Good food, ordered appetizers and one drink. It took a little bit longer than expected to get appetizers served than would expect. Service was good, it was obvious she was busy with many tables so there was a delay in drink refills etc. Love the casual environment and option to sit outside.

We ate here a few months back and remembered it being good. We were craving Mexican food and after reading the menu we thought that this food would hit the spot. We ordered 2 Baja Fish Tacos, the Blackened Salmon Taco, the Grilled Shrimp Taco, the Californian Taco and a Carnitas Taco and picked it up. They are very friendly and quick to get your order out. The food was still piping hot which I really appreciated. I got the Baja Fish Tacos & The Californian Taco. The Fish Tacos were pretty good. The Lime Crema complimented them well. I also had a Californian Taco which was so good, with the fries, crema & hot sauce. Everyone else enjoyed their tacos a lot. I enjoy this place especially because it's reasonably priced and the tacos are really good. We'll be back, maybe to dine-in again as they have a great interior.

Food was good. Service was good. Ambiance was okay. The menu was a bit confusing, for every taco that you order you get a side but if you order two tacos you don't get another side choice. ‍ For the cost of one taco it is a bit pricey. I had the octopus taco with black beans and elote...it was delicious.

My sister and I were looking for something to eat on the evening before the Super Bowl, so we needed to stay in the south east part of the metro area - away from the crowds! My sister had been here a few weeks ago and had excellent food. We started with chips, salsa, green salsa and some incredible guac!! Really good beginning. Then my sister ordered the carnitas taco and I had the salad with portobellos for the protein in it. Both were really great. The salad was HUGE. The pico was super, beans were nicely spiced. The pickles on it were a huge surprise and really great. Good fresh veggies.... The salad dressings were good- but the salad had enough flavor that I barely used the dressings. Really nice people, fast service and they checked on us frequently. It was sweet to see the servers high five each other occasionally. Made me smile. Great job

TLDR: We enjoyed our food, but the service is unnecessarily slow. Details: From the time we were seated till we got our dinner was an hour. We were seated right away, and our server came shortly after for our drink order. We waited 20 mins for our drinks and chips. Then he took our order and disappeared. Our street tacos took another 40 mins. No clue why, but they said the kitchen was slammed. Half the tables were leaving after happy hour. The restaurant was moderately busy, especially for a Tuesday. It seems like it's not run well. Servers have tables all over the place and seem to have no rhyme or reason for who's serving whom. But the food is good. Huge bowl of chips and salsa. Decent dinner portions. Great options for gluten free and vegetarian. Chips are in the same fryer though. It seems a little pricey for the area and amount of food.

This place is a hidden gem! Their carne asada is tender and very flavorful. i got the Cali style burrito, it was so good! I loved the crema and the hot sauce! My husband got the Baja style burrito, which he loved. And our youngest devoured the Mac and cheese (she's picky) My oldest got one California taco (another picky eater) and she loved it. They made my middle daughter a bean and cheese burrito. It was good but don't cut it in half, the beans were not a thick refried bean. I also got the passion fruit margarita and it was delicious!!! We definitely will be back!

Review 1: We've been here many times and food was amazing as always. If you like spicy and tart flavors, you'll love the estofado spicy stew. The braised beef short rib had great quality meat and a ton of it, I felt full after just that one taco. I tried some of my husband's fajitas and they were good too. Shrimp was big, juicy, and flavorful. Review 2: Happy hour was good! The Mama's Passionberry is my favorite cocktail I've ever had.

Saw server 2 times and forgot hot sauce (and to ring me up for it luckily) and kitchen messed up order (saw server took it down correctly on receipt) Waaay too small of tacos and lack of flavor for $9 a pop. It's definitely a bar that serves food. Not a restaurant that serves alcohol.

My parents love this place and have been asking us to join them here for a long time. Well we finally made it. We went for the whole fried snapper and my wife and I shared it. It was massive but we pretty much ate the entire thing. Man it was good. The service here was fantastic as well. My only complaint was the cocktails were not the best. My margarita tasted like it came out of one of those pre made mixtures from the store. My wife wasn't impressed with her Mescal Old Fashioned either. Still it was a great dinner and worth checking out.

I'm currently sitting at high tide because of the service of el pescado borracho. We had been to El pescado on one previous occasion and the food was okay. we walked in today and it seemed as if the gentleman that was serving us was annoyed that he had to work. We asked for a michelada and asked if I could have it with pacifico which they have on draft to it she said no we don't do that it has to be Corona or dos Equis. I think the worst part was that we asked for menus clearly planning on eating and then ask to get our check. no one asked if there was an issue or problem I think the biggest sign also was that we didn't eat hardly any of the chips and salsa. Thank God we came to a restaurant that is a thousand times more tasty and their customer service is tenfold what this place has to offer so if in the area please make sure to take your time and go about a hundred feet to the right and avoid pescado borracho and their lackluster customer service and mediocre salsa and food. read more

We try and come here nearly every Tuesday and Thursday for their great deals! It is truly delicious and the customer service is top notch! The owner is so sweet, and all of the wait staff help each other with filling drinks and bringing out food. Their hostess are also always so sweet! Love eating here! read more

I love the food here!! I would give it 5 stars, but because of atmosphere, I wanted to give it a 3. The first time I ordered take out, pazole' and a chicken taco. It was delicious, many unique ingredients in the taco and the pazole' had fresh radishes, cilantro, and avacado. Yummy!! The next time I decided to dine in. Our waiter was excellent, and the food was amazing. I love their quac, it's real quac with fresh ingredients. I also had a fish taco, it was delicious and a very good potion. I can't explain how good this is but you definitely need to sample the tacos! Ok now for the bad news, the dining area feels cold does not match the wonderful food! and the music was hip hop, ok but so loud I felt like I was in a night club. I am not exageratimg, it was loud. We mentioned the loud music to our waiter and he kindly told the manager on duty. She looked over at us, then never touched the music volume until we were walking out the door. I really wish the atmosphere resembled the same sophistication the food displayed, and the prices. But until they pair the two I'll be getting take out! None the less I'm excited for a great food option and I will be back! read more

Yelpers nailed this one. Awesome tacos! Our group tried as many different tacos as we could. Octopus was top notch as was the ahi tuna and the blackened salmon. We tried several others and loved everything we ordered. Service was great as were the $4 margaritas ("Margarita Monday"). We got chips and salsa and guacamole and two tacos was almost too much. Don't miss this place! read more

Went for the first time to try this place. The salsa was very tasty, not too spicy but a nice spicy after taste. We had a tuna poke taco and a brisket taco along with the chicken quesadilla. I have to say the quesadilla was one of the best I have had. It has great flavor and a crispness to it. Service was great. Would definitely go back here again read more

The food was cold and flavorless, ordered a regular basic michelada it was AWFUL AWFUL JUST AWFUL. wouldn't recommend this place, and the girls in the front just stood around didn't greet customers or say good bye once we left. Never coming here again read more

A mostly positive experience, with one negative. We ate here today for the first time. When we sat down, we were approached by our waiter who asked us if we wanted "chips, salsa, and guac". The way he presented it made it seem as if these items came together in a group. We said yes. The menu indicates that the first order of chips and dips are free, so we assumed that this was all complimentary. While it is true that you do receive 1 complimentary order of chips and salsa, you do not receive the guac complimentary. The guac is $8. The tacos were excellent, but we left feeling a little like we were "tricked" into getting the guac. Our waiter was otherwise friendly. When eating here, be aware of what is complimentary and what isn't! read more

We checked out Pescado Borracho based on Yelp reviews for Mother's Day. The restaurant had a casual up beat atmosphere and the servers took our order quickly. We had the shrimp, carne asada, chorizo, and fish tacos and none really lived up to the hype on Yelp! Everything was ok but we would not come back again. The menu said the shrimp was grilled but it wasn't, just seemed steamed or even boiled. The carne asada was extremely dry and the chorizo was pasty. The presentation was nice and the tacos came out looking better than they tasted. read more

There was no place to sit and wait for a take out order, so I went back to my car with the menu and tried calling to place my order. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, I called back, but the line just gave a busy signal several times. I ended up going back inside to place the order in person and awkwardly waited by the door for my food and while this was happening, cops arrived because someone got kicked out. Definitely an awkward situation for our first experience. When my order was ready, I had to ask for utensils, which weren't included. The atmosphere definitely feels authentically Mexican, though. We ordered a shrimp burrito, which was a bit plain and dry--just rice, fajita veggies, and shrimp. The fish and chips were better, with a good sized portion of fries.

It was about 5:30 PM on a Wednesday and the place was Poppin! The bar was completely full and it was loud!. We did not have a reservation and the only open seating was at the bar or high tops in the bar area. We were quickly greeted and our server was incredibly on top of it! I noticed that the main menu had a line at the bottom that stated a gluten-free menu would be available upon request. I did ask to see this menu as gluten-free is my dietary preference, not an allergyand I was brought a complementary gluten-free bun instead of the pretzel bread. I thanked our server and told him not to worry that it was just a preference and he told me that he treats all gluten friendly requests as an allergy. I really appreciated the care and concern he had for my health and well-being. This is unprecedented at most restaurants. They had a very extensive gluten-free menu and I can't wait to go back and try so many more items. We did try the Leonard burger and made quite a few modification requests - all of which were 100% accommodated. This burger was so incredibly juicy! My entire hand was dripping by the time I got done eating it. Everything else we tried was delicious. I have no complaints or suggestions for improvement and will definitely be returning soon!

Food was not even average. Chips and Salsa were excellent. Raspberry Habanero Margarita was tasty but light on alcohol. Carne Asada fajitas were served with mushy onions and peppers. The veggies should be freshly sautéed when ordered and have some bite to them. These were obviously prepared earlier and sat around for hours. Carne Asada was ok but clearly nothing special. Refried beans were average. Mexican rice was very tasty but served in a ramekin. It was a lump of sticky rice. No Individual grains here. Chicken Chimichanga was not hot and crispy on the outside. The queso dip that was smothered on top had congealed and looked like vanilla frosting. It was gross. The filling was tasty after scrapping away the tortilla on the outside but it was mostly rice. The chicken was hard to find. Mexican corn appetizer was old, greasy and swimming in butter. Definitely made earlier in the day and sat around staying warm. Definitely not worth going back and would not recommend. read more

Pescado Borracho is an absolute gem! My wife, our baby, and I decided to try out this new restaurant, and oh boy, were we in for a treat. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with amazing service. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. My wife declared she had one of the best margaritas of her life, while I thoroughly enjoyed my colada. We shared the octopus tacos and the whole fried snapper, and let me tell you, it was love at first bite with those octopus tacos! The fried snapper was perfectly cooked, deliciously juicy, and absolutely mouthwatering. And I can't forget the chips and salsa - the best I've ever had! The chips were fresh, and the salsa had a smoky flavor with just the right amount of heat, making it super addictive. Thank you, Pescado Borracho, for a beautiful experience.
