We went here because this place was on a list of places every FW native should know. Well, we knew about it, we had just never been, so we found ourselves on the Westside around lunchtime and decided to check it off the list. Folks.... it's like a time machine in here. We walked out of the heat and bright sunlight of a Texas summer straight into the mid-1980's. It's cool and dark and has the same decor it's probably had since the beginning of time. I will say that everything was clean - there was as no dust on the 30 year old mirrors/signs,etc. and the booths and floors were clean as well. The wallpaper on the ceiling is a hoot and the juke box played a selection ranging from Johnny Cash to Culture Club. Ok. Food. The lunch buffet was $10 each (I was sort of expecting cheaper to be honest) & included pizza, tater tots (??), a decent salad bar (uh - there's chocolate pudding), and drink. The only thing missing is red jello. The pizza is thin crust and for the most part, had a good amount of toppings. They took requests and would yell out when a fresh pizza came out. There were times when there was only a few slices available, but they got more out pretty quickly. All in all, it's kind of a fun throwback and would be cool to show your kids how 'it used to be'. Family run pizza joint open since the 60's. Located in a non descriptive dated strip mall it looks unimpressive from the outside. Inside is bustling with a salad bar and all you can eat cracker crust pizza for $9.99. Salad bar consists of greens, olives , cheeses' ham,etc. Pizzas come quick with the crowd. Wide variety from cheese to supreme. You can request toppings. There was a jalapeño pizza, bacon cheeseburger, cheese and olives, pepperoni sausage, Hawaiian and other flavors while I visited. Like going into a portal to 1995, Parton's Pizza is what a Pizza Hut wishes it still was. Anybody familiar with Round Table from the West Coast will be at home here. It is as pizza den as you can get. (But not quite college pizza hole in the wall. It's a family restaurant.) Marvel Vs. Capcom is about the most recent arcade game here. That should tell you something. The crew is smaller and mostly family. (The original owners passed away, the most recent one was Mrs. Parton herself. Regardless, her lineage and restaurant live on.) When you get buffet they'll ask you for any requests. Typically it'll be out in seven minutes, but time varies with congestion. The food is out of sight! It's artesian thin crust pizza with crispy ends and not doughy. Most pizzas here are pepperoni combinations with jalapeño, hamburger, and Canadian bacon variations being the most common. I myself get the bacon, tomato slices with ranch. It's savory and a lot like Alfredo with tomato in it. The minute it comes out, the bar gets mobbed. So I'm doing something right. They also have a salad bar, tater tots, and chocolate chip cookies. But the main attraction is the pizza. Usually, Parton's keeps at least four trays going, but when the place is loaded up it can be hard to get pizza that you want. Every time I'm there there's at least thirty people. The place is popular. Speaking of which, this place is a notorious cop hot spot. Expect to see FW police in here during lunch time. Also, lots of equestrians. For less than $12 you cannot go wrong. Anybody who wants an eye-opener go here, and then go to a CiCi's Pizza the next day. It'll change your life. read more

Absolutely terrible. Pizza on buffet was cold and old. Worst pizza buffet ever. Service was terrible too. I did like the old school Pizza Inn feel and the red Pizza Hut cups were cool too. Tater tots were good but we waited for the staff to replenish them and they never did. I asked for a fresh cheese pizza but it never came out either. I would not recommend this place. 1 star for me and that's being generous. read more

The absolute best thin crust pizza around . Great toppings and a great price for a buffet ... so the buffet thing right now is odd .. they make you put on these huge disposable gloves and a fresh pair of tongs to get your food - but the table was kept cleaned and stocked with all the salad stuff and all the pizza stuff . They finally have invested in their restaurant and have created more space. My coworkers & I always come here and we're forced to sit next to people in order to eat. Very awkward as they were super friendly and commenting on how many plates I had. Now they have renovated its spacious , the pizza is made per their customers requests . Great spot to jump in and grab some pizza off the buffet when you are in a rush. If it's drill weekend from the local military base you will see this place packed with folks in uniform! I was very excited to try this Pizza, as I had heard how good it was. We have been looking for a new Pizza place to call our "Favorite" for quite some time, but since COVID we really haven't been out. I could hardly wait, I called in our order and chose the Bacon & Tomato as recommended and then a Meat Lovers. We were told our pizza would be ready for pick up in 20mins, so we got in our truck and headed that way. We arrived soon after the 20mins was up, paid for our pizza and headed home. We were both starved and our mouths were watering as I pulled out a cold Diet Coke and my husband grabbed a cold beer. We opened the boxes and each took 2 slices of the Tomato & Bacon and my husband added a slice of the Meat Lovers to his plate. Anxiously we sat down and bit into our pizza, it was Cold, Dry, Hard, Hardly any cheese, barely any sauce! IT WAS HORRIBLE! I was sooo disappointed! I wanted to call right away and tell them how bad their pizza was, but my husband calmed me down and said, we will never eat there again, so what will your call accomplish? So I decided to write this review instead. It was almost like they had baked these 2 pizzas as back up for their lunch rush for their all you can eat pizza bar, but when no one came for that, they boxed them up and gave them to us 5 hours later. The couple we were dining with confirmed this, and added that decorations change with the holidays. Even the ceiling tiles are adorned with 70's era wall paper. The cheese and toppings are delicious. It's thin crust, but it's still pretty good. They don't have the broad array that CiCI's has (example: no spinach, but they can still whip you up an Alfredo pizza). I'm told it can get pretty tight during lunch. There's a salad bar in the back. I saw my friend walk back to the table with a bowl and I asked (with thinly veiled excitement) "They have ice cream?" "They have pudding." "No ice cream?" "They have pudding." Everyone looooved that bacon tomato Alfredo pizza tho. I think Mama's Pizza has a better buffet, and conversely, so does CiCi's after you factor in the price difference. This place has better cheese tho, IMHO. read more

I love the old school decor! The ceiling is my favorite. The pizza is better, dazzling even. Thin, crispy crust with the perfect amount of sauce and lots of cheese. Perhaps too much cheese. That being said, DO NOT EAT THIS PIZZA COLD OFF THE BUFFET. It needs to be hot or the crust gets chewy! Chewy is not dazzling.
