Fantastic restaurant with fantastic views and service. We loved everything about the place and will return most definitely.

Unfortunately-this visit was very disappointing- 4 of us dined there last night. The charcuterie board was very good, girls had salads- just ok, the waiter recommended the wagyu steak $125 per steak- this is where it went downhill fast- we ordered the steak pittsburg grilled on outside and medium inside- both steaks looked gray- no char was visible and mine was rare- I asked for it to be cooked more - but when it came back it was hard to cut and still bloody. There is no way that steak was wagyu quality. The staff tried to make it right- but having to wait when the other guest ate- made the experience terrible. I ordered the sea bass which was very good. I will never order a steak there again. If your selling a $125.00 steak it should be perfect. read more

I really have hesitated writing this after giving them such a glowing review. But after the last 4 visits being such major disappointments, I feel I need to update it. After coming here for 3 years now, it started out great but has declined in ways that last night we decided it would be our last visit. The views of sunset are unmatched, but that's all that's going for them from our past 4 visits. I'll get right to it. Was told the ribeye was $85(Ala cart), ended up being $95(servers should know the prices of market priced meals). This ribeye is seriously only worth $40 at any other restaurant, I asked for it medium rare, it came out well done. I never mind spending money on quality food/experience, but that did not occur. I ended up eating most of my wife's meal as her fish was dry and asparagus wasn't fully cooked. We wanted to get dessert with chocolate and a port wine, so we ordered the S'mores and a port wine for each of us. Port($18/glass) was delivered immediately, in a totally wrong type of glass that you'd enjoy port in. Dessert came out 20 minutes later, with the smallest amount of chocolate, that I wouldn't even consider there being chocolate as part of the dessert, it was just a little doodle of chocolate on the plate. We had basically finished our port wine(which was meant to be paired with the dessert) and just asked the server to return it as the dessert was so underwhelming. The server just stopped and said she'd get a manager, the manager came over and as I started to explain all of this, he just gave me the most confused look, so I realized it wasn't worth continuing my feedback about all that happened. They took the dessert off the tab. Meal ended up being $260, which I understand in a tourist heavy area we live is fairly normal, but you need to create food and experience worthy of those prices. As we walked out the manager just said "bye folks hope you enjoyed your meal" though we just had conversed with him about our issues. If you are going to serve high end food and high end beverages, everyone needs to be trained on how to prepare and serve them. I didn't spend $18 a glass on port for my wife and I, for it to be brought out in a regular glass that doesn't allow it to breathe, or be properly enjoyed with. read more

So my initial interaction with Pescado was not the best. I had a hard time even getting a reservation for a bachelorette party of 7. It wasn't till I actually got there in person where I was able to talk to Chad and he was the BEST. He was very nice & understanding and made sure to try and accommodate us despite how busy they were that night. The food/service/ and views did not disappoint. The shareable portions that they have are huge so we had lots of leftovers. We ordered two Cantonese Lobster (shareable) and I believe the other shareable we got was the Steak Tartare. With the three shareables we got, we were planning on splitting between 6 people and it was sooo much food!! I think had we known how big the portion was we wouldn't have gotten as much. Needless to say, the food was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend the Cantonese Lobster!! We also each got an espresso martini which was to die for! Everyone had nothing but good things to say about both the food and drinks! We had such a great time and we were more than pleased with our experience considering Pescado was our top choice of places to eat at in the area. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice elegant outing with a small group or your significant other So moral of the review... talk to Chad! read more

10 stars if I could! You MUST COME HERE! Pescado is such a lovely restaurant, my husband and I were in the area for 6 nights, and 3 of them were spent having dinner at your lovely restaurant! From the courtyard downstairs with live music and light bites, to the rooftop with its lovely view, everything was excellent. You made our honeymoon even more special than we expected! All 3 nights the food was fantastic, we tried different small plates, deserts, and drinks, and each one was impeccable, If you have food allergies/sensitivities, they are so accommodating and helpful! The rack of lamb, octopus, Cevice, beef tartar & roasted bone marrow, the mushrooms, literally everything was divine. The almond cake was absolutly delightful, so much so that we got it each time for desert, and it was Gluten and dairy free(if you hold the ice cream) cocktails and cocktails are lovely, service is outstanding, views are amazing... honestly you cannot go wrong. The house made chips, fried pork belly, and the duck confit poutine in the court yard were amazing too!!! We will be back the next time we are in Florida, and recommend Pescado to everyone we meet, although we are wondering if we should keep this little gem, our secret.... its so good... its hard not to keep it for your self. read more

Best meal we had all week here in Rosemary! We came for lunch and James our serves was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He offered great recommendations and the food was excellent. Fire the blowhard judge-mental host & place would be awesome. Host was not helpful in the slightest and incredibly rude. Provided no information as to when table would be ready, also lied about available tables. (Let us go all the way home when table was clearly ready when we walked up). He kind of ruins the vibe as soon as you walk up. Rude and too ugly to work at this restaurant. Food is amazing. Sticky ribs one of the best things I've ever eaten. Service quick and correct. My friends and I had the best night tonight at Pescado! It all started out with their amazing host, Chad, welcoming us and helping us get a table even though we didn't have a reservation. He was so kind and attentive! We sat outside on the balcony with the most beautiful view (literally, best table in the restaurant!) and had the best drinks and food! Hannah, our waitress, gave amazing recommendations and was amazing! We were so blown away by how good EVERYTHING was, worth every penny! Pescado is situated at the top of a beautiful view overlooking Rosemary Beach. If you are lucky enough to have a reservation inside, you'll be treated a nice atmosphere, but it can not compete with the outer "rooftop" bar / dining area. Some of the outer seating area may be subject to a lot of sun so depending on the time you are seated, you may be in for a lot of bright light in your face. Most of the seating is covered though for the evenings. We ordered their shrimp and polenta appetizer which was phenomenal. While the plate is small, the flavor is massive as the shrimp are perfectly grilled and seasoned with an equally impressive polenta cake and garnish. Our main course consisted of the Cantonese-style Lobster tail and Yakisoba noodles. Having devoured the excellent shrimp appetizer we looked forward to the main course. While it's presentation was epic, the flavor was surprisingly lacking. Typically, I prefer my lobster to be the star of the dish with a helpful hand of butter and lemon to brighten and support the protein. I was disappointed to find this epic lobster tail tasted more of soy-yaki glaze and tempura batter than lobster at all. The gargantuan 3-lb lobster tail was served on top of a bed of their Yakisoba noodles which were cooked perfectly and tasted great, however the overall flavor composition of the dish between the two components did not compliment each other. Rather, the lobster and yakisoba noodles seemed to inherit each other's heavy, soy-yaki-tempura flavor and made for a rather boring dish that I would not pay $160 for again. We rounded out the evening with a few of their delightful cocktails overlooking a stunning view, mildly disappointed with their arguably signature dish, but happy to experience a unique and interesting place. read more

Great service and food. They have plates of multiple portion sizes, including sharable and tapas. We ordered tapas style, and ate Asian BBQ short ribs, tripletail ceviche, and pork belly. The portion sizes were enough to share and 3 plates were enough between the two of us. Will come back. Also the sunset was very nice from their outdoor seating which is on the top floor, facing the gulf. They open at 4p and the wait time gets increasingly longer as you arrive later. We waited about 2hrs for a table, which they text you when ready, but it didn't matter as we got drinks downstairs at 'the courtyard' at Pescado, and listened to live music by Duncan Crittenden, as well as walked around Rosemary and checked out the stores. read more

After multiple trips to Rosemary Beach we finally got around to trying this place out. The food was by no means bad but it was far from memorable. Slight attitudes from the down stairs hostess, to the upstairs hostess and our waitress was a bit on the bland side of upbeat and positive. I don't get the hype of this place, I understand that it has a view if you're lucky enough to get an outside table but the food is average and way over priced, even for an upscale beach town. The atmosphere is on par with your local deli, there were multiple available tables throughout our entire meal (even though they said they were fully booked), and the deserts were some of the worst I've ever had. I guess we just expected more given the hype and reputation surrounding the place, they certainly seem to have the "influencers" fooled into believing it's top rate but anyone that's well traveled with a refined palate will leave feeling underwhelmed. If you want a quality meal without the artificial hype head over to the Cafe Thirty-A, it's far and away the best the area has to offer . read more

We made reservations for my birthday dinner here. It was beautiful decor and our waiter was extremely friendly. They changed our table when I asked closer to the Christmas tree. It made my day. Having retired from writing the restaurant reviews for the local newspaper here in South Walton many years ago, I decided to somewhat come out of retirement to post a review here on Yelp. Pescado is a just opened (two nights ago) restaurant in Rosemary Beach and it certainly deserves excellent press. I should say that although I loved Pescado, we are incredibly fortunate to have some excellent restaurants on CR-30A including the truly outstanding Paradis right across the way and others in Rosemary like Havana Cafe at The Pearl, Edward's with their live music and black and white movies on the wall, La Crema with its charming Spanish tapas, Wild Olives and family favorite Cowgirl Kitchen. I could go on and on with great restaurants on CR-30A - like George's and Caliza Pool in Alys Beach (along with the neat little wine bar there - named Neat), the beautiful and delicious Surfing Deer in Seagrove, great Italian at Borago in Grayton and on and on. Not on CR-30A but super close on the very east end and on Hwy 98 you have the wonderful Cuvee 30A in 30Avenue. But for this occasion, it's about Pescado. Perched on the top (fourth) floor of the just completed building (limited number of residences on the other floors with nice pizza joint on the first floor) in Rosemary next to the post office this adult's only (have to be 18 to enter) restaurant oozes sex appeal with its view of the gulf, its well done interior, its inside and outside dining, its music, its food and wine. Chef Ken Duenas, who was a long time chef at one of CR-30A's top restaurants, has been allowed to let his creative prowess cut loose and he fully delivers. It looks good on paper, it looks good on the plate and everything we had on our first visit was excellent to consume. Jeremy Hicks is doing a great job of pulling it altogether as General Manager and Slayde Martin has outdone himself as Beverage Manager. I say that related to the wine list, as I am no spirits expert but we really enjoyed the EnRoute Pinot Noir (from Far Niente/Nickel & Nickel), the Saget Dom Perrierre Sancerre (Sauvignon Blanc), the Rock Angel Rose' from Provence and a few more...all were delicious and well selected by Slayde. We started with the Seafood Salad, which was beautifully presented and really sang with its sesame dressing...then to the Grilled Hamachi Kama (the collar of yellowtail with roasted eggplant and chayote-lime salsa - all pulled together with guanciale - think diced and crispy pork belly)... For the main course we went with the Scallops with Brussel Sprout Kimchi (you've got to like Kimchi - my dining companion does and she loved it). I had duck three ways - pepper crusted breast, leg confit and foie gras - all held together with chorizo oil and blueberry gastrique...outstanding! Folks were fighting over the EnRoute Pinot Noir at this point..all the red wines are served at just the right temperature. You better make those reservations. The place isn't that large, and seats could be at a premium. read more

We ordered a couple of drinks, as well as the cheese board, lobster, and two desserts to share. The cheese board came with SO much food! The lobster was good (a little tough), but we could not stop eating the noodles that came with it. The desserts were very good, but nothing I would say is an absolute must. Party of 10, flawless execution with the food and the service. Everyone was raving about their choices. I had the Wreckfish which I've never heard of but is like Grouper. Very good! I also had the Beet Salad and Roasted Cauliflower. Wife had Tenderloin which was perfectly cooked and served with Roasted Portobello Mushroom and Fingerling Potatoes. Such a wonderful restaurant to enjoy Sunday brunch! My husband and I came here in hopes of eating good food and watching the USWNT world cup final and Pescado did not disappoint! Los Guidrys Thoughts and Recommendations: - Come early! We walked up to Pescado right at 10AM when they open and there were already a few groups of people waiting to give the host their name! We waited outside about 10 minutes before being able to head up on the elevator. - Only 1 TV. If you care about this just be aware there is just 1 small TV with visibility from the indoor bar only. - Views are beautiful from the indoor bar! I think most people prefer an outdoor table on the patio. But if you're not lucky enough to get one the the indoor bar is the next best thing. You still get views to the ocean, skies and Rosemary town. - Food was phenomenal! My husband and I shared the chicken and waffles, the Pescado Omelette, and a side of bacon and everything was perfect! We loved that they used dark meat for the chicken and waffles and they did not skimp on the ham and cheese for the omelette. - Service was great. The bartender was timely to take our drink and food orders, refill our waters, and check on us in general. Overall we had a great brunch experience here and recommend adding this to your itinerary if you're staying in Rosemary. Hope this helps! read more

We have been to Pescado for dining and a wedding, and the service has been outstanding each and every visit. While waiting for our table last visit, we were afforded the opportunity to have drinks downstairs at The Courtyard. The bartenders and the ambience were both top notch.
