BBQ Chicken platter, salad baked Potatoe and Italian bread.
    Stephanie G.

So the last time I ate here was maybe 10 years or more ago. I always remembered their baked Potatoe . I came here for lunch and sat in to eat . I had the BBQ chicken platter , backed Potatoe and salad . For their drink I mixed their homemade lemonade with their fruit punch . The food was so good , just as it was years ago . The juice was really good as well and was not too sweet . I paid under $20 for an amazing lunch . The customer service was also outstanding , just as I remembered from before .

While shopping in 125th I decided to step in and have a meal. I was was immediately welcomed and the staff made me feel comfortable. I had the big daddy steak cooked medium well. It wasn't the greatest but it was made fresh and was edible. I wanted the mash potatoes but they ran out, i had to.settle.for the yellow rice and salad. Rice was ok and the garlic bread could of used more attention. The meal wasnt overpriced and the menu seems to have some other options that i would like to try. When i was in the restaurant I noticed alot of people were eating the seafood, my next choice when i visit again

This food was so good. It's a nice spot. You can sit down and eat while watching TV too. The portions are great. I was able to eat this twice and I'm a big eater. It comes with a side, garlic bread, and a salad. I love coming here. Great service

I was eating the broccoli and I seen something in my broccoli, thank God I look before I eat

Great value, great food! They are known for their ribs, no surprise! My first time eating at Pee Dee's was great- the service was quick, food was delicious and you get a lot for your money! I can see why it's so popular in the neighborhood, given we all can't hit up 5-star steak houses everyday, this place fills that need for good steak, bbq, anything you could want as a carnivore at a great price. And as many of my past reviews would indicate- I'm a sides girl all the way! Anyplace with good sides is for me! They have it all, mac'n cheese, crab, corn on the cob, loaded mash potatoes, fries, jumbo onion rings, collard greens, and the list goes on and on. And a side note- if the Clinton's (especially Bill) likes this place, you know it's good BBQ, c'mon, Billy boy knows his stuff! They've been known to order their election staff tons of food during election season as their offices are near by! For fast and convenient BBQ- this is ideal for anyone!

I'm so glad that I decided to walk down 125th St en route to my destination or else I wouldn't have stumbled across this gem in the middle of the block between 5th Ave and Lenox Ave. There are several things that I liked about this place, but my favorite would be the ability to see your meal prepared right in front of your eyes. The man behind the counter was very nice and quite friendly, and so was the rest of the staff. PD is the abbreviation for Pee Dee. My son and I ordered the chicken fingers lunch which came with the following choices, baked potato or rice, salad or coleslaw and garlic bread. The chicken wings choices are buffalo, BBQ, grilled teriyaki, applewood BBQ or fry. There are several surf and turf items available and several house combos for your liking. The prices are reasonably priced and I believe the food is worth it. The salad was really good as well. They gave a real salad and not a salad of just lettuce. The food was very good and it was enough to satisfy you. I will definitely come back to PD Steak II to dine again. My dining experience was great!

Stopped by for lunch and was impressed by the variety of options and cleanliness of restaurant. Affordable lunch offerings from $10-14, including sirloin steak, fish and chips, chicken fingers. Combo plates come with option of baked potato/rice/fries and salad/coleslaw. Some options are better than others, I wish the consistency was better. Overall, I would visit again because employees are nice and food is pretty good!

It's a perfect date night spot to share deliciousness with a loved one. My friend and I shared three flavorful dishes-- a radicchio salad, the Confit Duck Leg and the Paccheri, a pasta with house- made pork sausage and broccoli rabe. The duck was so tender it fell off the bone. The pasta was intricate and tasted perfect when it was first served then veered a tad salty as it marinated (but still great). The salad was gorgeous on its own but even better accompanied by the mains. The duck was probably my favorite, but every bite complemented the next thing so well, that all of my senses were thoroughly engaged. I truly was having such a deep experience with the food that at one point I asked my friend to stop talking so that I could properly take in all the flavors. Oops. She loved the food too, so thankfully she understood. We topped off the meal with the buñuelos. We liked the sauce, but I'd say it's not memorable. I liked my orange wine, and my friend was indifferent about her drink. It was a pricey dinner but such a worthwhile experience. Can't wait to go back.

The downstairs area is an especially cozy, inviting space. The food is safe but well-executed new American cooking. We shared the popular gnocchi, which was perfectly textured, and the chickpea mushroom burger, which was on the plainer side but had a hearty, fulfilling flavor. I enjoyed the thick-cut fries on the side as well. I would pass on the nut and buckwheat appetizer next time. This honestly felt like something you'd be served on a flight (but probably in business class, to be fair).

There's a camaraderie in the room that invites you to slow down, connect, and truly experience both the conversation and the food. Everything feels considered. My best friend and I each ordered the prix fixe menu, and it was a journey from start to finish. I began with the Spicy Corn & Coconut Soup--honestly, unforgettable. The crispy shallots added just the right amount of texture against the velvety base, and each spoonful layered flavor in a way that felt both comforting and elevated. For my main, I had the kichuri, and Chef Alex Guzman absolutely shines here. He is a star--full stop. There's a clarity and confidence in his cooking that you can taste. The cilantro chutney was perfection, and the way the mint lingers alongside the spice... it's the kind of balance that only comes from someone who truly understands their craft. You can feel his care in every bite. I ended with the key lime pie, and all I can say is thank you. The whipped cream was fresh and airy, the lime zest bright without overpowering, and the crust tied everything together beautifully. It felt like a thoughtful, intentional close to an already incredible meal. I highly recommend starting with the guava mocktail, then pairing your main with the fig mocktail--both are perfectly crafted and complement the dishes so well. Also, sit at the bar. Let Dan guide you through the experience. Trust his recommendations--you will not be steered wrong. He elevates the entire evening. And the playlist? Y'all really did that.

We both had Brussel Sprouts, good, but the bites without the sauce did taste like bland Brussel sprouts. I had the lamb ribs, very good. They do warn you before that the ribs have a bit of fat on them, I think in the context of NY restaurant week I'm happy to pay it but as a solo entree, the amount of fat vs meat would have annoyed me. My friend had the duck, she enjoyed it. But it is very much salad with a side of duck, I believe she had 6 pieces of duck (pictured) and then a mango, arugula and onion salad. Dessert was very good, but I do hope those are not the usual portion sizes and maybe they just served smaller for NY restaurant week. Which I really didn't mind as I was full from the entree and sprouts. Servers were really nice, this place seems to have its regulars and a nice garden sitting area towards the back. Would overall recommend

Luckily, we didn't have to wait long and were able to grab seats at the bar since we didn't have a reservation. That said, I'd definitely recommend making one if you plan to visit. It was crowded and pretty loud very quickly. We struck up a conversation with the bartender, who recommended the Sistah'Rita, and he couldn't have been more right. This unique twist on a margarita was fantastic. Sip it slowly and enjoy the flavor that the peach moonshine brings to the drink. For food, we tried the crab cakes and the jumbo shrimp & grits. The crab cakes were a slam dunk for me. They were packed with flavor and didn't need any help from the accompanying sauce. The shrimp & grits were equally impressive, with creamy, delicious grits topped with perfectly seasoned shrimp. BLVD Bistro is a great spot for lunch, drinks, or both. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. The catfish on a nearby table definitely caught my eye. But that's just my palate. Give it a try for yourself and let me know what you think!

Next time....yes planning for next time, I'm going to order the wings twice. Sauce was so good and with the ranch/blue cheese on the side - was amazing. For entrees, we ordered the shrimp & grits, fried chicken with blueberry pancakes, catfish breakfast with scrambled eggs well done cheddar cheese & mac n cheese with bacon. This was our first meal of the day & the food didn't disappoint at all! You nearly get a half of chicken with the fried chicken & pancake meal. Tasted a piece of the chicken skin and it was delicious! Crispy with a slight Cajun seasoning taste. Catfish was great, not greasy fried perfectly! The eggs were fluffy but well done, like I asked. The Mac n cheese was good too, would've loved more cheese - but still good. Ordered another Bevy & Glass Church when the entrees came. Everything was perfect! DJ was playing all the good music! We will definitely be back again & would highly recommend this place.
