Super excited to find out there was this new spot nearby CSUN campus, located on the corner across from the Chili's parking lot. My friends invited my boyfriend and I to come here and try out the spot. It apparently had a grand opening the day before we came. It was a great and comfortable experience. The interior was decorated very well, giving a beautiful welcoming and open vibe. We had nice window spots at around 1pm and chilled around studying with our laptops for a couple of hours. We got a lot of work done and was able to admire the drinks and snacks offered. Ordered the honey pear tea, the strawberry matcha latte (with oat milk! The other nondairy option is almond milk), and boongobbang (the fish-shaped cakes with filling inside). We got nutella, taro, and red bean flavors and enjoyed the taste of the snacks. It was 5 for $10, and they were all a satisfactory size. The AC was temperature-controlled and the music was at a low volume, adding more comfort and relaxation to the experience. I think that we all agreed that we would love for more savory food options to be included one day! But since we were next to Chipotle, we munched on the bowls we had brought. We've been waiting for this to open and it's finally here. Soft opening was a success to be honest. The room was packed and the ordering easy and straightforward. Very nice place, since it's close to university the place is pretty spacious. Parking is not a problem considering the location. Of course they have busier days and parking might not be considerable, don't take it out on me. Menu is not complicated, thank goodness, selection is great. On a windy cold day I still didn't hold back in getting bingsoo , and as expected it was good. The drinks we ordered were pretty good too. Of course you have to come back for the other food and drinks. Service is great, helpful and actually fast. Again don't hold me accountable if you go on their busiest days. read more

Great study spot!! Their biscoff ice latte is really yummy! It has a cookie butter flavor but is still strong espresso and has a biscoff cookie on top. Their teas are tasty as well. Service is good. Came back on a Sunday, the place was very busy but there was still some seatings left. On Sundays they do not provide WiFi so be aware. We waited over 40 minutes for our Strawberry Banana Croffle. We will sadly not come back due to the no WiFi and price increases. My girlfriend and I came to this place wanting to try something new for our sweet tooth. We were blown away with the social ambience, quality of service, and the most delicious desserts. She got the strawberry bingsoo and I got their new cereal bingsoo. Highly recommend both as the strawberry has soft chewy mochi and the whole dessert tastes better as it melts with all of its other toppings. My cereal was very reminiscent of the sweet milk left behind by Frosted Flakes and the flakes weren't too crunchy. For a Tuesday night around 6:00pm, it was not as crowded as it seems to be since the location was near CSUN. I was able to order right away since there was no line when I had walked in. The Matcha Bingsoo was nice and refreshing while the Horacha Latte tasted more like chocolate for me. Also, the environment is calm and smooth for anyone that needs to do any school or work related. They have WiFi if you need it from Monday to Saturday, but not on Sundays (I'm not sure the reason why that is). There is free parking lot within the plaza for anyone that needs it. read more

Hojicha latte here is sooo good! The bungeoppang is nice and crispy. Red bean filling was surprisingly a soft whole bean, instead of jam consistency. Drinks and food get made fast. The only good thing about Peak Cafe is that there are multiple seating options if you want to sit down with your laptop or reading material to study. Went on a weekday to get the bingsu since there are so few places in the valley that serve it and I was not disappointed. The bingsu was so soft and snowy they really packed the bowl full and topped it off with fresh strawberries and matcha powder. This spot is really big and seems to be popular with students studying but I like that they have a designated area for a laptop free zone. They also have a claw machine with cute plushies. Matcha is good but is more milky than strong matcha flavor, perhaps you can ask for more matcha to make it stronger. The atmosphere here is so pleasant. Even when every seat is full, it is somehow so quiet and peaceful. The staff are all genuinely kind, caring people, who add a special touch to the service that I haven't experienced anywhere else in this city. Spacious cafe with tons of tables and space. The corn coffee was okay for my tastes, but the iced pear tea is pretty good. The taiyaki is probably one of the best that I've had in LA, the exterior is super crispy and hot, and the interior was delicious. Weird for me to say, but the bathroom is decorated really nice, the orange color and the wallpaper looks luxurious. The only con for me is that there is only one tiny wall that has electrical outlets, so you'll need to come here with a full laptop battery if you're trying to get some work done. read more

The place is large and full of tables and seats for college kids or remote workers to get a beverage or treat and study/work. It's clean and bright without unnecessary decorations/noise. I wish a place like this existed when I was a student. I would've been here all the time. I went for a dessert date with my husband. We got the cereal bingsoo which was new on the menu, but the cashier said it was delicious and it did not disappoint!! This place is a Korean dessert bingsu, drinks, and some desserts. The bingsu was a bit of a disappointment.. the ice has no flavor and even with adding the condense milk it was still dry. I had to ask for more of the condense milk.. it taste more like "milk"... we got two flavors, strawberry and black sesame. The black sesame was more of a powder they put on top of the shave ice. We absolutely love the ambience. It's cozy, roomy, fun place to hang out or study. The menu, since it just opened.. I hope there will be more food/drinks selection in the future! read more
