Meh... went last night at 6:30. Fun trendy crowd, upscale feel. Was looking forward to a great fish dish. Mussels and clam app was very yum. My "Rosemary" cocktail fun and refreshing. Husband got duck and it was really good my "market fish of the day" was awful. It was wayyyyy overdone and tough and chewy. Could only eat 1/2. We had dinner here on a girls trip - there were 6 of us and we were able to get a table without a reservation. The staff was so accommodating. Summer waited on us and she was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious and the water views from the bar were perfect. We had such a great experience that we went back the next day! Will definitely visit again on our next trip. read more

The more reviews I read the more I realize the experience we had was not a one time occurrence. We had a large party and were more than happy to wait or split up. The hostess at the front was the rudest person we have dealt with at a restaurant. When we offered to split into two tables of 5 and 4. She didn't even bother looking at the wait list but instead told us we could not be accommodated or added to the wait list. What restaurant just refuses to sit customers because they walked in together? Just seems like the craziest thing we have ever encountered. Would never go back. Went to la crema instead and the experience was 1 million times better from the get go. read more

What a wonderful find. The food had that little pop that reminds you of what great foods taste like. There is a view of the gulf and while we didn't have a cloud-free sunset it is a great spot on a beautiful evening. Our server Tatiana was fantastic with great recommendations and timely service-so nice to be in a restaurant with professional service staff. We've encountered so many first week waiters who are very friendly but they are not to be seen when you need them. This restaurant has a very high level of service. Even the people who clean tables and refill water glasses are great. We talked a bit with Sky who had been with the restaurant for several years. Attention to detail is excellent. The manager, Chad , has fielded a great team and training them well. It's a wonderful dining experience with great ambiance, service, food and they all make you feel special. Best dinner experience I've had in the United States. They were booked months in advance so we had to put our name down and walk around and grab a drink (or two), and it was well worth the wait. Reservations are for indoor seating only, and the rooftop view we had was amazing. Mark took excellent care of us and paced our variety of starters, drinks, mains and dessert. The beef tartare over bone marrow still has me drooling. The drink special of the day was a mango margarita that was not-so-sweet and oh-so-flavorful. The fish of the day had crispy skin and the Wagyu melted in your mouth, everything cooked to perfection. The entire group agrees we would go back in a heartbeat! read more

Had an early dinner here while on vacation at Rosemary Beach. We (party of 4) didn't have reservations and expected to sit at the outside bar area. Luckily, there was a table inside available which we preferred. We ordered the Chateaubriand (enough for 3 people) and 2 orders of Chimichurri Shrimp and the Brussel sprouts. Went back the second night and there was not a item that we had that was bad! Can't complain we got the lobster noodles and it was phenomenal!! The view overlooks Rosemary Beach & The Gulf of Mexico with absolutely gorgeous sunsets. The Steak Tartare (under raw bar) with truffle oil and topped with a quail egg is one of my favorites. This was our second time back to Pescado and I had been craving the steak tartare since I ordered it the first time. The Pan Roasted Pork Belly off the Small Bites was delicious! We also ordered the Whole Lobster under shareables and it was out of this world- served over stir-fried noodles and cooked perfectly. read more

Nice setting and good atmosphere if you're looking for a nice date night or drinks with friends. Food was good but a bit overpriced. Drinks were extremely expensive so don't plan on getting more than 1-2 if you're on any kind of budget. Best part was the view of the water at sundown. read more

When Pescado first opened we couldn't get enough of it. Over the past couple of years, however, the service and food has been sub par for the amount of money and wait time it takes to dine. I've always loved Pescado, the atmosphere, service, and food up until this last visit was my favorite place to be on 30A. I also always knew it was expensive, but it was worth it based on my past experiences there. I am not sure if they are under new ownership, but this last visit was very sub par. First of all, we ordered the seafood tower which is over $150, knowing that we were being a little over the top but we were celebrating. We ordered it along with a few other items to split, and they brought out all items at once and overcrowded the table. The seafood basically came out in a pile, was very fishy, and one of the three of us ended up getting sick following dinner. We ordered the cheese board which was pitched to us as having "specialty cheeses," it was two of the same kinds of cheese that were pre sliced, a dab of honey, pickles, and a few crackers. The caesar salad came out as leaves stacked on top of each other, but honestly the least of our worries. The seafood dish we ordered outside of the tower was cold. While our waitress was very kind, it was a slow night and our table felt like we were being hurried along given the presentation of the food. The meal ended up costing over $500 for three people, which we were willing to pay based on our previous feelings of Pescado but this time we felt kind of ripped off? Truly putting this here so they can take note, and because it made us all sad that one of our favorite places was so disappointing. read more

Pescado feels like it fits perfectly in Rosemary Beach, which is saying a lot. The wife and I went for an anniversary dinner without the kids and no reservations and had no issues getting a table along the patio wall overlooking the beach and the sunset (we had maybe a 20 minute wait). The drinks were quite good - try the margarita and get one of their local beers. The seafood salad appetizer was fantastic and light, but loaded with chunks of good seafood and no filler. The veal cheek entree was something I've never had and it was a pleasant surprise. Highlight of the meal - oddly - was the Bibb salad. Great spot for an adult dinner away. Try to get on the patio and enjoy the views. read more

Took our teens to Rosemary Beach for Spring Break and ended up at Pescado our last two nights. We were lucky to get in quickly both nights and sat in the downstairs bar. The live music was great! On the first night, the bartender was great but on our second night, our waiter (Sky) was phenomenal. She made wonderful drink recommendations, was super friendly and provided just the right amount of attentiveness. If you're sitting in the bar area you can only order from the Quick Bites menu. Every item we ordered both nights was delicious, especially the cheese board which was a pretty full board considering it was on the Quick Bites menu. Another nice thing about Pescado is it's only 18 years and older for dinner time which is really nice during Spring Break season when it's teenage central. We will definitely go back to Pescado anytime we are in the area. read more

Everything about this place is outstanding... the views, the drinks, and food... and the staff could not have been friendlier. Second time eating here and the highlight of our trip. Reservations are booked very far in advance and you have to sit inside. We wanted to sit outside anyway. We got there about 4:30 and got the last table on the external rail which was unbelievable and lucky. Our server was absolutely unbelievable. She really took her time explaining items so we could make good decisions. The food was absolutely superb. We were disappointed by the chili shrimp. The ceviche was delicious but too small. We were amazed by the scallops (wish there were 3 not 2). Paella also was delicious and necessary to satisfy our appetites. The French white wine we got was unbelievable. She let us taste two white wines before selecting. They also have a unique liquor list. I got a really rare & delicious bourbon for $16 which in 30A seemed like a bargain. We had fresh silverware for every plate. Water never dry. Food served delicately and was delicious. Entire staff knows what they are doing. We were celebrating our anniversary and stayed there for 2.5 hours as if we were in Europe. This is the place to go to. read more

Probably the worst I had as was not chopped enough and had a lot of fishy taste and a lot of dark meat fish. Finished off with the crème brûlée which was good.
