I am a regular customer here. Reasonably priced Thai restaurant just down the block. Favorites are the pad thai, crispy summer roll appetizer, and pineapple fried rice. The drunken noodles are very spicy!! I've also tried the Tamarind crispy duck, which is pretty good, although slightly watery in my opinion. The service is good, and the food always comes out fast!! I tried ordering online and it was a disaster. Apparently there was some confusion over whether it was delivery or pick up, despite my deliberately clicking on delivery. After 1.5 hours, I got a phone call from a woman asking where I was, and after I said I'd rather not get that same food that's been sitting around for 1.5 hours now delivered to me, she hung up on me. When I called back to be sure she did not charge my card, she quickly said "it was canceled goodbye." Food was reasonably priced - although they did not give us serving spoons with the dishes and we always pass around the rice and pad Thai -we loved the sprig rolls and the Chicken pad Thai was good. We have ordered takeout from them before and they were timely and the food was hot. read more

Moved to Belmont & we had been craving Thai food for awhile. This one happens to be right around the corner from us and we figured we give it a try. The pad thai was excellent! I love this restaurant. The soups are so flavorful! The pad Thai and country pad Thai (spicy version) are must haves. My kids can't get enough of the pineapple fried rice. The food is great. Being a creature of habit, I have only tried a handful of dishes on the menu but I like them all. My personal favorite is the Pad Woon Sen and Spring Rolls. You definitely have to be in the mood for thai, but if you are this is a great spot. The soups are also great for cold weather. The restaurant is usually pretty quiet - I have never seen more than four or five parties in the place at once. The service is quick, and usually takes about ten or fifteen minutes to get your food whether you order take-out or eat-in. Some of the best traditional Thai cuisine. Been coming here for about 3 years. Kind of a whole in the wall. The chicken-pad-Thai is out of this world, not greasy and heavy. I love the rush of a good hot Asian mustard to clear my head... be it with a spring roll, dumpling, or chicken finger, sometimes mixed in with another condiment. Strike one, two, and three is serving me watered down yellow paste and calling it hot mustard. I am not the first to call this restuarants food bland - it is as though they have no pride in the food they are serving. I've lived in the area for almost 7 years and never tried this place until recently. We got fed up of all the other Thai restaurants in the area...either we felt sick after eating there or it was completely tasteless. We've ordered at Pho and Thai about 10 times so far and it's now officially our Thai restaurant of choice. The food is much lighter than other Thai restaurants in the area but somehow it's more flavorful. We've tried many things on the menu and haven't had a disappointing meal yet. We order things there steamed vs fried, when available, and every bite has been full of flavor! I'm a vegetarian, my husband is not...and it's a place we can both eat from and be happy. Best part is, so many restaurants have only one vegetarian option, and I've yet to have the same meal twice. We've never eaten there, only take-out, so I can't speak to the service. However, with take-out service, it's ready in about 20 minutes and everyone is very polite when we arrive. Portions are large, enough to heat up for the next night's meal, always tasting just as good as it did upon first bite. read more

Sorry to say but this this place disappointed me. I was craving some delicate Thai deliciousness and instead got anything but. The beef skewers we ordered as appetizers were grotesquely huge and looked like burnt insoles, the dumplings were good but alas a bit cold, and the crispy pad that was way too sweet, I couldn't really taste anything but the noodles. Didn't need dessert after that. Only the Tom Yum soup is recommendable. I defintely suggest they refine their portions and cooking style. read more

I came in and ordered some takeout. The workers were very nice and helpful. For a mixed vegetable dinner with tofu with basil curry and a side of rice noodles was 12 bucks which isn't unreasonable. The serving was hefty and the ingredients were moderately fresh. Overall it was an average plate with average ingredients. I'll be back again for takeout when I don't feel like cooking :) read more

Just paid for a dish with freezer burned chicken, no sauce--and not inexpensive. This is the first and last time for this restaurant--too many other good choices in Belmont/Watertown! Another reviewer said the same thing: "chicken had the freezer smell to it." I don't know what they are doing, but this just isn't acceptable! read more

Pho was great. Meat was in pretty big slices and not a huge amount, but plenty for lunch. Hubby had seafood pho with shrimp, calamari and imitation crab. Both soups had good flavor! The crab rangoons and spring rid were great! We are visiting friends, but we will def come back here!! read more

i dined in with a friend. i ordered the chicken pho, it was delicious. i have been wanting to go back ever since!

Pad Thai came with no bean sprouts or veggies, overwhelmed with fish sauce, disgusting! My kitchen smelled like vinegar for hours. Honestly, it's worse than the complementary fried rice that comes with your meal at cheap Chinese restaurants. I cannot believe that they, in good conscience, charge for this pathetic heap of noodles. Flavors here are meh, not great, but edible. They're awful stingy with the veggies, even tho they're clearly FROZEN AND NOT FRESH. Overall, noodles are a total rip off. Stick with the curries if you must order take out (even tho they taste CANNED and you can easily get red/green curry paste at Asian Supermarkets). read more

Called in order and waited over 2 hours for delivery before I made the first call. When order was placed I was not told it would be over an hour for delivery. I called three times they told me the order was out for delivery. We called back after delivery was not made within 40 minutes of first call and we were told that they just came back to get delivery. It had been 3 hours since placing order. I WILL never order from this place again. Food was finally delivered 3+ hours later. Food was cold and pad Thai was not edible. Very disappointing. read more

Sad to say, not a repeater. I am a fan of Pad Thai, and this was the worst I've ever had. Chicken was dried out and noodles devoid of vegetables and sauce. No peanut sauce unless ordered separately. Spring rolls were disappointing with rubbery wraps and uninteresting contents. People who ordered drunken noodles said they were OK. Person who ordered pho soup gave it a thumbs down. Great little place in Waverly Square where there aren't many other options for some reason. I'd like to give them 4.5 stars, but I don't have the option. Everything I've had here has been good. Personal faves include the Crab Rangoon, Beef Satay (great peanut sauce), and any of the soups (esp Tom Yum). Good portion sizes and fresh ingredients. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered take out from the place for dinner and it was not good at all. The Bangkok Duck was not fresh and covered with breading and grease (80% breading and 20% meat). The Tom Yum Soup has two small pieces of shrimp in it. Between the two items, the whole meal costs close to $30. I would not recommend ordering from this place at all.
