    Cheesesteak Fries

Clean place and friendly staff. The place was well kept and the service was good. The ladies on the grill made the food come out fast and everything was fresh off the grill. I ordered the cheesesteak fries and they were really good. The fries were crispy, had a lot of meat, and enough cheese on top. Definitely worth it and I'd come back again.

I have been coming to Philly's Best for years and the food and service have always been excellent. I usually pick up a sandwich to take back home but I was out running errands and had to pickup something from CVS next door so I decided to dine in this time. The restaurant is very clean and the air conditioning feels great on a hot day. There are a few TVs with sports on as well. I like that they have an ordering kiosk which you can use to quickly place an order if there is a line to order at the register. Their staff is very friendly and greeted me upon arrival and thanked me when I left. I am a creature of habit and always order a pepper steak with cheese and onions. The bread is always super fresh and has a great taste. The sweetness of the peppers pairs well with the delicious meat and gooey cheese. The sandwiches are a pretty good size also. Whenever I get it to go, it is wrapped in foil and is still very hot when I get back home.

I don't usually review fast casual chains but this Philly's Best location warrants a 5-star review so more people go here. It's my go-to for a Philly Cheesesteak hoagie in North OC. They are consistently well done and the service is good. The seating area is very clean and comfortable. If you're in the area, support this local franchise location. You won't be disappointed.

The food is amazing huge portions wonderful service and lovely place Definitely I will come back

Steven was so nice -- he was very personable and seemed to keep calm during a busy rush of customers. I recently came here and ordered a pepper cheesesteak and was so excited to try it. I added grilled onions and cheez wiz. Unfortunately there were no peppers on my pepper cheesesteak, but it was still delicious. I did have to pay an extra $1 for the pepper cheesesteak, but hopefully the next time I visit it'll be just as good with all the ingredients! The place is small and intimate with a few tables to sit at and eat, but people were happily eating there and enjoying their meals! I'd go back for sure.

Stopped by and had the mushroom cheese steak and onion rings. The place was pretty busy but moved quickly. Food was delicious and fair prices! Friendly staff. Would recommend and would come back!

My thumb next to the sandwich so you can see when I say small, it's small

Great service and sandwiches! Today as Huge Hat fan I decided to try the Pastrami sandwich and they made it per my request with extra mustard and pickles. I will say this; The Hats sandwiches are much bigger B U T!!!! The Pastrami here was succulent, and not nearly as fatty as The Hats, so you must decide do you want quantity or quality? I will most certainly be back and ask for extra meat which I am sure they would offer. Also, the roll they use is heavenly as well! So if you like Pastrami try this and you tell me if I am wrong. Thanks kids!

The ladies in the front are always super sweet. Even when busy they greet me with a smile. The place is clean. Food is yummy! My daughters and I come here often. Definitely recommend. My favorite is the tuna sandwich. My daughters love the classic cheesesteak. Dana, Lisa, and Joud are sweethearts!

    So much meat

I eat a lot of cheesesteaks. This place has real cooper sharp cheese and is legit. I highly recommend it for the great service as well as the food. Get the Philly Philly with cooper sharp and thank me later. This place blows Matu away...

    Philly's best with pepperoni's

I just ordered the Philly's Best with Pepperoni, and it's not my first time at this store and definitely not my last. I love the Philly's Best Franchise but this store specifically has always had the most fresh tasting sandwiches and Shout out to the employee Joud, she for real the fastest person I've seen on the Grill.

    Melted plastic inside sub

Ordered 4 subs & fries through doordash. One sub had a piece of melted plastic inside.

This location is in Brea right at the intersection of the 90 and 57 freeways. They are best known for their pastrami and their massive portions. I got the pastrami dip ($12.60) which is their most popular dish. Pastrami is piled on a French roll with mustard and pickles and dipped in au jus. I also got the wet fries with gravy ($6.75) which was just fries topped with their gravy. I didn't realize just how big the portions were but it was a huge pile of fries. The interior reminded me of an old school diner. When I arrived there was a long line for the drive through, but ordering inside I got my food within minutes of ordering. The portions were great for the price and the pastrami was tender. I'd be interested in their other offerings.

I've tried their signature The Melrose, which consists of black forest ham, oven roasted turkey, bacon, melted White American cheese, topped with house slaw (lettuce, red onions, pepperoncini tossed in their "Melrose" spread) and tomato. I absolutely love this sandwich!! It's packed with so much flavor, and the bun absorbs all of the juicy goodness, making every bite incredibly satisfying. Runner-up for me is the Uncle Nikki. This one has Genoa salami, pepperoni, capicola, provolone cheese, also topped with their house slaw. I've only ordered from here through Postmates, and every time their packaging is excellent--they wrap each sandwich in this cute wrapper, which adds a fun touch and keeps everything neatly intact and fresh by the time it arrives. Each sandwich is around $12 (as of June 2026), and I honestly think it's worth the price because these sandwiches are huge and so good!!
