I'm giving a 2 because of DJ he was playing the first night I went. So to start you MUST have a reservation. You can not make it over the phone like regular restaurants they require you to do it online and give your credit card info for a $50 no show fee. So when i called the young lady said I'll send you a text I assume she got it from the caller id cause she didn't ask me for any details. I responded to the text and asked how much is the deposit she said she didn't know what i was talking about. I responded and said it's asking me for my credit card info and she responded and basically told me to read it's on the site why they want it. All she had to say is why they are asking for credit card info instead of providing poor customer service for an already over priced establishment that charges $20 parking! Poor customer service! Strictly based off service. I came on a Sunday night at 9PM (closed at midnight), and was sat immediately by the hostess, about 10% occupancy. A server walked past us 5-6x and didn't speak at all. After 25 minutes the hostess finally came to ask if we had been helped. She apologized and said it was late in the night and maybe some servers went home. She went to talk to a server, one server looked over at us and still didn't serve us. We decided to leave. Steak seasoned down greens good Brussel sprouts had a good flavor and the drinks were nice. Staff all good prompt service food was out quick. I really enjoyed it. The reason for the 4 stars is the automatic gratuity. I absolutely hate this. It use to be gratuity for a party of 6 and more, now it's everyone. We spent $265 and $40 of that was gratuity. This is my perspective as a first time customer. Parking: self parking is minimum. You must pay $20 to park Service: The waitresses were nice but the service was not great. I went on a Saturday evening. There was no crowd and the place was almost empty by time I arrived, which was perfect. I ordered a drink, it took almost 20 mins for me to get my drink and an hour to receive my food. That includes the time frame of me sending my food back because I had a piece of hair in it, however, they compensated me. The waitress would leave for a long period of time to where another waitress had to come over and attempt to assist us with our order placement. Overall, I got there at 6:45 and didn't eat until almost 8. I also ordered an old fashion, and never received it. Ambiance: The music was too loud. I didn't understand why the music was blasting when it was merely 6 couples there. Definitely not an establishment where you can have a casual conversation and catch a vibe. That evening, trap music was playing, which is fine I suppose, but it gave me club vibes. Nevertheless, it's all about preference and at my age, I'm not trying to turn up and watch women twerk as I eat. The waitress (not our original waitress) shared with me that I ordered a sidecar during happy hour. She expressed how she was used to customers telling her what type of liquor they wanted in their sidecar. She also started that a happy hour sidecar consumes "alternative" liquor. I then said "I understand that, however, how do I supposed to know that? I am a first time customer who picked up the menu and saw sidecar and that's what I expected. I didn't even know it was happy hour" For future reference, if your establishment is going to use cheaper liquor, you need to advertise it as such and inform customers of your variations of sidecars. Either put it on your menu or ensure your waitresses are explaining your happy hour drinks to consumers. As I type this review; it dawned on me, how is it that a $15 drink is considered a happy hour drink? So I paid $15 for a drink and didn't even get real liquor! Wow!!.... I was trying to keep this review professional. I wanted to sincerely provide constructive criticism and remove all emotions. However, as I reflect on how I got scammed with my sidecar, I am livid! Visited this new spot in 3rd Ward. It's the old Live Oak club that used to be jumping back in the day. They made nice renovations in there. It's a vibe situation where it's cute cute and has good music. It's a good amount of parking for now but once it gets crowded there is street parking. They are still in there soft opening so they are still working to perfect things. We were greeted by Jayda who took care of us. We got free champagne at entry. They even offered free mimosas but we declined. Jayds was the only waitress but we couldn't tell. She was on it. In my opinion this was no different than any other chicken & waffle/ fish and grits spot. It's just new. Now I will say the oxtails eggrolls and the peach side car was on point!!! The waffle was fried which was a little different and the wings were a little bland but were piping hot. The catfish and grits were good..but came out just warm. I visited Peachez for their advertised Friday lunch hour special and was drawn in by the restaurant's pretty aesthetics and overall vibe. The music was played at a nice low level, adding to the ambiance. The building is designed so that the front windows can be opened, allowing for a nice breeze and view. However, this also let in flies, and I found myself swatting them away from my food, which was a bit irritating. For food, we ordered the lunch special: the $10 Chicken Sandwich with fries, the $10 Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, and the Bang Bang Wings from the bites section of the main menu. Although this was the lunch special the main dishes were on the smaller side, and the food was okay. The chicken sandwich resembled an oversized chicken tender. When I asked what came on the burger, the waitress informed me that you could choose one add-on (lettuce, tomato, or pickles), and any additional toppings came with an extra charge. It also looked like they simply sprinkled a little shredded cheese on top of the burger versus a slice of cheese. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and they require valet parking based on tips only. However, I found it a bit odd since I ended up walking to my own car upon leaving. It was parked right in front of me, so there was really no need for the valet to take just a few steps to bring it over. One thing to note is that all checks include an automatic 20% gratuity, which is listed on the menu. We were a party of two. Their Instagram page is nice and advertise different themes days/nights. I'd be open to trying their brunch and coming back to explore other menu options to give it another try on a different day. read more

I came to Peachez to celebrate my friend's birthday, expecting a great experience, but unfortunately, the service was horrible. My friend and her guests arrived before me, placed their orders, and were still waiting when I got there. I ordered a drink and hookah, and it took 40 minutes for both to arrive--despite the restaurant not being busy. The food never came out, and when we asked the waitress, she kept blaming the bartenders, saying they were slow. Closing out our tab was also a long process. When we asked to speak with a manager, she eventually came over and convinced us to order another round of drinks. It took almost an hour for those drinks to arrive. By that point, we had already closed out and decided to leave. As we were getting up, the manager took the drinks away and handed them to another table without any apology or attempt to make things right. We were never offered any compensation, a discount, or even a simple "sorry for the experience." The lack of customer service was beyond disappointing. I wouldn't recommend Peachez based on this visit, but I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves service for future guests. read more

My wife and I drove up from the Galveston area because they were offering a "Peach" theme for the month of August 2025. Upon arrival just after opening, we found the parking area blocked by other nearby stores, and Peaches had blocked public parking with cones for valet. As a handicapped veteran, we did find a handicapped spot. Upon entering, the music was so loud, (bass of the music turned way up), it was hard to carry on a conversation. Here's my honest review... the Dj and vibes were a good time on a Sunday afternoon, but the music is a tad bit too loud on the inside (we were yelling across the table) lol. My boyfriend and I ordered 2 lamb chop dinners ($38 each) 4 drinks total ($16 each) and a hookah. The tab came out to be $242 which is quite insane. We sat at the high top table and the bar stools were very flimsy. However, the service received from our waitress was great. The lamb chops were a 9/10. The dirty rice was a 7/10. And the greens were a 9.5/10 (they're spicy). The sidecar drinks were a 8/10. If I choose to go back I'd definitely go during happy hour or when there's a special.
