Excellent coffee and customer service, recommend

If I need one or two items at Faletti's or money from the BofA ATM, Peet's is an easy stop. The staff is always courteous, the espresso's strong but not bitter, free parking in the small private lot outside. Terrific neighborhood location.

Convenient Location. Free Parking in Lot & Neighborhood. Outdoor Tables for Seating. Efficient Staff. Tasty Drinks. Currently (July 2022) Half Off Cold Beverages after 2PM. See Below for More Info: Convenient Location: Located between Oak and Fell on Broderick, this Peet's location is convenient for people spending a part of their DMV to those in NOPA/Haight neighborhoods wanting a drink or baked good. Free Parking in Lot & Neighborhood: There is parking in the lot. However, the parking is tight, and there are not that many spots (less than ten). You can park along Oak and Fell Streets for two hours for free as well. Outdoor Tables for Seating: While indoors is only for ordering and getting orders, there are a few outdoor tables for seating. These are covered by the building. However, there is not heater, so dress warmly if you tend to run cold. Efficient Staff: The location tends to be busy. Yet, Peet's staff is efficient. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to place and get my order. Tasty Drinks: Baristas are consistent at their craft. My drinks have always been tasty at this location thus far. :) Currently (July 2022) Half Off Cold Beverages after 2PM: Peet's is currently (July 2022) having an afternoon promotion. Specifically, all cold drinks are half off (50%) after 2PM until store closing. Such a deal is great and makes Peet's a nice happy hour option.

I'm not as into Peet's Coffee since I go to more independent coffee shops and if I had to choose between Starbuck's and Peet's, I choose Starbuck's. Today a group went to Peet's near the DMV. I got a medium iced mocha. It was alright.

This is a bad iced coffee, way too much milk, they do this every time, I can't even see the color of the coffee anymore

After my last review it seems that I've wasted a lot of money on coffee's that are not made right, take a look at this iced coffee and how completely white it is filled with milk, you would think the people that work at Pete's drink coffee too and would know that that's way too much to put in, especially when I asked for just a splash. Not the first time this has happened and I'm sure it won't be the last..... talk to your employees about making a proper ice coffee ... shouldn't look Snow White . Can't even see the color of coffee lol

Everyone knows that I'm not a morning person and have a terrible attitude without my morning cup of coffee. It was 8am in the morning and I wanted my coffee pronto before heading over to the DMV. No one likes the DMV ... The guy at the register ... Poor guy. I guess he was newbie. I believe his manager was training him and she wasn't happy how he was working the register. He basically had 2 females (me and the manager) glaring at him to get his job done correctly! Finally, he was able to ring me up so I can go on my merry way and get my coffee. I have never had this kind of service at Peets so I was surprised, I was unhappy with the service here. However, the barista made it up to me by drawing me a latte art on my vanilla latte. I'm pretty much a sucker for anything cute & sweet. I'm still docking off a star because of the newbie ... P.S. I do agree with my fellow yelper, Susy C. how this location feels like I'm at a ski resort!

So you've survived another trip to the DMV--you definitely deserve a delicious Peet's pumpkin latte, right? (And PS, is the DMV still completely out of pens? It's things like that that turn an already tense place into an outright war zone). One block over from Baker (and one Peet's shy of a baker's dozen for me) is this little place located in "Falletti Plaza", a green-and-grey shingled MUC that probably invites scorn from the hipst-architect crowd, but, as bland modern developments go, I actually kind of like it (reminds me of Seattle). Of course, being attached to Falletti Foods, this Peet's almost qualifies as a "licensed" location (you know, the "mind-numbingly dull kiosks" that even the Starbucks guy won't deign to visit). But I guess since they have their own entrance and their own room we can count it as a "real" Peet's (besides, Peet's != Starbucks && Falletti != Safeway). Still, there's no indoor seating, just some patio tables off the parking lot (which at least is cuter than the parking lot at the Potrero Center Peet's).

Still not an exemplar of fast, efficient service. Got bored waiting for a clerk to stop trying to pick up a customer and left.

They explained that the flight includes an espresso shot, espresso shot with milk, hot coffee, and iced coffee. I hadn't had a straight espresso shot before, so this wasn't for me personally just because it was so overpowering. I enjoyed the other three though. Like the majority of SF, parking is difficult to locate. I was dropped off nearby the location. There is indoor and outdoor seating; I was able to grab an empty spot late in the morning on a weekend, but I don't think seating is always readily available. It's not a huge space.

At 11 am on a Sunday they were out of their best- black sesame Kouign Amann and the Raspberry Almond Croissant, which I took care of by paying a visit to Juniper bakery (sister business) later in the day. The Mocha with the house made nut milk fell flat. It needed something. I am not a fan of syrupy coffees and appreciate the more purist approach but this one just didn't do anything for me. The chai latte which I would never order was actually the best chai latte I have ever had, it was smooth like silk. Maybe I just had the wrong coffee order. Besides that, got the hot chocolate and the coffee tasting. I was surprised there was no explanation provided with the coffee- I figured it's all Honduran but an overview of some sort would have helped. I enjoyed all the coffees in there except the latte. Will visit again, earlier in the day so they are not out of their best sellers and try a different order.

I have gone to Blackbird a handful of times and have enjoyed the experience each time. Blackbird is primarily a bookstore, but they do have an outdoor window where you can order drinks ranging from matcha (Rocky's Matcha, if you're curious about which brand they use), lattes, and tea. They also carry a good amount of pastries (even mid-day, they have a lot of goodies), which I really appreciated. When you order your drink, you have to enter inside the bookstore to wait for your drink to be called, but you can take the time to stroll around and look at their book selection and trinkets. Heads up: the seating here is limited but very lovely. Inside, there are a couple of community tables, but their outdoor area is absolutely magical, with lush greenery and benches for you to enjoy your drinks. This time around, I got one of their seasonal drinks, a honey lavender vanilla latte, and I paired it with an Earl Grey olive oil loaf. The portion of the pastry was generous and moist, while the icing was not too sweet. Overall, a great pick for a cafe if you're in the area.

Matcha latte with whole milk : It's very savory which is great, unsweetened by default. I thought this was one of the better matchas I've had if you want to be able to taste the matcha strongly. Olive oil spelt cake: It reminds me of pound cake. Not that sweet except the frosting/icing. It was okay but as someone who's not as fond of that kind of cakey texture, I'd probably not get it again. They have a really lovely garden and patio in the back. There is also a bathroom. The acoustics and set up for events isn't great, though. It was hard for me to concentrate on the speaker for the book talk since you can hear the noises from the cafe behind and also the sounds of other store customers all around you. That was the only downside, but I think it's a very charming bookstore otherwise.
