We do not use this company . Fired them for garbage service ( lawn Fertilization and weed control) they failed miserably..  But today one of there highly skilled workers that doesn't verify the addresses proceed to service my house for pest control . I was Alerted by security camera.  This Moron enters my property and starts dragging a broom across my window track's and walls.  Over the years we have a couple birds that lay there eggs on on our back bay window track, needless to say Petri pest control Exterminated the baby birds. We found one in the shrubs but the other is Nowhere to be found. We call them but it was obvious that they could not care less. My opinion is that they're not A very nice company to deal with. We contract with petri to do lawn service, so when we discovered termites we decided to use them to treat the house. We were told to vacate the house by 8:30, the house wasn't covered until 3:30. We were told to spend 2 nights away. Tje clearing of the house could be early or late. Very vague. We have been waiting all afternoon for the house to be cleared. We were told 6pm, now it will be 7:30pm. Our salesman was very defensive, and was not prompt at getting back to us We will be cancelling our service. Call someone else, not petri. read more

I had another lawn service that would make excuses of why my lawn looked bad. Once I changed to Petri everything changed. Marlin is my technician, he is the best, if I have a concern he takes care of it. If you have a problem they will send a technician usually in 24 hours. When we moved to Florida we paid several thousands of dollars to Petri's "Positive" Pest Control to do basic things like spray for mosquitoes, deal with ants & clean spiders & their webs off our house every month or so. After Irma hit our home was swarmed with bugs. All over the doors, windows, garage, balconies, etc. Half of them bite & no matter how many times we spray them away they come right back. I know things were crazy after Irma so I waited a week to call & try to schedule maintenance. No one has been to my house since August & September is almost over so someone should have come out by now. They told me a technician would come out Wednesday, September 20th. No one came. I called back & explained that I have many guests coming to stay at the house because we're getting married soon & I need someone to please come deal with the bugs. They promised me someone would come out today, Saturday the 23rd. No one showed up. I called & they said the office is busy but someone would call me back. An hour later no one called back & at this point it's getting dark out. I called again & a woman said she would transfer me to the "office". I sat on a cycle of "hold music" & recorded messages for 5~ minutes before the call magically disconnected. I called back & was told the office is closed, no one is available to talk to, no managers or supervisors, no one. Overpriced for poor customer service & lack-luster Pest Control. No matter how many times they sprayed in the past year the bugs come right back. Save yourself the thousands of dollars & call another Pest Control service. Update 1 month later: Petri emailed me a couple days ago saying they were on my property & there are "no visible pest issues" on the property, but our home is still covered in bugs and spiders. None of our neighbors using other pest control companies have reported this issue and the lake behind our home is treated. Again-- save your money. Update 11/1/2017: Our tech, Alonzo, came out today and cleaned up our entire outdoor area & our upper balconies. We discussed the midge issues & the issues I had with the customer service. He was very friendly (as always) and understanding. He's always very attentive to my needs and was apologetic for the issues, even though they weren't his fault. read more

Still waiting for resolution after a disastrous Fertilizer spray job. Last word was that they will 'monitor the situation'. Monitor what the leaves falling off. Unfortunately it's holiday time with family and friends visiting our home. And the garden looks burned, like if we lived in the CA wild fire area. When the company said that it was our fault that was the icing on the cake. I actually have video of them spraying the plants. So sad. I would not recommend this company for anything but spraying roundup. Will post an update if they ever provide some type of financial settlement. For now it's off to the nursery to get fresh plants. update 12/30/2019. Petri made good and reimbursed me for the damaged plants. Thank you Petri! read more

Read this review if you are looking to utilize Petri for Termite Fumigation** I felt obligated to share our experience so the next person would ask more questions around their process and not find themselves in the disaster our HOA experienced. Overall I am giving them 3 stars because they do a good job meeting with your prior to the fumigation to answer any questions/concerns and at the end of the day the job was completed. However, we were extremely disappointed with how Petri managed our fumigation and would not recommend them unless they change their process. Below is what to look out for: 1) Petri outsources EVERYTHING and did not provide any project management throughout the fumigation. As a result it was chaotic and we had multiple companies with different responsibilities and different timelines which ultimately delayed the fumigation and caused confusion throughout the entire process. 2) Lack of Vendor Management - We did not have visibility into who the approved vendors were for the fumigation. This is important for many reasons but mainly so you know who is responsible for what and who should actually be onsite. This is a compounding issue from the point above around Petri providing zero project management and communication. 3) Key Management - We are in a townhouse association with multiple units and Petri was supposed to put all the keys into one unit and leverage the lock box to get in an out of the one unit housing the keys. We felt that was the safest and easiest way verse having multiple lock boxes. This was not only agreed upon when we met with their sales sep but also when we met with the Fumigators onsite. Instead we came back to our homes to find out the KEYS WERE LEFT UNDER OUR DOORMATS FOR THE DURATION OF THE FUMIGATION!! THEY ALSO MANAGED TO LOSE OND OUR THE KEYS!! Luckily we hired off-duty police to monitor our property 24/7 because to make this whole situation even worse we had a police report the first night that makes us believe that the miss management of keys was not an accident and we were staged to be robbed. I do not want to include the details because it has not been proven but we would be naive to think that the incident was not related. Overall, I am not posting this review to bash Petri, Ive used them several times for basic pest control and they do a great job but I would not use them again for Termite fumigation because you aren't hiring Petri you are hiring their contractors. When we do this again, we are going to ensure the company we hire is at least onsite during the tenting process to ensure their contractors are meeting the industry best practices and at minimum locking up the key!!! read more

Petri purchases my Exterminator I've had for nine years getting good customer service after the purchase they never contacted me to honor the further service when calling them they claim they would get back to me never got back to me emailed them three times never got back to me finally spoke to them after two months of attempting to reach them finally after setting up an appointment and they did not show for the appointment when I called them about the NO show their answer was they don't know why they did not show about the worst service I've ever had I terminated them I will never recommend them read more

unauthorized charged. be careful. i noticed them charging me after I told them they are not welcomed on my property because I did not like the way they handled a certain situation. They quoted me double for work because they knew i was under contract with them. I had another pest control company do the work for half the cost. so be careful of these price gaugers and be careful of unauthorized charges, they charged me without my authorization and without even notifying me of there intent to charge me. they are starving for 117.00 bucks. Its sad. I will dispute and let me bank handle this. about me - live in east boca. luxurious home. over 5k square foot on the water, petri charged me without my authorization i had to file a dispute with bank of america.  here is a copy of my dispute. I was initially very impressed w/Petri, amazing response time and great service. However, I've been calling them for about 1 week now bcuz i suddenly have a swarm of wasps in my backyard, they seem aggressive when I let our dog out....and no one ever answers. The recording says there's no callers waiting but still no one comes on the line. I'm automatically routed to leave a vmail, which I've left 4 and no call back yet. I just held for 30 mins, no one ever came on the line. And also, lately the technician is reporting that he's knocking all my spiders web down when servicing my property. NOT!! We've been a Petri customer for 4 years with excellent work from tech Mike. We've been fighting a losing battle against bigheaded ants for the last year. Mike has come out repeatedly for no extra charge to battle the ant issue, many times improving the situation, but never eradicating the ants. The last treatment was to be followed up with another treatment a week later to try and get the problem under control. Petri canceled the second appointment because we were a payment behind. 4 years.
