Service was exceptional and the restaurant has a very fun vibe, in the past it was very business casual but now you can come in shorts and a T-shirt. I ordered the Perry's famous pork chop and I might have just been full from the delicious French onion soup but I couldn't finish even 25% of my main entree. It was my birthday so they offered a free dessert and wow wow wow that seasonal cheesecake was amazing amazing. Can't recommend the cheesecake more! The drinks were delicious but I've definitely had same level of quality old fashioneds for less than $19. My wife got a New York strip and in our opinion the seasoning on the outside was too salt heavy but the steak was cooked to perfection. Would go back but probably will return for their lunch special next time

Wow!!! Coming from Washington DC area and used to the best dining and service this restaurant matched and or exceeded my expectations! The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, you can absolutely carry a conversation without high noise levels . The food is delicious and some of the plates are outstanding. Our server , Antonio was amazing. He had some suggestions which we accepted and loved . Excellent service, food and ambiance!

Service was excellent although the server overtly mentioned leaving a 40% tip. There is a dress code, as there should be dining with white linen. However, a very young patron wore Daisy Dukes

Met a couple of friends for lunch here last Friday for their pork chop Friday offer! I've been a few times before to the downtown location and have to say this lunch experience was my favorite of all of my visits to Perry's in the past. The server was extremely helpful and patient as one of our friends was running late so we were waiting until she got there to order. We enjoyed the pork chop special, the pinot wine pairing, and we shared the bread pudding with a huge marshmallow on top. Each of us had different sides: grilled veggies, asparagus, loaded whipped potatoes. Yum! The pork chop is so big we all took part home and I had it a few times for leftovers after and it was still pretty good heated up. I'm sure I'll be back for pork chop Friday again!

I'm a huge fan of Perry's Steakhouse and Grille. Whenever I can, I try to go here for lunch on Fridays. The Friday lunch special for the Pork Chop is amazing! I order it every-time I go and I cannot get enough. It is so flavorful and delicious. It's also filling as well as they serve hearty portions. They make great cocktails as well. The staff are friendly and the service is phenomenal. The atmosphere is great, especially if you sit outside on the patio on a nice day. The last time I went, I decided to splurge and order a dessert. I tried the Rocky Road Bread Pudding. I was shocked how huge the dessert was. I couldn't finish it all after eating the Pork Chop, but I took the leftovers home. It blew me away and I normally don't order Bread Pudding. I'm already trying to plan when I can come back!

This is a place to take your date! It's Friday pork chop day. I had their new raspberry drink, which was amazing.! I had pasta and my date had the famous workshop. The food was delicious and we easily got a seat up at the bar to eat the couple next to us copied our menu. It's a wonderful experience on a Friday afternoon to set off your weekend. The Perry's at the domain is very professional. Both managers came up to make sure that we were taken care of and well as the staff. I highly recommend for you to visit here.

I had a great first visit here. This is my first time visiting the domain location. I have visited the downtown location everything from just the ease of getting a table during the week to being seated and taken care of immediately. Those stood out to me. everyone checking in on you, the knowledge of the menu - it was pretty busy, but it wasn't so loud that you couldn't enjoy your meal. I had the butchers chopped salad for a starter, and I had the perfect amount of dressing without being overpowering, and I really enjoyed having the strip of bacon on top. It was crisp that you could just put the pork on it and it will crumble. For dinner. I had a cowboy ribeye with Sriracha brussels sprouts corn Brulé and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to perfection. I enjoy the brussels sprouts but I don't know if I would do them again unless they were extra saucy because the sauce and the crisp was great on that the corn Brûlé so good especially if you love cream corn it was delicious for dessert. I had the banana Foster they make it tableside for you, which is really a cool experience overall I enjoyed everything and would definitely recommend this place.

Again, decedent size smokey pork chop, and apple sauce and whipped potatoes!

Our server, Leddy was a big hit with us on our visit to Perry's. She was animated and knowledgeable of the food and full of energy on top of it. We came on a Friday to experience their pork chop which they are famous for. I don't know what they do to it, but I gotta get myself another one. Is it Friday yet? This is a ritzy spot to eat in The Domain. The food is pretty damn good, and I hear the drinks are spot on, but we didn't have any. Parking is somewhat of a stressful situation out there so park in the garage and spend your day roaming the grounds. Also, the dress is business casual or better. I noticed that a few young people don't really care and they show up in whatever. This is a nice place to eat. You can go down to the bars if you want that kind of atmosphere. Highly recommend coming out here and ordering yourself some oysters that big steak or pork chop and bring your appetite. You're gonna need it

I finally made it to Perry's Steakhouse & Grille, and unfortunately, it did not live up to the reputation. A friend and I went after work, and from the start, things just didn't land the way they should--especially for a place known for steak. My friend ordered the Prime Ribeye (14 oz.) and had to send it back three times. She asked for medium well, leaning toward well, and even requested it be cut thinner upfront to avoid issues. Still, it came out wrong each time. By the third attempt, it was overcooked. They did comp it, which was appropriate, but by then, the experience was already frustrating. She also ordered the Perry's Homemade Texas Sausage as an appetizer. The first round came out dry and had to be sent back. The replacement was much better, but again, that's a miss that shouldn't happen. I ordered the Symphony Kabob, which is presented tableside and looks impressive--filet mignon, lobster, shrimp, sauces, asparagus... all the things. Visually, it delivers. Flavor-wise, it was just okay. The seafood and asparagus were good, but the steak itself was inconsistent and not as tender as expected for the price point. Now I will give credit where it's due: * The au gratin potatoes were absolutely amazing. * The thick-cut chargrilled vegetables were well done. * The Smoky Rita and Cucumber Blueberry Martini were both really good. * Our server, Shen, was pleasant and attentive throughout. * And the ambiance? Oh, it was giving--dim lighting, upscale energy, the kind of place that feels like it's about to deliver a top-tier experience. But here's the bottom line--this is a steakhouse. The steak should be right the first time. Not the second. Definitely not the third. I understand that no place is perfect, but when the main attraction keeps missing, it overshadows everything else. This place may have a strong reputation, but based on this experience, I wouldn't return. That said, don't take my word for it--try it for yourself. Just know that for the price point, expectations are high... and this visit didn't meet them.

Fridays are porkchop days!!! First of all, make a reservation especially for Fridays, it's crazy busy, but you'll understand why later! The porkchop is unbelievable, full of flavor, huge portion, and delicious at every bite. The service is superb, and the place itself is so pleasant and great to hang, the time just goes by. We came here for a work lunch and we all were so full and satisfied, but mainly full! Had a cortadito to close the meal and be able to digest some. The mash potatoes were amazing as well. Now that I had this on my list, there's so much more to come back for, absolutely!

Went to Perry's Steakhouse & Grille for the ultimate girl dinner and it did not disappoint. Started with the lobster bisque rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Then had the steak and lobster combo, which was perfectly cooked and felt super indulgent. Finished with the seasonal cheesecake, and honestly it was the perfect ending to the meal. Everything tasted fresh, well-balanced, and worth the splurge

I'm writing this while we're still here because the service has been that amazing. Now onto the food... My wife ordered the sausage, and she's absolutely obsessed with it. It's technically on the starters menu, but she always gets it as her main course because it's just that good. My son and I both ordered the 20-ounce Koji Coffee-Crusted Cowboy Ribeye, cooked medium-rare. When I say it melts in your mouth, I mean it. The coffee crust adds the perfect amount of texture and crunch without overpowering the steak. I highly recommend it. For sides, we shared the mac and cheese and the corn crème brûlée, and both paired perfectly with our steaks. We also started with the pork chop bites, which continue to be an absolute home run. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the applesauce takes the flavor to another level. The only minor critique I have is that the bread wasn't quite as soft and warm as it usually is. But honestly, that's such a small detail in what was otherwise an outstanding meal. To finish, we had the Vanilla Orange Cheesecake and the Lemon Bar. The Lemon Bar was delicious, although I wish the center hadn't been quite so cold. The toasted marshmallow on top, however, was absolutely perfect. The Orange Cheesecake? Incredible. Total Dreamsicle vibes, and I would order it again in a heartbeat. What really made this evening unforgettable, though, was Alex. He has officially set the standard for what exceptional service looks like. Every server I have from here on out has some big shoes to fill. Perry's, if I can't have Alex next time, I hope the service is held to the same incredibly high standard because he truly made this experience special. Overall, Perry's came out swinging tonight. I can't honestly call it a perfect 10 because of a couple of tiny details, but it was absolutely a perfect 5-star experience. Thank you for an unforgettable evening and for making my son's birthday one to remember!

The complimentary bread and butter were also mouthwatering--I honestly wanted another roll. For drinks, we asked for something refreshing, and Delina delivered. My husband had a cocktail that reminded him of an Aperol Spritz with a mojito twist, while the watermelon hibiscus margarita was absolutely perfect for the weather. We shared a Caesar salad and ordered the Dean's Style steak with the sauce on the side. This was the one dish that left me a little disappointed. The steak wasn't as juicy as I expected when cutting into the center, but thankfully, having the sauce on the side helped elevate the flavor. I highly recommend the truffle béarnaise sauce--it was delicious. The atmosphere and service were excellent, and Delina truly made our evening enjoyable. I paid the tip and received no compensation for this review. I'm focusing only on the dishes I personally ate. We had a 6 PM Sunday reservation, and the restaurant was quiet and calm. We were seated near the front, but I saw several dining areas -- all classic, clean-lined, and intimate. Our server, Adam, was exceptional from start to finish. His timing, attention to detail, and genuine care elevated the entire evening. He made thoughtful recommendations for cocktails and dessert, and every suggestion was spot on. Cocktails I asked for something light, and Adam suggested a summery twist on their cucumber martini. He added elderflower, and it was refreshing and delicious. We also tried the Divorce Papers (light, slightly sweet, with an earthy undertone) and the Dreamsicle, which is sweet, fun, and honestly as much an experience as it is a drink. While we waited, we were served a small blintz bite with caviar -- a lovely bite to start the meal. Starters We ordered the crabcake and the Caprese salad, both easily shareable. * The crabcake is one of the best I've had in Austin -- large, packed with jumbo and shredded crab, and seasoned perfectly. The aioli and fresh lemon made every bite better. * The Caprese truly surprised me. I expected heirloom tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, but the Sicilian pesto with Marcona almonds elevated it in an unexpected way. The pesto was thick, chunky, and incredibly flavorful -- it tied everything together beautifully. Balsamic and olive oil are added tableside, and the dish is as delicious as it is pretty. We were also served Brazilian cheese bread, which had a sharp cheese flavor and a great chew. Mains & Sides I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon, cooked rare. It had a perfect peppery crust and a tender center -- exactly what you want from a fine steakhouse. For sides, we shared: * Crispy Brussels sprouts -- roasted through, very crispy, and served with walnuts, feta, shaved prosciutto, and balsamic. Best when you get a little of everything in one bite. * Truffle sweet potatoes -- the first serving had undercooked layers, but the staff handled my feedback professionally and quickly brought a new dish. The remade version was delicious, with a great balance of flavors. Dessert Adam recommended the Carajillo, an after-dinner cocktail made tableside. If you enjoy espresso, get this -- the presentation alone is worth it. We tried two desserts: * Crème brûlée -- large enough to share, topped with berries, with a perfectly thin sugar top. * Flambéed strawberry shortcake -- made tableside by Enrique, who explained each step as he prepared it. The house poundcake is buttery but balanced by the ice cream and strawberries. Not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Also very shareable. Overall A great steakhouse should deliver on food, ambience, service, and drinks -- and J-Prime Steakhouse absolutely does. I had multiple moments where I paused just to appreciate the flavors. Adam made the evening fun, and the entire team ensured the experience felt special. I left wanting to come back and try more of their popular dishes.

I had a great view of everybody walking by the restaurant outside :) Our server was fantastic! He was super friendly and attentive. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and left a little after 10:00 p.m. The food was delicious. My man absolutely loved his seafood pasta dish! He doesn't even eat pasta but he scraped that plate dry. I highly recommend ordering family style for the table but make sure your whole party is on board with splitting the check evenly because the restaurant does not break up the check according to diners only split evenly, I believe up to four ways. Example: Our check was $822 (included gratuities) for seven people and we were only able to split evenly four ways. Roughly $118 each. It is what it is but I didn't even get a main course. Just a glass of wine, a half of a piece of bruschetta, some of the Caesar salad and a small portion of the gnocchi (all shared) I'm glad I got to experience Red Ash, but now that I've checked that off my list, I'm good.

There's usually something on the menu for everyone, which makes it such an easy choice for almost any occasion. Their happy hour is one of my favourites in Austin. The mini martinis are served on a martini tree, which makes the experience especially fun, and they also make an excellent dirty martini--perfectly ice cold and well balanced. The beef tartare is another standout and easily one of the best in town. It's always topped with an impressively large egg yolk, which I love. Murray's is an easy recommendation for anyone in East Austin looking for a relaxed, lively atmosphere and a satisfying meal.

We were blown away by the quality of food and the service. Juliet, our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. My salmon was delicious, the Chicken Francese amazing and the Chicken Pot Pie unique and great, to name a few. Since we were there during happy hour, bottles of wine were half off-a great deal--and portions were very large--another welcome surprise. Knowing we were celebrating a birthday, a manager brought out a tower of seven mini glasses of champagne- a great touch. The Sticky Pudding on the dessert menu also a hit. While a bit out of the way, tucked in a neighborhood, this spot is worth the trip. We all plan on returning soon.
