My dad has worked in the pet care industry for almost my whole life, and I've been lucky enough to work with him. Seeing the care he's brought to his own facilities have left me with nearly impossible standards--so you know my 5 stars for Pet Rush Inn are well-earned. I was very nervous about boarding my puppy, Dr. Beverly Crusher. She hasn't been away from my husband and I since we adopted her 4 months ago. We usually take her on trips but we were going to Hawaii, so we had no choice but to board her. Making matters worse was that the last-minute trip lined up with her spay, meaning she'd be in the kennel only a week after her procedure. And I'm a little crazy so of course my mind is running the gamut from "she's going to get an infection!" to "she's going to get sold into dog slavery!" (Unrealistic, yes, but that's what paranoia does.) Pet Rush Inn quickly assuaged my fears. We were given a tour of the facilities before our reservation and I was happy to see how clean and well-maintained everything was. Having toured a lot of boarding facilities before when looking at acquisitions, I know what a "bad" kennel looks like. Even nice ones have a smell of urine to them--but not Pet Rush Inn. Clearly the staff cares deeply about what they do. I was assured that not only would Beverly's current training be maintained, that it would be reinforced. She's crate trained and we were happy that we were allowed to leave her crate with her in her kennel so that she could sleep in it if she wanted to. We were assured that they would keep an eye on her incisions while still allowing her to play, and that they'd deal with her cone when eating. They were also really wonderful every time my husband called to ask how she was doing. We were told she was making new friends, that she was pooping and eating normally, that she was very excited and happy during playtime. For what you're getting, the daily rate is incredible. This is cheaper than other places we looked at and felt that the quality of Pet Rush Inn outstripped the competition. I can't suggest them enough. read more

The absolute best!! We were so worried about leaving our puppy somewhere for a few days while on vacation, but wow! I don't know where to begin. Super professional, friendly, clean, attentive, and so much more! We called to check in how our pup was doing, and they were more than happy to update us. It pains me to write a negative review, but it must be done! I've been a client of Pet Rush for MANY years, their groomer Paulina recently left, but I still decided to take my two puppies, after I picked them up, I noticed one of them was limping and the other one was not being herself, after a couple of day I took her to the vet, they diagnosed her with a neck injury!!!!! I called Pet Rush to let them know the situation and not asking for anything just to advise them that I did not feel comfortable taking my girls to them anymore for grooming, the gentleman advised me that Renee the owner would review the cameras and call me back, never to hear from them again!!!! Thank God I was able to locate Paulina!!!! Look her up on FB, Paulina the groomer! She's still local!!! I can understand a bad hair cut, but I a neck injury, completely unacceptable!!!!! read more

I have to say, I use like this place, until they got rid of the groomer I dealt with for years, and the owner lie to me about it. I was willing to try out their new groomers, but they butchered my dog's hair. The owner tried to fix it, but made our pet look worse.Thank God I was able to find Paulina, the groomer I used for years, still working in Burbank, just at a different groomer. She is the best. I bring my dog in for her baths and I have no complaints at all! Affordable pricing and my dog comes home smelling so good! Highly recommend Alonso and Temo. My dog usually is weird with new people and men and she loves the groomers. That tells me they treat her so well. Could never go anywhere else! No other groomers compare. Rene heard me calming down my dog Marley in another language and asked if that's what he understands and started speaking to Marley in that language! I dropped off my dog here last week for 3 days and they took incredible care of him. I was so scared to leave my dog anywhere, and the staff here made me feel at ease and welcome. My dog isn't very social with other dogs and now when I take him to the dog park, he is playing more. I know it has something to do with the socializing he got at this place! So thankful and happy I found my go to place for boarding. I also bought the grooming package and they cleaned his ears and clipped his nails along with the perfect puppy haircut. Pet Rush inn is a wonderful clean and safe facility that even more importantly is staffed with a very knowledgeable and personable staff! Forgive me if I leave off anyone and apologies for spelling ; Sophia, Chyanne , Rikki, and Elsie are the definition of in good hands. My sweet Pitbull mix won't leave before he says goodbye to them all! The dogs get to play in a safe supervised setting and there is a camera ( I find watching more than working sometimes) that will let you in on your dog's enjoyment. The dogs are grouped with similar energies and given plenty of time to take breaks. I've been to other daycares that do not allow play and the others that don't break it up when it's unsafe. I'm updating my review because I just love this place so much. My family and I have been going to Pet Rush Inn for over 15 years now. We used to bring our Australian Kelpie Baby in for baths allll the time. Sadly Baby has passed away, but I have now started to bring in my new baby Charlie. I bring Charlie in several times a week for Day Care and I both him and I love it! Kevin has been an absolute pleasure and has helped me so much! Charlie loves him. Kevin answers all my questions (and believe me I have ALOT of questions) as I have never had a puppy this young before. He takes his time to explain things and is really passions about his work. I plan on bringing Charlie in for training too! The entire staff at Pet Rush is great and I feel comfortable bringing my boy Charlie here and will continue to bring him. My boyfriend and I were nervous about leaving our Aussie for 12 days as we were flying to Puerto Rico but Rene and Louis made us feel very comfortable. I called several times while traveling and each time they put my nerves at ease telling me how he had made new friends! We picked our dog today and he was freshly bathed and happy to see us! My husband and I are so thankful we found Paulina! She has been grooming our little dog Cooper for 10 years and we will follow her anywhere she goes! In the beginning he would try to bite other groomers who told us he was a bad dog. But the truth was, those groomers were bad for Cooper! From day one Paulina taught our dog how to be groomed and made a real connection with him, which I know she does with all of her dogs, and she always tells us what a good boy Cooper is. He doesn't bite. Actually he is very compliant and even kisses her nose! We know it's because of Paulina. She is wonderful with all dogs, but especially the ones that seem difficult. Paulina is such a blessing to our family. I highly recommend her to all doggies! read more

I took my two dogs to this place and paid around $60 for each for a bath and brush with a 2 add on each but the smell did not last more than a day and they are inside dogs. I have gone to other groomers with similar pricing where the clean smell does last a few days it was kind of disappointing. I will say that the staff was friendly though through the process of booking the appointment- picking them up is just a problem with the bath itself. read more

I would NOT recommend PETS RUSH INN. Especially if your dog has any sort of special needs. This is my third time posting this review as this business tends to knock bad reviews off their list by saying that they are for another business. I left my husky, who was a senior and in need of special handling, with them for a week. It was a big mistake. Granted, my guy was not in the best shape, but all the instructions I provided for his care were completely ignored. To add insult to injury I would call every other day to check in and they would affirm that everything was perfectly fine. I went about my time thinking I would come back with everything in good order. I was wrong. My husky was returned to me in a limp state from having been stuck on a slippery floor for what seemed like hours (at least), he was completely soiled and yellow from days old urine. I couldn't get him to walk on his own for days. Scuffs and bleeding marks lined the underside of his legs and elbows, some of which became infected. There were many vet visits after that. I would maybe consider this place if my dog was young and in perfect health and absolute low maintenance. But even then I'd maybe think twice. Otherwise stay away. Especially if you have a senior dog. read more

First things first - Rene is an angel. The rescue and rehabilitation he does throughout the community is incredible and should be recognized by every pet owner. I will be the first to admit, I am extremely picky and nervous when it comes to services regarding my dog's wellbeing. I brought my dog in this morning for a deep dental cleaning, and again, my nervousness took over. Rene immediately made me feel comfortable and admitted that the cleaning may take more time than expected to ensure that my dog was comfortable and not traumatized. My dog's breath has been beginning to smell and now his teeth are SPARKLING white and his breath is just as light as a puppy's. I recently brought my 11 year old blind dog to Rene to have her nails cut. Since she is blind, she gets very nervous in unknown places. Rene came out, speaking very softly to her, petting her and helping make her more comfortable. At first she was scared, but she went with Rene without hesitation. She came back within 5 minutes wagging her tail, which proves to me that over all of these years, his wonderful care for every dog has not changed. Pet Rush will always be my go to place for grooming because I know that my baby will always be treated with love. I used to work with Rene back in 2005 at the location in Kenneth Village. Prior to working with Rene, I worked at another dog grooming/boarding facility that would get somewhat physical with the dogs when they wouldn't cooperate while being groomed. When I came to work for Pet Rush, it was an eye opener for me because despite any frustrations with dogs having a difficult time being groomed, Rene has always been gentle and loving with every dog brought through his doors. He holds a very high standard to having employees that will treat 'his' pets the same as he does. Great boarding facility! I spent a good amount of time finding a good boarding facility for my 9 year old beagle, and I am so glad we found Pet Rush Inn in Burbank. People who work in this facility are very friendly and you can feel comfortable with the way they interact with your dog ( unlike other places which can be scary even for owners) When we came back to pick up our dog after a week vacation, my dog was happy and clean. This place is wonderful! After doing plenty of research on groomers. I found the best option in Burbank. They have a great website and had a special deal for your pooch's first time there they threw in a flea treatment. So great!!! They gave milo a great haircut & called to tell me he was ready under 2 hours. Pricing awesome & so was owner Rene. My poor baby Milo has had bad experiences with groomers. I have had great service and care from Rene and Mercy at Pet Rush Inn. I first used their services to board my two dogs during Christmas. Their rates were the best in LA, yet their service was better than places that charge much higher day rates. Their facilities are clean and spacious - and they never book more dogs than they can handle. Rene was very flexible with me about drop off and pick up times - even coming in himself on a Sunday during New Years weekend to accommodate my schedule. I also have used Pet Rush Inn to board a rescue that I found. They gave me their special "rescue rate" (which, again, is the best rate in town) and have given this poor little pitbull so much love and attention and special care. I was a little nervous trusting anyone to take care of my dog for Thanksgiving weekend. Based on the reviews I brought him here. Every single person working here is absolutely amazing. Professional and friendly. My only concern is not getting a walk through of the place to see it first. However, it seemed as though my dog really loved the girls working in the office. We bought our beagle Bruce from Pet Rush when they were located in Kenneth village. He has brought so much joy to our lives and Pet Rush is our go to spot for his grooming, baths, nail trim etc. I recommend them to all my friends baths are usually done within an hour or two max but they are willing to watch your pet if you still have a few errands to run which is great! read more

We left out dog for the first time overnight this weekend at Pet Rush. At first I was worried since it was her first time and she was visibly shaken and scared when I was dropping her off! We are very pleased with the staff, especially the owner Rene, he took time with our pit bull and made sure she felt comfortable with being left there over the weekend! I've taken my dog to multiple pet hotels and this one is by far the best. Friendly service, spacious rooms, and daycare comes with the price. If you notice most dog hotels don't post photos of where your dog actually will be staying (wonder why? Really odd) but this place does. This place has been the best since our American Bulley was 3 months. They took him in, treating him and us like family. Chyanne has always made sure to update us on his day to day, Kevin is really knowledgeable with all breeds and I don't see myself going anywhere. This place was great! The price was a little high for what it was but our cat was in good hands. The place was converted from a house and the receptionist and pet groomer were very nice! The price was $85 to shave our cat but we told him it was our first time and he took off $5. I tipped him $5 though so it was $85 in the end LOL.
