decided to walk to this cute little cafe after a workout class and it was quite busy! cute interior with small amount of seating. drinks were made quickly. i ordered a iced vanilla matcha with oatmilk, it was a bit on the sweeter end but the matcha taste was still prevalent. i unfortunately have low expectations for philly matcha but this was decent! i would probably get it less sweet next time. they also had some cute earrings and merch they were selling on the side, so adorable! worth a stop by if you're in the area :)

This place is really good. A great grab and go spot. They barely have any seating. I got the jasmine coffee and it was good. The jasmine was quite strong but I enjoyed it. It over powered the espresso so as long as you like jasmine youll like this.

Had this coffee shop in the Fishtown area bookmarked for a while. It is worth the trek. The barista with the cute thick rimmed black eyeglasses was extremely friendly, hospitable and patient. He enthusiastically greeted each person that came in. It is a small shop with limited seating. I am a persimmon lover so my decision was an easy one, I had the Persimmon Leaf Tea that has notes of natural wine and roasted squash. It was absolutely wonderful and perfect on this 34 degree day. My son had a seasonal drink called Midwinter Memory. It had cranberry bitters and was topped with yuzu rind powder. He loved it. Since persimmons are one of my most favorite fruits to eat, I just had to ask the barista why this coffee shop had the name persimmon. The co-owner is Korean. Persimmons hold a prominent place in traditional Korean culture which represent good fortune and wealth. If you have never had one, do yourself a favor and try one. Eat it when it's more ripe so the sweetness comes through. Cute merch that is all things persimmons such as tees and jewelry are for sale as well.

Very unique coffee drinks. We tried the flash brew which is their iced coffee and the cloud dancer which is a coffee mixed drink. Cloud dancer was so unique. It had a really nice foam cream on top. The mint and tonic flavors were refreshing and so interesting in coffee. Inside was cute and small. Not much seating. Only 1 small table that fits 2 people. There are some benches against the wall for people to sit but not too much room. Seems like most people were getting their coffee to-go

Stopped by mid run for a quick boost. The spot is pretty small but it had a few seats inside. Jasmine Tea Dream was a smooth latte where the jasmine tea really comes through. It was a unique drink and I would definitely come back again.

A small store with limited seating. It is a very well lit space and had clean and homey vibes. When I arrived, it was clear that some of the other customers were regulars and friends with the baristas - a good reflection on their service and food. I got the Endless Summer special which tasted almost like a miso cookie with a tad of rosemary if I tried to search for it. I wish the rosemary flavor was stronger. This was the first time I've ever had a latte that tasted a little savory and I liked it. Def would want to try their espresso straight next!

Absolutely adore this coffee shop. Mega community vibes and so freaking welcoming! Whether the sun is shining or the rain is pouring, you instantly feel a bit better once you enter Persimmon. The Friendly staff guide you to the beverage that will elevate your day. They also make their own syrups in house which is crucial for a great tasting latte without all that artificial stuff. No tables or laptops here- just enough seating to have a great little catch up with a pal and be on your way! A top 5 Philly coffee shop for me and I am no longer Gatekeeping this one! :-)

adorable little coffee shop with cute themed goodies! super cute coffee shop, i absolutely love the clean aesthetic and the quaint decor. feels very peaceful, this would be a great spot to chill with a drinkity in the middle of a busy day. there is limited seating with a bench area in the back of the coffee shop. they were also selling persimmon themed merch, i was so tempted to buy the persimmon earrings. also love that the jewelry was created by a local artist! there was only one employee who was friendly and quick. i had the matcha latte with vanilla which i enjoyed. the matcha was smooth, and the kick of vanilla added a pleasant touch of sweetness. would recommend!

Was in the area for food and wanted to pop in for some coffee. Cute little coffee shop, minimalistic and clean inside. Wow the service! The guy who worked here, I didn't get his name, was so funny and friendly. Really made my little coffee stop memorable and a positive experience. I ordered the jasmine coffee dream. I absolutely loved it! Really unique drink with the perfect amount of flavoring, and not too sweet. Definitely recommend!

Cute little coffee spot with outstanding coffee. Inside is cute and very inviting. I got the jasmine coffee dream with oat milk and it was legitimately to die for. Service was great and barista offered great suggestions and was very friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

A cute pet-friendly cafe with a persimmon theme in Fishtown. It might be a popular spot in the neighborhood as it was busy on a Sunday morning Side note: My friend recommended me Drift Magazine for city coffee guide and I was excited to flip the physical copies there. We ordered latte and cappuccino. Very smooth coffee with a nutty espresso base. Well-frothed milk gave a creamy texture. Loved the latte art on top. The porcelain mugs and coasters they used were cute. Their pastries looked attractive to serve with coffee too.

I was planning on getting a regular coffee, but they had such interesting specials that I ended up getting one of those! This drink (emerald city) had matcha, ginger beer, and heavy cream. They had a plant-based cream option (the Country Crock brand) so I got that. This was so refreshing and unique! Services was just one person so it was a little slow, but they were super friendly and nice. Minimalist decor and only a few seats but my group of 3 didn't have an issue getting seating at 2pm ish.

I ordered a green iced tea which was delicious, and then sat and worked. Wi-fi is solid here, and the outlets are plentiful. I especially like having seats with backs and sizable tables at the right height... when you're working from cafes the small details make a difference. Even though the espresso machine was down, the staff were still friendly and pretty calm about the whole ordeal (although some customers were not). Appreciate a friend face, a quiet space to work, and a nice vibe to relax in for the day. Will stop by again when I'm in Old City!

The sandwiches were tasty, although the bread was a bit too crispy. I usually love crispy bread, but this was very, very crispy and slightly overdone for my preference. The biggest disappointment was the egg -- it had that pre-made/frozen egg texture and appearance, which I didn't expect from this type of establishment. Overall, I'd still return for the coffee and the cute atmosphere.

We visited on a Friday morning and were seated right away, though the restaurant filled up quickly. The menu is large, with plenty of options to choose from. The coffee match loved it. I couldn't be happier with all the food choices we've made and shared. The huevos ranchero was amazing it does have a good kick to it which I loved didn't require any additional hot sauce. My daughter loved the pancakes but the tropical bliss she loved so much. I had the omelette and it sad so well balanced so filling of a meal but I want to compliment over the fact that food did come to us served all greasy even the potatoes it was so well done. My son devoured his burger lol he loved it so much sharing wasn't really an option for him lol. Overall this review is well deserved with the starts given. The service was quick staff was so friendly and polite. There isn't much of seating area as it's a small space but it moves fast. It can get a bit loud when it's crowded.
