Fresh summer rolls with peanut sauce - did not enjoy
Rachel M.

Service was fast and friendly, and restaurant nicely decorated at Christmastime. I did not care for the fresh summer rolls. They had too much noodle and a runny peanut sauce, whereas I prefer more meat and veggies with a thicker sauce for dipping. Also, something tasted off in the roll, but I couldn't place my finger on what it was. Pho was okay. Thin broth and plenty meat/vermicelli. Generous with accoutrements (fresh lime, basil, sprouts, jalapeño). Not too salty but on the saltier side. I don't think I'll be back. Nothing wrong but not a showstopper either. Looking for a go-to.

XL #40 - well done brisket

Ordered an XL #40. Great portion for the price - $17. I was feeling a bit under weather and this soup healed me. The food came out hot and fast. The waitress was attentive. Lots of seating options and parking is a beeeze.

Still my # 1 go to for Pho in the STATE. Delicious, affordable, and authentic. The owners are super kind (the lady remembers that I like it spicy and brings over Asian chili without me asking). Worth the visit.

Visited here Friday, August 26, 2022, with a co-worker. The owner that sat us down and told us they had to put up curtains during Covid. The cables were still hanging on the ceiling. Only a few other people occupied the restaurant. She took our order quickly. Four spring rolls and beef Pho. The Spring rolls were light and served with peanut sauce. A giant shrimp nestled inside the roll and tasted very fresh. My Pho came out steaming with tomatoes, green onions, generous portions of beef, and the broth and noodles had real flavor. She gave me fresh bean sprouts, and jalapenos which I piled on top of that wonderful Pho. This restaurant had a wonderful rendition of Pho and the appetizer tasted fresh. Visit here for a nice lunch Pho experience!

Very easy to place an order by phone and order was done fast. We ordered various of stuff to go. Two pho, rare steak and beef ball slice; combination Fried Rice w/ chicken, cilantro, green onions, shrimp and pork sausage) and Jasmine Rice with Grilled Pork Chop, Sliced Pork Skin, and Fried Egg. The portions are good. Great taste, everything is well-seasoned. Combination fried rice comes with tons of meat. Pho soup is very soothing.

Very friendly. Took care of us right away. Pho was excellent and filling. Cute place but stay away from tables by the door especially if windy. Owner waited on us, not a fan of that but their business

Absolutely the best comfort food in town in a blizzard winter in Albuquerque.

Have been here for 15 years and it is by far my favorite destination in town. The broth is well cook with hours of pasturation with spices that is just like a real home cooking all the way from Vietnam in par with Little Saigon in Orange County.

Excellent Pho. I'm also a fan of their vermicelli bowls. Great for a quick lunch that isn't too heavy.

I want them to emphasize on than quantity. The gristles are very difficult for people who have the teeth problem for the seniors to chew. If they would move most of it, it will make it a lot better.

If you are in Albuquerque and craving a solid banh mi, CODA Bakery is a great spot to check out. I…read moreordered the classic banh mi dac biet, and it absolutely delivered. The cold cuts were flavorful, the bread was fresh, and the meat to bread ratio was just right since I like more meat than bread. This is an excellent option for a quick lunch, but I would recommend staying to eat if you can. The decor is simple, the space is clean, and there are a few tables available. It does get busy during the lunch rush, but the line moves quickly and is well worth the wait. While the banh mi definitely steals the show, there are plenty of other options on the menu. Their banh cuon, thin rice noodles filled with ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, was good, though still second to the sandwiches. They also offer pate chau, a flaky puff pastry filled with pork pate, including a New Mexico style version with chicken and green chile. They have a variety of Vietnamese desserts like che, which I did not get a chance to try this time. My coworker loved their traditional Vietnamese hot coffee. I do not drink coffee, but I did enjoy one of their smoothies, which was refreshing and delicious. Overall, CODA Bakery is a go to spot for authentic Vietnamese flavors and one of the best places in Albuquerque for banh mi.

They offer quite a variety of Bahn Mi Sammie's, Noodles, salads dang, they also have the Korean Corn dogs!! Let's just say I can come here many times and order something different! Since it was my first time I got the first Banh Mi sandwich on the menu, and it was out of this world! The balance of the savory meats, the pickled daikon radish and the freshness of the cilantro is just EPIC!! The drink menu is extensive, Bobas, Teas, matchas galore!! Again, I'm already focused on what I'm getting next time I come in! The service is friendly and welcoming, we were those people who showed up 30 mins before close.. I know I know. Fail! But I promise we tipped good . They were very appreciative. All in all, this is our new hot spot, can't wait to come back soooooon!!

I love Vietnamese food and was excited to try their Banh Mi and teas. I ordered #1 bc I love…read moreeverything and their fruit tea with passionfruit and guava. First, impression, the service was polite and understanding. The sandwich and drink came out within 10 min. Their Banh Mi was flavorful and was in a 9in roll that was lightly crispy and filled pretty well. I am used to shorter rolls that are stuffed way more. I felt like I ate more bread than toppings, otherwise I would rate it higher. It's about a $12 sandwich, on par with Subway footlong prices. The fruit tea was great, although I question the practicality of the canister it was served in. Instead of a plastic cup with a straw/no straw, it was in a plastic can that you can open like a soda can on top. I disliked how I couldn't reseal it or reuse it. If I wanted to recycle it, I'd have to put effort taking out the lemon wedges, which I did in order to. So, if I had the choice, I wouldn't get those cans. Everything costed about $20 before tip. I think in the future, I'll ask if I can get extra meat and veggies to make the Banh Mi feel more full. The place was also very bright and clean. I liked the atmosphere where there's plenty of seating. They also have every table with soup utensils and condiments bc they also serve pho.

After sitting on the I-40 for two hours so officials could clear three separate wrecks (*sigh* yes…read morefor real), I was all the things: parched, bladder bloated (lol, sorry), but most of all hangry. I called to place an order through "Bamboo by Kulantro" with a very friendly staff member. He was just as friendly when I picked up my takeout on November 25, 2025. My "takeaway" entree was the Bamboo Bowl ($18.12 with a card). It entailed "vermicelli noodles, spring mix, crispy garnish, peanuts, house sauce, crispy egg roll cut up into pieces, two grilled shrimp, and my choice of protein: grilled beef. While there was an enormous amount of vermicelli noodles which I could not finish, the rest of the entree had great portions of the rest. My dog even enjoyed much of the beef I offered her. (I washed the spice off.) If you have gluten, peanut allergy, vegan preferences, etc. - those requests can be honored. Inside, the restaurant was no frills, but a mostly quiet, clean environment.
