    Regular Glazed Donut Holes
    Jessika W.

I've been on a breakfast kick this week (I usually skip it). so I've tried a few donut shops in the area + this place has by far outshined the others! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with such a warm welcome! as a true southern creole girl, I was ecstatic to see boudain kolaches on the menu! unfortunately, they were out of the spicy option by the time I got there (9:30) so I opted for the original and it was still delicious. the doughnut holes were perfectttt. it was the perfect amount of dough and sugar. most definitely will make the drive and visit again.

    Best apple fritter EVER!

Stopped in early for a coffee and possibly the best apple fritter I've ever had! Just a few minutes outside Austin, definitely worth the stop.

Spinach croissant. 3.99 and worth it!! Warm it up prior to eating. You're welcome

A wonderful donut shop with a variety of classics and some new things like the spinach croissant. The lady always remembers my kids and throws in extra treats. The donuts are fresh, light and airy. Not stale or over fried with a weird after taste. Highly recommend them and they have a huge selection of bottled drinks and fresh coffee.

I always see this donut shop when I'm in Pflugerville and today I decided to walk on and give it a shot. I was greeted and the lady was very patient with me as I chose my donuts and munchkins. She appreciated my visit and acknowledge it for being my first time by going over the menu. I choose a glazed, chocolate cake glazed, chocolate frosted and sugary donut. I also got a dozen munchkins on the side. The donuts are very delicious. They're light in texture meaning not too doughy and with just the right amount of sweetness. I highly recommend these donuts. I'm looking forward to giving their breakfast tacos a try especially since I was told when you get two tacos you get a donut!

I love coming here for their fresh and yummy donuts! So far all the donuts I've had was great and I recommend to get here as early as you can. Would really love to see more variety of donuts with different flavors and toppings too! You can also order online too which is fantastic!

This is my favorite donut shop in Pflugerville (dare I say Austin?)! The kolaches are huge and always fresh, and the donuts are perfect. They have a huge drink selection, with Vietnamese coffee that's delicious. The owners are very friendly :)

First time trying this cute donut shop by my house! I passed it up because it says they close at noon, but I seen others going in so I had to try them. I got regular glazed, sugar, and white cream filled donut, which was filled on location in front of me! They were so good. I also got a bacon egg & cheese biscuit which was warmed up for me. Everything came to exactly 6$, and was absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and wear masks, their are social distance tiles in place, and great deals such as buy a dozen get a dozen donut holes free. Will be returning and making it my go to donut shop

Good basic donut shop. As far as texture, regular glazed were somewhere between a cake donut and a yeast donut. Prices were reasonable.

Glad it did. The menu isn't huge, but honestly that's usually a good sign -- focus on doing a smaller menu really well instead of serving 94 mediocre things and a sad waffle. I ordered the Bad Ass Bacon & Eggs plate. It came with thick-cut bacon, 2 eggs, hash brown casserole, wheat toast, and smoked salsa. Bacon - 9/10 This wasn't your average thin breakfast bacon. Thick-cut, almost pork belly style, with killer flavor and very meaty. Eggs - 9/10 Cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. Simple, but done right. Hash Brown Casserole - 8/10 Different than what I expected, but in a good way. Unique flavor and a great addition to the plate. Salsa - 7/10 Very homemade style salsa with a smoky flavor. Different, but really good. Atmosphere - 9/10 Loved the vibe. Cozy atmosphere, great music, and just an overall comfortable place to sit and enjoy breakfast. If this place was closer to home, I'd eat here often. Service - 10/10 Excellent service. Christy H. was friendly, attentive, and on point the whole time. Overall - 9/10 Definitely a must-try breakfast spot in Austin. They currently have four locations, and after eating here, it's easy to see why.

You order from the counter and they give you number. Drinks are self served for coffee, fountain, or water. In a fridge next to the order station is orange juice, apple juice, bottled water, and milks (regular and chocolate). Since this was my first time, I ordered the flight of 3. I asked the employee for their favorite - chicken and waffles - and also ordered Banana Love and Grilled Cheese and Bisque. It was definitely a mix of flavors - sweet, savory, and hearty. The ambiance is upbeat. Playing top 40 type of music, folks are dressed comfortably, and the tables are a bit too close together but can easily to accommodate larger groups. Chicken and waffles. Had this one first. It served more like a main meal. Chicken was juicy, a bit more breading than expected but was easy to take it off. It was served with syrup and some sort of mayo/thousand island type mix. Grilled cheese & bisque. Had this one next. Should've been first because it had more of an appy feel. Waffles were nice and crispy, cheese was perfectly melted. I used the bisque for dipping but the also provided a spoon in case you want to continue on with it. Banana Love. Saved this one a dessert. The Nutella was pretty thick and a bit overpowering. The whipped cream was really good and banana looked and tasted fresh. Overall, very good and will eventually eat my way through the menu. The menu also offers sandwich type meals where the waffle acts as the bun. Those seem good for a real lunch.

I am a huge fan of the waffle bowls and they have several to choose from. My faves are the chicken and waffle bowl and the banana/Nutella waffle bowl. My boyfriend really likes the sausage sandwich (eggs, cheese, sausage, and syrup between two waffles) and the banana cream pie (waffle is stuffed with chocolate and topped with scratch made topping and bananas). So much goodness. My favorite sweet though has to be the Biscoff waffle. Literally one of the greatest things ever. Great brekkie and lunch spot.

When a master chef dies, It is usually very hard to his or her restaurant to recover. Brotherton's has taken a serious serious loss. * * * 1) The brisket that was once exceptionally tasty now does not taste like much. 2) Ribs that were highly regarded are now nothing special. 3) I can't say whether the pitmaster was responsible for the sides. I could've made it at home. everyone else at the table basically ordered pancakes with eggs or French toast because the menu was literally that limited, there was no "oo I want to try that!" moment. The service was great as we were a big party. The staff kept coming to our table to apologize on the long wait times; which was confusing because there was barely anyone in the restaurant... but the parking lot was full? where were all of those people?
