Pastaphony has no business being this good. I got the fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken Parmesan on top because apparently I believe in carbs on carbs with a side of more carbs. Zero regrets. My son and I split the Caesar salad so we could pretend there was something healthy happening at the table, but with the amazing dressing and croutons it was so yummy. The pasta was creamy, the chicken Parmesan was cheesy and perfectly cooked, and everything tasted ridiculously fresh. What I don't understand is how you make food that tastes restaurant-quality but also like somebody's Italian grandma is in the back personally offended by the idea of you leaving hungry. It has that homemade comfort food taste that makes you immediately start planning what you're ordering next time while you're STILL eating. Yeah... Pastaphony officially became our favorite pasta spot. We will absolutely be back.

Went back to Pastaphony to try their dishes. Couldn't be happier. The owner was so kind. He greeted us at the door and offered to go over the menu with us. The chef also chimed in when we were deciding what to do for our order. The vibe is casual "choose your own" pasta adventure ordering at the counter and bringing it to your table out on the patio. The food however is a sit down restaurant quality. We ordered the cheese tortellini with garlic, basil and marinera sauce-YUM! But the STAR of the show was the cheese raviolis with the homemade pesto sauce and fresh cheese on top! DELISH!! We will go back for that!! Your meal arrives in a disposable bowl making it easy to take it home (IF you have any leftovers). I recommend bringing a friend or two so you can get a couple of dishes to try.

I don't hand out 5 stars often but if you get one, trust me it was well deserved. Homemade pasta is the business. Best service with the owner greeting you and remembering your name. N8ce vibes with music in the patio. The food is delicious.

The pasta here is simple yet soooo delicious!! I love the option of building your own pasta. Ordered the penne pasta with pink sauce. The pink sauce was divine, perfectly tomato-ey with a creamy texture. Service was great, he was super friendly and even shook our hands to welcome us in when we arrived! There's a parking lot close by and some street parking available.

PASTAPHONY @ FULLERTON The penne shrimp pasta was AMAZING, it was also a pretty big portion and super fresh! The owner and his family were super kind and friendly--he went over the entire menu with us since it was our first time! The outside area was great for a date night with ambient lighting and music. Overall 5/5 !! Will be coming back to support

Good to know: If there's ever an issue with your order, phone the business or talk to them because the owners are very friendly and willing to help. The food always tastes great here and it's freshly cooked pasta on the spot. You can view the staff cooking in the back and they have plenty of space to sit. Totally redeemed from my last experience here

The service is so good here and the portion size is HUGE. I love that you can customize your pasta and there's so many different options to choose from. The pasta was piping hot and tasted amazing. I thought the garlic bread was okay, but super garlicky! It does take a while for the pasta to come out when it's busy but it's definitely worth the wait. The outdoor seating area is such a vibe, especially since it's in the downtown Fullerton area.

came here at 10 pm and ordered the fettuccine chicken alfredo and penne pasta with shrimp and chicken cesar salad. food was delicious and the alfredo was the favorite! it had excellent thick sauce, good amount of chicken. the cesar salad was also pretty good. well dressed, seasoned, and event filled with chicken and croutons (not just on top). the penne pastas was good with the shrimp, sauce was flavorful and it came with decent amount of shrimp. can't complain. Family owned business and cashier is friendly and very helpful. definitely come support!

They are located in downtown Fullerton. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and he took us through the menu since it was our first visit. Unfortunately, there was no indoor seating, but they offered outdoor seating. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the portions were generous. Overall, we had an okay experience. I'd go back to try other items on the menu.

Build your own: Fettuccine Alfredo 6/10 lacks flavor (I had ordered it with garlic, parm, & spinach and it didn't have any of the extras)

Placed order via uber eats delivery *Received free Nutella bombs with my order. If you're a fan of Nutella, you'll love these. I can't rate these fairly bcuz I don't care for Nutella, so I wasn't a fan. *Build your own pasta: fettuccine with Alfredo sauce. Lacked flavor 6/10 (I had ordered extras: parm, garlic, spinach... which I didn't receive & I feel they would have gave it more flavor and would have made it tastier overall) *signature pasta: Fettuccine truffle mushroom 8/10 way tastier and had good flavor. Would get this again *side note: When reheating the leftovers (over the stove top) I did add a splash of milk and some garlic powder & and it did give it more flavor (fettuccine Alfredo) Overall I would go back for those days that you are craving pasta

This place takes fresh pasta to an absolute art form. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between vibrant and cozy we were greeted by the owner who was very kind and walked us through the menu. Every single pasta dish on the menu that we ordered tasted like it was rolled daily in-house, and you can truly taste the quality. The Fettuccine Truffle mushroom is rich and creamy it makes you coming back for another forkful. We also tried the Spaghetti chicken parmesan with unbelievable depth of flavor, the cheesy garlic bread was scrumptious! I love that it was cheesy! and for dessert we had the Tiramisu a classic Italian dessert with, now we found our favorite pasta place number 1 on out list

Part of me almost hesitated to leave a review because it feels like one of those hidden gems you want to keep to yourself but they absolutely deserve the recognition. The food tastes genuinely homemade: rich sauces, flavorful dishes, and pasta cooked perfectly. Nothing about it feels mass-produced or overly commercial. If you're expecting chain-restaurant Italian, this is in a completely different lane. One thing I really liked was the build-your-own pasta option being able to customize exactly what you want is such a win. Portions were generous, everything came out fresh, and you can tell care goes into the food.

Well, fast forward to this year...and HE was the one who suggested we finally give it a try! We are SO glad we listened to him! The pizza here reminds me of the kind of pizza I would eat in Italy. Everything so flavorful and hit all the right taste buds. We are coming back to try the mozzarella sticks and pizza with our kids Probably one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had both on service and food taste

Margarita pizza: So good, the marina sauce was rich, flavorful and light on the pizza. Cheese was light and gooey to the touch. The crust didn't fall down. Calamari: Breading was crispy and light in batter. Calamari was more bouncy than soft. Tip: If you want to dine indoors around 5-6 PM there is option to sign yourself up on the yelp waitlist on your phone before arriving here. However wait time to get seated took about 10 mins tops. I think if you want to sit in the outdoor patio you might need to call in for a reservation.

We were a group of 13ppl for lunch last Sunday, to celebrate my son's birthday. At first the…read moreservice was really great, they were attentive and very accommodating. Unfortunately it went downhill after we've placed our orders. First, one of our guest's food didn't get served with the rest of ours. Their reason is because the kitchen's burners were all occupied and they had to wait until the one becomes available (?!?!?!). Keep in mind that this is during lunch time, and it was raining, so the restaurant is NOT crowded. We were the largest party, and there were about 3-4 smaller tables besides us in the whole restaurant. How they could neglect one of our order and cooked other orders was beyond me. It wasn't until 20min later that the last dish was served. Secondly, during the meal, I asked if the restaurant provides a slice of cake for my son, and the server said that unfortunately they don't provide complimentary birthday cake, to which I told them it's fine, I'll pay for it. However, they brought the slice of cake out with candle when everyone was still finishing up the meal! Luckily I saw it and quickly signaled them to stop, then I told our server to bring the cake AFTER the table has been cleared out. This should have been a common knowledge. Then after everyone has finished with their meals, we were waiting for the server to bring dessert menu, but none came. I had to physically go to the server station and ask for dessert menu. After some of our guests have ordered desserts, they didn't serve the desserts AND the birthday slice immediately. We had to wait a good 15-20min for it, which is very disappointing especially when the cake is already pre-made. We counted there were approx 4 servers and several busboys, so there was no shortage of manpower. I just couldn't comprehend on why they couldn't serve the dessert as fast as they served the main courses? The last straw was the gratuity. They did mention ahead that there's a mandatory 20% gratuity for large party, but at that point, I was really debating whether we should agree with such high percentage when service is not up to par halfway through our meal. Moreover, they calculated 20% from TOTAL instead of Subtotal amount. I told him that Tax is NOT tip-able, therefore it ahouls be calculated from Subtotal. He was flabbergasted, and said that tips are automatically added by the system, which I contested. After checking with his supervisor, then he said that he can manually enter the tip amount @ 20% from Subtotal. It's really very disappointing to end our celebration with a sour note when it had started well. Suffice to say that we will not be back to this establishment, when there are many other restaurants to dine at The Source.

This review is long overdue. Our #1 go to spot for call in…read moreand pick up! We absolutely love it!! The food always comes piping hot when we pick it up and is delicious as always. It's consistently good every single time, which is honestly hard to find. It's family-owned, and the service is amazing. They're just straight to the point, not trying to impress anyone, just serving great food. My type of people and my type of food. I love their cheese ravioli with pink sauce, the minestrone soup, the Italian wedding soup, and the spaghetti and meatballs with their meat sauce. it's AMAZING. And their garlic bread is an absolute must. Be warned... you'll probably knock out right after. The portions are hearty, the food is comforting, and it gives the best food coma every time.

I happened to try Vinny's on a whim after seeing all of the stellar reviews. Unfortunately, our…read moreexperience didn't come close to matching them. This is a tough review to write because it appears to be a family-run business, but hopefully the criticism is taken constructively. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt unwelcoming. There didn't seem to be a host or anyone greeting customers. We stood there somewhat aimlessly while employees behind the counter looked over at us without really acknowledging us or explaining where to go. One particularly strange thing we noticed was customers being turned away at the door and told there would be a wait, despite several tables appearing to be open. Then, about five minutes later, another couple walked in and was seated without any issue. Maybe there was an explanation for it, but from a customer's perspective, it was confusing and came across as very inconsistent. Unfortunately, the meal didn't improve things. The food was very bland and lacked the flavor I would expect from a good Italian restaurant. The bread we received tasted stale and was noticeably burnt. For comparison, I would honestly put the overall food quality below what you would expect from Olive Garden. Table service was almost nonexistent. Getting assistance throughout the meal was difficult, and even trying to pay the bill and leave felt like a journey. What concerned me even more was seeing several other customers spoken to in a way that came across as unnecessarily rude. I really wanted to understand why this place has such strong reviews, but based on our experience, I simply can't recommend it. Better hospitality, more consistent treatment of customers, more attentive service, and improvements to the food would go a long way.
