We spoke about Brazil and recommended me places to visit. This was my first time trying authentic Brazilian food, and Mylla made the experience so easy and enjoyable. She was passionate about her craft, and gave great recommendations for both food and cocktails. The happy hour is a fantastic deal for Midtown, with bites at $12 and cocktails ranging from $10-$12. The portions were generous, filling, and easily shareable. My favorites were the mussels and cheese bread, though the steak tartare was also delicious and uniquely flavorful. Shoutout to Pedro for creating one of the cocktails I got to sample--it was a 20/10 in both taste and presentation! Great food, great drinks, and even better hospitality. I highly recommend Berimbau and will definitely be back!

The drinks are tasty, though a bit on the sweet side. Tried the pao and the pulled pork that came with it was a little weird. The codfish was delicious! The smash burger was small, but also very juicy and tasty. I would say it was like 2 sliders. The beets were good but they only came with three so a bit on the small side as well. Overall great place for happy hour. Will be back!

Unfortunately, we forgot his name, but he was extremely polite and helpful. We were celebrating my father-in-law's birthday with a group of six, and making a reservation was definitely the right move, as it's highly recommended for larger groups. We did the full Churrasco experience, and the meat was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. They also have a salad bar, and everything there was made fresh and tasted amazing. We had the lava cake, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just because it's a steakhouse in mid-town Manhattan doesn't mean you have to break the bank. Fogo has one thing on the menu that should fit the bill: Market Table & Feijoada Bar. OYCE for $20 if you come during their lunch hours which are 11:30-3pm during weekdays and 11:30-2pm on weekends. The salad bar was splendid. I must have sampled at least 90% of their offerings. Everything was so colorful, delish and healthful, making me relatively guilt-free while committing gluttony. There were so many recipes I rarely have the opportunity to experience, yet here they were - all at the same bar. I particularly enjoyed the roasted zucchini, pickled tomato, greens with roasted pears, and persimmons. For those who require animal protein, smoked salmon and chicken salad were available, as well as pork at the Feijoda bar. Speaking of which, I wasn't a fan of that section. The Feijoda was too salty while the lentil soup was too bland. The ambiance was elegant and staff were professional. There were a few issues for me personally: none of the staff replenishing the food spoke English, they had to correct my bill twice, and the person who answered my call was scripted and mechanical - I might as well talk to a bot.

She gave amazing recommendations on what to order for both food and drinks and had such a pleasant personality, which really made the night special. Our table ordered a bunch of appetizers to share, and the portions were perfect. We started with the cucumbers, which were super refreshing and flavorful. Definitely get the crispy rice -- every version was great, but the crab and salmon tartare were the table's favorites. For crudo, we got both the yellowtail and the salmon, and the yellowtail was so good we had to order a second round. The skewers were also a hit. Each one comes with its own sauce depending on the meat or veggie, and they come three pieces per skewer, with a minimum order of three. We tried the beef, chicken, and eggplant, all cooked perfectly. We ordered all three desserts. Our favorite was the crêpe cake. Definitely order this. The space itself is beautiful, and at 10 PM it transforms into a lounge with hookah, a dance floor, and a live DJ. On Fridays, they play house music, which wasn't really our favorite, but the overall vibe was amazing.

We started with the Pao de Quejo (Brazilian cheese puffs), which were tasty though probably couldn't eat more than one or two. My husband got the Feijoda for one and I got the picanha for one and we both very much enjoyed our entrees (I got my steak medium rare and a few pieces were over - closer to medium - but it wasn't bad). I also only ate one of my two steaks - like I said - they had generous portions! The rice and beans with the sides they came with were excellent. And I loved the collared greens that came with my husband's entree. What a great spot!

Of course we shared the cheese bread, which was served warm, satisfyingly cheesy with a nice sticky consistency. For my entree, I ordered the Steak which came with fries, rice and beans. Steak was not tender, as it was difficult to cut especially with the knife they had available. Fries were not crispy enough and very bland. I also got to try the Crispy Salmon and Cheesy mushroom rice. Crispy Salmon had a delightful crispness on the edges. The Salmon was also succulent and flaky. Cheesy mushroom rice was cooked perfectly, with plenty of irresistible melty cheese with mushroom and tasty seasoning. Service was decent. Prices were not bad. However, I would not return because the food was mediocre.
