This is a great place for healthy choices. While it is a bit on the pricier side, the portion sizes are generous. I miss the lentil rice and would appreciate more veggies as their options; however, the quality of the meats and current selections are still good and usually very fresh! I visit this location pretty often because the staff is friendly and always greets me with a smile. The atmosphere is quiet, and they play good music.

This was my first time at this establishment. I had craving for Cava but didn't want to drive ~30 mins so Pasha was perfect. Employees were friendly, interior was clean and everything looked fresh. I chose the braised lamb which tasted great and I was happy with the overall experience. Portion size was pretty good for the price. Certainly will be returning when I'm in the mood for Mediterranean and I'm in the area.

Dolmas- menu board is wrong, it says 4.99 for 2. We got all 4 for 4 dollars.

Okay the service here is top tier for a "chipotle" type ordering experience. Specifically because of this amazing gentleman who helped us yesterday (Tuesday around 4 45 pm) he was so kind and patient. However, the food was pretty disappointing. The dolmas, as huge and flavorful as they were, were so dry. The Naan bread was rock hard (but they were more than happy to swap it out for us). My bowl was very flavorful- but the rice was cold and chicken was dry and cold. It was hard to enjoy. Nothing was fresh. This all goes to say. Don't go between 2 pm to 5 pm As we were leaving, the line was freshly restocked with fresh steaming hot food. They put on nice music. But if you get there before then, you get what's been sitting out. Ambience is decent for a casual spot, we tried sittinh there yedterday instead of just taking it to go. But I'd just take it to go so I can heat up my food next time. Still 3 stars because the times I go when everything is fresh are what I kept in mind and that team member was nice.

Traffic from hell, but I was determined to get my Pasha fix. Turns out, my desire for rice with my wrap was a bridge too far. Who knew? Apparently, it's a forbidden combination, even if you're willing to pay. I have had this in the past. The manager's "no rice" lecture definitely took the edge off my Mediterranean craving (in a bad way). I am now concerned that I got the server in trouble. Pasha Express, it is my wrap. It just rice.

First time trying this place! Ordered online got two entree bowl and a side of falafel. The meat (gyro and chicken shawarma) was well seasoned! Loved how there's a lot of healthy options to fill your bowl! 15.99 might not be worth it for someone how's not a fan of veggies/toppings. The falafel was a bit hard for me, my son had hard time biting it. Would still come back for quick healthy option to-go mediterranean food!

We have never tried Mediterranean food before so I ordered 2 Entree Bowl x's 2 @ $13.99 each plus extra's since we were visiting and not sure if or when we would get a chance again. AND For Take out/Delivery everything was Really good, fresh, and rememberable!! Favorite meat was Gyro Beef and Chicken Shawarma where my least favorite but still good Chicken Kabobs a bit dry but good flavors Falafel was ok but dipped in Pasha Dressing (golden Italian) even better Basmati and Turmeric Rice were Tasty, cooked perfectly, good mouth feel to them You get to pick 5 veggies per bowl and there were Plenty (around 15+) to pick from including Tabbouleh Salad, Chickpea Salad and feta cheese Tzatziki-Hummus-Garlic Aioli Pasha Dressing (golden Italian) Walnut Baklava - flakey not soggy but deliciously honey oh so sweet Ok I think I touched on most of it. Yes I will go back and get it again!!

I decided to order from Pasha Express as my favorite restaurant for take home food is closed on Sundays. I downloaded the ChowNow App to my phone and made my selections for a wrap. We are seniors, so we often share an entree. We both like the gyro wrap with a variety of veggies added. In the app, a side item is listed as Required, so we chose fries. when I goot to the restaurant, I let them know I was picking up a to-go order and gave my name. They handed me a bag and I started out the door, then realized the fries were not in the bag. when I asked for the fries, I was rude told the owner removed the fries from a promo that ended yesterday. If a business is going to offer something in their app, they are obliged to give it until they fix their app. If I knew it wasn't included when I ordered, I would've gladly paid for the fries, but who Would know to order the fries separately when it's required in the app. I didn't even get an apology from the employees about the order. I won't be going back to Pasha Express.

Not the best, but not the worst either. This location only offers buildable bowls and wraps. To start, you pick a base of basmati rice, cranberry rice, biryani rice, or mixed greens. Entree choices include: gyro, falafel, chicken shawarma, fried cauliflower, beef shawarma (+$2), chicken kabob ($2). You can choose either one or two entrees for the bowl, while the wrap comes with one entree. Then, you pick additional toppings: beets, chickpea salad, feta cheese, kalamata olives, lentils, mixed leafy greens, onions, pepperoncini, pickles, shirazi salad, taboulleh salad, tomato. Finally, finish your bowl or wrap with a sauce: tzatziki, hummus, smoked eggplant, spicy hummus, pasha bbq, garlic aioli. The entree bowls also come with your choice of pasha chips or naan. I got a one-entree bowl with biryani rice, gyro, beets, chickpea salad, lentils, pepperoncini, shirazi salad, taboulleh salad, and smoked eggplant sauce. The flavors of the bowl were good, but the ingredients did not taste the freshest. The biryani rice tasted old and dried out. There was a generous amount of gyro, but it was also a bit dried out. The smoked eggplant sauce had a nice consistency but tasted more burnt than smoked. The naan that comes with the bowl was fluffy but far from authentic. I also got the walnut baklava ($3.99), which had a nice filling and sweetness. However, the phylo layers were stale and did not have the lightness or flakiness a typical baklava has. For a fast food type restaurant, the baklava tasted better than I expected. It is a bit pricey for the size (about a 4" x 4" square). At their current price point ($9.99 one-entree bowl, $12.99 two-entree bowl) and quality, I will not likely return to this location of Pasha. I would want to try the food from their other locations that aren't "express" to see if the food quality is better there.

This is a really good spot to catch a quick bite to eat. The food smells amazing and the staff is friendly. They make sure you get what you need and get it hot. It's kind of a "make it in front of you" type set up so you know they are being sanitary. If you don't want to take out, but you are still not quite comfy with dine-in either, they have a great patio spot with a few tables outside. It's right on the edge of the parking lot tho so you have to be ok with the cars going by and in and out. Nice clean restaurant with great prices and friendly service. Doesn't get much better than that!

I ordered an entree bowl with a base of cranberry rice and falafel for protein. Service was fine. They have a nice shaded outdoor area to sit and eat. The bowl was comparatively smaller than bowls I've ordered from similar places for the same price. The variety of toppings was nice but I would have liked more of each. Specifically, more than 3 slices of cucumber. Also, the cranberry rice was unexpectedly under seasoned.

Good food and healthy options with mildly exotic flavors to make you feel transported to another part of the world for a lil bit. Love all the options and free add in's when building my bowl. Today, I enjoyed a Chicken Shawarma bowl with biryani rice and fresh additions of garlic sauce (I can't NEVER get enough of this delight), hummus, tzatziki cucumber dip, baba ganoush, cucumber salad, tabouleh salad, feta. I'm in heaven! The only thing that didn't taste fantastic was the baba ganoush (smoky eggplant dip). It was a little too thin and sour for my taste. But believe me, I ate it. Lol! Prisoners don't get left behind on my watch. Er... I mean, my plate. The staff is also quick, efficient and friendly. The manager came over to check on me whilst I gobbled up my lunch. I asked the cashier about a rewards program and he explained that they do have one and while he rang me up, the register asked me to input my phone number. As soon as I sat down, I received a test message from Pasha's reward program to register. Awesome! I love getting rewarded for my loyalty and business! Go check it out! This location on Culebra never disappoints. Now, let's hope their baklava is as delightful as it looks! Saving it for dessert later at home!

I do not recommend especially not during these Covid 19 times. The quality has completely diminished. The gyro meat was super dry and tasted old. The rice was stale and the lettuce tasted weird. I previously visited prior to the pandemic and it was decent at best and not it's just a place that needs to revise the quality of ingredients that are put on the line. I wasted $11 on something I couldn't eat. read more

The food is good, considering it's "fast food" Mediterranean. The quality of food has gone down a little since pre-Covid. For example, their naan used to be my favorite side because it was rolled and made fresh, but now it seems that they used pre-made bread and just heat it up. read more

I was happy with my meal. The food was fresh and plentiful. Good value. The only disappointment was the bread. It is not the same bread that is served in their other restaurants. It tasted store bought. If naan is not your thing, then the rest of the food was excellent. I have no complaints about the staff. They were attentive but not overly so. read more

What can I say, WoW! Pasha was voted both the best Mediterranean and Best gyro in San Antonio and let me tell you that it did not disappoint! We went to the Culebra/1604 location. Upon walking in we were greeted by the most friendly and professional staff. This was our first visit, and the gentleman at the counter took his time explaining and providing insights into the different proteins (gyro, chicken shawarma and falafel), salads and dressings along with how we could mix and match our foods. Everything was fresh, tasty and balanced. They also have a variety of desserts (which we'll try next time). The servings were plentiful. The sweet Rose tea was yummy! The naan was great. We could not finish our food and had plenty of delicious left overs. I cannot wait until our next return. This is a must try place, if in the area give it a chance! read more

Totally stumbled on this location by chance last night. Parked in front of it just to meet someone to purchase Six Flags Fiesta Texas tickets. Looked up Yelp reviews to find that it was well recognized by the Yelp community. My first impression before I looked it up on Yelp was that it was going to have bad reviews and be an underwhelming concept because it was Express Mediterranean food. We walked in as a family and were actually blown away. The server told us that they had a promotion where kids eat free after 5 PM, without me 3ven mentioning anything. The portions are huge, even for kids, and the quality of the food was great as well. We got a kids bowl for each of our 3 oldest kids and my wife and I shared an adult bowl and we had enough leftovers for another full meal for our family. Three individual servers helped us and asked us how they could make our first experience better, helped us order, and were incredibly courteous. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. read more

I'm an RN. I work long hours, I just want to try this place because I'm half middle eastern and I miss having home food. I get here at 9, the sign says open till 9:30. The owner doesn't care, he's locked the door and is closed for the night. The excuse is that these are their "Covid" hours. Covid has been happening for a year and a half now, NATE. Post your true hours of operation already. This is not how you win customers. Guess I'll be going to the "other" middle eastern place next time. read more

Yummy Mediterranean food in a casual atmosphere. If you are a fan of Pasha you should check out Pasha express! You can make your own bowl or wrap with your choice of toppings and protein. I tried the gyro wrap and fries and it was delicious! I highly recommend checking it out. They have fast and efficient service at economical prices too! read more

What a wonderful lunch to accompany a reunion with me dear friend. We worked together in the service industry 25plus years ago. So, we have high expectations and all of our expectations were exceeded! From the moment we walked in we were met with positive energy and smiles. The food is excellent and fresh(really fresh). Ordered out today after a long ass day at work. I absolutely love Pasha. Let me clarify I love the ACTUAL Pasha, the express leaves much to be desired. I have eaten here a few times because it's close and I can kinda get my cravings satisfied. More than once I was left unhappy that I even bothered. This time was no different as they forgot my tea, there was a hair in my rice bowl, and the overall quality just plain sucked. Go to the original Pasha and you won't be disappointed! read more

My wife and I are fairly new to San Antonio and when we arrived we noticed how high the reviews were for Pasha. My wife hasn't been exposed to Mediterranean food as much as I have so it took me a little bit of time to convince her to go but she is happy she tried it. In our last 3 months here this has been one of our regular places and I'm sad that it took me this long to write a review. I suppose it's not as sexy of a place as some but it's our o'reliable. We know that if we're not craving something and need dinner, we will always leave Pasha happy. Their chicken shawarma is delicious and I always get myself a wrap for there and I get a rice bowl bowl with the same chicken for my lunch the next day. Also, the guy that always works the register is always extremely nice. We love this place. read more

I ordered a salad which was. A great deal for $5.00 and decided to add gyro as my protein. Unfortunately, the meat made me drop this down a star. It was more like gyro jerky, absolutely inedible, drier than Popeyes biscuits. I'm really bummed because their food is usually on point. The rose tea also had lemon in it and that's the first time I've ever had it I like that from Pasha, it's usually lemon free and taste 100% better without it. However, the service is awesome and my salad was great. I will go back because I'm a total fan, just disappointed that one of their staples was served so terrible. read more

Ordered Pasha through Uber. Asked for a family meal with extra naan. Did not get much meat...mostly tomatoes and onions and delicious pickles. Don't know if I got extra naan. Did not get hummus. Expensive at $75. Expected more. read more

LOOOOOVED THIS PLACE!!! This place is so good! They have so many options to make your own meal or prepped ones. Honestly anything you get from here is good! The employees are so helpful they can make recommendations. They also have desserts that I haven't tried yet but I will one of these days lol read more

A perfect Family Meal ready to satisfy any famished spirit delivered by a friendly face at a quick and convenient Curbside Pick-up (which started in light of this COVID-19 O_O) The salad was fresh, the chicken and gyro meat were very savory, and the warm bread was very tasty. The dipping sauces were a perfect compliment to the chicken and gyro meat. Pasha express was just as good as Pasha, but made for efficient and quick service. Don't forget to add some baklava! read more

Ordered to go for the first time. I asked for the food to be ready at 715. At 657 I received a text saying it was ready. I didn't go pick it up until 724 and the food wasn't ready. Seriously?!?! You're an express restaurant, how hard is it to make three falafels, a salad with chicken and hummus and naan? Sorry, I love you guys, but I had to call you out on this one. Now to the food. The pasha salad with added chicken was perfect. They are not skimpy on any of the ingredients. The chicken did seem a little dry, but the dressing from the salad helped. The hummus was well hummus. Great flavor and they give you a good portion. The naan was extra small for what I usually expect from Pasha's. Maybe that's the size of the to go naan. The falafels were a little mushy in the middle. I've had falafel from the original pasha's and it had never been so mushy. Now, it seems like I'm just complaining about everything, but Pasha's has always been great and I expected the same from their express location. I plan to try them one more time and I will update my review when I do. read more

The food its self was good. However, I asked for falafel & they didn't give it to me. I got a bowl, paid for the food. Drove away & when I got home it wasn't there. I went closer to closing time (like 1hr before) so I'm assuming they were trying to just move on, but this place was recommended to me by several people & the establishment was empty so there really wasn't a reason to "forget'... will try to check this place out again in the future & hopefully they give me all the food. read more

Getting sick and tired of Pasha not getting my online order right. Each and every time I order food through Uber Eats or Doordash my order is either wrong or incomplete. I ask for Beef Shawarma and I get Gyros. I ask for fries and they are either not there or ice cold. Ask for extra sauce... what extra sauce?!?! Out of hope of a good order I keep trying cause I do like their food, but the service is terrible. read more

Delicious, authentic and fresh! You can have a hearty bowl or wrap or lighten it up with a GOOD salad. Reasonably priced and quick. The online order is simple and great to have a quick run up but ordering there is fast and like a Chipotle-line. Can't wait to try their Grill restaurant. read more

UPDATE: I cannot say enough good things about this place. It's been over a year since I've been coming here and the quality and portions have remained the same. What's most impressive is how friendly all the workers are. I was on a date here and after two hours of talking, one of the workers came up to us and said, "It looks like you guys are having a great time, I'd like to help you guys continue to have a great time so here are some Baklava on the house. Food was pretty good but seemed overpriced for what was given. $12 for a very basic small salad, rubbery chewy bread with no flavor, two tiny pieces of decent chicken on a giant bed of meh rice. It wasn't bad, just felt worth about 2/3 the price that was charged. Not that it was bad, but considering you can almost get two chipotle bowls for that same cost, I likely won't be back. Either quality / portions need to improve or price needs to decrease. read more

Doesn't look like much when you pass by but I was dying for hunger and wanted something good. I got the regular Gyro and WOW.... there are no words. A classic Gyro with lamb (cheese, onions, lettuce, shirazi salad and tzatzki sauce). You won't be disappointed read more

As a result sounds inside magnify to a point our servers have had to bend over or take a knee to gather clients food orders during busy times. I feel like I am ar a big Spurs game with the sound bouncing around. Those at our table have had a hard time to have a conversation with each other at times. The small room up front is designed so sound bouncing off hard surfaces is worst in this room. I have had to ask to be relocated twice from this room due the sound level. The kitchen area in the front do not have doors to abd from the kitcgen to the dinibg rooms. Another design flaw, as a result the seating areas loud sound comes into the kitchen area. I can not imagine how the staff communicate to each other in this work setting.

I am a regular here during the week when Im at work. The staff are always friendly and helpful in recommending different foods to try. I came on a Saturday with my daughters (8 and 11) who have never tried Mediterranean food and can sometimes be picky. They LOVED IT. But they also loved the staff. Paige, Dylan, Maddy and the manager Frederick impressed them so much that daughter wanted to leave them a tip. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our meal. My girls also said they want to come back because this is now their favorite place. This place makes family eating time such a pleasure. We'd give more stars if we could. read more
