I figured I'd give the recommendation a try, and I'm so glad I did. From the outside, it's in a pretty nondescript industrial area, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But once you walk in, it feels like you've discovered a hidden neighborhood gem. The café has a relaxed, beachy vibe with a cozy, homey atmosphere. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor tables, and I noticed a lot of people enjoying breakfast, catching up with friends, or working on their laptops. I ordered the American breakfast with eggs, kale salad, sourdough toast with butter and jam, avocado, and tomatoes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I also had a black coffee and one of their Bluey's coconut waters, which was a nice addition to the meal. One thing I really appreciated was the location. Even though it's tucked away from the busy streets, there's plenty of parking, it's peaceful, and you don't feel rushed. It's the kind of place where you can actually relax and enjoy your meal. Overall, this was a 10 out of 10 experience. Great food, great atmosphere, easy parking, and a place I'd happily come back to. If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast or brunch on the Westside, especially if you're coming from LAX, Bluey's Cafe is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended!

It'll always be expensive though, but you're paying for solid food. At this location specifically in Brentwood, I haven't had any issues and the employees are always really friendly and super helpful, even during busy times. The price is always the downfall, but like with anything, you pay for what you want. My favorite is the miso glazed salmon!

Came for lunch one day, and we tried the brand new hot honey chicken plate that they just released and it was SO GOOD. I was not expecting it to be that fire but I highly recommend getting this while you can!! It doesn't really taste like hot honey at all; it's more like a fall harvest vibe because it has sweet potatoes and a quinoa and coleslaw situation. Regardless, it was so delicious and filling. I added spinach for extra green and I think it would be even better if you added broccoli too. Pretty expensive though ($18ish) which is sad but as expected from sweetgreen. They had plenty of outdoor seating at this location. The tables were pretty dirty but we wiped them down with napkins so it was fine.

It's consistently good and the service is always friendly and parking is always easy. Inside is pretty large with plenty of booth sitting as well as tables. Their menu is also pretty big and one of my favorite things is that they have a revolving specials board that seems to change fairly often. Pricing is fair and the portion sizes are large. Also, every time I stop in the food is ready extremely fast so it's a great option if you are ever in a rush. I've been for breakfast and lunch and one of my favorite breakfast options is the build your own omelette and I always choose chorizo and avocado, and then mix it up from there. For this most recent lunch visit, I tried one of their specials which was the green chili enchiladas and thought they were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and it's a great option for all ages as well.

Order and pay at the counter and find a table indoors or outside. One can come here for coffee. Free refills! You can ask for a cup ( their cups are glass), but the coffee doesn't stay warm long. If you plan on sitting there and don't mind a paper cup To Go, order your coffee in a To Go cup. Food: each time I have ordered food to eat there, it arrives promptly and presented beautifully. Their sandwiches are made with their house made bread! Delicious! Try to save room for one of their pastries or desserts. Tartine is an oasis to relax, unwind, catch up with friends, people watch. They have metal tables and chairs with loud speakers blasting music that echoes throughout the space. Add in loud crowds and kids dropping utensils, and it makes the whole environment pretty unpleasant. As for the food, we ordered the garlic knots, a croissant, the hanger steak, the peach and hot honey pizza, and the wood-fired vanilla bean pound cake for dessert. We covered a good amount of their key items. The main takeaway is that while everything is cooked well, but the dishes really lack flavor. I dine out to get flavors that are not easily made at home, and unfortunately, I did not find them here. The food lacks depth, and frankly, it needs salt to make it stand out. The pizza dough is actually really well prepped, easily as good as Pizzeria Sei, which is the best pizza place in LA, period. But again, it just lacks flavor. Also, as a small side note, there is a 4% employee health insurance surcharge added to the final bill. I probably just missed it listed on the menu somewhere, but oh well. Overall, it is a decent place, but I would not go out of my way to come back here.
