There may be better prices for pet supplies online, but online services cannot bathe your dog for you. :-) I use this PetSmart for last-minute shopping, only, and their excellent grooming service

    A cut

I was very upset when I went to pick up my dog and saw that she had been nipped. They tried lying and saying that it was a scab that was open up by the clippers when I know for a fact she never had a scab anywhere near that area. I wouldn't have been upset if they were truthful it's just the fact that they tried to lie to me that makes this worse. They also still charged full price and had no remorse. I will not be taking my dog back and I don't recommend anyone else does.

In the area, and needed a bag of their kibble. Good thing we just supplement with BilJsc and have free standing food for them. I think the price went up.. but still needed a bag. Glad there a store here.

I've gotten my dog groomed many, many times in the 4 years I've had him. I usually try to go somewhere local but I couldn't get an appointment in on time so I decided to go to PetSmart because they had availability - never again. My dog was a bit matted, which I totally agree too. I mentioned it at the time I made my appointment. I came in and mentioned it again. He has been matted a couple times in the past, and I've never had a bad experience shaving him before. His hair is super prone to matting, even though I brush him everyday. I typically get his haircut ever 8-10 weeks which keeps him from matting but this time I went longer and so the Matts were there. He gets the worst matting on his back and chest where his harness lies, due to it always rubbing. So anyway, I go in and sign the matting paper work and am charged an extra $30 for matting (I never have been charged extra before anywhere else I've been). This brought my total up to over $90. Part of the paperwork did mention he might bruise due to matting. This I thought was weird because he's never gotten bruised from a shave before. I also had to sign a waiver saying that if anything went wrong, I accepted the fact that they would take him to the Vet that they have in PetSmart. The groomer asked me what I was wanting so I told her I wanted a full shave but to leave his face and tail hair longer. She rubbed her hands through his fur and said "yeah he has some matting on his back and chest so we will need to shave, but his face has no matting so we can definitely keep that" cool. I show up 3 hours later and his entire body, face, and tail is completely shaved off. He has noticeable bruises on his back. I still tipped 18% because although it wasn't what I asked for and I was definitely upset, they still did shave him which is what I mainly cared about. This made my total for his haircut over $100 at this point. I get home and notice he was licking like crazy in his groin area. I figured it was just itchy from a new haircut and ignored it for a couple of days. I finally took a look when the licking didn't subside and noticed he had what looked like a sore. I took him back to PetSmart where I asked them if it was normal. They said "i don't know what that is" I said "ok.... he didn't have this problem before his haircut, and I've never had this problem with any other haircut in the past". They said "uhh sorry... take him to the vet?" Not offering to even get him checked at the vet, In PetSmart, that they originally had me sign a waiver too. Kinda annoying but fine, so I asked if I could at least get a cone. They told me "uh well you can buy one, aisle 27". They couldn't even bother getting me a cone for something that happened during the haircut. So I go to aisle 27, and buy a $45 cone. I had a vet friend take a look at his sore and said that they believed it was a burn from a hot clipper not being changed out, and that it caused irritation leading to my dog licking. So in total, I spent over $100 on a haircut that didn't match what I asked for, $45 for a cone, and had to have a vet visit. In addition to all of this, my dog couldn't poop for THREE DAYS because every time he attempted to squat, he felt discomfort and would just sit down instead. After using a cone and getting the sore under control, he has been able to go #2. I always hear horror stories on social media about PetSmart grooming but have never had an issue so I ignored them. Well, I learned a valuable lesson.

Our dog Poppy is a rescue with an unknown background (as many rescues are). We love her like a…read morechild, and she is our whole world. We have always wanted/still want the longest happiest life for her. Unfortunately, Poppy was incredibly reactive. It was mostly to dogs, and sometimes to people, and she was on the verge of causing damage to someone. We worked tirelessly for two years with her. Twice a day walking/training, going to training classes, having private training, reading books/watching videos, just trying to help her have good experiences and associations, so that she could experience more of life and have more fun (safely). Despite a great food drive & being incredibly smart, Poppy's reactivity even seemed to get worse no matter how hard we worked with her or what we tried. After this worsening, we knew that something had to give or Poppy could end up hurting someone or having to be locked away/euthanized. Bailey/Ideal Canine was our choice & saving grace to help our pup. We were taken with their dedication to dogs that so many others have given up on. We found that many trainers will not take aggressive dogs, so what are owners supposed to do? Give up on them? That wasn't an option for the pup we love so dearly, so we decided that Bailey's 6-week program would be right for Poppy and after our first meeting and conversations, we were even more confident that our dog wasn't a lost cause and could still be loved and helped into living her best life! Bailey is incredibly dedicated to the welfare and safety of all the dogs she works with and Poppy not only LOVES her, but it is so evident that she also feels safe and cared for with Bailey. Bailey worked with our pup and us, setting all parties up for success and answering all questions we had (which was quite a few). Bailey was never stumped by our queries and her experience/knowledge shows in the happy dogs she has helped live their best lives. Bailey not only teaches you how to handle & train your dog, she explains how everything she does is based on how dogs act, respond, & understand the world around them. She explains dog behavior specific to your pup and lets you know what different dog body language means which is supremely helpful in knowing your dog's thresholds and moods. During the mid/later parts of the 6 week training, our dog was hanging out peacefully on outdoor dining patios, having off leash freedoms, & co-existing happily with many other dogs-all of which would have been unthinkable to us prior to her time with Bailey. We are still in the early stages of Poppy's transition back home, but I have never seen her so confident & happy. One of our big struggles used to be barking out the windows and now, that behavior is non-existent. Our pup can now pass other dogs just steps away without reacting at ALL and feel confident knowing that we have her back and she knows what to do. Bailey has set us all up for success and given our pup a longer happy life and we are supremely grateful. Additionally, we can't wait to take advantage of the great perks that all of Bailey's clients can get like in-home boarding, group walks/training sessions and private training when we feel like a refresher.

I couldn't be more pleased! Boris is a backyard bred corso I rescued and he has many of the temperament issues that go along with that such as overstimulation and reactivity. As he's gotten older they have come up and become hard for me to manage. Trevor assessed him and was immediately able to zero in on the behavior! When we went to pick up Boris Trevor spent over an hour working with us to teach us how to better manage the behavior as well as go over what Boris had learned. One of the issues we were having was keeping him focused if an off leash dog was around, using the skills we were taught as well as what Boris had learned, when a dog approached us Boris ignored the dog and we were able to continue peacefully. What a pleasure to be able to enjoy a walk without having to be on alert! Complete game changer to be able to enjoy your dog. Now Boris is ready to go for the advanced CGC and we will surely be involving Trevor in that process.

I thought I reviewed this place previously, but it doesn't appear to be posted…read more I took my rescue dog here fall of 2024. Apollo was 80lbs of excited untrained happiness, and 2 years old. The first day the trainer/owner went over how they train the dogs, what he would learn, and what to expect. Great! I left my pup here, both of us excited, but it went downhill from there. They use slip leads & electric collars, which I am familiar with and ok with using (as long as it's just for grabbing the dogs attention and not as punishment). They assured me that this was their policy as well. Day two my dog didn't want to get out of the car when we got here. Stressed, anxious and didn't want to go. Day two I pick him up and his eye is completely bloodshot red, he's stressed out, and the trainers have no answer for why his eye is injured. Didn't even respond to my text with a video attached. My dog is sweet, but large, and he was acting afraid of his trainer (that day it was Lilly). Also the collar was SO tight. I understand it needs to be snug to make a connection, but this was WAY past the point of necessity. We stopped going despite having paid a lot of money for the training, they "graduated" him but we have never gone back, nor would I. Even after the "training" ended my dog PANICS whenever i would go to put the e-collar on him, and refuses to get out of the car. I have never used the collar above a level 4 (out of 15. Level 4 feels like a small stimulation on my palm, not a "shock") yet he is absolutely terrified of it. I obviously didn't personally see how they "trained" him, but my gut tells me they are using the e-collar as punishment; and only using it "correction" once the dog is already traumatized from being shocked. Two years later and my dog cowers when he hears the warning beep from other dogs e-collars. Would not bring my dog here for anything.

I asked them when I arrived to pick up my dogs, and staff of Sit Means Sit told me they were on the account online. I had no idea. No one told me. When I got home, I logged on and still, nothing. I called SMS and they finally told me they never took any pictures or videos. Nothing. Like I said, many people wouldn't complain about that, but ....
