The auntie Anne's on the second floor is conveniently located next to the bathroom. This makes it easier to grab some auntie Anne's to go after using the restroom. The staff were really nice and gave me a free pretzel after I bought a certain amount even though I didn't know this was a thing. So it was good that they honored this rule even without me asking. The only downside is this one usually has a lot of people. Probably because of the prime spot it's in. They also ran out of whole cinnamon pretzels around 6 pm on a Sunday recently. This refers to the location next to Build a Bear. The other locations are fine. I went to purchase 2 pretzels for 2 people who were in the hospital. I went to this location after having a good experience every time I went there in the past. My wife is a big fan of your pretzels so I have been to that location often. I asked a young lady (who was supposed to be attending to customers but was attending to conversation with a coworker) if there were two hot pretzels ready OR ones almost ready to come out of the oven. I explained I was taking them to two individuals in the hospital and wanted to give them a hot treat. The young lady looked at me both with hostility and confusion and then blurted out a variation of "you want WHAT kind of pretzel?". As a business owner, I don't speak to ANY of my staff or customers that way and immediately was annoyed at her behavior. I immediately told her "Don't speak to me like that!" To which she began to rattle off responses to to me as if I was one of her friends she was having an argument with. After I let her know again you don't speak to customers that way, she made a comment in Spanish to the young lady standing next to her and went to wait on another couple. The person she was speaking to asked me what I wanted and I told her I wanted two pretzels. At this point, I had given up on getting them hot and just wanted the pretzels to leave. As she was getting them, I asked her to speak to the manager. She at first told me 1) she doesn't know who the manager is 2) The manager is not there and 3) She just started so she doesn't know. All of this begs the question: Which answer is true? At this point I was anger and persisted to know who to speak to. That is when the first rude person (the second young lady was NOT rude) chimed in and I told her, I was not interested in speaking to her because she was rude. She then turns to the couple she was serving and asks THEIR opinion if she was rude. They just happened to be African American as I am. I am assuming she asked THEM the question based upon that. Finally, when she found I was not leaving until I had a name of someone to call, she tore off a piece of paper and wrote the name "Tommy". I thanked her and walked away. I went upstairs to the second floor to THAT Auntie Annie's. I asked THE VERY SAME QUESTION of the young lady there. She showed me four that were sitting on a rack that just came out of the over. I purchased them and went on my way. Even if they didn't have it, I would have bought two regular pretzels. Here is the point: There was no reason the disrespect me. Maybe she didn't understand the question. If so, the proper thing to do would be to say she didn't understand and I would have stated the question again. Her actions seemed personal. THAT is inappropriate. Then when asked to speak to a manager, you want to try to hide that information? Why? An even better question is WHY WAS THERE NO SUPERVISOR ON DUTY? Here is what this young lady does not understand. Every year in August we treat our kids at our summer camp to Carvel Ice Cream and an Auntie Annie's pretzel. We have over 50 campers on average every year. Guess where we go to buy our pretzels? THAT Auntie Annie's. I will hope that someone in management will understand what I'm trying to say and deal with this behavior. Experience: I guess i'll be sticking with the first floor Auntie Anne's Pretzels in the future. I came here because I wanted to grab a pretzel on the way out to the car (I was parked upstairs). I had walked by the Auntie Anne's pretzel stand while shopping and came back after Chick-fil-a. I absolutely love Auntie Anne's Pretzels and have their app. The only places I go to with Auntie Anne's Prezels is Tanger Outlet, the Sands Mall, and Roosevelt Field mall. Of course I had to get a pretzel before leaving here! I had a coupon on their app for my birthday. I went at night and the girl who was working just stared at me and kept scrolling on her phone and waited for someone else in the back to come out and take my order. Eventually, I was helped, but she wasn't friendly either. I let my friend go first and then I ordered a plain pretzel. I was told that the barcode scanner didn't work for the coupon on my app. Service is just as important as the quality of the food! A decent variety of pretzels: cinnamon raisin, almond, regular salted, regular unsalted, cinnamon and pepperoni/cheese for whole pretzels. They also have pretzel bites in cups and they offer cinnamon, hotdog, salted and sometimes pepperoni/cheese. They have whole hotdogs wrapped in a pretzel too. When you buy 3 pretzels you get one free. Any combination of pretzels work for this offer. For 3 pretzels and a medium drink you're looking at $18 and change. They have bottled juice, fountain drinks, lemonades and slushes. A variety of dips too; from caramel to spicy cheese. They make pretzels fresh and you can watch them as they are being made. My daughter went to this location today 5/1/18 and was lied to and mistreated. She gave a $20 bill and they gave her change for a $10 bill. When she told them they were wrong,they insisted she gave them $10. She called me,I'm in Boston,she's in college in NY, I call them and no answer. After an hour and a half and "looking a store video" they still insisted she was wrong. She asked them to count there drawer and the "Manager" claimed he did. I can't go to the mall without going to Auntie Anne's! I might have a (minor-ish) obsession. I always get the pretzel nuggets. They are easier to eat while shopping than the full pretzel. My pregnant wife clearly said the mini hot dog pretzels and frozen lemonade the young lady messed up the drink 3 times and had an attitude while at it. When walking to the car my wife looks at her cup and to her surprise she got pretzel bites with no hotdogs, even though she was asked twice.
