Decided to try a doordash of pizza after hearing good reviews and the pizza was not very good (can think of many more options in town that are much better) and over cooked (black crust). This was our first time dining here with our entire family. Our waitress, was friendly.. We had a 5 o'clock reservation so it was not busy at the time . I get it if you forget something, but my husband was drinking Coke and the refill came as a Diet Coke. We ordered the sourdough bread . It came with balsamic and olive oil, and we ordered another batch and asked if we could order a plain bread-specifically with no oil or butter or balsamic -just dry . It came to the table again with olive oil and when I mentioned it to the waitress ,she said it doesn't have butter or balsamic. She did not offer to make it righteven though we paid for three orders . It sat on the table u touched, but it was in the bill. My husband ordered the Parmesan chicken and she suggested to try the Bolognese sauce and so we ordered that . She brought the Bolognese sauce after we finished eating and all the plates were cleared . His food arrived 20 minutes after we all received our food so he waited a long time to even start eating . It was obvious that they forgot his dish . He didn't say anything about the Bolognese, but it was a little surprising that she brought it over to the table, even after the table was cleared . Someone else ordered a Coke, but they never received it and had to ask a few times . We ordered three pizzas and they were so dry and barely had any marinara sauce and they were burnt on the edges . Even though the waitress was friendly, just the overall experience with a $400 bill we will not be returning again. We were looking forward to it as our friends suggested this place, and they agreed and were surprised at how the service was flowing also. I was surprised that we ordered the bread and had to pay for it, but she didn't offer to make it right and just kind of looked at us like oh well like we were annoying her. When you use the word dry and plain -bring the bread plain, it doesn't get any clearer than that. Just a bummer dining experience. read more

Is it loud? Yes. Is parking a challenge? For sure. Would I go back to Parlor? Absolutely! Why? The food and the service. This is my fourth time at Parlor and the two constants are the consistent quality and execution of their menu and how well trained their staff is. This time around our party just had entrees: pulled chicken salad (ask for extra dressing on the side), tagliatelle with a pork/beef ragout and chicken parmesan with a side of pasta. All the entrees were well executed and quite tasty. Our server, Brynn, was outstanding, always attentive, warm and friendly but never intrusive, which has been my experience with all the servers every time I've come. The seating was immediate as we had a reservation. The service was outstanding. The chicken Parmesan with fettuccine noodles was the best we have ever had! The arugula salad - we highly recommend. I was so looking forward to this place as I am a big fan of Bloom, another restaurant from this group. Sadly, it was a complete miss. Ambiance is good if you have a booth and the outside space is nice. Took a long time to get a glass of wine. Started with sourdough bread and Arancini appetizer. Bread was good, arancini had absolutely no flavor. Pumpkin didn't add anything- perhaps not enough cheese? Who knows- not good. We ordered the chicken parm and the bolognese. The meat in the bolognese was sparse and, what was there, was dry. The chicken was even dryer. The flavor/sauce in both dishes was very bland- neither of us wanted to finish our meal. A lot of pizza was coming out so maybe that is the draw here. IF we decide to try again we will try that. read more

A couple weeks late to this review but we had the best night here. My wife and I made a reservation here the night before our wedding for us and the wedding party to enjoy dinner. Earlier in the afternoon, we get a call offering us their private speakeasy room downstairs because it went unvented for the night. We were beyond grateful and it will forever be a highlight of our wedding weekend. The food was great, drinks were great, service was great, and the vibe was great. The owner came down to check on us and make sure we were all covered. I could keep going but there's not enough space to go into full detail. Would absolutely recommend this place. We tried the Parlor for the first time. The place was packed which we were glad to see. We tried the rotisserie chicken which was excellent. Great flavor very tender with very good veggies and finger potatoes. We tried the Margarita pizza which was bad. No flavor very dry extra wide crust. Very disappointing for a wood fire pizza. I would truly stay away from the pizzas here. The people next to us were disappointed with their pizza as well. The Caesar salad advertised shaven Parmesan with was nonexistent. The dressing had good flavor though. The Pasta Bolognese was off the charts excellent. Hand made pasta and rich flavor plated beautifully. Our server was very attentive in the beginning and then no where to be found when he forgot to bring items back to the table. And missing from that point further. We were a party of 14 celebrating a birthday. We made a reservation but stood outside for 15 minutes because our table wasn't ready. It took at least 15 minutes to put in our drink order and another half hour to order food. Maybe a half hour later the food started coming out. Most of our party was finished eating by the time we got our pizza. We had to drain the grease off of the pepperoni and eat around the burnt crust. The taste was only ok. The birthday girl had the pulled pork salad and said it was so bad she couldn't eat it. Another person had the cheese pizza and she was very disappointed. No complaints on the parm chicken or prime rib. Also my draft beer was chilled, not very cold and that is important to me. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Neighborhood gem!! Our family went to Parlor on a very busy Friday evening (8/15) and the atmosphere was lively, cozy and not to loud - perfect for our group with a baby and also for a fun date night out. The meatballs with sourdough appetizers were an excellent and our pizza and salad were delicious! We ordered the ice cream sundae for dessert which was also wonderful! We had a fantastic evening but what will bring us back was the service!! From the moment we were greeted at the door to our the excellent services we received we felt welcome and valued. We sat at the bar and the bar tender was super nice and very helpful while we explored the menu along with explaining the nightly special. Well, I gave Parlor another go to see if my last visit was a fluke. I'm happy to say that it was. My girlfriend and I were greeted warmly by the manager and seated quickly in a quaint corner window booth. The waiter (Zach) was exceptional and we will request him on our next visit. So now about the Pizza. That's why we came back after all. The first time they ran out of dough, but not this time. We got two pizzas (the mushroom and the "all meat"). I'm happy to say they were both outstanding. Zach recommended some hot honey which added another layer of flavor to an already scrumptious pizza. The crust was just thin enough and crispy enough (a little char on the edges) and it held up nicely to all the yummy ingredients on top. I have to say, usually an all meat pizza always wins the pizza war with me but this time, the truffle roasted mushroom pizza won the battle and stole the show for me. I want to thank Joe (manager) and Zach for making our 2nd experience at Parlor so memorable. We are fans and we WILL be back. Next time the Porchetta is on my radar. Get ready !!! read more

We went on opening night and had an all around top notch experience. The Tagliatelle Bolognese was incredible and rivaled the best we had on our recent travels to Bologna. The Fennel Sausage pizza was very tasty with a light and crispy crust and just the right amount of chewiness. And the Crispy Chicken Parmesan was delicious; the chicken was moist yet crispy on the outside and came with a generous portion of parmesan and delectable smoked mozzarella cheese served aside perfectly al dente hand cut fettuccine. The ambiance and decor were both welcoming and sophisticated, and we thoroughly enjoyed the layout and contemporary comfortability of the outside patio. Staff was attentive and friendly, our water glasses were always full, napkins were re-folded when we went to the restroom, our food came out quickly and the ideal temperature, and drinks were generous in size and thoughtfully crafted.
