I had a 330pm appt to see Dentist. Dr. Zizi Only appt available was 330pm. I had to clear my schedule to get here. Just to have xray-s have the Dentist talk to me for 5 minutes and the billing manager . I spent more time with The receptionist and Xray tech and billing manger than I did with the Dentist who promptly leaves. I was given a prescriptions for antibiotics and the billing manager asking so lets gets you re scheduled in the next 3 days. I already cleared my afternoon for this appointment today. I am a office manager myself. This by far is inconsiderate and bad practice of business. When I was already told this was going to be taken care of today. Now instead I will take my business elsewhere. Before I left the building the Dentist Dr.Zizi. left for the day. As Im waiting for my husband to come back to get me another client is being told the Dr . left because they are late for their appt. I suppose we disrupted the Dr plans for the day? Now I get the pleasure of trying to find a new dentist during this busy tax season I guess. I will have to wait till after April 18th tax day. Thank you for wasting my time today. This place gone down since Josie left!

Just to reiterate... Dr. ZiZi completely reshaped my front teeth without permission when I was there for some fillings then threatened me with a lawsuit please stay away. I can never have my original smile back she ruined my smile and my bite and alignment. All without my permission.

They told me they would file my primary insurance first and then provide me with a quote for my treatment. I would have been expected to pay that amount out of pocket up front. Only after I paid would they submit the claim to my secondary insurance. If my secondary insurance covered more than expected, they said they would issue a credit toward future treatment instead of providing a refund. That process didn't make sense for my situation. Rather than paying a large amount up front and hoping to receive a credit later, I chose to go to a different dental office that accepted and billed both of my insurance plans from the start. I'm very glad I did. At this office, I didn't have to pay anything out of pocket, compared with the more than $10,000 I was initially told I might have to pay elsewhere. That difference was huge, and switching offices likely saved me from putting myself in a difficult financial situation. I wanted to share my experience so others with dual dental insurance can ask questions about how claims are handled before committing to treatment. In my case, finding an office that billed both insurance plans up front made a significant difference.

He had to argue with them until they realized they printed him a quote. After fitting him for Invisalign, they said he would have to wait a month and a half to get the first tray installed. (They said a hygienist does it, not even the actual dentist.) He asked for a call if something earlier opens up. They received his trays and had an opening much sooner, but they DID NOT call my husband to tell him. The reason I found out is because I called to ask what's going on, to which they lied and said they tried to call him. There is no record of their call on my husband's phone log. We thoroughly reviewed it because all the receptionist could do was fixate on her lie that someone called him. We are extremely worried going forward since Invisalign will be a very long journey full of many appointments and the receptionists cannot be trusted. Lying is unacceptable, especially in a professional practice. Update: I went with my husband to get his first Invisalign tray put in and they bought "Dandy" which is not Invisalign. I asked why they quoted us for Invisalign but then gave us Dandy, and the person opening the box said, "Dandy works with Invisalign," which they absolutely do not; they are competitors. Dandy is about half the cost of Invisalign. Bait and switch scammers. Avoid at all costs. The dentist had a bad attitude about it, too, as if they didn't just get caught lying. Thankfully, they refunded us at least. We will never come back again.

This franchise has over 2 dozen locations in Austin along with offices in San Antonio and Houston. The big selling point is getting patients to know that they are in a caring and understanding environment. This office is located on the 2nd floor ( elevator available) with a large sign on top of the building. Prior to my arrival, I was required to fill out several forms online which took about 15 to 20 minutes. I arrived to my 11am examination appt early with no one in front of me and waited 10 minutes until I was called in. First stop was to stand and get a head scan. This was followed by a very thorough examination and computer animated dental display. The dentist had my full dental array perfectly pictured on the screen in front of me in vivid detail. She went over both the positive and negative issues associated with my teeth and gums. I did have one damaged tooth and she recommended a crown to fix that issue, but otherwise she recommended a gingivitis cleaning before hand which would be another scheduled visit. Fortunately, I had Blue Cross Blue Shield which covered the full examination price. I do appreciate the fact that they realize that the patients need to know certain costs going forward. As I was checking out, I was given a full detailed expense report on what my out-of-pocket expenses would be depending on the services I chose. If I decide to proceed with getting a crown, at least I know what my share of the cost is. I liked the upfront and honest approach to all the aspects concerning my visit. 10 informative photos included to add more insight into what you can expect as well.

Went for replacing a filling in the last few months, they discovered other cavities that had to be removed. Had to speak with endodontist about potential root canal, they cleared me as fine -- the standard cavity removal was fine it wasn't deep enough to require a root canal - prior to the dentist doing the actual removal. **Remember this detail. They do the initial removal, using lidocaine in the gums to do the removal. The dentist used the side of the drill for the tooth, but the tip of the drill stabbed, dragged, and tore apart my upper gums/cheeks! Next morning the top/side of my cheeks were WHITE and in immense pain that it was hard to eat. **It was during this appointment they tried telling me very "assuringly" that I needed to get the root canal done, which I informed them that that was incorrect as I spoke to the endodontist myself and they said it wasn't needed. They went and confirmed it with the endodontist and pretended like they never argued with me about it. Nice. During this appointment, I understand now that she not only destroyed the large area of tissue inside of mouth but also shaved off way more than was supposed to be taken out off of my teeth! I decided to ride it out with my torn apart gums/cheek but brought it up when I went in for my permanent crowns. (I should have been even more vocal about this, but I've been a patient of the medical industry long enough to know being ignored by the medical professionals that are supposed to help you is the status quo! I didn't want to waste my time being ignored, I digress.) Permanent crowns appointment, I bring up my gums damage which is still slightly visible after healing over the course of two weeks between appointments. They say, "Ah. Y'know. That happens. She does that sometimes. Anyways!" Sorry, ripping up the inside of your mouth to shreds is NORMAL? That's a sick joke. It takes at least twice as long than the appointment is supposed to take because when they removed the temporary crown and did ANYTHING to clean it out to put the permanent one in - it was excruciating (because the nerve is exposed!) They had to numb my mouth AGAIN because it was so excruciating. They also couldn't get my mouth to stop bleeding for over an hour DUE TO BEING TOO CARELESS AND AGGRESSIVE WITH MY GUMS. I left the appointment thinking the pain I still felt was a natural normal byproduct of removing temporary moving into permanent crowns. Then weeks turned into months, and I wasn't able to chew on the right side of my mouth without excruciating pain -- STILL CAN'T. Can't drink cold things on that side of my mouth etc. I called informing them of my issue a month or two later, saying what I think happened and I would like to be seen regarding this issue and that I do not want to be seen by the same dentist as I'm confident she was the issue as the only person who did the actual dental work. They said, "oh, okay. we'll reach out." I am here around 5 months later, completely ignored by this office and with genuine nerve damage in my mouth. I am now being forced to seek legal representation for this absolute negligence and malpractice in order to repair what I can of the damage done to me by this office/dentist. Incredibly unprofessional to argue with a patient and belittle their pain that wasn't accusatory, rather simply asking how the pain is coming about and asking them as medical professionals, I am supposed to trust, how they can help me. Do NOT go here to this office or at the very least do not seek or take care under the main dentist. If she's not there now, she was the one there back in July to September. BUT there were several Dental Assistants that were equally as dismissive as the dentist was as well. Hope this helps! *Never written a review & I don't want to ever have to do one again, but it seems communicating directly with the office privately isn't how this will be acknowledged. So, I hope this helps get to a responsive channel.

He didn't have cavities or require services beyond the basics. Dr. Bash wasn't flat out rude, but he seriously lacked bedside manner. Which is major as his patients are children. He appeared to be "heavy handed" when doing a physical task. I chose to ignore him because his staff did all of my son's cleanings, with Dr. Bash only coming in afterwards for review, apply Fluoride and conduct parent consultations. On the morning of Monday, August 1st I took my son into the office as I had concerns about his front bottom baby tooth which was literally dangling as the primary tooth came in behind it. Because my son was uncomfortable with pulling it himself, I requested that it be extracted. Dr. Bash's staff explained a local anesthetic would need to be applied (via needle) as well as a numbing gel along with oxygen. Dr. Bash further explained he would extract the second baby tooth as it too would eventually dangle. I was extremely nervous and confused as to why the second tooth which was in-tact needed to be removed in advance of it naturally coming out. I was further nervous as I was told I couldn't be in the procedure. I scheduled the procedure for later that afternoon and was told after insurance, the patient pay would be $142.00.I spoke with husband who was extremely concerned (major understatement!). He called Dr. Bash's office and insisted that I be allowed in the procedure room. Afterwards he researched the reviews and found they echoed our concerns. At that point we decided to cancel the appointment and find a different dentist. Today, Wednesday, August 3rd we went to the new dentist who ONLY used a numbing. He and his staff had great bedside manner which was comforting to both me and my son. Additionally, the office's policy is for parents to accompany children in the procedure room! As soon as the dentist was certain the numbing gel was activated, he distracted my son by talking and within 1 minute pulled the tooth by hand without tools (again it was literally dangling). He stated the other tooth (which Dr. Bash stated needed to be extracted) would naturally come out. My son left the appointment pain-free, smiling and proud as the staff told him how he "helped" by being brave - smile. Total patient pay following insurance was $54.00. We will miss Dr. Bash's kind, professional staff, however we don't trust Dr. Bash with our son's dental (and overarching) health. If your child needs basic (i.e., cleanings) care I'm comfortable recommending Dr. Bash as he will have little interaction with your child. If your child requires more extensive work, I absolutely do NOT recommend Dr. Bash for all the reasons I previously explained.
