It's Peet's!! Nothing much to add, everyone knows they know cofeee. This store is usually busy at all times for me so if you go please bring your patience or order ahead with the techie mobile app thingy. Dunno, I just make sure I go to enjoy and not in a rush. Good luck.

This location is always well staffed and clean. My go to drink is their ICED HAVANA CAPPUCCINO. It's very strong and made with condensed milk. So if you're in need of a GOOD pick me up try this drink. Also, their seasonal cups are adorable.

We visited Pets Coffee this morning for the first time. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The staff member who took our order got it wrong, and when we went back to fix it, the drink we received had cold coffee with milk simply poured on top--it was not prepared properly. Additionally, the staff member displayed a really poor attitude when we tried to resolve the issue. Everyone else we interacted with was friendly, but this particular employee clearly needs training in customer service, especially when dealing with first-time visitors. We hope management addresses this, as it was our first visit and we were excited to try a local favorite.

No iced coffee can ever compare to the deliciousness of what Peet's is. I'm obsessed. My husband brought me a nespresso to stop spending so much money here lol, but I still keep coming back. I LOVE PEETS SO MUCH. The baristas are always so nice and VERY TALENTED. My drink is always perfect and exactly what I imagine it to be, especially in the mornings when I really need it. Really helps me out in days I need a pick me up. Thank you everyone at Peet's. You guys are the best :)

It's November and the weather is still good enough for an ice cold frappe. My friend and I come here at least once a week not to mention the time my wife and I come here during the week. Anyways today we ordered two medium caramel frappe with add shot and add whip. Delicious as always. Service fast and friendly. Place is always clean and inviting . Music al says different too

Opens at 5am. But door won't open for service until they're done cleaning the lobby which should be done end of the shift the night before... people got work and I guess this will be the last time I'd get coffee before work. Don't want to get mad or else my coffee will not be made with love. Just a little friendly feedback to the management Happy holidays!

This place was been closed temporarily and I later came back realizing that they completely renovated it for a better cafe experience. I really think that this atmosphere is much better than the old one, which is too outdated and needs a change. They removed a doorway that allows people to come in for mobile pick ups, which I think it's better that way since to me, it's pointless having one there. The menus displayed are digital replacing the old ones that aren't. I think it's due to coming to an age where technology is very reliant for most businesses. I have no complaints about it at all. I thought that they will close this place permanently haha

I was craving coffee and thought I'll drop by to get a cup. I ordered a medium iced coconut black tie and gave them my name. After I paid, I waited at the side by the front door. I waited for around 10 min and still have not heard my name yet. Then I noticed a drink that was just sitting next to the cashier station and no one had bothered to call out the name of the drink or the name of customer who had ordered it. So 5 min later, I walked up to the cashier station, flagged a barista and asked for the name of the drink that was just sitting there. Since the drink matched what I ordered, I grabbed it and left. In terms of flavor, I thought the coffee tasted diluted. Customer service is pretty much non-existent at this place.

Ambiance Bathroom is filthy, it's like they don't clean it regularly, super gross. The only two places to plug your laptop or charger. It gets crowded inside and outside. Good and drink The food is overpriced, I had a matcha latte and chicken waffle. Far from impressed, you're better off elsewhere.

The management team at Peet's Coffee on Mowry Ave is a mess. A couple weeks ago I tell the shift leader (Alex), my drink is wrong, something is wrong, Alex was not the one that made the drink but she looks at my drink and the order and asks what's wrong and doubts me, I was like, I know something is wrong, there's usually more of the drink. She doubts me, so I leave. Alex did not offer to remake my drink or ask the barista if they followed my precise instructions. I get home and my mother tries my drink, which is suppose to have 5 shots of espresso in it, my mother says, the drink you got yesterday at McDonald's (3 shots) was stronger. So I was right. There was something wrong with my drink. They forgot to add the 2 shots. I come into Peet's the next day, to let the shift leader, Gasper, know what happened on the previous day. I told him, I ordered 2 drinks and they were both made incorrectly and that the shift leader, Alex, refused to acknowledge there was something wrong with the drink. I wanted to order 2 drinks that day and I asked Gasper if he could take care of it, due to what happened the day before. Gasper says, he can comp one of my drinks, but I'd have to pay for the other one. Gasper said, since Alex said no to remaking the drink, he can't say yes cause that would be on him. So I asked if I could speak to Jonathan, the store manager regarding this, and Gasper tells me, no, he was the manager on shift and he's the one enforcing the rules. Gasper also said Alex isn't here today to verify this happened yesterday. So he can't do anything about it. So I pay for my drink. After they make my drink, I ask, if Alex is here next time and can verify this happened, can you comp my drink? And Gasper is like no, since it's days after. So, I was upset and demanded to speak to the store manager. Gasper reached out to Jonathan, the store manager and let him talk to me. I told Jonathan what happened the day before and how Alex doubted me when I said something was wrong with the drink, and didn't offer to remake it, and how the drink I got 2 days ago at McDonald's, the 3 shots were stronger than the 5 shots I ordered. Jonathan listened to my problems and told me the next time I come in wave him down and he will comp my drink. Jonathan said, Gasper gave you one day today, right? I said yes. Jonathan said, he will comp the other drink the next time I see him. I was like great, thank you. Now it's been more than a week, and I have been to Peet's Coffee on Mowry Ave 3 or 4 times and I still haven't seen Jonathan for my comped drink. Jonathan did not tell his leaders or staff about my comped drink, so no one is willing to comp me a single drink. I came in to talk to Alex about this, asking if Jonathan was here, stating because he said he would comp my drink next time because I told him about the experience that I had with you on Sunday. Alex gets all defensive, and raises her voice at me, saying well she's been here for the last 2 days and, Gasper and Ashleigh (the assistant manager) and Jonathan, all of them didn't tell her anything. And how she can't comp my drink and I gotta get that from Jonathan. At the end, she gave me $3 off. I was like thanks. Yesterday, I go in and try to look for Jonathan. And Jonathan was off. So once again, I was no where close to getting my comped drink. I asked, when does Jonathan usually work and the employee was like, they don't know. It's random, sometimes he's here in the morning. I come into Peet's again today. I see Gasper, and I ask Gasper if Jonathan is there. Gasper says no. I explained to him, it's because Jonathan said he would comp my drink next time. And Gasper says, he doesn't know anything about that. I asked can you take care of my drink, (keep in mind, Gasper is the one that got Jonathan into this issue) Gasper says no, he doesn't know anything about it. I said can you call him. As a loyal, frequent customer, I was getting upset and frustrated with the misinformation and false hope I was given. I had looked for Jonathan 3- 4 times that week with no luck and it began to feel like I was never going to get my free drink. I asked Gasper if he could call Jonathan. Gasper said, no, Jonathan's off the clock, we don't call him. I'm like isn't he salary? Then Gasper gets offended, and says, Angela, you do not ask that. That is none of your business. I'm confused why Gasper was reacting this way. I asked a simple question, isn't Jonathan (the store manager position) salary? The question clearly meant, isn't he paid to deal with customer issues at any time. Because if you are a salary worker, you are expected to be available for work reasons at any time. And to my knowledge most store manager positions are salary, and even if Jonathan was an hourly employee, Jonathan could've done a timesheet edit.

It would be nice if they have tiny cup just for espresso.

I was visiting the bay area this week and was fortunate enough to go here twice! I love Peet's... but I live in NJ where there are none, so I have to get my fill when I'm in Calif. I always order the iced caramel lattes and they're always delicious! I love how the drinks are made--so artful, and the drinks come out so creamy! Yum! I guess I went during off-hours, because there was no line but a lot of people sitting--mostly on their laptops. read more

2stars for a very good coffee. I usually don't do reviews but I think I have to this time. I started going to this Peet's since we moved close by. I go here almost everyday! Then last saturday, I went there to get my usual machiatto. I noticed my card was swiped twiced so I checked my recent bank transactions and yes there was two transactions pending on the same date. It is still pending so I thought one will not go thru (I only order 1coffee everyday). Then went back to check again after buying last tuesday. And it was both posted. I got charged twice. A medium coffee and a large one. I got a large one that day. So while waiting for my coffee, I asked the cashier of what could've happened? Then cashier said she'll call the manager but came back to me again. I saw her talking to the manager but I think she wants her cashier to just talk to me so ok... then the cashier told me they usually swipe twice sometimes. I said, I know that happens but this time I got charged twice. Then the manager came and said it's not on them, it's the banks? Coz sometimes the previous transaction from different day can be posted on somedays. But I showed her my bank transactions and it was clearly on the same date. (The manager did not bother to look closely at what Im trying to show her that time) So she said, she'll give me a card to compensate on the charge that happened and looked over to the system then wrote the transaction number and my card number) So I was like thanking her and telling her I just want to clear what happened? Then she gave me the gift card. They we're not apologetic. Probably because it was a very small amount. Then when I went to the car and put the card on my purse, I saw the amount of the giftcard she gave. She gave me 2pcs of giftcard worth $1.70. When she told me that gift card is good for a macchiato. Really? I got charged twice for a medium size! I just hope they'll be more nice to their daily customers! read more

When it comes to the corporate coffeehouse world, I'd have to say I prefer Peets over the others. Their coffees are bold and really flavorful (basically it doesn't taste like the cheap crap they have at Starbucks). I also like that they carry vegan scones (since I don't eat dairy and eggs I hardly ever get to enjoy a good pastry with my coffee). The ambiance is nice and they have outdoor seating for those who smoke. read more

I hate to say this but... Peets is definitely good coffee.. if you are true coffee drinkers .. the coffee here is good.. the french roast is dark and flavorful.. the service may not be steller.. but this is a coffee shop with minimum paid employees... its nice to know you cant really screw up making coffee.... read more

Starbucks is all of a 3 min drive from my home or office and I get 10% off everything with my Gold Membership card. The baristas are so nice and friendly, they are like my home away from home! :) They often suggest a drink they think I would like or a taste of their latest yummy food. Peets is a 15 min drive from my home or office. The baristas scare the hell out of me. I love tattoos, I love piercing and I love them even combined. So it's not that they look different in any way. It's their attitude. Dog forbid I have a question or don't phrase something the way they are obviously trained to hear. Today I was sent to Peets by a mod of un-caffeinated coworkers. I happily obliged. I placed the standard orders of my co-workers and all was fine until I ordered a large iced coffee with whole milk and sweetened. At Starbucks they somehow know what that translates to from layman to barista. This unhappy, heavily tatted & pierced individual must have increased his gauges in his nose and ears too much, as he was just about as unfriendly and hostile as I have seen in the coffee slinging industry. His response was "And how do you expect me to achieve that?" This of course was muttered with the look of disgust on his face as if I had just asked him to reroof the place or make his ear lobes whole again. WTH. How do I expect you to put whole milk and sweetener in the cold coffee? Um, maybe, just maybe, with whole milk and some sort of sweetener. Maybe? WTH At that point he pointed to a few thermoses in the corner and told me he would leave room in the cup so I could make the iced coffee myself. Ok, so now I am paying $3.25 for an iced coffee and I have to make it? When I asked for my iced latte why didn't he tell me I had to add the milk myself to that too from their milk bar-o-plenty? Awesome customer service. I'll have to copy this on to Yelp.com too. I got back to work and asked the iced coffee drinker if he preferred the iced coffee from Starbucks or from Peets... he said McDonalds. Ok no winner there! Hands down, Peets lattes are better. Thanks to my mom and dad I have a coffee of the month subscription from Peets. Before the COTM present, I was 100% a Starbucks gal, however now I have 1 pound of month to enjoy of Peets, I now love and adore Peets, by mail... but still prefer Starbucks in person, only because of the baristas and their crappy attitudes @ Peets. I found this online when I was looking to see if there was a taste test or something between the two, and it made me laugh. "I don't like Starbucks or Peet's but find myself at Starbucks if I have to choose between those two just because it's so time consuming dreadlocking my hair and putting my nosering in just to get a cup of damn coffee." read more

I work right across the street from this location so it's the one I frequent most. The staff are always super friendly. The lines can get really long here so sometimes I get a little impatient. They recently upgraded their retail space to incorporate a tea brewing bar which incorporates a variety of teas to select from. They also re designed their pastry display and everything is definitely more eye catching..and most of the time my favorites (vegan scones, pumpkin ginger, vegan ginger spice cookies)..are gone by late afternoon =(. Yes, they have a lot of Vegan options so it's great for ones with Diary free diets. I am sure most coffee lovers are familiar with Peet's selection..but a highlight of this location is that it sits on the corner of the shopping center so there are tables that wrap around the store with a view (well not really a view..but it's along the side of the wonderful Paseo Padre Parkway..where you can witness, road rage, sometimes accidents and honking due to a poorly designed intersection nearby). The tables are usually always filled but if there is space it's a nice location if you need to do an off site meeting, catch up with friends..etc. read more

Guess i'm not the only who experienced a messed up order on this branch. How can they messed up a Decaf Cafe Latte?! They gave me Café au lait instead. I'm a Migraineur l can only have decaf. They got my name wrong, made wrong latte and thought they will make me new Decaf Cafe Latte (the barista apologized but the cashier who took my order blamed the other staff as he did mistake to another customer also. It's the cashier who messed up anyway - got my name wrong and verbally told the staff my order is latte )....waited in front of the barista waited waited until she asked me "Can l help you?Are you waiting for something?"....I'm waiting for my Decaf Cafe Latte that was messed up and just walked out. I'm sticking at Starbucks! Because at Starbucks they are more systematic in ordering, they even label the coffee with either your name/receipt order and when they make mistake they will prioritize your coffee right away. Care to offer if customer wants receipt or not so we know ahead of time if our order got it right or wrong. read more

The best place ever! I was at Petes the day 5/13/14 when this so called negative experience happened to T.C. and it's all lies, not what happened at all! She was never talked to in a bad way what so ever. I don't see why people that don't get there way try to tarnish a great place to go and enjoy the great attitude of the staff, most of all Ms Brianna who goes out of her way to help in anyway. :) If you take a look at what most say, it's all good. One bad apple needs to be tossed away, like the poor comment! There coffee is the best strong coffee I get weekly 2 or 3 lbs a week, no lie! Ignore the ignorant and lies of others, go there yourself and see how great it is! :) read more

Favorite coffee joint in Fremont. The baristas have a great attitude and have cultivated a relationship with the community of which Starbucks is devoid. Sometimes it can get busy, but the team plows through the line like a machine on caffeine. Ask for Mark, he will learn your name by heart and crack the occasional joke. -Matt read more

I love Peets. If you really like the taste of coffee then Peet's is the place to go to. You could actually taste the coffee if you order the sweetened drinks also. I'm an Americano drinker no sugar or cream and its great here. Bye Bye Starbucks... read more

Good location for Peets. Close to bart right next to chipotle. A lot of the coffee here is a bit too strong and bitter for my taste. However I do enjoy their mochas and their jasmine tea coolers in the summer. read more

I came here real quick to grab an iced coffee. There was no one in line so i was in and out in under 3 minutes which was super nice (especially for a coffee house) my only gripe is the staff wasn't too friendly. i'm kind of a stickler for customer service so i always get a little disappointed when service doesn't meet my expectation. Besides that little snafu this place is decent enough for me to want to come back. read more

I used to come to this Peet's all the time when I lived in this area. I went here yesterday, for the first time in around 6-8months, and was totally surprised the store was completely remodeled. They have a marketplace now which you can pick a specific bean or tea and they will make your drink with it--I thought that is super cool. And of course, the coffee tastes super good as always and the staff here is awesome! I have to give this place 5 stars, because I have only had good experiences here! read more

I'm not the biggest coffee drinker but, peets is a nice establishment to go to. Despite being FREEZING COLD inside (to the point that you need to wear a jacket) it has a warm vibe. Nice place to sit, talk, maybe read a book too. Good customer service as well and drinks come out fast. read more

I usually refused to review chain stores just on principal but I really like their white mochas here because they are not disgustingly sweet and there isn't syrup left at the bottom of your cup. The people here are nice but I don't think I would ever come here and hang out. There are tables to sit at and free wifi but kind of a weird vibe for me. But I'm perfectly satisfied getting my drink and going. read more

I love me some Peet's. Shortly after my son was born, I used to come to this Peets as my mommy "break time" on Saturday mornings. So there's definitely a soft spot for this Peet's for me. There is plenty of seating inside (as well as an outdoor patio) which is a plus because there are always lots of people there. read more

Unfortunately, these drinks are not very strong at all :/. I'm sure you can customize your drinks, but as they come, they are extremely sweet! The initial sip of the biscoff latte tastes the most like its name sake, but after a while, it just tastes like your run of the mill vanilla latte. The pistachio latte on the other hand has a slight pistachio / floral taste to it, but it really doesn't have all that strong of a taste to it either. Overall, I wouldn't say that the lattes are bad, but they're just alright, especially for what you pay for. I appreciate how friendly and helpful the barista was, but the overall pickup process was frustrating and made it seem like my online order had been overlooked. I hope the store can provide additional training to ensure online pickup orders are handled more consistently and that customers are acknowledged and kept informed while they wait.

As a long-time regular customer who visits this location every morning, I was extremely disappointed by the level of service I received during my most recent visit. I asked a simple question regarding the pricing of coffee sizes, and instead of receiving a courteous response, I was met with a rude and unprofessional tone from the cashier. To add to the poor experience, she handed me a hot medium coffee without providing a cup sleeve, which is not only inconsiderate but also a basic oversight in customer safety and service standards. It appears that there has been significant staff turnover recently, and unfortunately, some of the newer employees do not demonstrate the professionalism or customer care that returning patrons deserve. This experience has made me reconsider my daily visits. read more

I have been going to this place for over 11 years, but lately my mocha orders have been awful that I don't even want to give them two stars. It taste so bad: It tastes too sweet when I am about to finish my coffee because they don't stir it well like they used to, and I used to be able to taste that roasted coffee taste, but now the overall taste is weird or too bitter. I have been getting the same order for years. Some of them employees don't respond, just stare at you, so strange. If you try to tell them what you wanted then they try to be defensive. Seriously, some of them should be trained how to make good coffee and communicate well by being a good listener. There is always room for improvement. read more

While waiting for prescription at Walgreen's we were craving for some coffee. The coffee is basically over roasted. Nothing amazing about the coffee. They leave their coffee storage bins open. Aroma is awesome but not the best way to store the coffee. Hope the dust balls get grounded really fine...YUK! Their tea selection is fairly limited and very pricey for prepacked junk.. Fremont needs tea shop (NO not bobo stuff.. real tea shop!) Service was better than Starbucks!! The Indian chick was hotter than the coffee they serve. There was no place to seat but outside as they have just four tables. Go to Paddy's, Bay St or Suju's if you want place to chill. Suju's got the best selection of teas! read more

This place saves my life every morning, I go in and come out with an iced coffee, black with no sugar and boy does it give me the kick I need. The Batista seems to have remember my name and my brand after only a couple visits. Very friendly. Though it does get crowded during morning rushes and at noon and overall a nice place to hang out and enjoy a cup of coffee. The speed of service is 4 stars but still better than some other Coffee Shops around the same area. The quality of the coffee (lattes, coffee, Fraps) is 5 out of 5 on my scale (although some other customers I've chit-chatted with rank them 4 out of 5). Overall, I do recommend this place. Restrooms are messed by a couple with a dog (looks like homeless in their mid 30s) everyday. They (a dog, a lady, & a man together in individual restroom) stayed minimum of 20 minuets and sometimes 45 minutes. Doing what? Sex? Drug? Or something worse? At least 3 or 4 customers complained about it to the store manager & staffs. Nothing changed. Still happening just about when I am posting it now!!!!! They have a daily menu now, I think to condense things so they don't have to keep a wide variety of items in stock. this is another place i go for coffee. perfect lighting. it feels very welcoming. just gets over crowded some times but otherwise its great spot to visit if your in the area. also decent parking. employees are really nice everytime. good job guys read more

I am buying coffee from here because it is close my home. Weekdays are ok , but weekends are horrible for coffee. I believe they don't change coffee at the correct time. Taste was burned and it made my stomach sick. read more
