First time to eat here today. I have been to other pho places like pho king, pho sure (valencia), and some other pho place in northridge. And by comparisson, this is not my best place for pho. Its like my second or third choice. We ordered two number 1 (beef combo), and two number 2 (large combo beef and shrimp and ONE MUSSEL) haha. 1 order of rice rolls (Yep they call it rice rolls, the viet spring rolls), and thai iced tea. Tha iced tea was okay but i didnt think it was the three bucks. As for the rice rolls, they taste as good as other ice rolls, the sauce tho, tasted weird? But still good. And now, for the pho. I ate the big pho. I asked for extra onions put some sriracha and hoisin sauce. (BEST SIDE DISH TO EAT WITH PHO!) The meat was cooked very well, and was very tasty, lots of shrimp, but only one mussel (which didnt even taste good). However, that didnt take away from the overall taste. I finished the big bowl and ate my little sisters left over of the beef combo, also tasted just as good. Place is very clean, the staff are very nice, and good food. Not the best for me but still good!! Overall we spent, 46$ There were 5 of us. 4 adults and one kid. Cause they give discounts to CSUN students 10% off the entire bill!! So I came here with my family last Saturday to check out the new Pho place in the valley. The interior was definitely nice and didn't look shady compared to the other Pho restaurants in the valley. My family had Pho and I had the pork vermicelli which was pretty good and very similar to the one I had at an authentic Viet restaurant. I believe they have a kid's menu because I saw children being served apple juice boxes. The service was fast and very friendly. They constantly checked up on us. This review is long over due, as I have been coming to this place for over 4 years. Their pho is clean, delicious, and authentic. I've seriously tried most pho options their beef is amazing, chicken is as well and their vegan / veggie pho is soooo yummy they use fresh vegetables and this has been consistent. Their egg rolls are also so delicious. I have tried Vietnamese food all over and this place is unmatched. My family and I love this place. I literally crave this weekly. I've gotten the ribs steak, pho ga, spring rolls, and Vietnamese coffee. The rib bone is huge and the meat is really satisfying to eat or tear off the bone. It's nice and savory. Pho ga is standard chicken pho. Their broth is pretty savory. I recommend the rib steak pho and the Vietnamese coffee. The rest is not bad but not memorable. Very well prepared food. I got the beef fried rice which comes with a complimentary side of lettuce and soup! The beef is spread throughout the whole dish, they do not skimp on the meats! The staff members are quick to help and are constantly looking around the restaurant to see if anyone needs assistance. Yesterday, was my first time here at this Pho. I have yet to find a REALLY good pho since moving from Washington. I love Washington pho, well the ones I go to anyways. The place overall, looked sort of new and clean so it was alright. I came with a group of church people and was surprised to see how fast their customer service was plus the food came out quickly. I ordered the #6, I think steak + brisket point? (there were two steak + brisket options, and so I didn't know which one to order and realized it was written in korean too! So I went with the "chadol" brisket point) I was disappointed, the meat was barely any, and it had a lot of fat trimmings on it, brisket and steak usually don't have fat... that's why I order it in the first place... I am usually really picky about the noodles texture because I like it slightly chewy and soft. I have been to enough pho places to know that sometimes the noodles.. are hard or just plain gross.. I as skeptical at first when I took a couple bites here and usually I eat the meat first so the noodles will soften. Since there were not enough meat, I started eating the noodles too soon and after a while it was the perfect chewy + soft texture :) In the end, I was happy with my order minus the small amount of meat plus the fat trimmings. I love this Pho place. Although I don't come as often as I'd like it is always great when I come. I have had their vegetarian small bowl, which was loaded with great veggies and the soup itself was tasty. They have toppings such as cilantro, basil leaves, bean sprouts, and they provide lemon wedges. The other soup I've had was the chicken one which was delicious. I park in their 15 minutes spot just to be greeted by some Korean man telling me to move my car. I informed him it has not been the 15 minute mark and that I'm on his website looking at his menu to place a to go order. He proceeds to inform me that this was for customers only and to move my car to another parking spot and that I need to order ahead of time to be able to park in this spot. He said that there were already 2 other customers who personally complained to him that this particular spot was taken. I informed him that I come to this plaza twice a week and this 15 minute spot is always taken by a white truck and THAT customer is overparking the 15 minutes. He said it was ok because that was his car. So I said we'll do the customers complain that the 15 minute parking is always occupied when you are parked there??? Okay, first off I'm not someone who usually likes Pho and as someone like that, this place was bomb. The usual reason I don't like Pho is because the soup has a tendency to smell a lot and be too fattening. This place does it clean and real smooth. The soup is freshhhhhh! Menu is on the smaller side for Vietnamese, but the food here is really good. Family owned with a younger demographic wait staff. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I usually rate a Pho place by their broth and theirs is up there. It's tasty and hearty without the blatant msg-heavy taste that some pho places fashion in their broth. For Pho, my favorites are the Beef Combo, Deluxe Combo and Seafood Combo. I also like their Spring Rolls, Vietnamese sandwiches and Vermicelli. All in all, very solid place for Pho if you're in the Northridge area. Good for eating in or taking out. read more

Worst service ever....Honestly I'm not the high maintenance type and I tend to just bite my tongue if something bothers me, but this one was not just bad, it was terrible. First we walk in and we get seated then someone who walks in after us gets to put in their order before ours, we never get checked on how we were doing, we had to wave down our waitress to get a refill on our water...she comes and decides to refill the other couple who didn't even ask for water instead of ours, we asked for the check twice and waited for a good 10 mins. From the time we sat down to the time we left all customers in between that left the restaurant got acknowledged for coming in...except us. This post is probably going to get unnoticed by the owner, but wanted the public to know. Just some advice for the two girls who worked that night. If you are serving a table don't pass on the customer request to the other coworker because lack of communication causes you guys to forget and makes for unhappy customers. read more

Loved this place! I made an online order and wound up staying to eat there because their tables were nice and covered in shade. I had chicken pho with shrimp added. The large serving is HUGE and the chicken is all chicken breast (no weird fatty/chewy pieces). The shrimps were a decent portion for only $3.50. The service was good.
