Every single time i order a bagel from here they ALWAYS forgot to put something i asked for. I ordered a Bagel with bacon / tomato & onions & cream cheese . I look at my bagel & theres NO TOMATOES. its like they dont even look at what is written on the order WHEN MAKING THE FOOD

This is one of my favorite coworking/remote working spots near me for their numerous seats, long hours (for a cafe), solid Wi-Fi, cheap eats, and nice workers! I usually come by multiple times a month and stay for the whole day. I don't usually buy coffee here - I'm a bigger fan of their bagel sandwiches and salads. Workers have always been super friendly and talkative to me. I have also tried to practice my Spanish with them! Lots of seating with counters and a sofa! Always a pretty clean space. Tends to have more customers in the early morning and when school gets out. I personally think it's a great space in the Divisadero/Lower Pacific Heights area and will continue to support!

We went to Cumaica to get my coffee fix. I had a large house coffee and my husband had a hot mocha with almond milk. Both were excellent and my husband said his was the best mocha he has had. We also ordered a carrot bread and a banana nut chocolate bread. Both were very good and the chocolate added to the banana bread was exceptional. Service was quick and friendly. The walk in entrance is clean and inviting with a great selection of snacks and burritos in an open air case. There also is a menu board with a large assortment of prepared sandwich and bagel options to be made to order. I highly recommend it, You will not be disappointed.

Yummy Tuna Pasta Salad plus a Pastry

Late Lunch via Cumaica , only an image of the food because my focus was on getting in and out given my car was questionably parked :) As for the shop it was very spacious, clean, well organized, and the women that helped me were very pleasant. My meal, a very filling & tasty Tuna Pasta Salad which would easily have been enough for 2 if partnered with a Salad or 1/2 Sandwich. No Salad for me though :) I still had some more work to do so I partnered it with a Yummy Pastry. To be honest I do have a bag of Salad in the Fridge, but there is probably a greater then 50% chance it will meet the same fate as the last 2 (green can). In any case it was a nice Lunch :)

Lox bagel...just remember that. lox bagel. Had that while I waited for my b patisserie baked goods to be boxed. It's right across the street. I was told it was delicious. It was. Perfect blend of your everything bagel, cream cheese and delicious lox with capers and purple onion slices. I enjoyed it on our drive to Sacramento so I cannot complain. Someone else got a regular bagel with cream cheese and said it had the perfect amount of cream cheese to bagel and it was very nice and warm. We ordered a warm chocolate which was rich but not too rich. Nice and hot and was just perfect. We didn't get the whipped cream that we asked but it's ok hot chocolate goes with very cold weather. Sweet and salty kind of breakfast= perfection

Veggie bagel (not vegan) with added sausage. Meat eaters need fiber too.

The Huz and I were staying at Japantown for my work retreat. Cumaica is about a 20-minute walk from the hotel. We were looking for an early morning coffee spot, so walking here became our routine. I don't understand any of the bad reviews because it seems to be a local spot, totally clean, and with solid coffee and food. They have enough to satisfy meat eaters and vegans. The workers were really nice and service was super efficient. Loved the bagel sandwich selection! There's also lots of seating if you need to eat or do simple work. These days, supporting small businesses is important. If you're in the area, I'd definitely try this out.

Pleasant place but mediocre coffee and absurdly slow service. 10 minutes to get a toasted bagel with butter?!

The lady that I was watching was there for the matcha and I can understand why now. We tried the Yuzu Matcha Air Cloud and a Caramel Latte because I felt like we needed to try the coffee since it's a Coffee shop though I have to say I was not a fan of the coffee. We arrived just before the line outside started to form. There's seating available inside with a couple of people that seemed to be working. We originally sat in the middle section with the small round table that can't be moved but then a table opened up. There's a gender neutral restroom available that always seemed to have a line though I guess that's what happens at coffee shops. ~~Service: Good. It was quick to order and surprisingly very quick to receive our drinks as well. ~~Best Part: The Matcha. The coffee was a bit too bitter but it could be due to the fact that I do prefer to drink dark roasts. ~~Worst Part: Nit though maybe it's just me where we were expecting there to be a trash at the entrance so that we could throw away our cups as we were leaving but I guess there's no room for the bins at the beginning so you have to walk to the back towards the restroom to throw it away. ~~Tips: Get the matcha. I wanted to get the velvet but it looked so basic compared to the Yuzu matcha air cloud. The Yuzu flavor itself was refreshing in the foam form but I'm very basic when it comes to flavors and shouldn't have mixed the foam in because it was messing with me. ~~Return: Probably not. I wanted to check the receipt because somehow 2 drinks was nearly $20 but I realized there wasn't even an option to get a receipt.

So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

Didn't realize the rose latte would come as a hot drink but it was still good. Opted for less sweet but was a little more sweet than expected compared to the Yemeni latte. Yemeni coffee was light and subtle with cinnamon. Milk cake was moist and not too sweet - texture reminds me of a les tres cake. It's located at the filthy corner of 4th and Clara, which made the outside smell of urine. Fortunately the cafe itself is pretty clean, which is a nice escape from the street. I ordered an Americano and my friend got one of their $8+ lattes, which were fine, but nothing special. My biggest gripe was the service and absolute scorn of the customer. My friend and I sat at the counter basically in a staring contest with the woman behind the counter, who just stared right back. After some 30 seconds, we finally flagging her down to place our order. After turning around the drinks suspiciously quickly, my friend and I sat down to catch-up in the empty cafe. Before long, the barista pumps up the volume, increasing higher and higher every 5 minutes or so, as if to signal to us that our time was up. I asked her to turn down the volume, which she tuned down from an 11 to a 7, but minutes later it continued to creep up, like the snooze setting of an alarm clock coaxing you to wake up - except in this case, to get out. Ultimately, the volume got unbearable and we finally threw in the towel and got out of there to let the barista enjoy her music.
