Went there for brunch on Labor Day and they were busy but luckily, we didn't have to wait!…read more Here's what we ordered: Belgium Waffle Combo: 5/5 I love that they had turkey bacon as an option since I wanted something healthier. The waffle was also sweet and soft. I actually had it at the end of the meal since I ate the eggs and turkey bacon first and even then, the waffle was still fluffy, not dry and simply hit the spot. So good!!!! Chai tea latte: 5/5 Matcha: 3/5 not so great, I wouldn't recommend Service: 10/5 everyone was so nice and our water was getting refilled instantly, even when they were extremely busy. The waffle combo and service made our experience 10x better, it was such a joy having brunch there. I'd definitely come back and try other items!

I found Bluey's Cafe because I asked ChatGPT for a great breakfast spot with reasonable prices…read moreafter picking up a friend from LAX. I figured I'd give the recommendation a try, and I'm so glad I did. From the outside, it's in a pretty nondescript industrial area, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But once you walk in, it feels like you've discovered a hidden neighborhood gem. The café has a relaxed, beachy vibe with a cozy, homey atmosphere. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor tables, and I noticed a lot of people enjoying breakfast, catching up with friends, or working on their laptops. I ordered the American breakfast with eggs, kale salad, sourdough toast with butter and jam, avocado, and tomatoes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I also had a black coffee and one of their Bluey's coconut waters, which was a nice addition to the meal. One thing I really appreciated was the location. Even though it's tucked away from the busy streets, there's plenty of parking, it's peaceful, and you don't feel rushed. It's the kind of place where you can actually relax and enjoy your meal. Overall, this was a 10 out of 10 experience. Great food, great atmosphere, easy parking, and a place I'd happily come back to. If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast or brunch on the Westside, especially if you're coming from LAX, Bluey's Cafe is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended!

Everyone loves a good brunch spot, and there's many in LA. What I like about Bluey's is their…read morespecialty squash pancakes. They also seem more thoughtful with their offerings, as their menu items seem to offer more food within each entree itself, rather than having a very extensive list of entrees to choose from. Parking might be an issue, which is par for the course in LA. There's a good amount of seating but it's limited because it's a pretty popular brunch/breakfast spot. Service here was good, no complaints. What we got: - Sweet squash pancakes - these were so good and I love that my pancakes were drowning in granola and berries! Super aesthetic but also made the dish look pretty generous and big. Price was definitely a bit higher than what you get but not super unreasonable. - Blueys Breakfast - eggs, bacon, lil salad, and toast! what is there not to like? My friend certainly liked it I would totally come back for those squash pancakes. I also saw that the Mar Vista location serves dinner now too, and if they do dinner as well as they do breakfast/brunch? Well, you'll be seeing me soon!

It'll always be expensive though, but you're paying for solid food. At this location specifically in Brentwood, I haven't had any issues and the employees are always really friendly and super helpful, even during busy times. The price is always the downfall, but like with anything, you pay for what you want. My favorite is the miso glazed salmon!

Came for lunch one day, and we tried the brand new hot honey chicken plate that they just released and it was SO GOOD. I was not expecting it to be that fire but I highly recommend getting this while you can!! It doesn't really taste like hot honey at all; it's more like a fall harvest vibe because it has sweet potatoes and a quinoa and coleslaw situation. Regardless, it was so delicious and filling. I added spinach for extra green and I think it would be even better if you added broccoli too. Pretty expensive though ($18ish) which is sad but as expected from sweetgreen. They had plenty of outdoor seating at this location. The tables were pretty dirty but we wiped them down with napkins so it was fine.

It's consistently good and the service is always friendly and parking is always easy. Inside is pretty large with plenty of booth sitting as well as tables. Their menu is also pretty big and one of my favorite things is that they have a revolving specials board that seems to change fairly often. Pricing is fair and the portion sizes are large. Also, every time I stop in the food is ready extremely fast so it's a great option if you are ever in a rush. I've been for breakfast and lunch and one of my favorite breakfast options is the build your own omelette and I always choose chorizo and avocado, and then mix it up from there. For this most recent lunch visit, I tried one of their specials which was the green chili enchiladas and thought they were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and it's a great option for all ages as well.
