I walked out of Parlor Doughnuts and told my husband, "that was maybe the best pastry I've ever eaten". This place exceeded my expectations - I assumed they'd have mediocre/decent coffee, over priced donuts and a nice ambiance. The ambiance was great for studying and reading, with clean floors, ample varied seating options, and energetic music. But the star of Parlor Doughnuts is the pastry itself. I mean wow. I wouldn't call myself a donut aficionado, so that made this experience even more surprising. The best donuts I've ever had! It's that simple. They have locations across the country for a reason they are amazing. The menu is absolutely huge and all the flavors sounded delicious. We got a dozen of the ones we though sounded the best. The workers are incredible, they walked us through any flavors we had questions about and they said they would make any flavors that we saw even if they were sold out. I can't event begin to talk about how great each flavor was but the range we got was amazing I really did enjoy everyone I had but the blueberry may be the best perfectly sweet with a blueberry undertone. First day we tried to go here they were unexpectedly closed for remodeling. NP. We came back the next day. They do spend a lot of attention on their aesthetic including donut boxes, Parlor gear to purchase, and the nice new patio furniture. We came here bc they have gluten free donuts to meet our dietary needs (dds have celiac). They can make you a GF donut in any of the flavors offered that day. What this means is that all of the donuts themselves are the same and they put a different glaze / topping on them. We tried the strawberry shortcake, French toast, and coconut. The GF donuts are much smaller (and a bit more expensive) than the regular donuts. They are a cake donut (maybe baked, not fried) and are very crumbly. The donuts are so good here. They're big and I would recommend 100%. The service was good and the cafe overall was really cute. However, the avocado toast was expensive but didn't come with much. What a poor excuse for a business! First attempt to try these donuts I was with my friend and her young son. The woman in front of us bought Every donut and no one said maybe we should leave one for the child who has been waiting for one! Second attempt, by 10am they are out of donuts. I don't know much about smoking crack but I have to think this is the equivalent in donut form! All kidding aside, this place is amazing. They are currently in an Airstream trailer but in the process of building a storefront right behind it. Sadly I think they are closing the end of September and opening back up again in January 2021. Back to the 'crack'...they are unique, flavorful, delicious, and have so many flavors to choose from. These are not your average size either, so don't let the price upset you. They are a meal in itself. I had the honey glazed and it was like no other glazed donut I've had before. It was covered in cinnamon sugar and then the glaze was lightly poured over a small portion of the top. I should have taken a picture, but it was gone in seconds (don't judge me)! I also had some of their amazing coffee, which is roasted on-site. No skimping with anything here. Sadly, I am a local, and I am going to miss them terribly while they're closed. Happened on this adorable doughnut "shop". It is a airstream trailer full of delights. They have 22 flavors of donuts that are basically crossiant donuts at the time of this review plus keto, vegan and gluten free choices as well. Let's not forget the mini sized guys also. There is hot coffee, iced coffees, fresh pressed juices and lattes. There is parking beside the trailer. This was a sweet little find and if your foodies or just folks who like to try something new-then swing through. We thought it was all in Destin but it seems Fort Walton might just have what your looking for. Around the corner from these guys is a few other food trucks that have some other options.
