The store is very busy, regardless of the time of day. Yet the staff keeps the line moving and the coffee shop clean. There are also Peet's logo items for sale, along with coffee and teas. I really like the table set up. Some of them are at a nice level while they have a higher table with stools. This is very helpful to my wife, as she has mobility issues. Overall, this Peet's is a great place to go if you're looking to unwind or take a break.

There golden chai latte is great! Friendly service. The place is good to sit and work/study, pretty moderate noise.

A book and cup of coffee in the sun. As it gets cooler, this is a good spot to get a cuppa and some solar heating. I do have my favorite cafes with outside seating in the sun, this is up there on the list. Not number one, but up there. The only problem is ambience. Namely the outside seating is next to the exit for the shopping area. Other than that, there's a quaint simple garden outside and plenty of seating in the shade and sun. Ah, what about the coffee quality? The coffee is consistently Peet-ish. Invigorating as usual. The staff who pour and brew this caffeinated goodness are magic.

i'm sorry but this location just continues to go down hill. i place a mobile order so i can get my items quick, i arrive past the estimated time and it's still not ready. but first, when you try to walk in, you're bombarded by all these homeless people panhandling for money. and their inside doing the same! i walk in and wait to the side, no greetings or acknowledgment whatsoever. clearly this is a thing, since others have complained of the same thing. if this wasn't the closest one to my work, i would never come here. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

I have no idea if it's due to spotty phone service in this area or the update in the app but anyways after trying countless times trying to order on the app and having my order " canceled" and my bank being charged. There nothing showing up in my app. I was going to show him proof of charge on my bank. The guy Barista was kind enough to just make my order without questioning or asking for proof.Which I am very thankful for. Thank you for understanding. Ordered Cafe mocha New chicken and waffles - this is surprisingly pretty good. It's nice mix of sweet and savory. I would recommend trying it at least once. Thank you once again for not giving me hard time! Peet's fix your app!

This is without a doubt my FAVORITE Peet's Coffee location. Service is prompt and the drinks actually taste how they should!!! You'd think that would be something easy to accomplish.... Parking can be a little tight but patience is key. This Peet's Coffee is always clean, spacious, and the baristas are always hustling to get you out on your way. I've purchased teas, coffees, ice blended drinks, and baked goods- they never disappoint!! I appreciate my drinks never tasting watered down and made extremely poorly which is what I get at other locations. The baristas here LEGIT know what they're doing. 5 stars for the barista killing it on bar with the blue hair!! Thank you for renewing my faith in Peet's Coffee!! The other Peet's locations can learn a thing or two from you all!!

Best quality coffee at a chain store. It's my go to for any coffee drinks. I recommend the Havana cappuccino for anyone who hasn't tried it. It's some extra calories but delicious.

I need to go back because everything I ordered was iced and I want to try some of the hot drinks. The banana bourbon latte was good, I wish it had maybe a more pronounced banana flavor and that the bourbon came through more. But the oat milk and the coffee were so smooth and luxurious that it made the experience enjoyable. Important note: with Mitsua market and the busy food areas there, this plaza gets incredibly busy! It's not the best parking situation, so know that ahead of time.

Ordered: Dark Iced Chocolate Mocha and Nitro Cold Brew Bathroom: Yes WiFi: Yes This was our second time visiting and while we went into it with high expectations because of how much we enjoyed our visit (2 years ago), we did notice a dip in customer service and beverage quality. The espresso shot used in the iced mocha was not fully dialed to hit that balanced note that we are used to. The cold brew tasted more muddy than the previous time. Overall, the customer service seemed more like us inconveniencing the team, as opposed to being welcomed into the space. We noticed after we ordered our drinks, a line formed, and no one was available to take orders for customers due to behind the counter conversations that seemed more important than serving customers. There were two gentlemen who had been there approximately 10 minutes before us, and went to the pick up station three times to see if their orders were ready (multiple customers got their coffee and tea drinks before them). A quick note on the customer service - as someone who worked in food service for a number of years, I could empathize with teams that deal with high volume of customers. However, what separates good from great customer service is the ability to communicate with your customer when times are busy, as opposed to ignoring them. There are seated areas but fill up quickly, and they do have an outdoor space to hangout as well. If I'm in the plaza area and need a coffee, after this experience, we would debate before going.

This is the drink we always order whenever we visit this place. We also tried the Double Matcha Melon Matcha, which was good, but I still preferred the guava matcha. My husband likes the Melon Matcha better though. The Vietnamese Coffee was very strong for me and on the less-sweet side. The Pandan Latte wasn't really for us either. It wasn't very sweet, and we didn't get much pandan flavor. We've definitely had better pandan lattes elsewhere. The drinks aren't cheap, but I think they're worth trying, especially the guava matcha and double melon matcha. Lines can get pretty long on weekends, and parking is free but limited. I decided to get the Lavendula Latte, which the barista delivered to my table. I had forgotten to adjust the sweetness (though thinking now I can't remember if there was an option for that) but the drink had a nice balance of sweetness. Only complaint I have is that the menus lacks photos (not sure if it's lag or if there genuinely are no photos), but I'd say that the drink looks okay. You also have to use McDonalds wifi if you want to do work here, but the wifi's free and seems to be working fine so I'm not sure if that's really a negative. Each bite was delicious, everything tasted freshly baked and made, and I especially loved that the pastries weren't overly sweet. Although we enjoyed eating the tower from top to bottom, next time we would probably go from bottom to top since we like to save our sweets for last! Of course, we couldn't leave without getting more pastries to bring home. They have plenty of classic pastries, like croissants, along with more unique specialties, like their croissant cube. Everything looked and tasted so fresh, with that perfect flaky, crackly texture. The pastries are a little pricey for bakery items, but in my opinion, they're definitely worth it for the quality and freshness. A simple sandwich order at 9:20 is not ready until 9:45. Lesson learned, come at opening time and order all at once. Cortado & latte, 5/5. Hot, smooth, strong. Orchid acai bowl ($14, sub in mango for mulberry, add coconut dust): 5/5. so good. Palmetto superfoods is my go-to in the SJ area for acai bowls, this was better despite not as many topping options. Their bases are smoother and creamier, no ice crystals here. Also liked that the fruit was chopped smaller. BAE sandwich ($12): 4/5. good, but definitely not worth a 25 min wait. Textures, freshness were great, but it was missing salt/pepper & spices. The sauce helped, but still underwhelming given how good it looks. Recommend having salt & pepper packets & a bottle of hot sauce available to customers. Cinnamon roll ($5.75): as a cinnamon roll, 3/5. As a morning bun type thing, 4.5/5. This is a case of mistaken identity. It's got a slight crunch, light sweetness, fluffy (not dense). When I order a cinnamon roll, I'm more expecting decadent dessert-for-breakfast laden with sugar & butter, yknow? Loved their dining area, loved how beautifully presented all items were, loved how everything was served at optimal temperature (hot espresso, thoroughly warmed pastry, etc), loved the variety of menu items (I can get an acai bowl and bf can get a sandwich or pastry). The espresso also packs a punch -- you get 2 shots with your coffee order, so no complaints there. ‍ The ambience is definitely a highlight. The space is super cute and spacious, and they even have this mini staircase seating area that would be perfect for hanging out with friends. It also has plenty of room for a work-from-café situation The only downside was the service, which felt a bit slow for my liking. That said, they did give customers a heads-up that half of their espresso machine was under maintenance, so I'll give them some grace on that one! Overall: 3.5/5 Giving them an extra +0.5 just for the ambience because the space is genuinely adorable. I'd definitely come back to try their pastries and açaí bowl next time!

There's a larger communal table, and some counter seating. Parking can be difficult. There's a small area in the parking garage for "guest" parking. It's almost always full and you will depend on luck to find one spot there or arrive in time when someone is leaving their spot. There is no parking on most of the surrounding streets, except for the small section of the road that curves underneath Lawrence. And that part is often full of parked cars. It can be frustrating and this parking situation will easily drive away customers to find somewhere else with easier parking. If you're fortunate enough to get parking, you will find that Coffeebar offers a decent coffee menu, baked goods, and some food if you need more than a snack. The people working behind the counter have all been very friendly and helpful. Their Chocolate Croissant is HUGE!!! They'll ask if you want it warmed up. Definitely do this.
