This place is done for. Ordered three breakfast tacos with extra cheese. And they put none on any of them. Tasted gross.

Came here because usually the service is good and food is good. I was up all night preparing for a medical procedure and couldn't eat for a full 24hs. Now I'm really hungry so I order my daughters food drink and grill cheese. I ordered Philly cheese steak and he specifically ask me do you want combo? I said yes and he handed me cup for my combo order. I wait at the booth and since it was taking a while I decided to go up front and wait. The girl not my male order taker asks what did you order. I bring my so called receipt and they can't find my order. That's because he handed me the ticket that is for the cook. Didn't even give me MY receipt. So the guy goes in back and says where's her fries. Tell me the fries are cooking. The girl grabs the box says here's your order. I open it and NO fries. I go back up and told her you gave me my order without my fries? She said you didn't order I said yes I did. She said you didn't pay for it, I can ring you up. I was so mad! I said so I waited all this time no fries. She says he made a mistake but you have to pay for it. I said you guys screwed up now I'm the one screwed over it should be free. Every time I've Ever gone to a restaurant sit or fast food they ALWAYS give it to me free if they screwed up! What really makes me mad is she continued to argue instead of making it right!! I'm done! Called 3 times this morning to place and order. Twice it just rang and on the third time someone picked up and hung up. Checked there hours on website and Yelp and both say they are open. If they dont want to answer customers plenty of other places that will appreciate the buisness in these trying times. read more

Love the gyros!!!! Fries and burgers of course were great but hidden in the gem are the gyros and they werr soooo good...they also had fried zuccinis nice big pieces made fresh if course everything is made to order although a bit pricey id say the gyros are sooo worth it i recommend you try em! read more

Best deal in town! My Dad loves the Huevos Rancheros and the burgers are delicious and everything is fairly priced. Service is great except at times when they are understaffed which is inevitable. The decor is tasteful and welcoming and background music is lively 50's. read more

Having been advised by my brother to try this place, it finally happened. WOW!! Crowded at lunch, but were STILL able to find a table for 5, order and get our lunches in a very short time!! Excellent service, good prices and superior food, cook well and quickly...it doesn't get better than that! Word of warning. decided to try this place out after their new account followed me on instagram. i've been upset by the fast food diner scene lately, as they seem to be charging more for food and caring less about what they give you. paul's place has more of the classic decor, accompanied by the retro music and the fantastic hospitality. we took a while to select our options and they were patient with us and continued helping other guests out with huge smiles on their faces. decided on the california deluxe burger, a classic BLT, and the feta fries. food came out quickly and it was all fresh! feta fries come on a chip-cut potato, holding in all the feta cheese (vs. places that give you regular cut fries and the feta just...falls). the BLT was well-done, a great amount of bacon, fresh tomato and lettuce on crunchy sourdough. and the burger was cooked perfectly and delightfully savory. it comes on toasted parmesan sourdough with bacon and avocado. this is our new joint. consider us regulars! read more

This place used to me my favorite but now you can't even get the same things i used to get. I tried substituting eggs for hash browns and they said they couldn't do it when this used to be my breakfast order every weekend. If anything they should've thanked me for saving them eggs with these prices. Like what?? I don't know what has changed but the customer service is soo bad too. Been coming here awhile now because it's down the street from me and I like to support my local businesses. Food is decent, but there are plenty of good burger diners nearby that I decided to opt to go to just because I'm fed up with this place. The service counter is always friendly, so I don't typically have an issue with them but their cooks must be all over the place. On several different occassions I've had to wait over 30 mins to get my food and all I ORDERED was A BURGER AND FRIES each time. People ordering after me get their food before me which tells me they don't have a good system to handle orders. The cooks here are a mess. I've seen their cooks give their front end staff attitude when they(the cooks) mess up the order in other visits as well. I even tried calling in to get my order ahead of time. I arrive about 15 mins later only to see that they haven't even started and on top of that I had to wait another 30 mins to even get my order. What is the point of ordering ahead if I'm still going to have to wait. The only reason I come back is because of convenience, food is decent and I like to support my local businesses. However the last straw was on my last visit. I was there before any lunch rush so walked up and placed my order without any wait. I order my food and wait, more customers trickle in but nothing too crazy. 10 mins later I see people getting their food before me that came after me, 5 mins later I decide to get up after a few more orders get pushed ahead of mine, I ask them what's taking my food so long. Note that I only ordered a BURGER AND FRIES. They decide to go check and I see them walk by the cooks but it's clear they were avoiding confronting them. I also hear them mumble that the cooks are all disorganized on the way out. They then come out and say nothing to me. 5 mins later I'm fuming as I see another order go past me and still have no response. I ask again and they just tell me it's coming up. Finally another 10 mins later my food comes out. They drop off my meal with no apology or anything. Also burger came out extra dry, wouldn't be surprised if they overcooked the meat on purpose. I was looking for a breakfast burrito and Paul's surfaced as an option. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. First off, they have a few different varieties of breakfast burrito. I got a tasty one with refried beans and pico de gallo. Of course, they are pretty big so you can probably split it or you can just take it down on your own. I recently tried the turkey burger and the fried zucchini and I wasn't disappointed with either. The turkey burger wasn't the best I've had, but it did the job and satisfied my burger craving. The zucchini was bomb though. They're large spears that are breaded and deep fried to a golden crisp. They served them piping hot and I should have waited to take a bite, but it was well worth burning my mouth. The service is always good, but this place gets packed, especially on Sunday mornings. I'd definitely call my order in to avoid all that. Then, you can take down the whole breakfast burrito in the comfort of your own home. read more

The food is decent enough but the prices are ridiculous. A cheeseburger is $5.99. Fair enough, it's a big burger. "Would you like to make it a combo?" That's another SEVEN DOLLARS for a handful of fries and a small drink. It's actually cheaper to buy the $4 side of fries and the $2.69 drink. When I pointed this out the cashier rolled her eyes and moaned, "So do you want to do it separately then?" About a year ago the ownership must have changed. That expensive combo used to come with a big portion of fries, a couple of onion rings, a portion cup of cole slaw, and your drink. Well worth the upcharge. Now? For $12.99 you can go to pretty much anywhere else and get better product. If you do go, the Greek stuff is better value, but be aware it doesn't come with everything listed on the menu anymore. read more

Fast food with the dining experience. Came into the restaurant and ordered my food at the front. They have a great selections of burgers and sandwiches. After seating myself the food took no longer than 5 minutes to come out. The interactions with workers felt like a fast food chain but the food itself and the environment is dining quality. read more

Normally the food and service is great, however today, it was really lacking. Ordered veggie omelette w/ hash browns, sourdough toast and coffee. Coffee very watery, food was cold and soggy and toast was buttered bread only. Took sometime to get our meal and after we received it took my toast back and never received my new toast. Paul's Place is a solid restaurant with very good food. Tasty burgers, chicken, even the burrito was good. Try the feta fries and your taste buds will thank you. There are a few Paul's Place locations and this one is clean and the service is good. Paul's has a vibe of a 50s-60s diner, but isn't really a diner. I enjoy coming here as I know the food will be delicious and the quality consistent. It is reasonably priced with ample portions. I do recommend ordering ahead of time if you are doing take-out, as you may be sitting for a bit during peak times if you order once inside. I will add, I've been to the following Paul's locations (Los Alamitos, Buena Park, Cypress and of course, Orange) and they consistently deliver. I ordered two double cheeseburger combos and a side of onion rings and we were in love. The burgers were juicy and char broiled and there were plenty of French fries. The order of onion rings were huge! They were super crispy, thick and did not get soggy whatsoever. We were even able to throw our leftovers in the air fryer the next day and tasted just as great. Our order even came with 4 tubs of that GOOD ranch and not the small little cups that they usually make you pay extra for. Can't wait to try more items on the menu. read more
