This location is where I always bring my pup for what I consider to be a deluxe bath. They have a great facility for dog baths, providing all the necessary tools and shampoos and towels. The units are always clean with warm water and great blowers. read more

We'd just finished a late breakfast next door at Original Pancake House and popped in here to look for some very specific treats that our dogs like. We won't feed them rawhides so it was great to see all sorts of other options and alternatives. There's a Himalayan Yak Cheese chew (yes, that's right) and it takes them each at least a half hour to go through it. Well, we didn't find those but we found other great stuff. I like to shop at Pet Supplies Plus when I'm running out of cat food. They are more expensive than Pet Smart and other brick and mortar pet stores. Parking in the shopping center can get a little crowded on the weekends but usually it's not a problem. They even have a designated parking space for picking up online orders. I've seen lots of cute dogs coming in and out. I've been able to stock up on the essential cat food supplies and dog treats here but they've also got some higher end items as well. I chose to come to this location because it's convenient for me and the staff are friendly. I always love a store where I can bring my furry friend as well. read more

I stumbled upon Pet Supplies Plus while waiting for a table at Original Pancake House in SouthPark. I was (pleasantly) shocked at how big the store was; how much pet merchandise they offer; the varieties of food, toys, etc. they carry; and how competitively/reasonably priced they were! There's even a self-service pet wash in the back! Wow! The store is also locally owned and operated, and the two employees I ran into were super friendly, ready to assist. I didn't have enough time to shop (and didn't need anything at the moment), but I will definitely be back to start buying my dog food, dog toys, etc. here from now on. read more

I usually have a good experience when I come to this location to shop and/or give my dog a bath. Last Monday, 4/ 11 Samantha, the cashier was extremely inattentive and unhelpful. I asked her twice for towels to dry my dog, and she didn't even respond, she just made a gesture with her head. I had to leave and my dog was very wet. Fortunately, it was warm outside. read more

I used to order dog food and supplies from Amazon all the time. That has all changed ever since I visited this store. Do you know they price match? The people who work here are always friendly and I like supporting my local store. I also purchased a dog washing card that allows me to use their dog wash station to wash and dry my dog. I am very glad to see a PPS in charlotte, this location is brand new. They just opened but there are a bunch of clearance signs says what?! Yes marketing. The staff seems decently friendly, shoppers not so much. But hey, maybe just bumped into the wrong people. Dont bring your pet into a pet store if your dog cannot handle being with other dogs. I give this store 5 stars for the customer service alone! Man it has been forever since the customer service was just super outstanding. Everyone working today was amazing and nice. Not to mention knowledgeable. I love pet stores but I especially love this one because of the staff here. The prices are a little bit lower than Pet Smart and the other big chains. This is a locally-owned business very conveniently located for those in the the Elizabeth, Chantilly, Plaza Midwood, Commonwealth and even Eastover neighborhoods. Their pet food and supplies selection eclipses any found in the big box stores and their customer service is exemplary (hint: introduce yourself to Kylie!) This pet store carries all the stuff I can't get at petco. I come here for my dogs food because he has a lot of allergies and can only have the "zignature" brand of dog food which is free from chicken and potatoes. They also carry my cats treats which I can't find anywhere else - they are the Stella and chewy ones. This location is very convenient for me as we frequent the SouthPark area. I like that they have 15 minute "barking" spot in front so you can get in and out when other shops in the center are busy! read more

We go here for all of our fish, dog and cat needs. They are super helpful when we want to add to our aquariums and have a great selection of plants and snails. Gavin is super knowledgeable on aquariums and can help you get set up with your first tank. I really enjoy going to the South Park location. I go at least once a month for new pet supplies and I've never had a bad experience. The staff are always incredibly friendly, offer to take heavy items to my car, and offered a rain check when the item I needed was out of stock. Nice, locally owned pet store! Everything you need from food, animal parts and chews and what I recently discovered, the coolest bathing center ever! I brought Luka, my border collie in and it was the best experience giving him a bath since we got him. 4 types of shampoo and conditioner on a spray/massage nozzle, along with warm water. They even have a little blow dryer to help finish the job! A awesome set up so you don't completely destroy your bathroom at home. Super nice staff too. read more

I love that they have opened one of these closer to my new address. They have a great selection of dog food and the prices are more than fair. What I'm really impressed with is the self service dog wash stations they provide. You walk in through a stall door which allows you to contain your dog in the small area. They provide options for dog shampoo including a shedding shampoo as well as hypo allergenic and a basic option too. There are 2 wash stations available so bringing both my giant dogs was perfect since trying to corral them into my shower becomes an event that in my opinion should be considered a competitive sport. They also provide quiet blow dryers towels sprays and brushes. Sorry I don't remember the sprays because we didn't use them. This place makes bath day a breeze and its only 10 bucks for a half hour. read more
