I was super happy. they had a deal going on at the point and I could get another backup glass for less than $150. After a month, we picked up that as well. It was all great. We visited in between for some adjustments and they did it so well. Now when it comes to my glasses, I picked up a frame, they checked my insurance and they did the math - it came around $600. I asked the guy who helped me why it's that costly, I had never paid more than $200 for my glasses ever. He said there are some changes to my prescription and for those glasses my insurance is not covering much. He showed me a few options and finally I ordered mine. I went there again for another pair - this time a reading glass - nothing fancy. It was another person who helped me this time. With a decent frame, it came around $400. I was curious when I saw that amount. He mentioned that my insurance is charging out-of-netwok - that's the reason the cost is high. Then I asked him to check my order - which is already in processing. He confirmed that I was charged the out of network rate - which the first person never mentioned it to me. I ended up canceling that order and did my orders elsewhere - costed me $145 and $120. I never understood why they hid the fact that insurance is charging at out-of-network rate. I understand that customer may not have checked whether LensCrafters fall under in-network or out of network. These are grey areas which change every year when you renew / change the insurance. Why don't they show the minimal courtesy to inform the customers about these details. You may get a few orders, but how long will you get on with it??? Never again!

They even caught a stigmatism that was missed by my previous eye doctor which made a big difference on how I saw things. Now where star were lost were: 1. I feel as if this clinic kinda nickel and dimes you. Of all the vision clinic's I've been to over the years, this is the only place I can't seem to go to w/o always having to pay for something out of pocket. If it's covered by insurance there's something that they say it isn't and it'll cost you. To top it off, their products are pricey with regards to frames, lenses, contacts, services, etc. My last visit I had at Mill Creek Vision for my annual preventative eye exam, but they got me out of pocket for contact lens fitting (which I thought was covered my insurance, but they claim it isn't), Anyhoo, afterwards I asked for copies of my glasses and contact prescriptions and took them to Costco and purchased all my hardware there (despite jumping through some minor insurance hoops to get my annual hardware allowance back-which I did). Gotta tell ya, definitely more cost effective going that route. 2. But the biggest loss of stars in my rating is due to their front desk staff. A staff that DOES NOT know the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE and lacks a certain amount of professionalism. They are very condescending in how they talk and treat their customers. I base this on how they were with me and my family and how I observed them with other customers while I waited. There is one or two who stand out. If you've been there you probably know who I'm talking about. Anyhoo, they will make you feel as if you are interrupting them, putting them out for "Doing their job". They don't always do what is best for the patient/customer so if you don't ask, or question something chances are it'll get overlooked, ignored and you might get over charged or something forgotten. It doesn't help also that they seem to rush you at check in and during check out so they can get back to finger blasting their keyboards or phones. Again based on personal experience. The first three appointments I was able to schedule me and my family for the same day. If there's availability why not? Last time I tried to do it and despite open availability they denied it. Their reason I was told on the phone, they CAN'T schedule more than two family members at a time. WHAT? REALLY? So I ask why not, you've done it before and they tell me that it's policy. I try and continue to ask specifics about this policy and I'm told again, it's their policy and something about cancellation issues. Yeah whatever, I figure they're just being lazy. Policy or not, kinda ridiculous that they can't accommodate two adults and a child on the same day...oh wait a minute they have! but not today. Then there's a test that they do that looks at the back of your eyeball. You'd think it's a test that SHOULD be standard to an eye exam. It is an eye exam after all...it isn't so it'll cost you since it's NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE as part of your PREVENTATIVE CARE. Of course you can pass and instead they dilate your eyes for free I think (or maybe that'll cost you as well, I don't know, but what I do know, I've had that same test in other clinics and it was covered by insurance). Trying to get them to explain results in dirty looks and a mean-girl attitude...an no REAL explanation. So the "face" of the business does not make a good impression and they obviously don't realize that it's just as important as the service provided. This would be my 4th appointment to this vision clinic, but the front desk staff attitude has been pretty much consistent through out. So me and my family will probably be on the look out for another vision clinic. Too bad their front desk staff doesn't have the same customer service skills their optical staff does.

Be very aware that your treatment is based on how much money this office can get from your visit. I saw my insurance statement that they wanted to charge almost 4 times of the insurance allowance. Because they know they would not be able to get the money they want, they treated my eye exam very casually. The tech took two tests that lasted less than 2 minutes. The doc took less than 4 minutes flipping a few charts of 1 better or two better, then wrote my eye exam prescription, which is the exact same as the that of the eye glasses I wore that day. I spent a lot more time signing many documents and waited in front than the total time for the actual eye exam. Do NOT recommend this place to anyone. The practice can be defined as unethical!

I am truly upset and disappointed with our experience at Eye Doctors of Everett. This visit was for…read moremy child, and from start to finish it was extremely frustrating and stressful. Even with a scheduled appointment, we waited over 45 minutes, and the front desk staff was rude and dismissive instead of apologetic. When we finally saw the doctor, the appointment felt rushed and careless. I did not feel confident in the results at all, and I left worried that my child's prescription might not even be correct. When I immediately asked to cancel the glasses order the same day, I was flatly refused with no clear explanation. What made this even worse was the complete lack of communication afterward. I called multiple times the same day and again the next day, but no one answered the phone or returned my calls. As a parent, being ignored when you are concerned about your child's vision is unacceptable. This experience caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. I trusted this clinic with my child's eye care and left feeling unheard, dismissed, and deeply disappointed. I would never return and strongly warn other parents to look elsewhere.

Nikki, the store manager at Bothell Bella Vision requested that I fill out a form the day I bought the $200 Ray Ban frames. I didn't feel it was necessary so Nikki stated "I did not have to fill it out"; it was never mentioned that it was a warranty. When I called two days later to return the frames, I was informed because I didn't sign the paperwork, the warranty was "NULL and VOID". There was a day break from the time I bought the frames before Thanksgiving, and they were closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday. I stayed in town for the weekend to physically stop by on Monday to discuss the frames I bought; they were too big. I told The optical rep, not Nikki, there are no signs anywhere stating frames are not refundable. She said "we tell everybody". I said you didn't tell me! She asked me if I wanted to buy another pair of glasses. Really, another pair of nonrefundable frames. I asked if that made sense to her; she said, "yes". I requested a copy of the alleged warranty paperwork; the sales assistant refused to cooperate. There is no such warranty documentation because I went to another Bella Vision store in the local area and requested the warranty form; it does not exist. It is simply a form to get your name, address, email and phone number possibly for future business. The form is for them not to benefit you. This is how Bella Vision makes money and stays in business by deceiving customers. They tell you after you buy the frames there is no warranty. Unless you get your eye exam, frames, contacts and glasses there, it will not be covered under warranty. I recommend you read the reviews before doing business with this company. Bella Vision in Bothell lied about telling me the frames are not refundable and lied about a warranty for frames. BY THE WAY - the best way to tell customers THERE ARE NO JREFUNDS ON FRAMES is to display signs stating "NO REFUNDS ON FRAMES". There should be a law that a sign displays NO REFUNDS. Be mindful to ask the right questions before you do business with Bella Vision of Bothell. Each and every one of the staff was kind and helpful. I interacted with four or five of them. I brought in my new patient form and they were pleasantly surprised I had been prepared. Some places in the past would get annoyed if you weren't, but here they were fully prepared to help you get started. I got the rest of the paperwork from one girl, and handed it to another once I finished- who were both just soft and polite. I was early, so I took a look at the frames while I waited and was helped by another woman to pick out a different color in my selection. She was totally willing and ready to look at each and every color if I wanted. So grateful for their patience. I saved her some time and asked what the blue ones were and got that picked out before I was called back. The beginning tests were quick, and the woman doing them was just as kind as the rest. Finally I went back to see the doctor. All-in-all I was running on time, so I was happy, but my high recommendation polishes off because this was the first doctor to really sit down and tell me what was wrong with my eyes. The first Walmart doctor I had gone to had said it looked bad, but barely explained the full extent. So, for years I went around not knowing how scarred my eye is, and thinking it was just bad astigmatism. I'm so glad to feel like I really know what's going on with my vision and feel like the whole staff cares.

But my experience was nothing short of awesome, from the customer service to the screaming deal I got on two pairs of glasses! First of all, Samantha made me feel like a VIP. It actually didn't take me very long to locate the two frames that I wanted (their selection was really good, and I chose two Ray Ban frames around $160 or so each). I was really shocked and awed when I only ended up spending less than half of the $500 budget I had come in with. Samantha made sure that I got the most out of my vision benefits in conjunction with their Buy One Get One Free deal. I saved so much money I went and bought something nice downstairs at the Lands End shop! Anyways, Samantha never stopped being enthusiastic about helping me from making sure I understood all my options to making sure that I walked away with the best deal possible. She restored my faith in customer service! When I went back to pick up my glasses about two weeks ago, I was disappointed that Samantha wasn't working, but the young gal that helped me (I don't remember her name) was very nice and she had several customers all waiting at the same time, but was attentive to everyone, which isn't easy to do. She fitted my glasses for me and I was out of there lickity-split. It has been two weeks, and I absolutely LOVE my glasses!
