    Drunken noodles

Tasty. Responsibly priced. Good service. Vibe- love the simple and bright decor. Clean and good lighting. Food- so dang tasty. We got pad Thai, pad see eww, and drunken noodles for entrees. And spring rolls and cucumber salad as appetizers. All good was super flavorful, good portion sizes, and well presented. Service- everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. Shoutout to Victoria our server- she was super personable and attentive. Took great care of us!!

Always consistently delicious, great friendly service, and just in general brightens the mood!

So yummy! They have fantastic happy hour deals on drinks. There were very pretty decorations around the restaurant that made it feel festive. We received our food quickly, it was all very flavorful, and the service was fast. Would definitely come again!

Got dinner here around 8 pm on a Wednesday. Place was pretty when we came and even by the time we left. We walked in and were told to just pick wherever we wanted to sit. Menus and water were promptly provided. I ordered the pad thai with chicken and my friend ordered the pad kee mao with beef. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes. Pad thai was yummy, good amount of sauce. Lots of bean sprouts and crushed peanuts also. Pad kee mao had really strong basil notes -- probably the most basil taste I've had. Both dishes barely had any protein for the $5 additional charge -- if I knew how much protein I was actually getting, I probably would've just skipped on adding it. Overall a decent Thai spot if you're in the Marina area and don't wanna make the trek elsewhere.

I'm so glad we decided to come here !!! This place feels very down to earth and the staff is super friendly and attentive. They played 90s alternative which I appreciated :) the happy hour you just can't beat, 5$ cocktails and they were delish !! Food was on point, prices were affordable, they don't try and price gouge like most places so that was a plus. I definitely will come back. We accidentally forgot our left overs and the owner walked down the street and brought it to us which I thought was really nice. Please come here it's a must. Definitely a SF vibe here.

I'm giving the food a C- because it generally lacked any real taste or flavor. If I had to guess, most of the ingredients came out of a package or the freezer. For example, the springs rolls were hot but a bit stale and salty. The noodle dish (Pad See Ew) was bland and fried rice - completely forgettable. One highlight - I do think the added vegetables in each dish were fresh. We took home tons of leftovers but they will more than likely go uneaten. I would advice everyone to go somewhere else. Wait staff was warm and attentive.

I got the pad kee mao and it was delicious!! the spice level definitely surprised me but it was so good with how spicy it was (i love spice!). it was really nice inside with all the decor. and the waitstaff were super attentive! definitely give this place a go if you're craving thai food!

The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the staff was quick and friendly and the inside was nice! Great location down near north beach, good spot to walk around and see the area too

I stopped by after a pilates class and was seated by my server Tina at the bar right when I entered. Tina was awesome and a lovely and attentive server. It wasn't quite dinner time so I got a mango sticky rice and the nitro thai tea and both were amazing. The rice was nice and warm and the mango was fresh and sweet. It's a small and cozy restaurant and my food came out very quickly. I was also able to meet Bobby and Ashley who run the restaurant and they were super sweet!! Love this place and loved my experience here, I will definitely be back to try their main entrees next time!

    Braised Beef Noodle Soup
    Ronna I.

The braised beef noodle soup is excellent. It was loaded with tender pieces of beef and the stock was very flavorful. We also ordered the fried chicken skins and placed pieces in the soup. The skin absorbs the soup and it's so tasty. We also ordered delicious Ka Pow Wings which was a special item listed on the board inside the restaurant. The fried calamari that we had was flavorful but a tad too oily. The pad Thai that I saw at another table looked good and deserves to be tried on my next visit. This is a casual restaurant with very good service. They come to check on you and frequently refill water. Parking can be challenging since it's street parking, but we found a spot within a block during lunch time.

    Tom Yum Family Style

Food: Tom Yum soup: 5/5. Very flavorful, perfectly sour and sweet with a strong tomato base. Pad see ew: 4.5/5. Pretty decent dish. It was rather spicy for being at a "mild" level so beware. Yellow chicken curry: 5/5. Very creamy and spiced well. Service: Waitstaff were all very polite and friendly. However, service could have been more attentive--we didn't get our drinks until we were nearly done with our food and weren't notified of the delay until much later (it was due to a shortage of cups), amongst other events. Overall: The food is delicious, service isn't quite there but I'd definitely come here again, especially for the happy hour special (50% off cocktails)!

the prices are on the higher end for classic thai food, but the portion sizes are huge! the food was just okay for the price we paid. we tried the: - crispy pork with fried rice ($22): pork was very tough. but it was crispy and fried rice was good - pad thai with beef ($21): plain pad thai is $16 but we added beef for $5. there was too much sauce so it was very sticky and sweet. there were a lot of noodles but the ratio to beef wasn't great. beef itself was a little tough - fried calamari ($12): calamari was ok but the sweet chilli sauce wasn't spicy at all

    Ka Pow Wings
    Bry H.

Went for the happy hour. Definitely good price on the happy hour drinks. The Ka Pow Wings (appetizer) was recommended by the server. However, it was too salty for us. You can call it flavorful I guess. The BBQ Pork entree was not worth $22, half of the plate was just chopped up Romain lettuce. Dipping sauce was good but it was simply grilled thinly-cut pork. Soup was fine. Lots of mushrooms and flavor was good.

If you're going to do that, do add a small bit of oil, it's really spicy. The chicken was tender which was such a good blend. Their Thai Iced Tea is so good and creamy. Every bite and sip was delicious. We ordered family style and shared everything. The service was also fantastic, even though we got there late and didn't realize until the food was beginning to come out that it was last call, our server and all the other workers that came by were all so friendly and made us feel welcome. We ate quickly and boxed the rest so they could get home. What we ordered: Tom Kha soup - coconutty, creamy, a lil sour and a lil spice. Delicious. Fresh rolls - crisp and springy with lots of greens and tofu and a good peanut sauce to dip. Crispy pork belly sweet basil - the CRISP and flavor of this pork belly was to die for. Chicken larb - this was my favorite dish of the night. Heavy basil/herbs, just a little kick from the chilies, full on flavor explosion. I will be thinking of this dish for a long time haha. Beef Pad See Ew - chewy in the most delicious and favor packed way. Love pad see ew and this one was great! Pad cha scallop - Came out sizzling on a cast iron! This dish was fun and the scallops while small, were fresh and had lots of flavor. And finally, for dessert we ordered the black rice durian. It was all three of us' first time trying Durian and we loved it! Creamy and a little funky but the black rice and sauce emphasized its natural sweetness. Thank you to everyone at Saap Ver for adding to my besties birthday happiness! Can't wait to come back.

Pad Thai: 9/10 I really enjoyed this one. The noodles were chewy and the flavor was on point. Good with chicken. Samosas: 8.5/10 Solid. Good flavor but a little overpriced ($11.5 for 3 samosas) Khao soi: 10/10 By far the most impressive dish. I've never experienced a flavor quite like this. Fatty pork belly goes very well with the lighter vegetables. The service was very good. The workers were very nice. The inside was cool with a modern design. In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. We would've expected the pork to be sliced maybe in half or fourths to make the dish feel like a "pork fried rice" than a fried rice + pork mix, but it still worked well and if you love pork, this will definitely be your fix! 5/5 - Pad Thai - We thought the restaurant nailed this classic noodle dish.
