated, however, we were not greeted by our server for at least 10 minutes. By the time Laura came to our table, we were essentially ready to order everything but decided to start with appetizers. After the appetizers arrived, Laura checked in, and I asked if we could place our entrée order. She responded with, "Let's not rush," even though I was simply trying to properly course out our meal. When we were finally able to place our entrée order, there was a noticeable delay, especially considering we had been finished with our appetizers for quite some time. This was frustrating. That said, the food itself was outstanding--huge shoutout to the BOH chefs and food runners, who truly stole the show and clearly know what they're doing. We ended the night by ordering dessert, which was not comped. While this isn't a dealbreaker, fine-dining standards typically include a complimentary dessert for special occasions. Laura did offer us a half flute of champagne, but it arrived after we had already placed our card down, which made it seem like it may have been forgotten. I also noticed that the silverware was not polished. It's a small detail, but when you're expecting fine-dining service, the little things matter. It was a great place to enjoy a leisure meal with a nice view! I wouldn't recommend going in a rush as it is more of a sit down establishment. I came right around 1:30pm and was seated immediately. The staff are were extremely kind and wonderful. I came in to grab a light late lunch and found myself ordering the clam chowder and half a dozen raw oysters. There was bread and butter that came to the table as well. The clam chowder is more on the mild side in terms of flavor but the oysters were exactly what I expected from west coast varieties. Seabass was also good. Sea food pasta was tasty according to my brother. Desserts were really good.. Food over all solid 4 stars. Now our server on the other hand, I was very displeased with. She looked like she wasn't enthused with having a party of 10 at ALL, or just, us, in general, I don't know.... Never in the entire time she came to our table did she ever smile, except for the time she bumped my baby girl's head. I'm just the type of guy who loves the server who takes care of my family, the server who'd go the extra mile and ask my kids what they'd like to order. It was simple to make a reservation online and you can put any special requests or messages and I put we were celebrating a birthday and everyone greeted my mom when we got there which was great. Our server was also super helpful with suggestions of the menu. They give complimentary sourdough bread w butter which was delicious. We started off with calamari which was crispy and yummy. I love dining on the patio at Parkers' on a nice day outside as the view is absolutely gorgeous. Travis our server took excellent care of us during our recent visit and really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Started off with some Steamed Manila Clams and an order of the Garlic Cheese bread. Both were delicious and a perfect combination. For my entree, I had the Shrimp Cobb Salad which was a huge portion and filling. Parking in the plaza where Parkers' is located is a bit tight and chaotic during their peak times, but the restaurant will validate so you only end up paying like $2.75 or so which is pretty reasonable. Ordered the fried calamari and the clam chowder.. calamari was still squishy and not really "fried" , clam chowder was lukewarm and not even hot. Had to return it back for new ones. The oyster Rockefeller was like eating artichoke dip in an oyster.. and the burger with their garlic cheese bread was 6/10.. it tasted like a big bison burger with no lettuce, no ranch option.. no salad option.. no onions.. no lettuce.. Just basic burger with fries and side of ketchup. Server looked kind of new and blonde man with wavy hair bussed a few tables without looking at the utensils next to the plates and kept dropping the utensils on customers.. For a first year anniversary, I was kind of disappointed. I called the steak house just to get to this light house. Parker's lighthouse is great! It's a little touristy because it's on Shoreline Village, but it's at the very very end of the pier so it feels separated from shoreline village in a way. The views outside on the patio are great, and if you don't want to be outside, the restaurant inside is large and spacious with lots of windows for good views as well. The food itself is really solid, pretty basic seafood options. My dad brother and I all got the ahi sandwich which was really good! I had the French fries and they were great. My dad's cousin had the fish and chips and he really liked them as well! Really big portion of fish and French fries. Our server checked on us regularly and was very friendly. Let me start with the Location. Such a wonderful location with the views and the ambiance at night with the lights and the Queen Mary. However the food was priced high and the quality and quantity was low. The drinks were also very sub par. In all, the restaurant was beautiful but lacked the quality in the food, presentation and portion for the price. The server was nice, helpful and informative. It was definitely not her fault with the food and drinks. Over all I think this is a nice tourist spot not expecting true quality and quantity established by better places for the same price. The views are extraordinary, but that was all sadly. We came on Mother's Day at 3pm so we had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for a table which ended up being outside. I'm not sure why the wait was so long bc there were plenty of tables open and not very packed inside. We didn't mind the wait. We sat outside people watching since their bar was closed for what looked like a buffet. Anyway, I ordered the fish and chips which was almost inedible. It definitely wasn't fresh and tasted like fish sticks. My friends ordered the steak, the clam chowder, a shrimp Caesar salad, and the lobster taqueria. Their food look better than mine but I'm not sure it tasted any better. Well...first time I'm writing one review for two visits to the same restaurant...almost feel like a food critic, down to not having to having directly pay for either meal (our dining companions were generous both times). Summary: outstanding service, wonderful atmosphere and surroundings, mostly OK food but with some big negatives. Four of us (two couples) initially came on a late Wednesday afternoon. Parkers' is located in Shoreline Village, in downtown Long Beach. All the restaurants and shops share a giant parking lot. It is $2 every 20 minutes, but with shop validation, the first two hours is a flat $2. It was the first time for all of us at the restaurant, and we were seated outside immediately with decent amount of shade provided by umbrellas. The views were very good, with sightlines to both Lions lighthouse, the Queen Mary, and of course the marina. My family came for happy hour on a Friday afternoon, and had a very similar experience. If you enjoy oceanfront dining el fresco, a lot of the restaurants at Shoreline have it, with Parkers' being one of the largest. Parkers' stretch is very narrow, allowing a lot of tables to be right next to the edge. The edge is covered in clear plexiglass, so a good place to still get the views but some coverage from the constant ocean breezes. The servicer on both visits were excellent, with constant, attentive service throughout all parts of the experience. We interacted with a lot of different people, and to a tee, everyone was pleasant and very helpful. The only non-optimal time was when our drinks for happy hour took a very long time, and then was told my draft beer request was tapped out. They could have done better on that, but everything else was really great. In terms of the food and drinks, it was hit and miss. Karaage Chicken Lettuce Wraps ($18) - definitely skippable. Three cross section of iceberg lettuce, with a few overcooked chicken nuggets (karaage), some mayo. Spicy Edamame ($7) - wife really likes edamame as a finger food, and this version was fine. We got it on both visits. Mediterranean Salad ($17 + $9 for chicken) - it was what you would expect. Our friend enjoyed it. Arugula & Strawberry Fields Salad ($18) - this was my entree, and it was OK. The strawberries were beautiful and well presented. Fish & Chips ($26) - my wife liked this dish. The beer batter was very thick, so she ended up peeling most of it off. The accompanying fries were excellent, crispy and perfect with ketchup. Mesquite Grilled Salmon ($39) - The taste was good. The portion was on the smaller side considering the price. I was also given portions of the side dish that looked like seared bay scallops, but definitely wasn't. After tasting, I thought it was some sort of cheese curds...later I realized it was gnocchi. For our second visit, we focused on Happy Hour items (mostly): Garlic Cheesebread ($12) - it looked and tasted good, and was a good way to start the meal. But hard to justify that price. Crispy Calamari ($14) - this was very good. A large portions with both rings and tentacles. Lightly battered and didn't taste like it had been frozen. Chicken Wings ($12) - 5 large pieces. Only choice was buffalo style, not freshly spun. Decent value. Sushi Combination ($30) - miso soup with a full california roll and 7 pieces of nigiri. My daughter and I split this. I thought the miso soup was excellent, with large pieces of tofu and seafood and really good flavor. I really liked the california rolls, nice and fat with tons of the krab mixture and the right amount of rice. But the nigiri fish freshness/quality was suspect, with some being good (halibut), others OK (salmon, tuna, shrimp), but some not good (eel, yellowtail, albacore). And to make matters worse, some of the nigri had undercooked sushi rice (it was actually a little crunchy)....that's REALLY bad...even buffet style sushi don't make that mistake. That really turned my daughter off, and I ended up eating most of the sushi myself. Prices are high here, meeting expectations of what you would expect in a tourist area with such beautiful surroundings/views. So value wasn't great. We will definitely be here at least once more, so will update this review on how Parkers' handles a big party once complete. read more

Really trying to love this place. We dined here once for Thanksgiving and the food was mediocre but the waiter was great!. Spent one NYE here and the bartender was awesome. BUT have visited a few times for a date night in the area and visited the bar top to just kinda mingle and there is one bartender here who always comes off at a snot "with us" I've noticed. I have paid attention how he has approached and taken drink orders from others and the tude is not matched. I found myself hoping he'd not be at the bar on my last visit but there he was. I was told by another visitor he usually works the bar upstairs "when open". Hoping I will have a better review in the near future. I am curious to try the steakhouse upstairs. read more

Came last night for the Thanksgiving buffet. Great location, beautiful restaurant and super friendly staff. Food was mediocre at best, overall I found it to lack seasoning and flavor. The meats- great options on paper, but none were executed particularly well. Turkey was over cooked and dry, salmon and crab cakes seemed slightly under, prime rib and short rib were good. Sides- all were very bland. Mashed potatoes and brown butter yams lacked any flavor. Mac and cheese literally had no cheese at all, mushrooms rice was dry/burned. Seasonal veggies and the pasta with marinara were good. Bread- corn bread was dry, biscuits were great. Desserts were good. Overall not worth the $95 a person IMO. Catering seems to be a much better option , especially when you wake up the next day and don't have any leftovers read more

The cocktails were bland as well. The waiter (younger man)was sarcastic and we sensed that he wasn't happy to serve us. Dry, forced smile. Obvious who he preferred to wait on. Time to overhaul the entire restaurant, you're living off a reputation that is long gone. If it wasn't for the waterfront, you would never have any business.Tourists will continue to pay because they don't know any better.
