The employees are great and very welcoming. The owner ( Scott ) on the other hand is very rude to his employees in front of customers too, as I just witnessed. She accidentally gave me an extra soda for my online order and the owner started laying in on her RIGHT INFRONT OF ME. I offered to pay for it but he continued just to be rude to her and ignored me. I was in the drive-through and and had to tell the girl 5 times to replace he ham with turkey 5 times (I am not exaggerating). Got home the order was wrong so I called . I came this establishment after a good recommendation and after I order my food, I just so happen to see the cook in the back wearing no gloves, AND THE NERVE TO PICK HIS ASS WHILE MAKING my sandwich's for my order, I'm very disappointed to see this on my first time coming here! Ok it's not 5 start for the valet or the fine China but they just keep putting out quality foods. Been eating here on and off for over 30 years. Here's one find of several: They have a chicken salad that really shows care. It's not served with fancy silverware but this one thing.... they cook a chicken then tear the meat into strips... no packaged chunk dry chicken. And they then marinate it in something simple and delish. Ask for Ranch? They give you 2 servings. Ask for a smile, they give that too. I think this could be the original Perry's, not sure. Been coming here since the 80s and the flavor is still just as excellent as it used to be. I'm so glad this place has not changed! Pizza is still awesome tasting, lasagna is just how I remember, delicious and even the ranch dressing is some of the best around!!! Please, don't ever change what put you guys on the map. Been to Perry's a few times and have always been very pleased with the pizza. This review isn't about the pizza...still delicious! This review is based on me ordering the "Medium Dinner Salad". On the menu, you can either get the Small dinner salad, which consists of iceberg lettuce and cheese for $2.99, or you can get the Medium which according to the menu has the addition of olives and pepperoni for $4.99. I know we're not talking about a lot of money here, but in my head when I read that the salad has olives and pepperoni, I assumed that the amount of pepperoni would be proportional to the additional price of the salad. As you can see from my picture, my assumption was wildly inaccurate. So, feeling like I was mislead, I called the restaurant to complain. Basically, the kid that answered the phone and listened to my complaint told me, in a nutshell that "yes, in actuality the medium dinner salad comes with two slices of pepperoni". I couldn't believe what I was being told. When I asked (very sarcastically) "so your telling me that I paid $2 extra for black olives and two slices of pepperoni?", he actually said "yes, but you also get more lettuce". HOLY SH*T!!! And he was dead serious! Anyway, now you know what comes on a medium dinner salad. P.S. Perry's Pizza, maybe think about changing the wording on the menu. I am a die hard Perry's fan. I grew up not far from here and I love about 15-20 minutes away now and make the drive all the time. I grew up using all my quarters on the Simpsons arcade game they have in the back haha. Their pizza is my favorite. It's not gourmet, it's nothing fancy, its just good solid pizza done right. You have to get their thick square crust though or you're not doing it right. I love the thick crust, the simplicity of this pizza and how addicting it is. My whole family loves this place. I also love their little salad that comes with it if you get the meal or a family meal. Again, there is nothing visually special about it, no secret ingredient at all but there's something about it that is just delicious. I think it's the cheese. It's just the most simple little side salad but it hits the spot, goes perfect with the pizza and there's got to be something secret in their ranch dressing because it's the best ranch I've ever had. I really don't know what it is about the ranch - and I know multiple people who agree. This place also has a drive through which is super great if I'm just picking up a slice or two for myself (with the salad of course). Perry's kind of reminds me of love - sometimes you have no idea really how to explain why you love someone so much, you can't really put your finger on it, but you just do. I have been eating Perry's pizza since the 1990's. I love this place because of the Sicilian style pizza and how you can get ranch dressing to dip it in. Ahhhhh, man, the double mushroom. Yum!!! And their marinara pasta sauce is so delicious. Not to mention their herb Italian salad dressing is the BEST!! I don't know why people thought the Cambodian owners were rude. I never had that problem. And it was always nice that they hired young hard working people to work there. I am so so very bummed that this place is changing into a barbecue place. Sooooo sad!!!! So when I found the very much alive black slug (see photo) in my foil wrapping of my garlic bread ... I was beyond disgusted. After I frantically curled up the foil and threw it in the trash, and spit the garlic bread out of my mouth, I actually paced back and forth in my kitchen debating what to do. After about 10 minutes of debating I called and asked to speak with the manager. I told him what I found. He told me that was impossible because they cook their bread at 180 degrees. I explained that it was not in the bread, but in the foil wrapping. He still insisted this was impossible. I told him I had photos. He asked me... now this is verbatim, "OK, but do you have video?" Really? He then asked what he could do for me and I told him nothing, but to check their wrapping area as they obviously have an issue. I hung up a little shocked about the way he dealt with this issue. After talking to my husband (he wasn't home yet) he suggested I go show the manager the photos. Enter Perry's ... hello manager. "Hi, I'm the one that called about the slug and thought I would show you these photos." So I show him, and he looked shocked ... and again asked what he could do for me. I told him nothing but to check his area. He assured me it was clean. I didn't like this answer ... as it's obviously not if there's an alive slug in my food. He then asked me to bring in the slug so he could see it for himself. I asked him, "you want me to dig in my trash and bring you back the slug?" He said, "yes". We stared at each other for a few seconds and I said, OK, and walked out. I was not going to dig through my trash to get that nasty slug into my car and bring it to this guy ... I first started going to Perrys pizza when my offices were down the street and it was a quick and easy option for lunch. Been going on and off for 5 years. I read that some of guys think Perry's is like cafeteria pizza from elementary school. But not to me!!!! Caferteria pizza is flat and square with little cubes of pepperoni LOL. I love Perry's square slices nice thick and if you get the slices with the crust its nice and seasoned crust. It so simple pizza but I love them! I've had their italian dishes too and those are good as well. But my main focus here is the pizza. My mom and sister were barely introduced to this spot a few months ago, when all we wanted was a scooby snack and a slice or two hit the spot!!! Seriously? Where do I even start? First off, I'm ashamed to say that I've even been here before. I mean, the fact that they even have a drive-thru is immediately suspect! Doesn't that automatically mean that their food is either pre-made, frozen, or delivered from some factory?! Either way, it's definitely NOT fresh! Second, the food is beyond mediocre. I ordered the lasagna, which was overly greasy and oily. They used WAY too much cheese and the noodles were soggy. Completely unacceptable! My lasagna came with a salad, which was also equally depressing. Think iceberg lettuce, mounds of thick shreds of mozzarella cheese (yuck!)... and well, that was it. Eek. Several people in my party ordered the pizza, which looked pathetic. They basically make pan pizza in rectangular pans, then cut square slices from there. So, depending on your luck, you might end up with an edge piece of pizza (with more crust) or a center piece with no crust at all. In other words, set your expectations low... very low. Third, the price point is ridiculous for what it is. By no means is this place pricey, but considering the above... why pay $5 for ONE slice of pizza that's a mini square, overly dense, oily, greasy and just overall disappointing? I guess that combo comes with the same depressing salad that I had, as well as a soda... but is that even worth it? Seriously, Costco's $1.50 hot dog combination is a much better deal, considering it tastes better, the portion sizes are bigger, and quite honestly, the food is fresher! Who even knew that was possible?! Lastly, a lot of other reviewers mentioned how dirty this joint is. To say that I agree is an understatement. I have been going to this Perry's Pizza for over 30 years. The food is great for the price. My concern here is that when I went to pick up take out food during this COVID crisis, behind the counter a number of the team members were not wearing masks properly. That is to say the masks were pulled down below their mouths. I also noticed that none of the cooks I could see had masks on at all. When I asked the girl helping me she told me they were only required to wear a mask when facing a guest. So I guess no distancing at all, no proper care of mask and cooks breathing on my food is okay to this team. I looked this up and found that not to be the requirements set by the government. I find their lack of concern for themselves as well as the guest to be appalling and unacceptable. Attitudes like this will prolong this crisis. I tried to call them the next day to ask the manager about their policy and the person that answered the phone said he was busy and could not take my call. Needless to say Perry's, you have lost a very long time customer in a time when you should be grateful for supporters. read more

Great pizza joint! Their slices are in squares and remind me of childhood school pizzas. They have great salads with really good cheese and ranch sauce. Their combo meal prices are very reasonable. Today I ordered their meatball sub, salad and drink combo for around $8-9 which was very reasonable. The sub was pretty good! I'm rating this strictly from my drive thru experience - It was my first time buying from this establishment since I pass by it all the time after work. I ordered 2 things: 1 pepperoni pizza and ravioli. Pizza comes with soup/salad and a drink. First - ordering speaker is crackling and very low was hard to hear. 2nd - I ordered a sprite with my pizza. It came with fruit punch??? I don't know how that got mixed up? I was the only one that was in the drive thru 3rd - got home. Opened the pizza box... the pizza is a square pizza with 3 pepperoni on the corner of the pizza everything else was cheese. I bit into the pizza and it was lukewarm... not even close to being hot or a standard heat.. The taste was like I was eating a elementary cafeteria pizza (you know those frozen ones)... yeah it wasn't good at all. The soup was ok wasn't bad wasn't good can't complain. 4th- 3 pieces of ravioli with marinara sauce.. uhh huge amount of sauce like covered completed had to scrape for the ravioli. Took a bite and again! Lukewarm felt like it was just sitting out for a long period of time before being served. This was my drive thru experience. Will not eat here again. Just save you a couple minutes and just go to Costco and would rather get a hotdog and away huge slice of pizza for a lot cheaper. read more

We actually have our favorite pizza and pasta place in Westminster, but thought we would try Perry's Pizza for comparison, especially since it's been on that corner for a long, long time, and we often drive by there. Ok, so it's basically a small place, but the tent makes it so much bigger. I sense that this is an after the game place to go to for families and play some of those old video games. You get in but you don't sit down till you order at the counter. A heavily tatted young lady without a personality is busy and not giving us any look. That's ok, we didn't know the menu system and the overhead menu board is pretty confusing. So another look and we decided to just order the special two slice All Cheese Pizza with choice of salad and a non-refillable soda drink. Comes out to about 20 smackers with a too generous tip. We did get a number to take to a table, we could sit anywhere since there was only one other patron in the whole place. Ok, so the young lady warmed up a bit and brought our salads and plates of pizza. Didn't know it was going to be a disappointing pizza lunch. Ok so the crust is nice and thick, but the tomato sauce is thin, and the mozzarella cheese is barely covering the 4"Square Cheese Pizza, no, not a triangular slice like the one at Costco. Yes, we would have been better off going to Our fave or even Costco. Perhaps Perry's Pizza deserves another visit to try their Spaghetti and Lasagna, but not for the Pizza. read more

Pizza's not bad but not amazing. They have special deals on different days and I came in once and got their spaghetti deal. Was kinda bad, like a 2. I got a Sicilian slice that day too and it was just ok but I saw them bring out a full pizza to another family and it looked really good. So I came back and ordered that full pizza and it's not bad. Not amazing but not bad. For Huntington Beach, which I honestly don't think has any amazing pizza places, I'd opt for this place over any other pizza joint I've eaten at so far. read more

I was craving pizza really badly and wanted just a slice. I had little time and found this place on yelp near work and thank goodness they have a drive-thru! I ordered the #1 house special which comes with a slice of sicilian style pizza (choice of cheese or pepperoni), a soup or salad, and a medium drink. I asked what kind of salad it was and they said romaine, shredded carrots and cabbage with cheese on top and your choice of dressing. I was under the assumption that it would be like a caesar salad with shredded parmesan but I was surprised to find that they put shredded mozzarella on the salad, which was weird to me. The pizza itself satisfied my craving but I think it's as tasty as a frozen pizza. There was not a lot of cheese pull and it tasted like it could've been reheated. However, the combo was still a pretty nice deal for $6. If i'm in a hurry and need pizza, I'll probably hit up the drive-thru again. The service is fast and friendly. read more
