Went with one of their specialities, the Havana Cappuccino, which was delicious and not too sweet. Ordering area can get a bit cramped but it's all manageable. Decent amount of seating but tables by the lines may get uncomfortable, but there's outdoor seating too. Would recommend ordering online/via the app. read more

I usually get the Iced Vanilla Latte, which I prefer over Starbucks and Coffee Bean. Stopped in for a little afternoon pick me up. Great service as always at the local Peet's. I ordered a Carmel Macchiato. It tasted perfect & was ready in no time. I had an appointment to get to so I was happy to be on my way. I love that the barista's always ask if 2% milk is okay because I tend to forget I have a dairy intolerance & need a substitute. What can i say? Peets has fantastic drip coffee! So if you're in need of a morning jolt, peets is the place to go! I also got the 'three berry scone' ($2.35), which was A.W.E.S.O.M.E! The scone was light, as in not having too much sugar, and BIG. you could easily split the scone between two or three people because of the size of the sucker! I was in Santa Monica for a couple of days, Thursday - Sunday. Every morning, we stopped by Peet's for caffeine (caffeine for a friend, no caffeine for me), I tried a different drink every time. Thursday: 6/28 - Masala Chai Tea Friday: 6/29 - Hibiscus Tea Cooler Saturday: 6/30 - Matcha Tea Freddo Sunday: 7/1 - Earl Black Tea People are nice here, some are too nice in my opinion. Maybe some are a bit on a sugar or caffeine high -- a bit too much to deal with very nice people early in the morning, I think. It's not them, maybe it's me... All the Peet's I've ever been to have always had good service. This one is no exception. I can always find street parking nearby and the wait is never long. One time I ordered a drink here, which they made iced (assumption because it was summer). When I went to pick up the drink and clarified that I wanted it hot, they let me keep the iced one and made a hot one to replace the one I originally ordered! So with the spike of COVID in the LA area you would think baristas would be more cognizant of cleanliness but apparently not all baristas at this place are. I asked for no foam on my drink and 1/4 was foam. Then I ask for a lid and he grabs the lid on the inside under part of the lid. If he grabbed on top I can at least wipe it down prior to drinking it. But grabbing inside under the lid touches the liquid. Considering how he wasn't aware of this I have no idea how clean and if he even washes his hands. Will not come here again read more

I will start this by saying that I LOVE Peet's coffee so will always stop here and grab some delicious coffee on the weekends. This location is situated on Montana, perfect to stop by if you are strolling around. I typically walk here from my home on the weekends. They typically get pretty busy on weekend mornings but am always in and out quickly (must faster than Starbucks IMO). They have a great selection of delicious coffee (the dark roast is my fav) and breakfast foods. The employee's are super friendly and will make sure to take care of you quickly (*but beware of line cutters, seems like this happens a lot in the Montana coffee shops - like WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!). They validate parking in the back for up to two hours - major perk! This location also boasts outdoor seating which is great for people watching in the morning or reading the paper. read more

Also the vibes and smell of coffee is amazing great not like some other places that sometimes leave trash and don't greet you nicely. Been coming to this location for a while now since they closed the locations in Brentwood and in Santa Monica on main street. One of the things I enjoy most about visiting It's of course the coffee because it's excellent and strong like they like it. And they're always appreciated being welcomed when I come in which sets them apart from other coffee chains. This location unfortunately from My experience visiting them on numerous occasions. Has not been a good experience they do not welcome you and they seem disorganized. Coffee station was not restocked on several occasions And I usually order a almond milk latte at five dollars a pop. Has not been hot enough and too much foam.? I'm leaving this Review for the management so you can correct these issues. I love the Peet's coffee and don't want to see another location closed. This is the bastard child Peet's. I don't know what's going on here, but this store is a disaster. The bathroom is disgusting. I've seen cleaner restrooms at truck stops in rural Idaho. It's always in a state of chaos. I feel like I'll get Hepatitis just looking at it. They are always out of things. I can only order medium iced drinks here because I don't remember the last time they had the large straws. Sometimes they don't even have the typical blue Peet's straws. Oftentimes, they run on down to pavilions and buy the striped bendy straws. It's been months since I've seen an appropriate straw in the place. On one visit, my medium iced mocha was served in a large cup (they were out of medium cups) and I had to use a domed lid (out of flat lids) with a tiny bendy straw (see above.) You can imagine how well that went. They need to get their act together. It's a chain. It's $4 for a mocha, you expect a little consistency. I'd kind of expect this if the store was on 3rd Street Promenade, with the never-ending parade of tourists. But, it's on Montana, where half of the shops have gone out of business. I stopped by this place with a friend for coffee after dinner. They were cleaning up and preparing to close but offered us coffee graciously. I had a small cup of their regular brew and purchased a couple of pounds of coffee after the cashier told me about the deal that day: buy two pounds and get a $5 gift card. Came in at 12:48pm on 11/8/15 to order a cappuccino with almond milk. It took 5 minutes for them to realize that they were out. While waiting I saw 2 employees just standing by a register. This place was a HOT mess and filthy. Looks as though a tornado hit. The counters were filthy coffee mess everywhere. I asked the employee if a tornado hit. She says we have been non stop busy we just can't catch up. Hmmmm.... Well I was refunded and got no coffee :( What a shame I couldn't have coffee because they ran out of almond milk. You would think, looking at this location from the outside that this is a great little place to grab an iced coffee and sit/chat with friends. But then you'd go inside and see the chaos and you'd think again. This place is a hot mess. Napkins on the floor, spills and empty milk thingies at the service station. Disgusting restroom. Loud customers talking about their bad marriages on their cell phones while in line and other patrons pacing around like staved lions in a cell. And then there's the staff, who I think could NOT have cared less about anyone coming up with an order -- not a hello, not a thanks, not a "can I get you anything else"... errr, what are they putting in your water lately, Santa Monica?
