I ordered deliver and it was an ok wait time. One issue I had is that the delivery driver showed up with my items and they were wrapped in a sweatshirt, not an insulated bag. That lead to my food being warm at best. The taste of the BBQ chicken pizza is horrid. There is a really awful tasty tangy bbq sauce spread as the sauce on the dough and uncoated and unseasoned pieces of chicken tossed on top. There is really little flavor to speak of, except the awful bbq sauce and cheese. Then to pay $5.95 for 4 cheesy bread sticks which taste like fried dough with a minimum amount of cheese inside doesn't sit well. Overall, I would recommend skipping Pete's. read more

This is our go to pizza place for when we're lazy. We generally order either sausage or sausage and pepperoni, which coupled with our collection of hot sauces is a great meal, well at least it tastes pretty good. The sides and what not are actually pretty decent as well, though the wings were a bit buttery. Anyway, I highly recommend pete's for a decent pizza when you're feeling lazy. Great pizza, great wings, great cannolis, but bad pasta. I ordered the chicken parmesan recently, and the chicken was overcooked to the point of dryness, along with nowhere near enough marinara sauce to go with it. I was disappointed in that, however, the pizza never fails to impress me. The sauce is lightly sweet, the sausage is delicious, and the crust is just perfect. We have been loyal customers of Pete's for years. I love their thin crust pizza and they have some of the best sauce around. They had a issue with drivers a while back so we soured on their delivery but as of late everything seems to be back to normal and it's back in our top 3! read more

Best thin crust Pizza in Chicago, hands down. I am an expert on pizza, as I have worked in the business for over 25 years at many top Pizza establishments, and this is the best. The atmosphere cators to adults and families. I took my son there for his birthday and while everyone got stuffed, there wasn't a slice left, as I made sure to that, as it is THAT amazing. I really like Pete's Pizza. The thin crust is crunchy, they add tons of ingredients, good amount of cheese, and the sauce is just a bit sweet. I probably ordered from them over 100 times when I lived in Lincoln Square, pizza always arrived hot. I noticed since I moved to Albany Park, the pizza always arrives cold. Because of this, I'll probably have to find a new place for pizza, but if you live close to them, try it. read more

We went to Pete's by accident today. We were looking for a quick place for lunch before an appointment we had. We went into Pete's and they had a nice lunch buffet and very reasonably priced $8.95 with no drink or $10.95 with a drink. The buffet had ceasear salad, garden salad, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, pasta, bread, pizza and dessert which was cheesecake with strawberry sauce, brownies and watermelon. The pizza is fantastic! I would go back there just for that. The chicken was great as well. The atmosphere is only good. Very nice looking place and our waitress who doubled as the bartender was good and attentive. read more

Excellent pizza. Have been coming here since I was a student at Lane Tech. They used to serve pizza by the slice with a pop for like $1.50 during high school lunch hours. I've only eaten here once but loved the pizza. I ate in the restaurant on Sunday and there were only a couple of tables. I need to come back and try more pizza, but i have a feeling it's going to be hard for me to not get the wise guy pizza. We just ordered a Pete's Pizza after hearing about how great it was from a friend's father. I ordered online, they have an offer for a free 2 liter right now, which was nice. We got the party pizza in thin crust with sausage, onions, green peppers and mushrooms. The delivery guy was fast and friendly. He even was nice to my dog! I was, however, not a huge fan of this pizza. Maybe it was just the topping selection. There was nothing that was bad about the pizza, it was just so-so. My fiance loved it and wants to order it again, but it wouldn't be my first choice for pizza. read more

Pete's reminds of me of chilhood- my parents grew up in the Bell neighborhood and we used to get our pizza here all the time. I moved back to the area about a year ago and was craving some chicago-y thin crust delivery last Sunday. The pizza was pretty good, a little too much sauce for me and the sauce is rather sweet but other than that they promptly delivered at a fair price and I ended up finishing a medium pepperoni, giardiniera by myself! Love Pete's -- my favorite take-out thin crust (never tried anything else here) in the city. The last time I ordered it was terrible, honestly, and I was reluctant to order again for a long time. My fiance was pretty unhappy when I decided today was the day, but afterward he was raving about Pete's all afternoon and ate half a large pizza with hamburger on top. For thin crust definitely try Pete's Pizza if you are in West Lakeview/Bucktown/Logan Square area. The pizza is pretty good and the prices are not bad at all. They top the pizza with tons of stuff....which covers the crust so it kinda makes it look like super thin crust. But it is quite tasty! read more

Its good thin crust pizza with a nice list of available toppings. Not Fancy, and its what my employees always request when i offer to buy them lunch/dinner. And by the way, Petes has shown they are happy and able to provide enough pizza for a group of 70-100 (with a bit of warning naturally). Try their stuffed pizza, it can easily compete with all but the most signature pizzerias pie. Also, their delivery people have been some of the best ive dealt with. read more

part 1 Food: I ordered a small four cheese pizza add pepperoni, Garlic cheese bread, sweet BBQ wings. The pizza is pretty good I would order it again. Not great but pretty good. I was hoping for a more memorable tasting sauce. The wings were just so so. Pretty big size wings but the BBQ sauce was so so. Its kind of hard to mess up Garlic Cheese bread. Not bad. Overall I enjoyed the pizza. the sides were just so so next time I will just order a bigger pizza. Part 2 Service: I ordered around 5:30 on a saturday afternoon. The pizza came pretty fast. when the door bell rang I was thinking to myself man that was good service. But when I opened the door the delivery man realized he did not have the whole order. He had a very big box designed for large orders with only a small pizza inside. He was sorry and I understand mistakes happen but It was what happen that made me a little upset. I called back the the restaurant and was given to a manager. She was just as sorry as the delivery guy was and said the rest of the order was on its way. That was it. This was my first time ever ordering from this place. After I asked well what do I get for the mess up they offered a free 2 litter. I did not want that then the manager said well the best I can do is 5 dollars off the next meal. That was not good enough. Then the manger said I can do 7 dollars off the next meal (the Wings and Bread cost around 13 + tax) I said no what about this order this is the order that you messed up. after playing verbal tennis the manager offered to take off the wings and bread off the bill (will update this when if its not off the bill by the weekend). I understand mistakes happen. I was only upset because the service to pick up the pieces after the mistake was pretty bad. I will try and order from them again because the pizza was pretty good but if I get the same service it will be my last time. There are too many pizza places in Chicago that sell "pretty good" pizza so I can pass on a place with just so so service. read more

We ordered thin crust pizza for delivery with mushroom and spinach. My husband and I both agreed that the pizza had little flavor. We added tons of hot sauce to make it taste better. I usually order from Art of Pizza but wanted to try something new. Don't think we'll be ordering from here again. On a positive note, service was fast and friendly. Living outside of the delivery range of reputable pizza places and craving deep dish caused me to try Pete's tonight. It was honestly awful. I paid $5 additional for two toppings, one of which did not seem to make it on to the pizza at all; the spinach was sparse at best. The pizza itself was disappointing in every way. It was cold by the time it arrived, 20 minutes late. Hardly any sauce at all, it was really just a brick of over cooked, tough, flavorless crust covered by a brick of solid, flavorless cheese. I also ordered a side of breaded mushrooms for $5.25. I got TWELVE total mushrooms for that price. Total rip off price wise, and I still didn't get a real slice of deep dish. read more

I've been ordering from Pete's for over 5 years now. All I can say is that it's been consistently good pizza the whole time. Order it well done for the full experience. I will not admit this to my Mother, but I think their Lasagna is better than hers... North Center deliver within 40mins usually. Sauce is a touch on the sweet side, some like it that way - others not. Definitely better than a lot of the pizza in town. This is their second place - so the pizza is getting better with time and the aged pizza pans. Breaded mushrooms and poppers are great, and the boneless chicken is way better than Domino's. read more
