This is cute cafe right by CSUN! It gets quite crowded with a lot of people coming to get work done. Since it was later in the day, I got the *sunset tonic* which was aesthetically pleasing with delicious yuzu and lychee. My cousin got the *injeolmi latte* and it was quite caffeinated/strong and creamy! We shared a *banana brûlée croffle* with a yummy white cloud of mascarpone cream and carmelized banana. It was my first time here and definitely not my last! Can't wait to come back and try more things!!
Laid back cafe with decent bingsoo and matcha. Plenty of parking next to csun. Definately wished the binsoo would have more of the drizzle and toppings for the sweetness and flavor layered into the bingsoo because once you eat it off the top, its all downhill after. Plenty of mochi though. Strawberry matcha is a bit expensive for the location and quality. The baristas were nice and friendly :)
Bustling place on Sunday at 2pm, short line to place order that moved quickly, but I could have used the extra time to read all drink options on the menu. The Bischoffee or Banana Latte or Corn Coffee were all very tempting but I went for my preferred drink these days Strawberry Matcha although as I stood there waiting for my drink (which quite a bit longer than my friends American) I was regretting not trying one of their insane looking coffee drinks (aka deserts). My BF said his Americano was excellent, not acidic or bitter in any way. My strawberry matcha was good, a bit too jammy, but not cloyingly sweet although the matcha itself was mildly flavored, it was highly caffeinated since it kept me from falling asleep at my regular time. If I was in the area I'd absolutely go back there again.
I was truly impressed with Peak Café and I know I'm not alone because the place was packed the night we went even though it was midweek. The staff was extremely friendly and efficient. And the menu had the most interesting looking selection of unusual items. I know I will be returning in order to try some of them. The reason I'm not giving Peak Cafe a perfect rating is because I went specifically to try the bingsoo. I was very excited to find a bingsoo place in the valley. However, because I was comparing it to the Bingsoo at Oakobing, I was slightly disappointed. If I had tried Peak Café first I would have loved it, however, it is very hard to beat Oakobing. All in all, I will definitely recommend Peak Cafe. A nice relaxed environment paired with an interesting menu and reasonable prices.
Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Peak Cafe and had no complaints about drinks, service, or vibes. Service was very friendly! It's a beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing space with plenty of seating and even the bathrooms were nice and definitely well-maintained. I had the Coconut Cloud with Matcha and it was perfectly refreshing. I also sampled the Biscoffee and it had a strong espresso flavor that was well complemented by the sweet cookie butter flavor. The bungeoppang was freshly prepared and well worth the $5.50 for 2; the hotteok flavor was my favorite. Overall, Peak is a wonderful space and a comfy place to study in. No wifi on Sundays though!
Really great place to study and do work since they are open later than most coffee shops. They offer free wifi and there's lots of spots to sit! I ordered a Passionfruit refresher, but next time I will be trying the matcha! Service was great. The line went by very quickly even though it was a pretty busy day. I will be back!
Yes, this cafe is indeed peak. One of the best in the northridge area with such great seating and a great study space, along with great drinks and desserts. We had their corn latte and matcha latte, as well as their mango bingsoo and it was top notch! There's nothing like this place in northridge with the exception of maybe a couple coffee spots possibly. But there is no place that's honestly better. It has it all. Service is great, food and drinks are great, space and ambiance is incredible. Plenty of parking! Highly recommended!
Definitely one of the better matchas I've had. I ordered the Matcha Squared (double matcha) and loved both the flavor and the name. We stopped by on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, which is understandable given that it's in a college community. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or come solo for a drink and study session.
I just wanna take a peek.. inside and it's honestly kinda dark in there as if you're not at the PEAK of the mountain. Plenty of drink options, shaved ice that looked tasty.. I got a strawberry matcha with almond milk. Didn't really like it, kinda bland. Also note when they ask for your name they may write it down wrong and call a different name over and over again. I told her my name was shawna she wrote it down as sienna, how is that even close?? Besides that fluke, drink was made quickly for how many people were ahead of me. Plenty of seats inside does get busy since csun is near by, parking lot is super compact.
Had to come back to Peak since I was in the area and it did not disappoint! I got the lavender earl gray matcha latte with half sweetness and it was perfect. I got the standard matcha latte last time but really enjoyed the flavored option way more - highly recommend you check out their limited time flavors! I was able to do a bit of work here - seating is a bit limited and there are few outlets, but the drinks make up for it. Would definitely be back.
I've been wanting to find a matcha spot in the valley and stumbled across Peak Cafe. The inside is nice and is a great study spot. It took the servers a little while to take my order, but they were busy. I found a nice spot to sit and read at while I drank my matcha. The matcha itself was on the sweeter side. I would have preferred it less sweet, but it was still good.
We enjoyed our visits at Peak Cafe and glad to have found another awesome cafe in the San Fernando Valley that offers both delicious specialty coffee drinks and excellent customer service. Peak Cafe has plenty of parking spots available and also plenty of tables and chairs for dining inside. Peak Cafe has a very welcoming and open ambiance. The cashier and barista at the counter consistently provides excellent customer service whenever we stop by for coffee. Our favorites at Peak Coffee are Biscoffee, Goguma (Sweet Potata) Latte, Pumpkin Peak Spice Latte, Banana Latte, Peaked Up Latte, Matcha and Injeoimi Latte (iced). We have yet to try the other specialty coffee drinks on their menu. We are looking forward to trying them out with every visit.

Came here with my friend after dinner and have to say I was happy with our choice. They do have a good parking lot, the place itself is also big. The staff was very friendly and helped us decide what to order since it was our first time here. We got the strawberry matcha, and it was very delicious and a perfect size for my friend and I to share. I can't wait to come back to try the drinks. I also like that they give you the WiFi password and bathroom code on the receipt. read more
Northridge has plenty beverage places and this place dis not disappoint. It was hot summer day and I looked to Yelp for something cool and refreshing. Food: I ordered one of their lychee drinks (I forgot the name of the drink) and it was super yummy. The drink was not too sweet and super pleasing to the eye. Service: the service was pretty good and prompt. All drinks were made to order. They also served foods but I will try next time. I had to take a picture of their bathroom. It was so clean and pretty. If you mix the drink, the matcha strawberry wasn't very sweet unless you got a lot of the purée. I'm so used to the matcha being sweet as well. Service was fast. It took a bit to get their attention before ordering but pleasant otherwise. Chill easy listening music in the background made the ambiance peaceful. Saw a lot of customers here doing work on their laptop or spending time with loved ones. Decent sized parking lot. Clean restroom with code. Good amount of tables and outlets if you plan on getting work done ! Definitely caters to students. If you're around CSUN, check this place out ! read more
Great place to chit chat, get dessert, and study. The STRAWBERRY BINGSOO (Korean shaved ice) and the CARAMEL CRUNCH CROFFLE which has mascarpone cream, Biscoff cookies, caramel, condensed milk, powdered sugar are soooo good. always a great experience at peak! ordered a lavender early gray matcha the other day and it was perfect, just the right balance of sweetness, a hint of floral and strong matcha flavor. i love that their sizes are big too and you aren't paying a crazy amount for a very small drink. read more

A cute, trendy and upscale addition to the coffee desert that is Northridge. It's nice that recently Northridge has seen its trendy and nicer coffee shops. We don't need any more Starbucks anymore! The Peak offers just that! Unique menu items and teas, the Injeolmi latte was amazing! The sweet yet tangy flavor was something I have never tasted before. I'd recommend everyone to come and visit the Peak in Northridge! The baristas were energetic and fast! I will coming back here again read more

Stopped by to kill some time while I was in town! I wasn't sure what to expect and i'm really impressed! I ordered a iced matcha latte unsweetened with oat milk and extra ice. When asked, the barista did let me know the matcha is slightly pre sweetened so I decided to opt out of additional sweetener. It was the perfect amount for my liking - I usually ask for half sweet or less than half sweet for my drinks. The cafe itself is very spacious with plenty of seating. There is tons of natural light and it's pretty full of costumers. *My only complaint is that not once in the 3 hours I was in the cafe did a staff member check the restroom. When I went to use it, it was stuffy/smelly in there, the toilet paper was out and the trash cabs were overfilled. Otherwise, I'm glad I gave it a try! read more
Solid bingsu (korean shaved ice) location! Parking was easy and there was lots of people inside when we visited on a Saturday evening but still plenty of seats available and not too long of a line to order or wait for our dessert. Two small bingsu (~$7-8 each) are more or less the same price as one large, so we decided to try 2 flavors of the small. The strawberry bingsu and black sesame bingsu both came looking pretty with condensed milk on the side to drizzle and a good variety of toppings. The flavors were refreshing and not too sweet, although I think having a wider and more shallow dish would have allowed us to eat more before the shaved ice melted. Ambiance is pleasant with wooden tables and seems a good place to work on laptops or catch up with friends. read more
it's crazy im always in this plaza and i had no idea this place existed! it's on the side where i never drive by but im glad my sister had us visit! i've been craving bingsoo and assumed they only had it in ktown, but now i can satisfy my craving much quicker here! it's a pretty spacious cafe with plenty of seating and plenty of people. i guess everyone knew about this place but me hahaha. plenty of natural lighting and had such a good vibe in there with the decorative plants. service was friendly and fast! we ordered the cereal bingsoo which was amazing. i love the texture of it-- super fluffy and melts in your mouth! the perfect amount of sweetness and still very light. the matcha croffle was also very good. the cream paired perfectly with the sweet croffle. didn't even bother to look at the rest of the menu because we just wanted bingsoo, but will definitely be back to try other things on the menu! read more

I've been to Peak Cafe twice for their hojicha latte. First time it was amazing I'm not sure if i made adjustments to the drink... because the second time the first couple of sips were okay and then it was extremely sweet. However, their hojicha based on the first time I tried tasted great. Service is exceptional both times the cashiers were extremely nice and answered my questions. My order was ready exceptionally quick. Plenty of space to park outside as well as sitting inside. It's a medium sized cafe plenty of tables to sit. read more

Cute specialty coffee shop in the valley! I ordered the Matcha and it was just perfect. They also have extensive menu of signature drinks, such creative twist. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great vibe for hanging out and studying, or catching up with friends! I'll be back very soon! read more

A delightful dessert spot tucked away in a small plaza. Peak Cafe! What a great find. Lots of bingsu choices! Got the classic one and it was the perfect way to cool down on a hot summer day. Tried corn latte for the first time. So unique! It literally had a hint of corn flavor. It was delish flavor-wise but the drink itself had a bit of a thicker consistency. The nutella taiyaki was average. 2 for $5. Enjoyed it freshly made nonetheless. It was clear this was a gathering spot for people to chill and leisurely enjoy their treats. Small cafe tucked away in the back of the Nordhoff reseda plaza. Super busy on a Saturday afternoon with every table taken. Parking can be tight but there are spots in the back. I was intrigued by the shaved ice but ended up getting a taro milk tea for $6 read more

I'm so happy we now have a place to get bingsu in the valley! This place is pretty spacious and very relaxing, lots of students come here to study. I came here two days in a row and tried a couple items. The strawberry matcha is really good, and my favorite bingsu was the mango one. We also tried the cookies and cloud, taro, etc. I really hope the mango isn't a limited time item because mangos are my favorite. You can easily spent $35 here if you get like 3 smalls, a drink and the Nutella and red bean bungobbang. I'm definitely coming back here again! The service was good, items come out fast...the bathrooms are also clean yay! read more

Second visit. I got the iced Americano the first time (not recommended - it tastes really weak, not better than a K-Cup tbh). Matcha latte - good. Matcha tonic with Yuza - 5/5, really good. Cute spot! lots of seating,, my bf and I came on Sunday a little past 12:30 and it wasn't busy until closer to 1. Really nice and spacious spot for studying or doing work, and they have a pretty big selection of drinks. We got the biscoffee and injeolmi latte, both drinks were ok but not bad (cute presentation though). Wished the injeolmi latte was a little less sweet and a tiny bit more rich or injeolmi forward, but not a bad choice. My bf enjoyed the biscoffee! I thought it tasted kinda like almond extract rather than biscoff though. I found it funny how they don't offer wifi on Sundays LOL but that's ok. Friendly and fast service, would come back to try some other drinks or their croffles! +points for their playlist that day so many of my fav songs read more

Went for brunch and for a refreshing drink! The vibes inside are nice-- very chill and cozy. Got the Bulgogi Kimchi Panini, Strawberry Matcha Croffle, and Sunrise Tonic. Bulgogi Kimchi Panini -- The employees told us it would take around 10-15 minutes to come out, which ended up being accurate. It was super yummy and very filling! Strawberry and Matcha Croffle -- For one, it looked absolutely beautiful. Taste was also on point, and the strawberries and matcha paired really well together. The cream was also perfectly light and sweet! Sunrise Tonic -- Very refreshing! Mainly tastes peachy but also a nice hint of lemon and citrus in it. read more

Ahhhh I'm so excited for this place to be fully opened. I came here today for the soft opening. The expected open date is July. First off, there is plenty of parking which is nice especially for this shopping center. They are on Dearborn street across from Chilis where the Chipotle and Subway are. The aesthetics of this place is everything!!! Super modern and simple, they did a great job designing this place. Let's talk about the seating here, its hugeee, small tables and large tables for big groups. This place would be great for a date, friends hanging out, studying, work spot or just a grab and go. My friends and I ordered their corn coffee, tonic and the shaved ice bowl. The items here are so unique compared to the other places around this area . Their menu has a variety of things from coffee, tea, matcha, shaved ice and tonics. Never in a million years would I try corn coffee, but based on the recommendation given by the staff I gave it a go. I must say I was impressed, it was good! The tonics were absolutely beautiful, very instagram worthy and super refreshing. The flower on top is just beautiful and really makes the tonic stand out. The flower is the perfect touch! I also love their personalization from the cups as well as their peak mountain logo, which I thought was really cool!!!! The guy helping us also recommended us trying the Bingsu which is shaved ice. I'm not a fan of shaved ice it's so basic and just ice. Omg not this, this melted in your mouth and was soooo good. The vanilla ice cream, oreos, mochi, cloud and than the mint was unbelievable. The little mochis complimented it so much and I can't wait to come back to try their other flavors. This is going to be my go to especially this summer. It hits the spot and just really yummy. I highly recommend ordering this. You will not be disappointed. All in all we loved this spot, everyone here was so nice. This place was really big, clean space, variety of items to choose from and late night hours. Opening soon...Oh and I heard they are going to be serving pastries, bagels which will be nice. Peak Cafe is probably one of the most unique cafes here in the valley. I love that more and more asian cafes are opening up here and I'd have to say this is probably one of the best. First up, when you first walk in--it is so spacious and has a clean aesthetic. It doesn't feel cramped or anything like that. There is music playing but it isn't loud, so it's perfect for studying or just to chill (since it is next to CSUN). However, I didn't see a lot of outlets so if you do come, make sure your laptop is fully charged. In terms of service, I'd have to give high praise for who o believe (?) was the owner? I'm not sure but she was so sweet and so nice. As for menu items, I've tried a few things. Sunset tonic, Hojicha Latte, and their Nutella Boongobbang. Loved. Every. Single. One. The sunset tonic was the perfect amount of sweet, and it hits you with a burst of energy. The hojicha was a nice smooth latte that isn't sweet at all, but just right for my mom. I highly recommend this cafe for you to try! read more

Tried this place that opened in the Valley! It's a korean style cafe with speciality drinks. The corn latte is a 10/10. Super sweet, creamy, and you can definitely taste the corn. This is a delicious korean style drink that doesn't disappoint. The sunset tonic was a 9/10. It is very refreshing on a summer day. The matcha was extremely disappointing. 2/10. It was very grassy/earthy flavor. Be sure to add sweetener to help with the taste but honestly I've had better matcha other places in the valley. This place is very cute and a good place to study. Will come back for the corn latte! read more

New cafe, big store, variety of drinks and desserts! Really good place to just chat with friends or study at. Love their hojicha cloud drink! So refreshing!! The foam in it is also good and ties well with the drink. I have to try their matcha cloud next. The injeolmi latte was good and the injeolmi flavor was strong. Recommend for people who love coffee especially Korean styled coffee. They have bingsoo and some other desserts/snacks as well. Two sizes for bingsoo, I find the small size perfect to share with two people. I usually drink hojicha or matcha lattes at cafes so I tried the hojicha latte here. It was good but it had way too much milk I think. My brother tried the matcha latte and he said he could not even taste the matcha and only tasted the milk. He said the matcha is not noticeable at all. Not sure if their matcha is strong or not, I will have to try that next time. I think they should put more hojicha/matcha and less milk and it would be perfect. I like the hojicha flavor, it was noticeable in the cloud drink so I'm sure it would be even better in the latte if there was less milk. I recommend visiting this place. Its clean and spacious and their cloud drinks are super refreshing for this weather. I will be visiting again and I hope their lattes will be better the next time. read more
This is already being a prime spot to get some nice studying in. I've gone here a few times already and can't get enough! The inside is really nice and cozy, with a white and clean vibe. I love how modern the decor inside is and how refreshing it is to relax inside as well. The cafe is located right beside CSUN, which is perfect I think for college students to come in and get work done. Despite the large amount of people that are inside, I like how quiet it is, which really helps foster productivity. Tables are placed well at appropriate distances. The music is turned on at a low tune, and the playlists are good but not distracting. I love how the smooth furniture and clean bathrooms provide the sense of relaxation. So far I love everything about the place! I DO wish for more outlets however and for the prospect of more savory food and snacks to eat!! That would help make this establishment become a go-to place for all the needs! - delicious spot for drinks or desserts - free wifi - plenty of parking - natural and modern lighting read more

Super excited to find out there was this new spot nearby CSUN campus, located on the corner across from the Chili's parking lot. My friends invited my boyfriend and I to come here and try out the spot. It apparently had a grand opening the day before we came. It was a great and comfortable experience. The interior was decorated very well, giving a beautiful welcoming and open vibe. We had nice window spots at around 1pm and chilled around studying with our laptops for a couple of hours. We got a lot of work done and was able to admire the drinks and snacks offered. Ordered the honey pear tea, the strawberry matcha latte (with oat milk! The other nondairy option is almond milk), and boongobbang (the fish-shaped cakes with filling inside). We got nutella, taro, and red bean flavors and enjoyed the taste of the snacks. It was 5 for $10, and they were all a satisfactory size. The AC was temperature-controlled and the music was at a low volume, adding more comfort and relaxation to the experience. I think that we all agreed that we would love for more savory food options to be included one day! But since we were next to Chipotle, we munched on the bowls we had brought.
