Our North and West Wings are an economical choice but still have the same amenities as our bigger towers. The Peppermill Tower rooms have been renovated and feel like new. And the Tuscany Tower suites offer larger rooms and huge bathrooms.

I will be traveling home with my truck and 5th wheel trailer. I wanted stay the night at the Peppermill to split up our drive but can your hotel parking accommodate my truck and 5th wheel? Also, do you have security in the parking lots?

Anthony, we have ample parking for a vehicle your size and our Security Team does patrol all our parking areas day and night. You will need to obtain an Oversized Vehicle Pass from the Front Desk or Security.

The outside temp was in the 60s so the water felt about room temp. Whirlpool was nice and warm. The fitness center has the basic weights and cardio machines. Laundry facilities only had 1 washer and dryer. We had dinner at the bistro located in the lobby area. Basic foods of salads, sandwiches, pizza and burgers. Didn't know they had a kids menu until we had placed our order and one of the workers (the one who didn't assist us) asked the family behind us if they wanted a kids menu. The bistro is only open during certain hours (breakfast and diner mainly. Grab and go snacks and some travel items available at the "market" next to reception. However, there are food options nearby as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Self parking overnight is $8 per day. Maybe difficult during the winter especially when having to park next to the curb in front of the hotel entrance. Takes 10-15 minutes to drop your car and 20-30 to get it back.

To their credit, they arranged accommodations at another hotel, although it was not comparable to the one we had reserved. Wanting to give them another opportunity, we booked another stay this year. Unfortunately, the experience was even more disappointing. Our check-in was delayed until 5:00 p.m. because the room was not ready, despite the advertised 4:00 p.m. check-in time. Once we entered the room, we discovered the air conditioning was not functioning properly and the desk lamp was broken. We called for assistance at approximately 5:30 p.m. and again at 8:30 p.m. after no one responded. Someone finally arrived around 11:00 p.m., after we had already gone to bed. The lamp was replaced, but the air conditioning was never addressed during that visit. The following morning, we discovered the bathroom floor was soaked due to a leaking toilet. Maintenance confirmed the issue, placed towels on the floor, and returned later to repair it. During that visit, they were also able to fix the air conditioning. Later that morning, we found that one of the mugs in our room had not been properly cleaned. While this would normally be a minor issue, it became part of a pattern of poor housekeeping and maintenance. When we returned to our room that evening, we found another leak--this time water was coming from the ceiling. To make matters worse, my friend discovered blood stains on her comforter that had been concealed beneath the sheet. When we reported these issues to the front desk, there appeared to be no record of our previous maintenance requests or completed service calls, which was extremely concerning. A manager later offered us a $100 dining credit. While I appreciate the acknowledgment, I do not believe it adequately reflected the extent of the problems we encountered throughout our stay. Grand Sierra positions itself as one of Reno's premier hotels, and with that reputation comes an expectation of quality, cleanliness, and responsive service. Unfortunately, our experience fell well below those expectations. I hope management takes these concerns seriously because guests should not experience repeated maintenance failures, cleanliness issues, and communication breakdowns during what is supposed to be a relaxing stay.

I asked the security guard on duty for directions, and not only did he give me clear instructions, but he also personally escorted me to the escalators I needed to take upstairs. That level of customer service really stood out to me. Once upstairs, Ursula greeted me with a smile at the register and even joked about "ONLY having four hours left" in her shift when I asked how her day was going. I was seated right away, and my drink order was taken almost immediately by Hachib. Hachib was probably the most impressive waiter I've seen in a very long time. He was kind, polite, funny, and genuinely engaged with the guests. He even suggested a drink when he noticed I wasn't sure what I wanted. Watching him interact with the other guests around me, it was clear that he truly enjoys what he does and takes pride in going above and beyond. The food was good, but the service I experienced was phenomenal. Because of the outstanding staff, I will definitely be coming back -- and often.

I carefully checked to see if there would be any additional fees, and none were mentioned. I saw the complete fee, which I agreed to and paid. A few days after my booking, I got an additional charge for two hefty "resort fees" which is a hidden charge that I never agreed to. I have been staying with Circus Circus Reno for many years, and this is the first time such an issue has occurred. Per FTC federal law: The total amount must be given to me at the time of booking and must include any "drip booking" or charges such as "resort fees." Such fees cannot be hidden, and they must be disclosed before payment. This was also agreed upon by PriceLine. When I called Circus Circus, they gave me the run-around and said their resort fees were mandatory and to contact Priceline if I had an issue. I know the hotel can easily refund me such a fee, but they chose not to. Beware if you stay here - they can just charge your credit card as they like, it seems.

A little awkward for non-couples staying at the suite; only because the beautiful bath tub is displayed next to the window with no cover from the room, and sauna/shower is separated by glass; and completely visible to anyone in the room. To get privacy, need to close the entire large room to shower or bathe. Otherwise; it's a beautiful place; a bit "outdated" but still luxurious. Amenities include, bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, shower cap, facial soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, tissue, toilet paper (haha; a must!), ice maker, water, fridge, bottle opener, a variety of drinks and snacks in the fridge for a $$$ price, coffee maker with coffee pods. The curtains in the bedroom/ bathtub area has a switch that closes the curtains; it's a nice luxurious touch; too bad the switch is across the room...the bathtub fills quickly and they have a "shower gel" there that can be turned into bubbles as you fill the bath. The temperature of the room was comfortable. Clean and well maintained, apart from some bits of less than luxurious touch up paint jobs here and there. The view is lovely in the daytime and night. I can see the snowy Nevada mountains from the bath in the day. And it's pretty neon lights and watching the cars dance through the lot looking for parking at night. The entire hotel is connected to restaurants and the casino. The even center is just about a two block walk away. I had a lovely time here. Just don't like the casinos and smoking. But it didn't affect my stay in the suite. I can't understand why this hotel doesn't have any reviews or has terrible reviews. My guess would be, the majority of the guests here are here to patron the casinos, and would not pay attention to the stay of this hotel.

This place is still super small though, so getting a seat might be a challenge on a busy night. I will say the food menu looks very reasonably priced, I didn't eat on this visit but will be interested in trying some of their food options on the next visit.

It's so disappointing to know that a PEPPERMILL EMPLOYEE STOLE MY AMAZON FIRESTICK after I checked out and my room remained vacant since. I had stayed at Peppermill for the past two nights in room 1560. When I checked out, I had forgot my amazon fire stick connected through hdmi to power outlet on the tv. I had called Peppermill and was transferred around a few times until I was transferred to lost and found. I spoke to a Briceton (not sure about the spelling) from lost and found. An employee had returned a couple books belonging to my party but not my amazon fire stick. Briceton had contacted housekeeping and some wire tech to check the VACANT ROOM (therefore empty and not checked out to ANYONE since I've checked out) TWICE and "had not seen it." ( it's linked to my account so whoever took will not be able to do anything with it). I made a report and they will do some investigation on a dishonest and petty employee until it gets to risk management. It's very unfortunate for the action of one employee to become the representation and professional reputation Peppermill has to offer. On Sunday night, Monday morning around 12:30 am I had called Cafe Milano literally 6 times through their direct number and through being transferred by Peppermill. It rang and rang and rang. After continuously calling, a woman answered and was very nonchalant. I asked her if there were any specials after midnight. She replied,"no, we're on a limited menu." I asked, "do you still have breakfast for half off after midnight." She replied, "not right now." She was very rude, unfriendly, and seemed as if she didn't want to take any orders. I was very disappointed but tried again the next night around midnight. The woman who answered the phone this time was friendly. I ordered two orders of steak and eggs, an order of ham and eggs, the Peppermill breakfast, and pancakes. I went down to pick up my order and a woman with red hair gave me my two bag orders and rang me up. I asked if there were extra syrup and butter for the pancakes but she said, "no, I didn't know you had pancakes." She had a big smile and was very nice and grabbed me butter and syrup. I counted five boxes so believed my five orders were correct. Once I got to my room on the 15th floor, opened up the bags and realized they had packed the ham and eggs (one order) in two different boxes and didn't pack my pancakes. I called Cafe Milano and explained about the missing pancakes, the lady put me on hold and came back and said, "are you sure? BecAuse the cook said he made it." Is she serious?! I told her I'm a thousand percent sure and I can take photos for her. There were five boxes but it was because they separated a ham in one and hash browns and eggs in another. After a couple minutes of explaining their mistake, they told me to come back down. The lady with the red hair who rang me up apologized to me when I went down to get the missing pancakes. Aside from that, Peppermill rarely ever lets us down. I love staying and playing here and it is my number one choice when I come to Reno. Oceano sushi was delicious and the service was perfect. Game lab arcade worker (young with glasses) was very patient and helpful in explaining custom orders and game membership. The pool was kept warm for the cold season. The casino has many gaming varieties. Housekeeping, valet, front desk and bellhop was all very courteous, quick, and friendly as always. It's so disappointing and very unfortunate for Peppermill to have an employee who would steal their guest's item and for Cafe Milano to be represented by that one employee who didn't want to take orders. We are your guests and customers. I advise Peppermill to be a little more careful in the screening process in who is hired in your four star hotel. read more

This is my first stay at the Peppermill. I made a reservation online two months in advance for three adults. We are attending a conference here. My printed confirmation shows 3 adults, along with an extra charge for the 3rd person. There is not a mention of bed types, but it says 3 adults. I arrived very early, so was prepared to not have a room yet. The clerk at check in told me they did have my room available...with a King bed. Really? A King bed. My co-workers are great, but three in a bed? They insisted that I had booked a King, but my printed reservation simply shows a reservation for a room for 3 adults. Then he said "the system" assigns rooms. So there's a problem with a system that assigns a room with a King bed to someone stating 3 adult guests. I said I would wait for a room with two queens, but was told they did not have any available for my first night I found it hard to believe that no one was checking out that day in a room with two queens. When I insisted, a manager was produced, but she said they had nothing available. Honestly, if I was here solely for a vacation, I would have left and found a different hotel. I chose to put my luggage in storage and come back in a few hours to see if one materialized. This was inconvenient, as I was pretty tired after taking the red-eye from Honolulu. An hour later one of my roomies called to say she was sick and couldn't come for the first day, so I got back in line to take the King room. Tomorrow, we have to change rooms so that we have two queen beds. Very inconvenient, considering that I made my reservation two months ago and have a confirmation that shows 3 aduts. While waiting the second time, the line was quite long, and only three clerks were working. About 6 more were being trained at the end of the counter. While I waited I witnessed two other customers attempting to check in and having an issue. In one case, they told a lady in her late 60's/early 70's that her reservation was for the next week. She had nothing in writing, but the clerk disappeared for about 10 minutes. Those in line joked that he must have left for lunch. When he returned, he said that they replayed the reservation recordings and that she in fact booked for a different weekend. She was quite distressed over this. Finally a manager was brought in to confirm that she listened to the recording as well and the reservation was for the wrong date. "However" she said..."we are going to accomodate you." So my question...if you could accomodate her after all , why make the poor lady stand there for 20 minutes stressing over her reservation, and trying to prove who was right or wrong. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? Honestly, this was the worst display of customer service at a hotel I've ever seen, and I've attended approximated 4 conferences a year for the past 35 years, and also coordinate 2 events per year myself. It gets better! As I lay in bed tonight, I felt like there was something lumpy in my bed. I'm thinking my KING bed had a busted coil. So...I took off the bottom sheet, and there was a pair of socks balled up between the mattress cover and the bottom sheet. DIRTY SOCKS. I'd say they have some issues here. I'm not really a fan of any place that is designed to take my money away from me and it be perfectly legal, so I dont frequent casinos too often. Usually when I have out of town guest they drag me to the casino, and if I do go to a casino to eat I usually get sucked into playing the slots till I get mad and leave vowing never to go back to a casino....... oh its a vicious cycle my friend, of losing money and lying to yourself..... but it can be fun! I live very close to the Peppermill and have gone there a few times to play and eat, what I love MOST (of all things) is their parking garage!! Its a smart parking garage with computerized screens that tells you how many empty parking spots are available and makes it easy to find parking, and no matter where you park your not too far from the elevators and doors to enter the casino! You really feel safe in this parking garage unlike most you always feel like someone is going to jump out and grab you and throw you in the trunk of an old rusted out Pontiac and keep you in their shed feeding you only bread and water forcing you to be a sex slave..... oh wait I'm totally going off topic here arent I? Everyone always comments on the wild neon lights and ultra ubber bright colors in the casino........ It looks like the purple dinosaur Barney and Rainbow Bright got together and gave birth to the person who decorated this casino. Seriously it looks like the Lucky Charms leprechaun puked all over this place........ but even still I can't help but love the carpet its just NEAT and makes me feel all happy and childish and makes me want to skip and sing!! When I used to smoke a lot of weed I would often try to work up the nerve to go here high, but I knew I couldnt take the excitement of all the lights and sounds AND the carpet without everyone KNOWING and of course that would bring on a bought of paranoia which isnt good at all! Since I'm a local I cannot comment on the hotel or really on the service or friendliness of the employees I've never had to deal with them which to me is a good sign. The Coffee Shop is kind of one of those "enter at your own risk" type places, its not good, but its not really bad either...... but you'll probably leave pissed off wishing you'd have come up with some way to get THAT meal for free....... I often sit there eating hoping to find a hair in my food so I can throw a fit and not have to pay for it - but I'm really good at throwing fits and also cheap and the two are a formula for lots of comp'd meals!! :-) If I have out of town guest I dont want to stay at my house, the only 3 casinos in town I recommend anyone to stay at is Peppermill, Atlantis, and Grand Sierra read more

Was having a great time with friends. Literally brought over a dozen people to the Peppermill to gamble, drink, and a have a great time. Around 9pm at the roulette table a pit boss names Thomas came to inform me you "can't say the F word" joking I was saying thete are no children here and I didn't know that was an issue. Keep in kind I was not belligerent and/or being loud/ disrespectful. He came back and made a comment that, "if you're bot going to take it seriously..." I just followed up with a comment saying, "there is no disrespect I just don't understand what the problem is with saying the F word, we are locals and made a mention that were from Virginia City. To which he replied, "that makes sense" Super disrespectful to say the least and at that point myself and the dozen people I was with cashed out from all the tables we were playing. We all left and will not come back to the Peppermill. The sad thing is that I've been coming to the Peppermill for decades. I will never come back to this establishment. There are plenty of casinos that appreciate my business and my patronage to a local establishment that will not discriminate against a local for no reason. I'm not even originally from Virginia City. I'm a Doctor in Business Administration and this is the worst service I've ever experienced at an establishment. Managing multiple pieces of real estate and the largest hotel in my area/coming from managing lodging operations for dozens of ski resorts across North America. I'm never going to promote your establishment and I have for many years. I'm disappointed that anyone has the authority to act in that manner. No one was being disrespectful or loud and discourteous towards any of the staff. All the dealers were having a great time with us, having great conversations and getting tipped very well. All of us there own customer facing businesses and that one person decided for your entire establishment that you do not value our business because they personally wanted to assert authority for no reason and be discriminatory to the area we lived in (Virginia City). The date and time: 4/2/26 approximately 9am, roulette table. Worked with Michael; Sun; and one other dealer when the incident took place. To be clear, the dealers were great, the only deterrent in those whole situation was the pitt boss who had no business acting that way. read more

I use this hotel when on business trips to Reno due to a company agreement. I placed my car in the valet and was given a paper ticket after they wrote down my last name. Unfortunately I lost the ticket and went the next morning to retrieve the vehicle. The guy working the valet would not give me the car and was a jerk about the fact I lost the ticket. He method of helping me resolve the issue was by calling a horrible member of the security team over. The security team member had a horrible attitude and mocked most of my responses to her. These two brainiacs couldn't get their mind around the fact that the vehicle was a corporate owned car and I wouldn't be on the registration. I had no way to prove that it was in fact my vehicle other than offering to show them my phone was sync'd to the car's blue tooth or call the insurance company to validate I am authorized to drive the vehicle. Neither one of the two options that I presented were considered and a member of management was not called to assist. These two horrible people were more concerned about being inconvenienced by me, than they were with helping me resolve the issue. I requested to speak to a manager multiple times and neither the Valet or the security hobit would acknowledge the request. I actually had to go back into the hotel and request to speak to a manager, two different times, before I was told that there where no managers available until 8 am. At this point I called and request a Reno PD member to come out and help with getting the car back. The police officer was cool and the head security guy came out and apologized for the two but at this point I was late to work and had been standing in the cold of 30 mins. Since this incident I have sent messages and called the two people that handle my company's account and have not been called back. I have also called the hotel twice trying to get in touch with a higher level manager to get this addressed and have been bounced from voice mail to voice mail. It is now 2:30 pm on the same day and I have still not received a call from any member of their management team. My advice is to stay at a different resort in Reno, these guys don't give a damn about customer service or correcting bad situations. read more

I had a horrible experience with the peppermint for the first time in over 25 years. I ate at the Oceano, my wife and her girlfriend and I and we had the worst service in the world and the girl named Emily. Emily brought our food, but I'll bring her appetizers never bought a drink since bring our salad. It was just terrible like atrocious. And then on top of that when we spoke to her about it, she told us that she was right and I was wrong and then I she's racist. I'm black with two white women and she's white. That's the only idea that came to my brain because the way she was talking to me. And so I didn't ask for a manager the manager came over apologize of course and said they take care of it and she wouldn't come back over there anymore and we just wanted to the asked what could they do and I said well do you know if the bill you can and the manager said well we're sorry, sir but that's the best we could do so we left. The next morning at 9 o'clock knocks on our door and says we get we have to leave the peppermint we're getting evicted because I Emily at the Oceana. This is only because I'm a black man and she's white woma!! because I never threatened her. I never said anything threatening it was so horrible. It was a terrible experience they made us leave that very moment and the made us like we were a menace. Security had the audacity to talk to my wife and her girlfriend and tell them oh don't worry everything's OKand disrespected us by being condescending and even talking to us outside of helping usand it was just horrible and I asked to speak to the director they said the director wasn't available. They never asked for our side of the story ! it was just because she's WHITE !! This is not the 1970s and I will be. SUING THEM! We had our wedding reception at the Peppermill and wish we had gone with the Atlantis. We worked with our assigned Peppermill coordinator through the wedding office for months prior to the event and we complained multiple times about our coordinators lack of follow through, repeated accounting errors, and inconsistencies throughout the process. We finally just figured that the coordinator had us confused with another couple. That was the only explanation we could come up with. If it could go wrong - it did! Even our name was spelled incorrectly on the signs leading up to the reception on the day of the event. The wedding coordinator failed to take responsibility for anything. She had an excuse for every issue. The event itself went pretty good. There were a few discrepancies between what our coordinator told us would happen the day of the event and how it ended up when it came to food service etc. If you are considering having your wedding and/or reception at the Peppermill get EVERYTHING in writing. Double check the math (no joke!!). We were charged for things we were to receive a credit for and our final bill contained several basic mathematical errors. I finally had to put everything on an excel spreadsheet to get our bill corrected. It was very frustrating, to say the least. To top it off, we received a letter from the Peppermill after the event. The letter was a generic fill in the blank thank you for choosing the Peppermill letter etc. and they forgot to fill in the blanks. It just made us laugh. There were some people commented about racism in this hotel. I have to agree on them since that happened to me too. A female employee at Cafe espresso ignored me when I was trying to order. When I decided to walk away, a Caucasian male was approaching to the counter. She had no problem on taking his order. Another thing that made me surprised was Spa Toscana. They did not provide me a proper explanation about HYDRA facial. Even though the treatment causes some pains, the esthetician I met said it wouldn't. She admitted it does in the middle of treatment though. Explanation about treatments should be correct for guests safety. I asked refund later because they did not provide the service they explained, but they keep ignoring my email. If what they are doing is right, I believe they can explain what happened properly. They invited a singer in a bar while I was staying here, but he looked drunk. He was walking towards me and almost hit me but did not say anything, did not pay attention guests here. I am not happy to see musicians getting drunk that much in public, if you call this hotel 4 star. I stayed twice Peppermill Reno. On my first stay, the room was very clean. However on second stay, previous guest's hair was left on bathroom, some dusts looked came out on my bed while I was out. On second stay, it was a last minutes booking, so I can assume they did not have enough time to clean, but I was expecting a little better maid service. The hotel front desk and buffet staffs were really good at taking care of me and my table. I appreciate their efforts but I do not think I will be back here for above reasons. read more

I recently stayed at the Peppermill and have mixed feelings about my experience. Firstly, it was disappointing to find out that the valet service was temporarily closed. The buffet no longer exists, the club no longer is open. It's going down hill. On the positive side, Lee from Arizona, who assisted us during check-in, was exceptionally friendly and professional, ensuring a smooth process. However, my experience at check-out on 6/17/23 2:30 pm was far from satisfactory. I realized I had left an item for my kids in the bathroom and had to go through a cumbersome process to retrieve it. Went up and down 14 floors and had to walk all the way to the front desk twice!! When I asked Nicole at the front desk if someone could bring down the item, she refused, leaving me with limited time (10 minutes) to retrieve it myself. Unfortunately, upon returning to the room, I discovered the item was no longer there. Nicole showed no empathy, apology, or attempt to resolve the issue, leaving me upset and frustrated. On a brighter note, the room itself was spacious, featuring two king beds and a large bathroom. The pool area was also sizable, offering a refreshing break. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't book a massage at the spa due to limited availability. In conclusion, while my stay at the Peppermill had its ups and downs, improvements are needed. The front desk staff, particularly Nicole, should be more capable of handling guest services and addressing issues. Additionally, it would be beneficial to reinstate the valet service and increase the availability of spa appointments for a more satisfying experience. read more

We stayed at Peppermill a few years ago and didn't have a bad experience. Because all the other hotels were completely booked, we decided to stay at Peppermill again this year for our last-minute family vacation. The most positive aspects about our stay were the entertainment provided for children: the TV and arcade. Check in and check out took longer than what we're used to compared to other hotels. After checking in, we decided to relax for a bit after the long drive. The first thing we noticed were stains on the blankets, which we threw onto the floor and ignored. The shower drain was clogged and the water took a while to drain. Some of the towels had hair and lint on them, which stuck to our faces and bodies after use. A coffee cup had hair on it, and there were no toothbrushes, combs, or free water bottles provided. My mom and I went to get coffee and water from the bar and was greeted by an obnoxiously rude Asian female bartender. Being Asian as well, I expected her to understand that my mom was not fluent in English. However, when my mom asked for light sugar in her coffee (for health reasons), the bartender replied with "No. I already put the sugar in already." When my mom requested a lid for her cup, the bartender ignored her several times before a second bartender finally asked her if she needed anything. The high sugar content in my mom's coffee induced a migraine and caused her discomfort throughout the rest of our trip. This unsatisfactory service is unacceptable and will be the prime reason my family and I will neither recommend this hotel nor return for another stay. read more

Please do not be discouraged by prior posts, as they probably have no other stays to compare to. I stay in Reno 4-6 times per YEAR, I try many of the casinos, suites, restaurants, and drinks/bars. I was just in Reno (07/26/13) and made the mistake of staying at the Eldorado, downtown Reno, as a convenience....big mistake, the security downtown makes it very clear that they do not protect their guests from transient addicts, that wander in from the streets, I was attacked and offered no retribution. The drinks at every other casino were nasty and over priced. Finally, I played in the $1-$5 zones downtown, and never seen a waitress...I grew so miserable I actually took the city bus to the Peppermill, just to receive the service I had grown accustomed to over the years I watched it expand. I met the most amazing waitresses, go in the evenings and ask for LISA or SHAVON, they were on top of their job, making my trip take a better turn, I received endless drinks while I played, almost every ten to fifteen minutes, they were knowledgeable and friendly, almost as if they were bartenders themselves!!!! I was able to win a suite, and let me tell you...the rooms have been updated to Las Vegas standards, I was ashamed to admit I stayed anywhere else on purpose...best advice, if you plan to stay anywhere else in Reno, bring bug spray and a tazzer!!!! Stay at Peppermill, it really has all of the other casinos beat!!!!! read more

One of the best hotel / casino's in Reno. Even if I am not staying at the Peppermill, I always make it a point to stop by and swipe my players card. Until recently, they were the only casino that gave their customers free stuff just by swiping their players card. It's a gimmick but at least it is something. Speaking of gambling, if you like playing Craps, this is the only place where you have to bet a minimum of $25 to get 3-4-5 times odds. Other than that, the games are practically the same as any other casino in Nevada. They have a nice selection of slots and most of them actually let you play a while before taking your money. The Peppermill has the best hotel rooms in town. Each room has high speed Internet connection, comfortable beds, robo-bars, and some real nice shampoos and soaps. The pool area and spa are certainly not the best in Reno but that is why they are doing a $300 million dollar expansion. Word is that they will have the nicest spa and pool in Northern Nevada. So get ready. Finally the restaurants in Peppermill are awesome. If you like seafood and sushi, the Oceano is the place to go. The burgers at the coffee shop will never disappoint you and the pasta at the Romanza will make you think that you are in Italy. To sum it all up, the place is great now but wait until the expansion is done. Get ready to say WOW! read more

I was planning to visit Peppermill Casino Hotel to celebrate my 20th anniversary. My wife and I stayed at this casino and got married at the now defunct Chapel of the Bells nearly 20 years ago. It would be a wonderful reminder of that trip when we were married. However I just saw a video detailing the Peppermill AI camera facial recognition incorrectly identifying Jason Kinninger as a trespassed person and arrested by casino security. Reno police did not investigate Jason's identification and ended up jailing him and making his life hell. The case is still pending - this casino should have remedied this sitatuation immediately after finding thier error, and the software's innacurate identifaction of Jason as a previously trespassed person based only on facial recognition. I will not go to this casino nor Reno at all in the future as I don't want to fall victim of false arrest or deal with the horrible treatment this man endured. If these kinds of mistakes re made the perpetrators should make every concession to fix and wrongdoing to a victim. Not make them fight for years and pay thousands to attorneys to deal with thier mistake. I urge anyone reading this to avoind the Peppermill at all costs! I recently got a promotional deal where I was given two free nights in the older Peppermill Tower in the newly remodeled rooms. I had previously stayed in the Tuscany Tower rooms several times which are very nice, so I was a little skeptical of how the Pepermill Tower rooms would be (I had heard they were not that great before the remodel). Check-in was a breeze and customer service was friendly. The room itself was nice - not as great as the Tuscany Tower suites I have been in, but much better than I expected. The bed was comfy and everything was clean (no stains on the carpet and no chips or scratches out of the wall or furniture). It was nicely decorated The pool was really great! It was a very nice pool yard and the water was so warm on the cold almost winter night we were there. There are several jet hot tubs and several warm pools of different shapes and sizes. One of the pools has a rain drop type waterfall that pours from the roof of the building next to it. Plenty of lawn chairs all around. We went to Romanza for dinner (got a coupon for that too) and then got some room service for dinner and breakfast on the other day. Room service was tasty (I think it is the same food that comes from the coffee shop downstairs) and didn't take too long. Great hotel stay-cation! read more

I'd like to introduce you to the racist casino in Reno! The Peppermill at this craps table, I saw some craps bullshit. Some guys putting down come bets that failed at 7, late bests on the right table. Some put first past bet and lost. They left a few dollars on numbers and dropped numbers after point was established. I waited as I literally watched a $5 craps table change instantly to $25. Seriously a fucked up situation. The other crap table instantly closed and the other raised to $15 minimum. Once the peppermill amassed I think 6+ red jacket guys and 5+ "suits", I saw a gathering to prevent violence. I and my new friend did our best to de escalate the situation and we walked away. The craps table team was cleared and table let's called it #2 was dropped to $5. I'll give Peppermill credit for managing the crowd but they fuckin failed at preventing outward racism by customers and staff toward an innocent man playing craps because of the color of his skin. He did nothing wrong and stood by his actions and I vouch for it. I'm not sure but I want to say Shame on Peppermill but really it deescalated and seems to have worked itself out. read more

I used to work at the a Peppermill Coffee shop in Daly City. I have been bowling in tournaments in Reno and Carson City for over 7 Years. I have as well as a lot of friends stay at the Peppermill. Last August my friend got an upgraded room for free. The Safari Room. I was staying in the other tower. While I was in the Safari Suite I got bit. I thought it was a spider, but it might have been something else. My doctor said there was no was of knowing. I have had fluid draining out of my leg, puss and over all irritation. It almost was gone, but came back. this has been going on for 7 months and the Peppermill offered me 500.00. I have swelling in my ankles that has become worse. What spider bite causes swelling? When should I be worried about a spider bite? Seek medical attention for a spider bite if there is a worsening local reaction for more than 24 hours, redness spreading away from the bite, drainage from the bite, increased pain, numbness/tingling, a halo or bull's eye discoloration around the bite, or an allergic reaction (rare).Oct 12, 2021 They are fighting me. I recently spent a week for a conference in Reno and stayed at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino and was genuinely impressed by the blend of luxury, nostalgia, and modern amenities. The Tuscan-themed decor gives the entire property a warm, opulent feel--think marble columns, rich tapestries, and fountains that make you forget you're in Reno. Highlights: * Room: Stayed in the Tuscany Tower--spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. The bed was plush, and the room was cleaned to my satisfaction. * Dining: Biscotti's was solid for breakfast, and the Bimini Steakhouse delivered a memorable dinner. Service was attentive across the board. * Casino: Vibrant and well-maintained. Not smoky, because they just upgraded the air exchange. Plenty of slots and table games, though cocktail service was a bit slow during peak hours. Room for Improvement: * Resort fees felt steep, especially if you're not using all the amenities. Overall, Peppermill offers a classy escape with a touch of Vegas flair. It's not perfect, but it's definitely one of Reno's best bets for a relaxing, upscale stay. read more

The Peppermill Resort in Reno, Nevada, is truly a gem! From the moment we booked our annual trip, the staff was courteous and always eager to help, ensuring a seamless experience. We stayed in the Tuscany Tower, where the rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and designed with comfort in mind. Dining options catered to a variety of tastes. The resort's amenities, from the luxurious spa, the two heated swimming pools, and the vibrant casino, ensured there was never a dull moment. All in all, the Peppermill offers a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment for my family. The kids had so much fun swimming in the pool, that we extended our stay an additional night. A special thank you to Mr. Dan E. and his Service Excellence team for making sure all the guests, especially my family, had a memorable time. I have been coming to Reno regularly on business for the last three years twice a month with transportation industry reasons and I can honestly say that I now see this properties dirty business practices for myself. This casino/resort is a CA tourist trap that employs very incompetent crony-upper-mgmt staff to manage departments property-wide. Their slot machines selections don't have any local favorites, but only the slots that they want you to play. Compare the selection to Western village. Their sportsbook is willing to take your sports bets until you starting beating them regularly, which they will then tell you that they do not want your action anymore. Their security department is intertwined with Reno PD in a real corrupt way. Based on reports given to me by friends, Reno PD will rubber-stamp any accusations Peppermill will cite whether true or not. This property will profile you, arrange for your car to be stolen and Reno PD will do nothing. Their marketing department turns and burns CA tourists. BEWARE! read more

The Peppermill is quite simply the Best Resort In Reno- I stay here quite often and have never been disappointed -The VIP Hosts are the very best and will go out of their way to welcome you and assist you if you need something--Special Thanks to Chris B. and all -Counter people are always friendly and will do everything they can for you -The rooms are top-notch, Tuscany tower a bit fancier than Peppermill tower but either are quite fine -The food is terrific, Steak House , Biscottis, and coffee shop (although the burgers are so tall its a bit of a challenge to eat) -Gaming is a very large assortment of machines and a very good selection of table games, all dealers are friendly, cocktail service constant - The Pool and spa are excellent as well, great service and amenities -The Sports Book is the best in town I firmly and truly believe the Peppermill is on par with the Best Casino Resorts of Nevada--I also stay in Vegas often and have always been eager to just get back to the comfort and style of the Peppermill read more

We arrived around 11:30pm and there was a sweet girl who easily helped us check in, and marked up a map to give us precise directions to our room. The room itself was clean and very comfortable. The shower had amazing pressure and was spacious. The bathroom came with body wash, body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. The AC worked well but was a little loud as it periodically turned off. We grabbed a very quick breakfast the next morning at their 24/7 diner, and it was actually so beautiful inside?! I was very impressed with the decor! Even at 8am, every employee we encountered was attentive, kind, and made our experience enjoyable. My fiancé literally just got 3 scrambled eggs and coffee to tide him over so there isn't a ton to report on the meal, but he was happy! There were 4 mini water bottles waiting for us in the room, a keurig machine with pod options, an ice machine near the elevator, and a filtered water refill station! Also a vending machine for purchasing items. Only knocking off a star because.. well.. it's not a 5 star hotel haha. The AC was a little loud at night, and we were bummed there were no table games for a quick blackjack game as the website does say "The Western Village Casino is a winning environment where you can play the best in slots, table games, and more". However, I don't think I've ever found a better bang for your buck hotel in my life.

The first 2 girls didn't bother to tell me they were not coming because they didn't "Think" I was playing. I was, I'm at casino to play with 3 family members, after I lost a couple of times, we joined up and played together, pooling our money. All I wanted was a blue moon. One girl finally was nice enough to bring me my beer, I tipped, and she explained to me what was up. Don't feel it's right. Later I asked for an AMF drink, girl doesn't tell me anything, then comes back to tell me it's 12 bucks... I understand if policy has changed or whatever, but after speaking to a manager they felt it's better to throw away the drink, instead of explaining to me what was going on. Just upset, as we come here to play, eat wings and drink, always have, but never will again. It should NOT be this hard to get a drink at a casino.

The staff was very friendly which was great because I was traveling on six hours for sleep and had had just driven Cheyenne, Wy. This place was an older motel that was recently bought by best western and remodeled from my understanding. It definitely looks remodeled and has a very trendy modern aesthetic going for it. At least the lobby area does. Sadly I didn't get a chance to get any pictures of it. The rooms are clean and well kept. As well the grounds are well kept as well. I saw a single review of someone saying they had bed bugs but fortunately ours did not. Breakfast is not included in the price, so we ate at a restaurant called two chicks which was attached to the motel. The breakfast was good and they have some clever breakfast cocktails. All they serve is breakfast so don't expect to eat there for dinner. The service was really good there as well. Would I stop here again? If i was just passing through and needed a place to sleep? Absolutely. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. If I was looking to gamble or party and didn't want to uber back to the hotel, then this is not the place to be.
