This place is fantastic! I called them last minute for a gathering of about 25 people. They didn't even flinch. They were so accommodating and even took the time to make some calculations to ensure that I was getting the best price deal from them for what I needed. I had the brisket plate with cowboy beans and Mac & cheese. The brisket was really good and fork tender. The wife had the loaded potato and as soon as they sat it down i said "there's no way you'll eat all that", I wasn't wrong it was huge and loaded with pulled pork. Heard about this place from the owner's dad, who drives the courtesy van for Enterprise Rental Car in Hendersonville. Figured the dad would say it was good whether it was or not, but he was so right! Hubs ate the smokestack, BBQ stacked on cornbread with cowboy beans, slaw and more. Hubs loved it, and gave the very hot sauce (you have to ask for it!) 2 thumbs up! I had the brisket sandwich, also delicious. My fave were the chicken wings - OMG goodness! Apparently owner's mom makes delicious desserts, but sadly they were all sold out the day we were there. read more

Vacationing with friends from Chicago. Someone working at our hotel suggested that we try Perrys on our way home. Heading back down I65 and we needed to end our Nashville trip with brisket and pulled pork , of course! Family run. Walk up and order. "Go ahead and eat . We'll getcha later". What? Ok... So we did! Nothing was pre sauced. Very tasty BBQ sauce on tables. Spicy sauce behind counter if you ask. Brisket fell apart. Pulled pork juicy and not fatty at all. Thick cut fried bologna (that's the thing down here) and I loved it! Mac and Chz, slaw, potato salad, several different beans, and greens. All very good ( I sampled all my friends') A few Picnic tables inside, a few on an open window patio and two outside. Many flies on the patio but that's just nature. Maybe some fly paper though?? Finished and did go inside to pay. Two lunches with sides and drink for $12. Pretty great. Super nice with downhome charm. Closed Sunday and only open til 7. That makes me happy. read more

Had to detour off I-65 and stumbled across Perrys Smokin' Pig and I am so glad I was detoured. Small place but they put out Big Flavor. Cindy and Kathy allowed me to sample both the chopped brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was good but the pork was the clear winner. I decided to try the Smokestack which is a cornbread base with your choice of white or baked beans choice of meat then cheese and coleslaw if requested. I went with white beans, pulled pork, no cheese and get ready for it. ...... turnip greens. They had never had that combination request and were a little taken back by it. It wasn't particularly attractive, but what is was, was delicious. Topped it with their hot sauce and I tell you it was just wonderful. Hope to be detoured by Perrys again real soon. If not, I may have to make a road trip. read more

I went to try it today had the the Bologna sandwich with potato salad (mustard) along with a pound of the brisket with white beans and baked beans. WINNER! Best BBQ we had in a cross county road trip after trying the local BBQ fare in Texas, Missouri, and Tennessee. We drove 25 minutes outside of where we were staying in Nashville to try this based on a recommendation, and it was worth it. The man and woman behind the counter were super friendly and helped us order the right stuff: pulled pork, brisket, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. We also tried cole slaw, cowboy baked beans, and the cornbread. They also threw in 2 wings (Wednesday special) which were perfectly seasoned and cooked and very meaty (and I don't usually like wings because those 2 things are usually lacking). Local folks in the restaurant were also very nice and happy to see some out-of-Towners enjoying the food. Definitely worth a trip. read more

Worth the 10 minute drive off of I65! Beautiful scenery and nice small town feel. We had the pulled pork sandwhich as well as the beef brisket sandwhich. If you happen to come through Millersville/Whitehouse this place is worth stopping for. The food is awesome I had a bbq sandwich with potato salad and it was awesome. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Also, the staff is very friendly. You can tell it has great food since all the local law enforcement come here lunch daily. They keep bbq sauce on the table for you. The only downside to this restaurant is that there not much space for a lot of people. Other than that this place is amazing and deserves 6 stars read more

4 girls road tripping to Nashville saw this restaurant on Yelp and located about 5 min off I 65. What a delicious BBQ Smoke Stack $5.99 layered with corn bread pancake, choice of spicy cowboy beans or white beans, pulled pork, & coleslaw. We had the cowboy beans- great peppers, onions and the right heat. The pulled pork and sliced brisket combo plate with 2 sides was made to order for 8.39 was big enough to share. A lot of customers were ribbing it. The Lemon Lush torte topped off our lunch perfectly. The staff and customers were super friendly. Great casual setting with Indoor and outdoor picnic tables with BBQ sauce and vinegar squeeze bottles and rolls of paper towels on cloth tablecloths. read more

What's ironic about Perry's "smokin" pig is that there's no smoke... The meat is cooked with gas ( the wood pile and smoker out front are evidently just for show ) the only real flavor the meat has comes from the ketchupy BBQ sauce. Last pulled pork sandwich I got there had as much fat on it as it did meat. Very disappointing. read more

This place came recommended by one of the owners of Constant Smoke BBQ in Hermitage, who knew I moved to the Millersville/White House area recentlym However, when they say they close at 7, they mean earlier than 6:59 -- closed sign was already up, and their door was shut as I walked up. Not convenient for those who are trying to get home from Nashville and was planning on them for dinner. Looks like I'll be sticking to Jack's BBQ on Trinity on the way home. read more

Outstanding! Anybody who wouldn't rate this a 5 is simply a vegetarian. All of their meats are in the Top 3 of any BBQ I have ever been to and I grew up in West Tennessee. Perry is a great guy to boot. White House is fortunate to have this little treasure right here in our backyard. read more
