Love love love this place! I've been many times and have never had anything but a fantastic experience. And we typically order at least half the menu. I mean, how can you NOT order all the raw bar items and the small plates?? We bring every guest we have to this restaurant. Every. one. I was certain that nothing would beat my love for the pork belly and I can say that ordering is now so difficult for me because there are so many options I have a hard time looking past. The bar is fantastic as well. Great drinks. The setting is beyond reproach and I'm happy they covered the outside patio (roof only with fans) as it can get hot. But the bar inside has spectacular views too. The wait staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Our server saw what kinds of wines we each were ordering and suggested a new Spanish variety for us to share. And she nailed it. One of my favorite wines to date!! And if you're lucky, like we were one night, the blue angels will fly by in formation at sunset. What a show! Food is good, restaurant is cute, BUT... the dark-haired girl checking people in is incredibly rude. I came in town to visit my parents, and they had been to Pescado a few nights previously and noted that the hostess was rude. Once I was in town, they decided that maybe their experience was a fluke and decided that we'd go over and see if there were any spots available for dinner. You should probably make a reservation ahead of time, but they usually have a waitlist and some spots open when it's not as busy, like this weekend. We walked up, and from the start, the hostess was rude to the man who came before us, who ended up leaving and was obviously a bit taken aback by the hostess. The hostess was then short with us and rude. All my father asked was if they had room for three and if we could wait at the bar for a while until they had an opening. "It's full," she said curtly. He asked something along the lines of, "What do you mean by full? Is the restaurant full? Because it's no problem, we expected that. We can just wait and get a couple drinks in the meantime." Hostess: "The waitlist is full." "How many people are on the waitlist?" Hostess: "It's full." "Yes, but how many people are on it? If it's not a long waitlist we could wait and see if there's an opening." Hostess: "10 parties." "Okay, thank you, that's all I wanted to know." At some point before the end of that conversation, I had asked if we could sit at the bar for drinks. She just snapped at me that the bar was full and never responded to anything else I asked her as if I wasn't also there next to my father. Just because I'm in my early twenties and young doesn't mean I should be ignored. I'm twenty-two, not twelve. That's blatantly rude. We ended up leaving and walking over to Edward's to have dinner. The next day, my father passed a group of ladies who were specifically talking about how rude this dark-haired hostess at Pescado was! They need to handle this, because it's definitely turned us off from an otherwise nice restaurant. read more

I was shocked to see the total disregard for public safety when i entered the restaurant on July 4. We are in the middle of a pandemic, with COVID-19 rates skyrocketing in Florida, and this restaurant was packed with no social distancing between the tables (packed in like sardines) and NONE of the staff, hostesses, waiters, bartenders were wearing FACE MASKS!?!? I think it is COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE that the owners would allow this to happen. This place is begging for an outbreak. I strongly suggest that this restaurant require face masks for all employees and all guests that walk into the restaurant - it is not difficult to do. We all want businesses to thrive and the economy to gain steam, but actions like these are unacceptable. But, their attention to customers calling is as pitiful as any business I've ever known. I will not dine here again due to the level of disrespect shown to customers calling. Definitely the best view and restaurant in Rosemary Beach. A rooftop location affords a view of the gulf and Rosemary. Bar is indoor/outdoor but is enclosed in winter months. Reservations are highly recommended because there isn't a lot of seating. They also don't allow anyone under 16 (maybe it's 18). There is an elevator to get in that is monitored by the host and they check to see if bar has space for you prior to letting you up. They have an extensive wine list. Their food is always good. Very eclectic and more fish dishes than meat. Their filet is great as is their Tomahawk. I hear the Sunday brunch is very good but haven't been to it. Had both the holiday meal and New Years Eve meal and both were excellent. Octopus is on menu. Prices are on high side but are worth it. Recommend highly for the best dinner in the area. read more

Our waiter Caleb was great. However, I recommend to not go after 12:30. Some items were over cooked, and some were under cooked. This was simply one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had...I've been lucky enough to have quite a few. The service was impeccable, but the food was just off the charts. The Lobster dinner that Becky complained about was 4 huge Lobsters and can feed at least 3 people and more likely 4....the wholesale cost to the restaurant went down and they passed that along to the consumer and lowered the price on that dish to $130.00. We asked!! The quality of that dish as well as the mass amount of food makes that an incredible bargain and certainly not worthy of a 1 Star review.....absolutely ridiculous. Please ignore Becky's 1 Star (can't please everybody) review. I have no ownership or skin in this game other than I can't stand to see a review like Becky's lower the overall star rating to a 4 from an obvious 5 because some people got drunk in the presence of Becky and she thinks she knows the market price off Lobster in Fl off the top of her head. For the price, food is really mediocre. The short rib is not cooked properly so it's chewy when it's supposed to be falling off the bone. The lobster dish for two - breading is too thick. Ceviche- could have chopped the jalapeño. Dessert .... The apple cobbler is not a cobbler it's more like a pound cake with apple sauce. Overall, feels like the restaurant is trying to be unique and creative with international cuisine (Chinese food) but the chef only know Chinese food from Panda Express. read more

The food here was phenomenal. We caught sunset at an outdoor table which made the experience even more spectacular. There was a little bit of a wait which we expected and didn't mind. However, as a higher risk Covid person, there was definitely no distancing or masks anywhere. We were outside so the distancing didn't bother me as much as the waitstaff without masks on. My husband and I drank out of 1 water glass (mine) the entire meal because our waitress talked about the entire menu directly over his glass/small plate. What an experience!! My husband and I came for dinner and loved the lobster and noodle entree for two! We were so happy with our dining experience that we came back for brunch the next morning. I consider myself a foodie so keep this in mind when I say this... Pescado has the best brunch we have ever had! Their french toast was inventive, creative, and delicious!! My husband got the fried chicken and waffles and was blown away. It was best said by our waiter from ATL (I also lived in ATL for 6 years) "The chicken and waffles are better than Atlanta's" He was so RIGHT!! Let's not forget about their bacon either! I'm not talking about the cheap crispy bacon that's super thin. Check out the pic below for one of the thickest slices of bacon with such an amazing flavor! We ordered two sides! Off the mark. This is a very classy restaurant and some of the food is delicious, but they are off their game right now. The lobster was impressive looking, and MKT is certainly a warning, but for $180 it'd better cooked to perfection. Ours was unfortunately overdone. We should have sent it back when our server struggled to get it out of the shell. They misunderstood my drink order, and then charged me for a soda water and a separate shot: in other words, I ordered an amaretto and soda and was charged for the liquor and soda separately. Not classy. Considering the two of us had only one drink a piece, the $300 bill was a surprise. We still tipped well because our staff was great and the small plates were delicious, but we left disappointed, so we're leaving this review to let fellow travelers know that this restaurant has five star prices but unfortunately three star quality right now. read more

i Know it's hard times for restaurants but if a patron orders a glass of wine, in which the cost of 1 glass in most cases is what you paid for entire bottle, give them more than 2 inches in the glass. Ate dinner a few weeks ago and had a glass of white and red and both pours were a complete insult - will not partake in wine at your restaurant again and the food was just so so - so maybe skip all together. in addition - if your making a Cesar salad, you should not put strictly manyoise on the romaine - put salt pepper and garlic and lemon - really simple - you can do better and should for the prices your charging. read more

Beware of hair! We ordered Martinis and mine had a hair floating on top. My friend was almost finished with hers and there was a hair in hers also. We received our food and the sides were wrong. They fixed the situation but then we received the wrong side again so didn't say anything. Then they realized it and brought us the correct side. We spoke to the manager a few times and he seemed to have had an attitude for some reason when nothing that happened was our fault. My fiancé and I went here Saturday night as we were staying across the way at The Pearl. First off, there was a party of 4 sitting next to us that was completely hammered and cursing and spilling red wine everywhere. While I know they cannot control their patronage, they actually continued to serve them alcohol! However, that is not why the 1 star. The reason I feel like I need to forewarn people is because my fiancé and I decided to split lobster dinner as we were not particularly hungry. Lobster was listed on menu at Market Price. We are from NY and are well versed in what a lobster goes for ($75 maybe? $90 most?), so imagine our surprise when we were charged $150 for the lobster dinner! And to make matters worse, they added sides to the entree and then charged us for them!! How would we know the meal didn't come with these items, especially if we didn't order them. So when I called the waitress over to discuss the prices she said 'well, you didn't ask'. Seriously?!?! Anyway, never again and I will certainly share my experience because it was just WRONG and UNFAIR!!! read more

Beware - I made a reservation (which is still a week away) and they asked for a credit card to hold the reservation, which is frankly unorthodox. I stupidly gave it to them on the understanding it wouldn't be charged unless I didn't show up. Not only did they immediately (same day) charge my card, but also did it twice for a $150. Hey, if you're going to be incompetent really go for it I guess. It has now taken a week of follow-up calls with management and still no resolution (an easily identified error, but no solution, follow-up or apology their end). My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday dinner and had the best meal we have ever had. The food was worth every penny and the service was unmatched. We ordered the filet entree and shrimp fettuccine. Both meals were decadent. We also had the "Up in Rosemary" and "Derby Bonnet" cocktails and they were so unique and delicious. We were in town from Michigan for a wedding a couple weeks back. Hadn't ate out in 3 months due to covid....this place was a perfect stop. Amazing rum old fashioned, and the best creme brûlée I've EVER had (it was vanilla). I'm a pastry arts graduate so that says a lot!!! Amazing patio bar service. Pescado is a fancy beach restaurant with pastel colors and fancy cocktails. The view is nice -view of roofs and the ocean. We were a group of 8 on a Saturday evening. I would say the servers and staff were stressed. They were not as nice and inviting as the decoration. We ordered a few appetizers for the table. The bread service was the favorite. The BBQ short ribs were a bit salty and hard but the sticky rice was perfect for the crowd that had been drinking all day. The seafood salad was okay. Then we ordered a paella. The rice was well cooked which is very tricky to achieve with paella's. The rice/protein ratio was off however, more rice than seafood and more sausage than clams... I was satisfied, as it is plenty of food for two. The flavor was good without being salty. The food was good but not outstanding. The place, the decor, the ambiance and even the seafood smell was promising but in my opinion felt short. I would give it another chance however. read more

This was our second year coming to Pescado, and the experience once again did not disappoint. The food, cocktails, service, and view all combine to make a great dining experience that is refined and trendy yet still has a laid-back, beach vibe. It is nearly impossible to make a reservation -- which makes no sense because there have been tons of tables open at times with "no availability" according to the internet -- but we decided to press our luck and successfully landed a spot outdoors both times. Therefore, don't be discouraged by the apparent lack of available reservations because you may still be able to get in. It's quite expensive (as many things in Rosemary are), but this is a place where I would say spending a little extra is well worth it for the quality of the food and atmosphere. read more

Loved this new restaurant in Rosemary. Walking distance from the Pearl hotel. I made reservations 3 weeks in advance for a 7:45 party of 4. We sat on the beautiful patio. The sun had just set. The view is gorgeous. We had drinks at the bar before dinner and watched the beautiful sky. We enjoyed ceviche for an app. Cauliflower was ok. I preferred it roasted. The entrees were amazing. We had filet, Mediterranean Sea bass and scallops. We all loved our food. Wine list and mixed drinks were excellent. Great date night or girls night place. Has a beach vibe with a modern twist.
