I've been going to Peachy, starting at this location, but also trying out the one near grand central and in downtown Brooklyn, for several years now. All of the locations share the same aesthetic and are clean, bright and welcoming, and service is equally lovely. After about a year of visits my static forehead wrinkles dissolved away, and my results always look natural, the techs are always pleasant and err on the side of doing less and then having you come in to touch up. Honestly, my husband didn't even notice I had Botox done until my bff asked me about it in front of him. I think what I've found amazing is that even though I'm currently taking a long break from going (due to pregnancy) my skin STILL looks substantially better now than it did before I started. Such a great experience!! I'm not new to Botox, but I am new to Peachy. I'm a fan! Everything from booking my appointment, to the communication leading up to my appointment, to the check-in process, was perfect. The actual appointment exceeded my expectations. It is a millennial woman's dream. The space is very Instagram-worthy. They follow COVID safety protocols. The vibe is very cool yet comfortable. After checking in, they take your pictures which your injector will later reference during your consult. On the photos they show you where they would place the Botox if you opt to get Botox during your visit. They'll tell you how many units of Botox will be used on each area/injection site. (As a side note, 20-40 units of Botox is average for the forehead area! If you do the math, $375 is a really great deal for NYC.) You are then provided with a cute little ice-pack to numb your injection spots a bit. And then they inject you! So, I have to say, the injections pinched a little bit more than I've experienced with my cosmetic doctor. But! It was was totally tolerable and manageable! I didn't feel like I had to take a break at all, but they are totally cool if you need to take a breather. Caroline did my consult and injections and she was *great*! Excellent bedside manner, super knowledgeable and approachable, and wonderfully communicative. She wasn't salesperson-y and was only all about giving me the information I needed to decide if Botox was right for me. I wish I could give negative stars. I went into the experience wanting a bit of a brow lift as I have some slight asymmetry. I usually go to another place, however I had passed by this place and thought to give it a try. I had recently gotten a septoplasty, but was ok'd to get my botox done, and was instructed to tell my practitioner to just not touch my nose. I explained this to my practitioner very very clearly and what happened? Right when she came back in to do the botox, she lays her hand with intense pressure directly on my septum, where I had expressed I recently had surgery. She left a large painful dent on my nose and on top of that the botox I had made 0 difference in my eyebrows. Wanted to be a fan, but not a fan. They have good marketing and a referral system, and the concept is good, which is why people like it, but overall I don't think it delivered (for me). Idk maybe if you're a first-time tox user? Or are unsure of what you want/how much you need and want to save a little money? But personally, my results weren't worth it. Most reviews are done right after the initial appointment - so I wanted to wait to give this review until after my 2 weeks, my touch-up, then see the retention. Because when you give a review for tox based on the day of, that doesn't tell other customers anything other than the experience that day, as tox takes a while to kick in. Okay, here we go. My experience/results: I have been getting tox enough to know the product, the number of units, the time it usually takes to kick in, the results I get, and how long it lasts. I expressed the product I wanted and told her the usual amount of units that I get. She agreed for my forehead and 11's, but told me that the amount I wanted was 'too much' for my crows (which are my #1 problem area, and I always need more), but, I am not an aesthetic NP so I told her that if she thought it was too much and that the dosing she would provide would be sufficient we could do that. Normally my tox starts to kick it within a few days, "fully" kicks in within 10 days-2 weeks. At the end of 2 weeks, my forehead was ok, but I still had lines for my 11's and very visible crows feet. So I called and went back for a touchup. Touchup: the provider agreed that we could do more in my 11's and my crows (though the amount in my crows was still underdosed from what I told them I needed previously from the same product) and now my 11's had more units total than I've ever had. I waited another 2 weeks, I still had 11's and crows feet. Again, I've done tox enough that I know how my face responds to these products, I usually have no visible 11's after a less amount of units. Is it better than it was, of course. But it's not the results I wanted/paid for. And my crows feet never went away, slightly lessened, maybe, but definitely not what you expected from crows feet tox. My forehead was decent, but I definitely had a little "spock" brow going on (probably not noticeable to others, but I noticed it). So. Why doesn't it work well? Not a clue. I've definitely seen comments about them diluting their product, and I do not want to badmouth a business when I don't watch them reconstitute, so I can only speak on my personal experience. I asked when I called before my first touchup, and they told me they reconstitute it the same as per manufacturer guidelines. But my question remains, if I've gotten the same product, multiple times, with the same (or less) number of units, why are my results not even comparable? Is it their product? Injector technique? I honestly don't know. The place itself: I mean, it's clean, everyone is nice. They take before pics and put the units and stuff on a little iPad. They give you ice before, and at the end they have you ice for a few minutes in a room and you get seltzer water. I think overall it's a "nice" experience (as opposed to a dermatologist's office if you're not into that or a doctor's office gives you anxiety). They are definitely hitting the millennial market the right way with the setup, referrals, money off, etc. I just think that for what I paid, it wasn't worth it. Normally when I go I spend potentially slightly more than I would at Peachy, but my tox kicks in quickly, I usually don't have to go for touchups, I get the results that I want, and it lasts for 3-4 months. I spent a hair less with Peachy, but got minimal results, more time spent (as I had to go back for a touchup, and honestly should have pushed for an additional touchup since the first one didn't help), and now will have to go back sooner to another place for more tox. If you're experienced getting tox and have someplace that you already like/does a good job - I would honestly stick with it, as you may just end up disappointed. If you're a first-time tox user and just want to dabble in it, and maybe aren't sure what you want, then it might be a good starting place for you? read more

Where to begin? I had seen an ad for them on Instagram. It'd been almost 2 years since I had Botox. (The pandemic and a baby) And momma was due!! Place is clean and bright. On the initial appointment the receptionist had a terrible attitude. They take a picture of you and then the nurse walks over and picks you up. She had asked me which of the muscle relaxers I preferred. I mentioned Botox, since it's what I've always used and it would last me 5 months. She said good because Xeomin, I wouldn't recommend for someone your age. She leaves the examination room and comes back with 2 syringes already pre-filled. That was a first for me as in other places they fill the syringes in front of you. And if they need to prepare or mix anything, they explain to you what they're doing and again, in front of you. So she got to work and as she was injecting me mentioned to me there's a complimentary touch up should you find it not to your liking. Well I did notice that my right side at the brow area was more lifted than the left. A few days later I called them and told them I would be needing a touch up since the left side needed to match my right side. Once again a nurse comes into the examination room, with 1 prefilled syringe. She then injects once point above my left brow and said "that should take of it." Well, it didn't. This was in May and about 6 weeks later I noticed I no longer looked taught and all the lines she discussed filling were back. Smh, never again!! Spend the extra money and go to other places where product actually lasts. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" and that couldn't be truer. Headed back for my second appointment tomorrow and thought I'd give an overall update on how my first 3 months went! I was obsessed with my results for about 7 weeks. Then between 8-10 weeks it started to wear off. I'm now at 15 weeks. Between 12-15 weeks it basically went back to is was before Botox. I'm going to hopefully get a little more tomorrow and see how that changes things over the next 3 months. I did go back for a touch up at the 2 week mark back in November which helped with the unevenness I was experiencing over one of my eyebrows (more wrinkles on one side that the other, nothing droopy!). Beware! This place is a scam. My Botox treatment did not last 8 weeks. They advertise "unlimited units" for $$$ and later told me, after the results had faded, that they do not go over a certain amount. They base their limit on some FDA limit that does not exist. When I called the manager and asked her if she could point me in a direction where I could find this FDA limit, she couldn't. I should have done more research as other yelpers have also had the same problem. I'm a male and always get 40 units in my forehead. When I went to Peachy and met with the NP, i explained this to her in the very beginning. She said, let's start with 31 and see how it plays out. It should have been disclosed to me then, that 40 units is never an option. Not even 8 weeks later, all my wrinkles are back. When I reached back out to Peachy and met with the lead NP, she told me the FDA limits to 20 units in the forehead. I've never heard this before and could not find this anywhere online. What I did find online was that up to 40 units is acceptable in the forehead and 11 lines WITH MALE PATIENTS SOMETIMES NEEDING ADDITIONAL UNITS. I'm curious as to how it is it legal to advertise unlimited units when they clearly have a limit? The customer service rep called me back and said that Peachy was not the right Botox place for me and suggested I go elsewhere. Update: I received a call from their customer service rep who realized how stressful all of this was an offered to refund me what I paid for my initial treatment. Went in a few weeks ago for my first ever session and this place did not disappoint. As a first timer, I was pretty nervous but the process was quite seamless. I walked in and got my pictures taken to better assess my needs. The nurse thoroughly explained the process, where they recommended injection and to what extent to get a natural look. My forehead was iced and the process was pretty painless, felt like a small pinch. After a few moments, I was out the door and went on with my day. Now that it's been a couple weeks, I definitely notice a positive difference. When I furrow my eyebrows, the look is quite natural but without the heavy wrinkling. Recommend this spot! If I had written this review right after my in-studio experience, it would be five stars and totally glowing. Very approachable place, lovely NP, great customer experience. I'm 32, and I've gotten Botox in my forehead on and off for 2-3 years. But after I moved apartments, I wanted to switch up my routine and go somewhere less clinical. Peachy was great for all that! The price was really reasonable too! Loved the flat rate idea. But the downside is that Peachy's injectables have worn off far faster! In my previous experiences with Botox, I only felt like I needed to get injections every six months or so before it really started wearing off. Not so with Peachy-- I had my appointment at the end of March, and now, less than two months later, the effects are almost entirely gone. I ended up referring a friend to Peachy, too, and she's noticed the exact same thing. Both of us have had prior injectables that have lasted far longer. I contacted customer service about it, and they got back to me super quickly and were quite friendly. Their suggestion was that maybe I've developed some kind of immunity to the injectable from my other experiences (eek!! wow can that be true?!), and that we should be less 'conservative' in the approach next time. In fairness, I didn't come back two weeks after my initial appointment for touch-ups because I was happy with the way things looked straightaway and I generally prefer a less-is-more approach. But it is a bummer to realize that, while the experience is great and the initial results are nice, Peachy's results may not last as long which may mitigate its competitive pricing. Maybe this is on me for not reading the fine print? I may go back once more to see if my second experience is better, since I did like everything else about Peachy. But having to go back every three months AND do a two-week touch-up after each appointment is... a lot. read more
