The owner was very ackwardly introducing himself to customers while disrespectfully speaking to the young lady working for him. The cook yelled out loud at the young lady in a manner that was very unprofessional and disrespectful. The food was very expensive and and just average tasting at best. The table next to us waited 55 minutes to get their pasta order. The pasta came in paper bowls and plastic utensils were all that were available. I read about Pastaphony this week on Nextdoor.com and was anxious to try it. As many others have posted the owner introduced himself and was so welcoming explaining that they use fresh pasta and his wife makes the sauces - "just like at home". There is a nice patio but I ordered the Fettuccine Truffle Cream with Spinach and Grilled Chicken and the Cheesy Garlic Bread to-go. found an eyelash extension in my food when i received it. i was mid eating it when i noticed it on my plate. keep in mind, i do not have eyelashes extensions installed and neither does anyone in my family. i'm actually so disgusted by it and couldn't even eat my food. Tried Pastaphony for the first time since hubby and I were undecided and to our surprise we found pasta that's open until late! So glad we stumbled upon this place because we're definitely coming back. First walking in we were welcomed by the owner who's very kind. We decided to create our own pastas and everything was fresh and delicious. We both got pasta with the arrabiatta and the blush sauce (my favorite) and were then introduced by the husband of the owner I believe. First time trying and went with my friend and we had an amazingly friendly experience! The owner immediately welcomed us, introduced himself, and took the time to show and explain the menu to us as it was our first time dining here. The food came out extremely fresh and honestly for it to be made by order, it came out pretty fast too! He said his wife makes the sauces and they were delicious! My friend got the fettuccine alfredo and I got the pink sauce with penne and grilled chicken and they were both yummy! I appreciated how flavorful the sauce was and the grilled chicken was juicy and tender and not dry like other places tend to be. Again, I can't say enough how nice the owner was but I think all his staff were because I saw his team check in on every table when I was just glancing around. Visit and support just for that. He checked in on us consistently and brought our food and drinks to the table for us (which I don't think he had to, it was just our first time coming so we weren't too sure how the process was) but he did and it was such a kind gesture. The cheesy garlic bread, can never go wrong. A more elevated version of Olive garden breadsticks, so delicious! Cesar salad was basic but not bad, I may try the other salad next. He then brought us some complimentary nutella bombs. (AGAIN, AMAZING SERVICE!) And these were surprisingly fantastic. They were fresh and soft and rich. Can't go wrong with a donut! They've only been open for a couple of months but I truly had a great experience and I hope it succeeds just because of how generous the owner is! Food was tasty and the service was impeccable! Pastaphony is a gem of a little eatery. When you walk up it would be easy to assume this is merely a fast food/take out place. Yes this is a place where you can order pasta to go but this is a place where you order and enjoy pasta worthy of any fine dining Italian restaurant. You can order a "build own" pasta dish choosing from the type of pastas, sauces, proteins, toppings and finishes or from a selection of house specialties. Our family of seven ordered seven different pasta dishes, some custom and some specialties and we passed them around so we could all taste variations. Each one was delicious. A favorite of all was the creamy pesto sauce and the custom Alfredo sauce but we would order all of them again. And we will return! What marks Pastaphony apart from most restaurants is the friendliness, hospitality and generosity of the tight knit group of people running Pastaphony. We were made to feel so welcome and treated like family from the moment we walked in. This is a wife/husband operation. The husband was so friendly and charming making sure we were comfortable and understood the menu. This is a small space and eating in can be a challenge for a group our size but we were quickly and graciously accommodated. There is patio dining but on a rainy night not an option. The kitchen is just feet from the front counter which was mere feet from our table. We could watch our meals prepared fresh and interact as with the chef/wife. She was warm, friendly and made sure we enjoyed our dishes. We all shook hands on the way out with smiles all around. I would love to come back on a pleasant evening and sit under the stars enjoying excellent pasta. A great option is to call ahead and pick up on the way home from work.
