We had just drove in to Vegas, came from an event and wanted something warm and comforting to eat before we went to our hotel. Luckily Pho & Beyond was open late. Located in the corner of a strip mall, parking is fairly easy to find. The place is looks pretty dark from the outside, but when you open the door, it's a completely different vibe. Bright with beautiful décor. We were greeted and seated immediately. Staff was friendly and very attentive throughout the night. For food, we got the brisket pho and Combination rice (pork chop and broken rice) The pho was delicious, flavorful broth, good portion of brisket and veggies on the side. The brisket was really good quality. My only complaint was that the noodles were a bit too tough for my liking. The combination rice was great. From the outside it looks like it has bars in the window and kind of sketchy outside. But once you walk in it's like wow, this place is actually really nice. We went for a late dinner and is more easily one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants. They open late, and the food was really good. I got the satay beef noodle. I asked for egg noodles and pho noodle and added shrimp. It wasn't very spicy but it was good. The service was good. Very friendly. Portions were generous, maybe because I added a bunch of stuff lol. When we got the check I saw that the 3 pieces of extra shrimp cost $12 . So don't add extra shrimp unless you really want to . But otherwise everything was very good. read more

TL;DR: Food is pretty good! Service is fine. Place looks really well decorated. A3 Rib Eye Pho is good but the meat is a little tough. Spring rolls are good. 4.5/5 Used to dine around the corner at Pho So 1 but, they're permanently closed and being changed into a new Vietnamese restaurant, goodbye to an old classic that was a hit we used to dine at. Beautifully decorated restaurant. There are plenty of tables, including bar counter seats. With how nice the restaurant was, I didn't expect the regular, wrinkled, stained paper menus. As for the food, it was quite mediocre. We started with the chao tom cuon, which was nicely rolled but lacked flavor, even with the dipping sauce. We then moved onto the pho, bun bo hue, and banh canh cua. The pho's broth was a tad sweet if you like that. The bun bo hue was said to be lacking some flavor, even with the lemongrass sate provided. It needed a little bit more salt content, whether it be from shrimp paste or fish sauce. And, the meat bone that came with it was too tough, hard to eat. As for the banh canh, it smelled more fishy than it tasted. The broth had a slight, starchy consistency and came with large sized, deveined shrimps, which was nice. Was it the best banh canh? No, but it's enough to cure your craving, I guess. Service was nonexistent after the order was placed. Pretty much the expected, standard Vietnamese restaurant service. Looks like good pho is still beyond the Nevada state line. Pho & Beyond has been impressing the heck out of social media and live visitors with the gorgeous decor at this second store of theirs. Located next to Ramen Boys on Decatur, they were pretty packed on a late Sunday morning and built a large queue of waiters by the time peak lunch rolled around. I was fortunate to get seated right away. Unfortunately, the meal had a less than ideal start when they forgot my drink order totally and took over 15 minutes to prep the food. I really wanted to love them though, and the first sips of broth of my Pho Dac Biet ($19.00) were savory and appropriately spiced. The meat was plentiful too. However, I started noticing the pho noodles disappearing too quickly halfway through the bowl and was left with insufficient amounts for the last several bites. Also, some of the tendon pieces were too chewy. I would also be remiss to ignore that the portion of basil on the side was a little low, although at least it was fresh and fragrant. The Hu Tieu & Mi Thap Cam ($18.00) was also not that great. The wheat noodles were pale and not the golden, distinctively colored strands I'm used to. There was also only one piece of shrimp. The broth was pretty nice at least. When I finally got my Ca Phe Sua Da ($5.95), or Vietnamese Milk Coffee, I did enjoy it. It's strongly coffee-flavored, has the right complexity and richness, and feels balanced between intense bitterness and intense sweetness. It isn't the absolute best in town, but the best one is kinda a mecca anyway. Oh, and it's in a plastic cup by default for portability. Pho & Beyond is a very pretty restaurant and may have some great food items somewhere on their menu, but it doesn't meet the standards of pho I've been fortunate enough to experience throughout my life in California. Came here for a midday snack on a friend's recommendation. I tried the bánh canh cua, which was incredibly flavorful and packed with assorted seafood and pork. Fantastic. Looked up Yelp on highlighted best pho place. Been dealing with health issues and trying to reset on a better way so it was shabu shabu or pho... and my stomach had shrunk so pho was perfect. I introduced my bestie to first pho experience and really enjoyed the rip eye pho... it was perfect to split Btwn both of us and still had some to spare so at $22 is worth it. Walking in the place to pick it up and KNEW this wax going to be perfect. It absolutely was! Great combo of flavor and portions. Only thing I would ask for is chili paste- yuuuum and extra lime but I love my citrus punch. New go-to pho spot in Vegas! Tried the short rib pho and wow--first time I've ever seen this on a pho menu! Huge portion of meat, and the bone broth is rich and deeply flavored--you can tell they really take time crafting their recipe. It's not rushed, it's love in a bowl. The menu's got great variety too--stuff like Vietnamese pancakes and oxtail pho caught my eye. Definitely coming back to explore more! I placed a phone order and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, but when we arrived, there was another decent wait. The presentation was great, even though it took extra long to come out. My friends were half way through the dishes by the time my dish came out. I honestly think they forgot to put in my order. The crepe was hard, not crispy at all and it was hard to bite into it. The filling was bland. I had to add extra fish sauce for flavor. My friends enjoyed their Pho. The pork chop in the rice dish was lacking seasoning and flavor. Perhaps I had order the wrong dish and should have gotten the Pho instead. Our waiters were very attentive. They kept checking on us. Beautiful, bright & modern but I wish the flavors of the food pulled through and brought it home. My sister and I got there right as they opened. Service was kind of slower paced, maybe it's because they just opened but also there was only one or 2 other guests inside with us so I feel things could've moved along a little faster. As far as the food, we ordered the nem noung, which was good. Fresh crisp veggies, the fried eggroll wrapped in the middle adds texture. The dipping sauce was a great balance Bun Bo hue- definitely filled with meat, and the novelty of the beef bone is probably what makes it $20. I honestly could do without the beef bone, it's really not needed. The meats in the bowl was enough, lots of good tendon pieces. It wasn't spicy though and the chili oil wasn't really spicy either. The broth was nice and light, I could've used a little fish sauce but that could just be preference. I think it's a good base but needs more flavor to develop. The bowl ratio was off. I much rather have a great bowl of broth with an even amount of meat and noodles. Shaking beef- I had higher hopes for this. The plating is nice, the rice is this bright red orange color, but it doesn't really do anything for the flavor. The shaking beef sauce was underwhelming, I feel like I could've made it better at home. Lots of garlic or jarlic fragrance. I've been to the other Pho & Beyond location, i don't know that I would choose it for bun bo hue. read more

Really disappointing experience at Pho & Beyond. We were seated immediately and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy -- there were plenty of open tables and multiple staff members on the floor -- yet somehow it took almost 20 minutes just to have someone take our order. We eventually had to flag a waiter down ourselves because nobody checked on us. After ordering, we then waited another 45 minutes for two bowls of pho. We checked in with the waitress twice during that time and still received no real update or sense of urgency. Altogether, we spent over an hour waiting for what should normally be a very quick and straightforward meal. (I'm Vietnamese, so I'm very familiar with pho restaurants and how efficiently they usually operate.) Pho is not the kind of food that should take this long, especially when the restaurant isn't slammed. The excessive wait completely ruined the experience. On top of all that, $20 for a bowl of pho is CRAZY. read more

The noodles were clumped together, the broth (while normally semi-thick) lacked flavor, and the fish balls and small crab pieces didn't complement each other at all. If you've had authentic bánh canh, you can tell the chef here didn't even try to make it genuine. We also tried the tamarind chicken wings ($9 for 6 wings). They were drenched in sauce, but the balance was off -- way too sour without the sweet-sour harmony that makes tamarind dishes shine. The bún riêu was the biggest letdown. It looked pretty with its vibrant colors, but flavor-wise, it just tasted like tomato soup. There wasn't nearly enough riêu cua to justify the $20+ price tag. Overall, I was highly disappointed by the food. Service, though, was fast and efficient, and the place has a nice vibe. But for Vegas, they're charging Bay Area-level prices without delivering matching quality. Honestly, I'd rather go back to Pho & Beyond -- this spot just isn't worth it for the food. read more

They're cheap on napkins unless asked, water cups are were in the heat too long so it takes like microplastic water. Their orange crushed ice drink was way too much going on spilling over. Even with all the imperfections; if I could give this a 4.2; I would. Yes, they take credit cards. People are quiet. Parking could be problematic if coming on a busy hour. We came from AZ and wanted to try a new pho spot. This is probably one of the best bowls of pho I've had. I was indecisive on getting either beef or chicken and I'm so glad I went with beef. I picked the brisket pho. The meat was so tender and tasty, it was amazing. I always taste the broth before I add anything to it and all I could say is WOW! The broth was so rich and flavorful. I always talk about this pho place to my boyfriend, hoping we can come back and get more. We also got a brown sugar milk tea with boba, it was so yummy. If you like sweet drinks I would definitely recommend that milk tea. The service was amazing and the workers were very friendly. They made sure we got everything we needed. The service was quick as well and we were checked up on pretty often. The place looked pretty new and had a beautiful design when you entered the restaurant.
