This dealer had agreed to sell me a car. They sent me wiring instructions and then backed out when a later buyer needed financing as they make money on the loan. They lied about how it happened...and treated me poorly, especially, Mike, the manager. Chris and Connor were trying to get the sale but were overruled by management. They tried to do the right thing but management did not. I have a paper trail including the draft of the sales receipt with taxes, license fees, etc. I have the wiring instructions including their account at Wells Fargo. Clearly they are the definition and stereotype of a USED CAR SALESMAN. Don't trust them until the check clears. (I am sure they will respond with some lame excuse but Chris and Connor know exactly what happened...if they respond it's because Mike, their manager, will make them lie some more) read more

I rarely post reviews unless I am horrifically dissatisfied and want to warn my fellow man! My experience with the process of buying a car has been on par with visiting the dentist. I take that back. I have better experiences at the dentist! But buying a car at Phillips made me feel like I had just gone in for a teeth whitening. It was totally painless and I left looking better! The salesman, Jerry, I had met before and told him what I was looking for- basically a clean low maintenance car at an affordable price. It took about a month from my initial conversation before I got a call. i thought he had forgotten about me but he REALLY WAS waiting for a great deal and the parameters I requested. I went down and test drove a car three years old with only 11,000 miles that looked like it was still on the showroom floor. It was in my budget, and a plug in hybrid that on my first tank of gas I got 92 miles to the gallon. And there was no pressure .. I actually drove a couple of others so he could prove to me that for the money I could not go wrong paying less money for a car that felt and acted brand new. Spectacular. Went down to sell a Lexus. It had an accident on the carfax when I bought it, which didn't bother me, until I tried to sell it....trust I was blowing up the dealership I bought it from. So I made a decent enough deal with the charming Malcolm. As he handed me a check, the original dealer called me back and offered to buy back the car for a better price. I recently purchased a 2015 Black Raven Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum in close to mint condition. Floor mats still has the "Dealer must remove" plastic on them (driver and passenger side) all headphones for the monitors were in its original packaging in boxes, also the rear net, and all the other little extras that come with the vehicle. Vehicle had less than 18,000 miles and still has Factory warranty. Tim was the gentleman who helped me with the vehicle. He was honestly true and explained everything to me and my friend that came with me to get the vehicle. Tim liked the fact that I brought my "wing man" because Tim had said, "Mohammad Ali was the greatest boxer of all time, and he still went to his ring side coach for advice" Time told me that my friend was my ring man and that's what he likes to see. People helping each other make the right decisions. Tim looked for the best possible APR and the best extended warranty. We thought (No offense Tim if you're reading this) he was just trying to sell a vehicle but we all opened up to each other which we didn't expect (Kinda personal stuff) so we found that truly admirable and trust worthy of him. I honestly will buy another vehicle from there obviously once I pay this one off, next car is a Cadillac CTS-V or STX-V. Yay yayee! read more

Finally found the car I've been looking for (make and model, power, color combo, low mileage, prestige condition for being a used car); but it was 600 miles down the coast from me.
