My favorite drinks from Pekoe are always Manly Melons and Pretty In Pink. My decision on which to get depends on if I'm going for just a tea, or something with milk that day. I personally don't like going for the split cup because I feel like it's not worth it. Make sure to point out if you want to adjust ice or sweetness, because.. the service is meh. The staff doesn't seem to ask and default to 100% sweet, extra ice. Service is quick but the staff definitely do not seem like they like their jobs. There's a decent amount of seating inside but small, with loud music playing so I wouldn't say much of a place to hang out. Lots of parking outside, but also surrounded by other small businesses.

My banana matcha tasted so weird with too much syrups and too sweet, not recommend for matcha drink

Split cup for $7.75, which is a good idea for those who can't decide. We had the split cup yellow mango and pretty in pink. Both are just mediocre. We also ordered taro taro, it's just okay. Over all the drinks are mediocre, they're popular maybe because they open till late night on Saturday.

Whenever I'm in the area I always come to Pekoe to grab my dose of boba. I love their flavors and the various unique names they have for each drink. I usually get the kawaii and add on some extra toppings. Service here is usually quick which is why I love coming here. The quality of their toppings are usually fresh and I can easily change my sweetness here. Lots of seating inside so if you have a big group there's a chance you can sit down. The ambience is very chill which is nice and I like that it's usually pretty clean inside. Recommend coming to Pekoe and trying out their boba if you can!

Pekoe definitely has been in my rotations whenever I'm craving boba. I haven't had it in almost a year but when I did get, the consistency is the same! I got the white winter and it has the perfect amount of sweetness. I got my dad the Thai tea whities (funny name), and my boyfriend got the taro which we both didn't like 1/5.. it really didn't taste like taro.. other then that drink which we won't get again the other ones are great. Parking is a bit small / tight if you go and it's super busy in the day.

When I'm in the area, I like to pass by this place because they offer split cups! It's perfect to try new drinks or to share with someone else. Their drinks are consistent and their boba is a soft texture. It can get busy at night but their staff is fast with taking orders and making drinks. I would recommend trying if you're in the area!

Really appreciate how they allow for split cup drinks, so you're more willing to try something out of your comfort zone. Of the two drinks (four total flavors), three of them were very good, with the pandan being the highlight. They were busy so the drinks did take a while to come out. However, they were able to accommodate a small modification even after we submitted our order.

Walked in and it was empty, including no one standing at the front (only showed up after hearing us walk in), which was a little weird. Service was very quick and I really appreciated that. Loved how toppings were included in the price, especially the little heart jellies! I should've asked for less ice, once reaching the halfway mark it became apparent that there was too much and I started getting ice chunks up my straw too. The bathroom was very clean but extremely cold for some reason.

Stopped in to get my milk tea fix. Matcha Man: Matcha Latte w/Strawberry Cream. Nice smooth matcha, but you can taste the strawberry flavor clearly. A nice drink. (pictured) Mario & Luiy-chee: Organic lychee w/lychee bits. Flavorful and sweet, like eating the real fruit. Manly Melons: Mango, lychee, strawberry, watermelon, w/white pearls and aloe vera. Refreshing and flavorful with all those different fruits in this drink. It's one of my favorites.

New to the San Jose boba scene specifically but no stranger to San Francisco. Props for opening later than other spots but the atmosphere is strange with club vibes while being very small and limited inside. Also way too sweet, which is my biggest complaint. Definitely gives me high school hangout vibes so I would have enjoyed it much more years back. Pekoe Special - way too sweet at 50% sugar and there's no 25%/30% option. Not sure if they even bother adjusting sugar but I wouldn't want to even try 100%. Tea was okay but hard to distinguish from all the sugar. Boba has a fair chew but no flavor. Grass jelly was great but stand Pretty In Pink - similar to above, way too sweet. While there's a floral taste from the jasmine, the sweetness takes full control. Would rather drink a milkshake if I wanted this level of sugar.

Love it here! Boba 10/10 would be back!!!!! Got 4 different drinks for my fam and all were good. Only came here once but my cousin comes often that's why she recommended. 10/10 would come back

One of the fewer boba places that are opened later at night in the area. There's the option to order for pick up or just order there. I guess with the later hours, the boba places had a lot of people there hanging out, but service was efficient enough and there was only 1 other person ahead of us. The decor makes it look like a fancy late night club or bar with the mirrors and modern look to it. I ended up getting the Melrose, which is a cold brewed Pekoe rose tea with fresh watermelon juice. I was informed that they were out of watermelon chunks which was fine with me. I got this at 50% sweetness. The tea started off alright with a strong floral taste and slight sweet after taste of watermelon. However after a couple more sips it started tasting artificial and almost medicinal. Might have just been a poor order choice on my part...

Beyond sweet and doesn't live up to its usual flavor. My first time coming to this location. I prefer the one on white rd and Aborn.

Do you still sell the light bulb cups with the light at the bottom?

Does this place accept Apple pay?

    Yes. They accept Apple Pay.

    Are they open currently?

    Yes they are

Is there any way I can place a pick up order? I'm stuck at work most of the time ☹️

Just wondering do they still do split drinks? because I have gone twice in the past and in both occasions the workers tell me either they "Ran out" or "are getting more split cups soon".?

Yes they do! I went yesterday and saw a group coming out with them, maybe they only have limited daily? Or try another pekoe :)

Is there an app that I can download to see my points/reward status?

Im not sure, you can ask but what I do know is that when u scan you should receive a text message and can go from there

What reward system do they use?

Last I've seen they use Square for their rewards system

Hi are they currently open? I came by 3 different times (all before midnight), but they were not open and there was no sign about updated times during the Shelter-in-place. Online, it always says they're open until midnight. TY!

I've been to both locations during the pandemic, I even went today, they are both open. You can always call to confirm hours or even place orders ahead of time.

    What time they close?

    Midnight!

    Anyone know the hours?

    10am-Midnight Everyday!

Is this location open yet? or just soft opening?

It's open they starts last Friday..! I asked the cashier earlier..!Try it on girl it was a good experience and look for Timothy his really nice very accommodating crew😁

Usually, it isn't too crowded when I visit, so finding a table is easy. There also isn't much interaction with the baristas since orders are placed through the kiosk. The corn einspannar was definitely the standout at the time, although I got tired of the flavor after a few sips. I'm a huge fan of anything cookie butter, so I'm always looking for places that do it well. I decided to try the cookie butter hojicha, and it was amazing. The hojicha here is a 10/10! I'm not from the area, and I will happily say that when I come to town, I will give this spot a visit. I've been here twice now, and the cookie butter matcha really stands out. It's a delicious and truly perfected drink. I haven't tried a combination like it before. I lovee the concentrated, earthy, and a hint of bitter matcha bottom paired with the sweet, creamy cookie butter cream top. They go together so well. The other two drinks I've tried are the Guava Jasmine tea and the Mount Everest Black Tea with Salted Cheese. Of these two, I liked the black tea more. The black tea was strong, and the Salted Cheese topping was a nice, thick consistency and a good balance of saltiness, sweetness, and cheese taste. I would probably not order the Guava Jasmine tea again. I was looking on this Yelp page for which drinks to order, and I was sad to find out that they don't offer their White Peach Oolong tea anymore, but Haiku has an easy-to-access website to order from in advance, so shoutout to that. I'm curious about the Corn Einspanner, so maybe I'll give it a try the next time I come back.
