I am very happy with two repairs done by PDR Crew. First, I took our Honda CR-V in which had a damaged left front fender and scrapes down the left side. They properly managed the job which included dealing with the insurance company, and ordered and installed extra supporting pieces after the inner fender liner had been removed. The paint and repair looks good. After that turned out well, I also took my Mazda Miata in for a repair of hail damage on the hood of the car. I'm truly not sure where to start here...following the hail storm in Austin, we were looking for somewhere to repair our second, lesser used vehicle without insurance. Truth be told, our insurance company wrote us a check to carry out the repair on our own, and finding someone to take us paying cash was difficult, but we did. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate, but when I arrived, I could not find anyone, and nobody seemed to know anything about it. The owner/manager, Israel arrived, and agreed to do the work for a set price, and said what I thought to be, "cash or check" and I repeated it back to him, he confirmed, and I left with a drop off, and pick up date. When I brought it back, I had to again go over the work with him and renegotiate the price and he assured me when it would be ready. I called before I drove over an hour in traffic to pick it up, but no answer. When I arrived, it was still sitting in the same spot I left it in, and I had a bad feeling. As I feared, it wasn't ready. He told us to come back the next day, but I had already taken off work once, and couldn't leave early again the next day. He called me that next night, annoyed, but I told him I would be there the next day, reluctantly, the day before Thanksgiving, despite our family plans. I called during the day to confirm it was ready, but he was unsure, and said he would call me back. He eventually did, but had no idea who I was, and assured me it was ready. We again drove over an hour in traffic to find IT WASN'T READY AGAIN!!! This was after he got annoyed with ME for not picking it up the night before. In fact, the window trim wasn't back on, the hood bumpers and a windshield washer fluid sprayer were now all broken, and it wasn't polished. I had to then stand there for nearly an hour while we finished it, and then the trouble really started. He claimed he never said cash or check, he claimed he said "cashier's check" and I reminded him that I repeated it back to him to confirm which he of course had no recollection. At this point, Israel became very belligerent with me and another owner/manager got involved. He eventually gave me a Zelle phone number to send the money to, and I wrote it down, read it back AND showed him, but alas, it was incorrect. He then demanded to see my personal bank account and all of my transactions which I reluctantly showed me, and they both started to become very angry and made me extremely uncomfortable. We took our keys and quickly left, but as we did they were violently arguing and I have to admit that both my husband and I did fear for our safety for a few minutes. I would not recommend going here, especially not alone as a female, or without a witness. They have a terribly run business, with one single cellphone as the contact, and zero communication between eachother. read more
