Attentive, friendly service is always a plus...and Patsy's Country Kitchen definitely has it! When we walked thru the door, it felt like we were being welcomed at someone's home. I got the Eggs Benedict with extra hollandaise. Delicious. The Canadian bacon was thick (too thick for my taste, but it was still delicious). BUT the best thing about this dish was the hollandaise. MY GOD! I could have ordered a liter of this thing, chug it down, and would have died happy! The Hollandaise was perfectly seasoned, had an almost sikly texture, and just complemented the entire dish very well. My mouth is drooling as I type this. The hash browns were also very delicious. We frequently come here and always have exceptional service and the food is always great! However, today wasn't that great. Dottie was out server usually she is great. However, after getting seated and we ordered a group of Firefighters came in and she basically ditched us. We received 3 of our 4 plates..waited about 5-10 mins got for our last plate. The machaca burrito was bland and had no flavor vs. the machaca omelette we ordered. The children's mickey pancake was A LOT smaller than previous visits. Once we finally received our food, Dottie dropped our check and we didn't see her the rest of our time there. We'll be finding another breakfast joint for the future. read more

I believe that Iv reviewed Patsy's Country Kitchen in the past but since I went there recently Im giving it another review. When I first discovered Patsy's Country Kitchen years ago (through a friend) I couldnt believe I had never heard of this place. Sort of tucked away in a little strip mall off Jefferson at Wincester Patsy's is the kind of place the locals know and frequent. A laid back home town sort of feel with good prices, home style cooking and some of the friendliest staff in Temecula! Patsys is open every day from 6am until 2pm for either breakfast or lunch. Breakfast is our choice and on weekends there is usually a wait but you wont wait long. There are many booths and tables to accomodate groups and smaller tables and booths for a couple. You can sit at the counter for quicker service if you chose. The large booths will seat 6 adults so many families choose to eat at Patsy's. The staff always greats you with a friendy, "hello" and with the locals who come often they call them by name. The menu is substancial, prices good and service usually fast . My breakfast of choice is an Omlete. Usually the Spinach and cheese Omlete. My husband may get the eggs, bacon potatoes and last time he got the spanish omelet which he raved about. With the breakfast there are serveral choices of potatos and either toast, biscuit or pancake. I've had SOS at their Hemet location and I have to say that the gravy served in Hemet is hands down better than the Temecula location. The menudo and the SOS were so salty that it was just a waste of salt. I like salt a lot so I ate it but let this be a warning to those that salt their food before tasting it. TRY IT FIRST!! The tea was great as was the ham and eggs. The service was wonderful. They just need to teach the cook how to make gravy and take his salt shaker away!! The food was good and plentiful. The staff was friendly. But not a single employee was wearing their mask over their face properly. The cook didn't have his pulled up at all. They allowed customers to use ketchup, hot sauce bottles. Tables and condiments were quickly wiped with a wet rag in between guests. Seating was outdoors, though. Eat at your own risk. My family and I have come here a few times now and we all love it. They give you huge portions and I haven't had one thing that tasted bad here yet. By far my favorite breakfast item here is the Hot hot Omelette. Very flavorful, good heat and it goes well with the hash browns. My Wife really enjoyed the chicken fried steak, and the kids have been very impressed with the pan cakes and the waffles. The only downside to this restaurant is the size. With the high volume of people they get, the restaurant can't hold everyone. And there is no where to sit half the time while waiting, so you end up blocking one of the two entrances/exits of the restaurant. Aside from that, the staff is very nice and very personable. You shouldn't shy away from eating here because of the wait! Go ahead and stand for 20 minutes, block an exit while waiting; the food is worth it! read more

I love having breakfast at a mom and pop shop. It's more comfortable and super friendly. I love the decoration! It's very interesting! The tables had pictures and business cards under a glass table top. The biscuits and gravy was to die for here. That's my favorite! I always order it because I only know 2 other places that have very tasty biscuits and gravy. Eggs and bacon is ok as always nothing special with those but still delicious. We've been looking for a good breakfast place since moving to Temecula. Decided to give this place a shot. We were not disappointed. The best part about this place is the incredible customer service. Our waitress Tina was amazing! She took care of us so well. The food was very tasty. The only downside was the ambiance. It might have been because we got there at the busiest time, but it was really loud. The glare coming in through the windows was also a bit of a nuisance. Will try going in earlier to avoid the rush. Breakfast and lunch, the best thing on the menu in my books is the kielbasa swiss cheese omelet if you are a kielbasa fan, you must try it. I have to say that just about everything that I have tasted here is great, the only item I was not a fan of was the menudo, it has an odd taste and its not a mexican restaurant so what do you expect lol.... I highly recommend this place for breakfast. usually there is a wait time, but it will be like 20 minutes max. My reason for the 4 stars is because the plates they serve the food on always have a dirty dish smell to them.... and its unappetizing. read more

Parents went in today and had a horrible experience. 3 eggs were sent back for being over cooked ( sunny-side up came out more like darkside of the moon), three temps after she orders poached instead since it seemed easier. Waitress slammed bowl down and goes " these better for you?" Stopped in for a late lunch. I was the only one in the place and received a friendly greeting. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and grilled onions based on a recommendation from the waitress. It came out piping hot but it was over cooked. I ordered it medium rare and got well done. She offered to "fix it" but I didn't feel like waiting for a new one and really didn't think getting it med-rare was going to improve the flavor that much. They serve their burgers with lettuce/tomato on the side and the iceberg lettuce was drenched in water (almost a teaspoon full). I'd come back and try something else off the menu. Cozy country home feel and delicious breakfast. It gets busy on the weekends and the wait can be a little long. There isn't much room to wait inside, so outside waiting is an option. It would be great if they made the waiting area seating into "U" shaped vs the current "L" shape; it would allow more people to seat and keep them out of the entryway. Once ordered, the food was brought out to us quickly but our service during breakfast was taking longer than usual. However, when our server was able to get to us, it was pleasant with lots of friendly smiles. Breakfast food was yummy and portioned on the larger size. Lots of options for breakfast. I had their awesome French toast and she had their amazing menudo, I say this because she has been an amazing cook all her life, all her friends and family know this about her, she's the pioneer woman of Pomona and she's the best and she for once felt dethroned, but she was very humble in her defeat and let the attentive waitress know how delicious our breakfast was and how they slayed it! Patsy's by far exceeds the standards of a breakfast diner, especially in the middle of the urban jungle Murrieta and Temecula, with two other stores in the local chain. The true test of any breakfast place that offers mexican cuisine is chilaquiles, and this was close to the best I've ever had (barring my home-made, of course). On our last day in Temecula we decided to try Patsy's. What in the heck took us so long? This place is amazing. Service: It was super busy while we were there and no one missed a beat. Our coffee and water cups never went empty. If we asked for anything it was brought very promptly, but we didn't really have to ask for anything, they anticipated our needs well and brought everything before I could even ask. Food: Wow, just wow! I had the hot hot omelette, it was perfect. Not too spicy, but had a little kick. The salsa that I put on top really set it off. My husband got the super omelette which was great as well. The home fries were also perfect, a little crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned. My husband asked the waitress about the chile verde and she brought him out a sample, it knocked our socks off. Can't wait to go back and try it. Ambiance: Patsy's is located in a typical strip mall, nothing fancy. Inside is clean, but dated. That doesn't bother me at all, though. But if you get hung up on looks, then you may not love it.
