I preordered their German-style pretzels after trying them at a friend's event. They are soooo good and I decided to get some mustard flavors on the side too. The woman who helped me with the order was a doll and made the process seamless. The New Hyde Park location has on-site parking which is great since they're located on a busy main road (Hillside Ave) right at a major intersection. The establishment is small but it has exactly what you need - pretzel varieties and some other things as well. I noticed that you can even order their cute pretzel cart for an event - I can totally picture it at a kid's Bday party or Sweet 16. Stopped by today because my daughter was craving pretzels. While the staff was nice and friendly, when we got home and tried the cinnamon mini pretzels which cost $7 plus tax, we couldn't even bit into them, that's how hard they were. The pretzels were obviously very old. It's sad because that is their sole focus and to be selling old pretzels is unacceptable. Truly disappointing! read more

I've lived in Philly for 8 years and love the pretzels from Philly Pretzel Factory but haven't had it ever since I moved back to NY. I was ecstatic to find out that they were opening one near me in NHP. I had such a wonderful experience here today. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I got the small rivet box (pretzel bites), which comes with choice of 2 dips. I prefer them over the regular pretzels because their easier to dip in cheese, just like at the movies but they're both equally good. I opted for the cheddar cheese and nacho cheese dips. Their pretzels are always soft, chewy & salty and so good drenched in cheese sauce! Their nacho cheese is spicy and definitely has a kick to it. If you want to warm up your pretzels, just pop them in the air fryer for 3 minutes and cheese in the microwave for 10-20 seconds. If you're looking for a cheap, quick, delicious snack, get yourself some Philly pretzels! They also do party trays and have over 10 different kinds of dips to choose from. read more

Walked into Philly Pretzel this morning ... and sooooo glad I did!! Staff was so friendly and the store is very clean. Spoke to the owner, Brigitte, who was more than helpful when I couldn't decide on what to get. She told me that the free pretzel offer lasts till the end of the month and the 10 pretzels for $5 is only for a week. I went into work with pretzels in my hands and the aroma filled the room. Working at a high school I was able to spread the word and I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy their free pretzel and patronize this establishment!! Btw ... I don't understand what the 4 and a 1/2 stars are all about. Because the pretzels are so hard, you could break your teeth on them. I spent $21 for a sausage egg on a pretzel bun, and 3, when I only ordered 2 pretzels with hot dogs inside, they were so hard and tasteless, I had to throw it away. I literally cut the hot dogs out from the pretzel, cut it up at small pieces and fed it to the raccoon in the backyard. I thought maybe he would enjoy it more than me. Clean but small place. Pretzels are tasty and they offer a variety of dips to use. We paid $6 for 5 pretzels and another $0.75 each for a small cup of dipping sauce. Tough spot since there's relatively zero parking spaces. You're better off parking a block further up Hillside. These are a guilty pleasure in terms of snacking. The brownie batter is pretty amazing. Went there today for the first time with my mother. She had been to another location and was a little apprehensive about getting the pretzels because of the other location they're not good. When she found out this location is not owned by the same owner she was happier and ready to buy some pretzels and as I have never been there I had nothing to compare to. I thought the pretzels were really pretty good maybe a little too much salt but nice flavor overall. I only got a regular pretzel nothing else so I would be willing to go back and try some of the other things. I was not impressed with the idea of dipping my pretzel and like brownie butter or some of the other sweet toppings they have. But that's me. You might like that. My mother said the pretzel was better at this location and that she would also be willing to go back to this store. The staff was nice. They weren't overly helpful in helping us pick some thing. You know they didn't recommend getting the big pretzel or getting a Philly cheesesteak pretzel. So I personally would've liked a recommendation even if it is such a small menu because maybe they have a favorite thing and should let me know. read more

Food - Shamrock Pretzel: (4/10) This pretzel was very festive and cute, but unfortunately, the quality was not there. The pretzel itself was incredibly dry and hard, as if it had been sitting in the case from the previous day. The parts that were edible were okay, but would have been better if served warm and buttery. - Original Pretzel: (3/10) Same deal as the Shamrock Pretzel. We even tried to wrap the stale pretzel in a moist towel and microwave it to soften it, but there was no saving it; it was a goner! - Pretzel Dog: (6/10) Luckily, this item came out hot and fresh! It was a good snack, but definitely on the smaller size, especially for the price. It was nothing special, though. - Mustard: (6/10) We tried all three types of mustard - original, hot, and spicy. They were good, but the hot one was oddly too salty. Each cup was an extra $0.75, which seems like a lot for mustard that's usually free. Service: (9/10) The employees here were very friendly and personable. They were even able to provide my dad with a mask, since he had accidentally forgotten his. Wow. Excellent pretzels. Scored major points bringing home pretzels home for the wife and kids. Nice and fresh baked all day. Easy parking too makes fast pickup easy. Also brought sugar pretzels in a cup that was sitting there since earlier. All that was good is the regular pretzels I brought. Do not go here!!! Save yourself a headache and go to Franklin Square Philly Pretzel. They raised the price it's 50.00 for a large tray Franklin Square is 43.00. They are never prepared for a holiday. Today for Super Bowl the line was out the door and down the block, a fight almost broke out. They were giving walk-ins pretzels before the people who preordered. The tray wasn't even filled!! Every time I go they never have the order ready even on days that aren't holidays. They NEVER wear gloves which I have contacted the health department about them! Absolutely horrible place and the owner is the worst!!!! read more

I had perhaps the worst experience I've ever had in any store in my life on Sunday December 26th in your New Hyde Park location. The staff was rude and unprofessional. I walked in the store and stated the name associated with the order that my wife had called in earlier that morning (half pretzel/half hot dog tray). Staff made mistakes and incorrect assumptions about my order and never provided me any details or asked me any questions. After waiting for 20 minutes, they brought out an order that was incorrect. When I questioned the order and said that it appeared wrong, I was told "no, you're wrong". I was also told that if I had somehow been more specific when I entered the store, it wouldn't have happened.... That this was my fault. At no point was any attempt made to apologize for the confusion on their end. Be assured that I will never visit this store again and will encourage everyone I know to do the same. read more
