For me I have to try the Chicken Pad Thai everywhere we go that is how I can tell about the food. I thoroughly enjoyed my early dinner here last night with my daughter. She ordered chicken pad Thai and I ordered the crab fried rice. Our meal came with the soup of the day and a spring roll, since we made it in before 3pm. Gong was our waiter and he was wonderful. The soup and spring roll were fresh and tasty. Very nice and fun atmosphere at the same time. Staff was really attentive and kind. Quality of food was great. And everyone working made the place feel welcoming. Everything was clean and cared for. Beef pad see ew was great it's normally my first dish i like to try at any Thai place. Fresh ingredients maybe a little too much broccoli stalk but other than that it was good. Mood- Labor Day Celebrations Today I reached out to a couple of friends and we decided to grab some food here as you cant go wrong with Thai food. It was def nice to beat the heat as it has been ridiculous weather here. Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered over to a table. The other part of my party had not arrived yet, but it was ok and I was allowed to sit until they arrived. I felt so bad for our server as the AC had just went out when my friends sat down and he had to move us to a larger table. We all kind of just laughed and went with it. ( Make lemonade when life throws you lemons ) Menus were given and we were asked if we had any questions. At this time we did not as we all knew we were just hungry. We opted for Thai Tea, Potstickers, Beef Salad, Duck with Rice, and Shrimp Chow Mein. Complimentary Infused water was given along with soup and crispy egg roll. This place used to be my favorite. I have been coming to Peinto for years and even had a big dinner there with my folks a couple of times. I always have a little of problem switching out a different protein in on of their menu though. I don't understand why I can't substitute a pork to a chicken curry noodle? They do that to every dishes that they have but when it comes to the Khoa Soi....they can't??? It's so silly. My last string that got me was that, they have a crispy pork with Chinese broccoli on their menu which I ordered it all the time but one time, I was asking them if they can make a crispy pork with basil sauce instead (Which they have done it before and they have the basil sauce with other proteins)....anyway, they refused to do so. The order was going to be a big order where we were trying to order 8 entrées that night but we ended up taking our business elsewhere (mind you, there are like 3 other Thai restaurants within 5 miles radius). We ate here for my brother's birthday. It was everyone's first time eating at this restaurant and we all agreed we'd for sure come back again. We made reservations for a party of 11. No issues. FOOD: Yummy! I don't think there was a dish we didn't like. We loved the yellow curry, the pad thai was a little different than what we're used to but it was still good, fried rice was deee-lish, and the pepper steak is always a favorite. Such a great hidden gem! I placed my to-go order over the phone and the man who took my order was so sweet. Even started a conversation based off of the area code of my phone number (area of SoCal). Food was ready in 20 minutes and was HOT and fresh when I arrived. First impression was that the restaurant is very clean and visually appealing. Loved to see the restaurant busy with diners. The girl at the front counter was also so kind, verifying my order, asking if I needed any extra utensils or condiments, and even walked the order around to the front of the counter instead of handing it over the top. I come in town periodically to visit family and found Peinto on Yelp. We have ordered a variety of entrees from this restaurant and have nothing but good things to say about the restaurant and service! I am truly sad to say that we will never return to this restaurant again. The reason has nothing to do with the taste, the quality of food, or service. While waiting for our order, I heard barking from what sounded like a small dog coming from the kitchen. Not once, but two to three times! I could not see in the kitchen to verify due to the curtains, but a dog bark is very distinct. I'm not sure what was going on and will give this nice family the benefit of the doubt (maybe it's a family pet). But for me as a customer, that is a deal breaker. read more

What I didn't care for is he left the bag on the porch and didn't knock or ring the doorbell to let us know it was there. Everything was good, but nothing spectacular or memorable. I think the biggest problem is the portions. Our order with tip was $85 for two people. Yikes. Shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp was $21 for a small to go box. Same size for the pad Thai. First, even though it's in a funky strip mall, inside is nice. Everyone there is super friendly. It really is the best Thai food we've had in LV. We started with the spring rolls. Super crunchy, fresh, and had a slight spice kick. I'm obsessed with panang with chicken, so of course I had to order that, as well as a side of steamed broccoli. A new Thai restaurant popped up in the area, so I had to try it! During a normal Sunday shopping trip, we made a spontaneous stop at Peinto Thai. The space was previously occupied by a Chinese restaurant. Most of the furnishings remained the same as its previous tenant, with the exception of the neon pink sign that's displayed next to the cash register. The dining area is spacious and comfortable. How was the food? I enjoyed the following on 2 separate occasions: Complimentary dine-in appetizers: soup and egg roll. They didn't offer this during a weekend dinner, so I'm not sure if this is only offered during lunch. Complimentary side of Prik Nam Pla: served individually in a small dish vs. the usual communal container of condiments. The Thai chilis were smashed into tiny bits using a mortar & pestle (maybe a food processor), and I prefer it this way because it intensifies the heat factor. Soy Chicken Noodle Soup, level 3 spice: the soy sauce gives the broth its dark color vs. a clear chicken-based broth. It included a generous amount of chicken. Delicious and comforting. Panang and Yellow curry: well-made, but a touch too sweet. The tofu was my choice of protein, and it well-prepared. Khao Soi: again, slightly sweeter than I expected but still delicious. It was accompanied by additional toppings that elevated the flavor profile to another level. All things considered; this restaurant serves really good Thai food - it's a strong contender for the surrounding competitors in this area.
